Punkinmusty: Thank God oo, since d day jonah and oritsejafor failed to smuggle arms for this BH boys they r nw runin out of ammunition and our army r now dealin with them properly. God bles d army There is still ample opportunity for you to desist from mischiefs, but if you choose not to, you will rot in hell. |
olatiler: PPL like u will never allow this Country to move forward based on ur religious and tribal mentality, if I may ask u, can u proof it to me that 9.3 million Dollar seize by SA Government in one of ur uncle private Jet are not meant to purchase weapon for Boko Haram by 50cent wanna be pastor in conjunction with other uncle of urs in ASO Rock anyway sooner or later all these secrete shall open Whatever you say concerning the controversial $9.3 million cash-for-arm deal is still subject to debates. In other words, it behoves on those alluding it to money laundering to come up with concrete evidence to substantiate their claims. However, comparing it to APC or El Rufai's stance on Boko Haram is clearly incongruent. While it's on record that APC and El Rufai had at different fora issued statements that suggested glaring sympathies for the sect, there is nothing in public domain (unless you know what many Nigerians don't) that points to Orishajefor's connectivity to Boko haram. If you still harbour any doubt on this, you can just try to google APC or El Rufai's public statements on Boko haram, from there, if you don't allow sentiment to set in, it will be easier to draw your conclusions. |
Reference: Hmmm, maybe they are just ten but rise time and again like some apocalystic zombie bedtime storyline. Of course you don't understand what a politically driven, fundamentalist jihadi insurrection in a predominantly feudal society is all about. Well it goes like this. Starve the people of education for generations then infuse radical ideologies while undermining all facets of civil authority. Add billions in stolen funds to a hungry people without hope, independent thinking and respect for authority and your constituency will be in the hundreds of thousands in and around North East Nigeria including Niger, Chad and Cameroun. The potential pool 'inductees' could easily outnumber the entire armed forces ten to one. The government needs a counter insurgency strategy that goes beyond the military. It needs to de-escalate the situation. It needs to create a three legged stool of law and justice, religious de-radicalism and social development on which all parties sit to sort out this mess. I agree with you to a large extent but my reservation is on the suggestion to have a round table discussion with insurgents and their backers. It negates all logical reasoning to discuss with blood letters, unrepentant killers and subverters of government machinery. This people should be given double dose of what they did to many lives lost at Yanyan, Jos, Biu, Gwosa and the rest. By this, those nursing that ambition of taking arms against their fatherland will think twice. No amount of deprivation, unemployment, social injustice or even marginalisation should propel any sane individual or group of individuals to resort to wanton killing of fellow citizens. If all of us should take to extremism under the excuse of social injustice, then there would not be a nation to live in. |
opribo: I have never deluded myself that Boko Haram is a strategic plan conceived by some military think tanks in collaboration with some powerful northern politicians. Their sole objective is to make the north ungovernable and ultimately subvert government. Seconded. |
sapientia: And i ask.. So anyone that is accused of corruption must be convicted?.. What if you are one day accused falsely of corruption without adequate proofs.. The judge should just convict you.. Abi.. That the case saw its day in court is enough for me to know that government is serious rather than sweeping it under the carpet.. In as much as i detest and vehemently condem corruption, it will never cloud my judgement.. My candid advice, next time, the prosecutors should get their facts right before rushing to court.. They are always in a haste.. No. It's not a compulsion for the accused to be convicted. What is mind bugling is how the APC jingoists see this. If such had happened to a PDP or GEJ associate, it will be seen as GEJ's way of covering up or not wanting to fight corrupt politicians. Maybe the APC warriors will stop cynical criticism going forward. |
imoleay0: CHANGE! FEDERAL Lol APC, Change for corruption, change for oppression, change for propaganda, change for insurgency, change for Tinubu's pockets, change for bribing lawyers and judges, change for hailing INEC when they win election only to call for Jega's sack anytime they loose, change for photochromic ballot paper false alarm, change for ridiculing nation's armed forces, change for winning and dining with political associates only to call for their prosecution when they fall apart, change for increasing tuition fee from N25,000 to N350,000 only to do a reversal when they lost election in Ekiti, change to construct roads with taxpayers money only to ask them to pay tolls on the same road! Change for asking a widow to "go and die" Change to rule a state for 14 years consecutively and not able to provide common water for the citizens, change to ask members to arm themselves with charms and confront law enforcement agents, Change for age and certificate forgery, change for upturning electoral results of opponents in local government elections, change for calling OBJ, Oyinlola, Oni etc unprintable names only to turn around and beg them to team up with APC for electoral gains! Change for fielding candidates from PDP in presidential elections! Change for been a PDP demon yesterday only to be regarded as "progressive" today, change for opposing anything from the sitting government no matter how laudable...What a Change. May God Almighty not give us evil change. |
reindeer: Under GEJ, the country has become a bedrock of corruption. May God judge you in accordance to your insinuations. Do you have any concrete evidence of those people involvement in corruption? Sometimes you people forget that those you are accusing are people like you who have blood running in their veins. Even Bode George you mentioned was acquitted by the highest court in the land. Watch what you say or write so that you don't become victim of your self illusion in future. |
Kelly32: Later someone will come to tell us that APC is the Party that will bring the political change that Nigeria needs. Those expecting this presently constituted APC to bring any positive change to Nigeria are living in fools paradise. If there are people who need attitudinal and moral changes in their lives, they are the APC members themselves. What manner of change can liars, political alarmists, photochromic ballot paper inventors, Boko haram sympathisers, propagandists...bring to a nation like Nigeria? While we know the devil around, we will not be fooled by satanic personalities who are wolves parading themselves as sheep. We are just too wise to fall for the antics of political imperialists. |
kingvicking: Curfew already announced, 7pm to 7am, funny enough Fayemi's press release direct accused Fayose of everything while initially its glaring that its APC at work. Are you really surprised? That's APC stock in trade. They cause chaos and turn around to accuse others of victimising them. They are bunch of shameless and deceitful personalities. |
fowowe411: You are very silly to av tell me to stop being foolish! Can't you air your own opinion without insulting me? I'm not surprise anyway,I'm very sure you are one of the e-rats employed by this polticians but my brother go get a job cos you may be dump sooner or later! I insist that you are foolish and stupid for such senseless post. If you are pained for been so described, why do you indulge in doing same to others. Who and what gave you the liberty to describe Fayose in such degrading manner? It's a pity that some of you that joyfully spread falsehood on nairaland are people whose personal lives is infested by frustration and immorality only to use internet to vent angers. |
oduastates: Emotional outburst without any form of reasoning. You must be mad for positing that Ekiti people are not intelligent. Are your parents more intelligent than they do? You even had the gut to describe who an Omoluabi is, can you claim to be one if you could foolishly degrade a whole Ekiti race in such silly manner? I won't just waste my time in joining issue with you on those senseless points you raised but I am pretty sure you did not mean them. Fayemi is not a gentleman and that' is the truth. And lastly, it seems calling others CLUELESS is the best thing that has happened to haters like you in recent times. Just continue with such rantings while the so-called clueless are matching forward while you die in hatred. |
duni04: Bros i don't get you.Their crime is that they had the audacity to challenge fayose's eligibility or what? If Fayose was truly clean why would he be worrying about a silly court case or is it now ok to unleash thugs on judges because you want to prove that you're not as timid as Segun Oni?How many had gotten real justice from the Nigerian judicial system? Fayose lives in Ekiti and he understands its political and judicial conflagration than you do. Having seen the handwriting on the wall( and judging from APC's antecedent of obtaining electoral victory through the backdoor, Salamigate as an instance), do you expect him to sleep by and wait for help from nowhere? Don't pretend as if you are not a Nigerian. |
Opiosko: APC handiwork. They would pull the house down on everyone if the don't have their way. Absolutely seconded. |
modestdude: GROUP WANTS JUDGE INVESTIGATEDMaybe the senseless APC warriors will have a take home from this. This maybe the end of Fayemi's political career. |
maslong: why is it that when ever an APC element loses an election they try every thing possible to make the place ungovernable. why, why and whyFriend, this is the poser for the blind supporters of that destructive and violent party. Anyway, it goes by the saying that "show me your friend and I will tell you whom you are". Only those whose lives are characterised by lies, deceits, arm twisting, rumour mongering, holier-than-all and other social vices will always go by APC and its ideologies. |
Arch1: The MC musiliu Oluomo and Alhaji Olorunwa faction of the NURTW in Lagos state are pro-APC and they seldom engage in political violence. Is that why Tinubu and Fashola have not been able to remove the touts from Lagos parks and bus stops for the past 14 years despite public outcries? At least, you have alluded to the fact that there's thuggery in APC too. |
Optimisticgondy: Thanks my brother. I also live in Ekiti, in fact, I just left Ado around 4pm yesterday. APC should be blamed for the present problem in Ekiti. I don't know why they are not contented with people's choice; people voted for Fayose cos they are fed up of their hypocritical rule, forming I HOLY PASS and yet, they went ahead to collude with E-11 group who are not even up to 0.00001% of Ekiti population to challenge Fayose's eligibility to contest as governor.Seconded. |
funshint: Shutup and stop pretending U̶̲̥̅̊ don't know whom Fayose is. Even his comments yesterday shows someone who's alrdy spurn for war "...my removal by any court will not come cheap like that of Oni..." do you know the meaning of that statement?! I just pity Ekiti state; dem never see anything O°˚˚˚What meaning in your foolishness do you read into that statement? Fayose has just told all who cared to listen that he will not allow Fayemi and his supporter of APC APC to truncate his swearing in through jankara market court ruling. It's as simple as that. No man will fold his arms and allow questionable characters to play on his intelligence. And that's what APC is known for. |
Delerichard: i have been reading ppł's comments since yesteday i discovered dat pple dat er commenting er nt frm ekiti rathar understand d politics of ekitiAPC er the cause of chaos in ekiti cos they dont want relinguish power to PDP,anoder tin is dat,wen foluso ogundare was killed by APC HA member in emure,it wasnt violence, wen jeje was killed in ilawe it wasnt violence and wen AIT crew was hit in ikere ekiti it wasnt violence.now dat fayose is fightin for his right u Called it thuggry.well,i want u to no that d judge that presided over d case yesteday is member E-11,wat er u expecting?fayose is wise but u turned his wiseness to thuggry,no wonder segun oni was robed in d court by salami.wat u Called thuggry are the masses that voted him in.ekiti love him!!May God bless you. All those who are stupidly blaming Fayose will be judged by their conscience. |
dreh]Had it been Omisore won in Osun, we would have been nursing our own chaos too. Ekiti people, how market? If atall fayemi bleeped up, you ought to have voted for the sake of peace he maintained in the state. You guys are just brilliant, you ain't intelligent!!!
Rather you are the one that's educated but very illiterate. Do you need further tutorial to know that Fayemi is the cause of all these? Why is he using the G11 to obtain court judgement to prevent Fayose from been sworn in nextmonth? Why is it that APC is synonymous with violviolence when taking over or handing over reign of government? This wouldn't have happened if Fayemi had kept to his promise of handing over peacefully. |
honey001: Why won't they riot, afterall they have now eaten and belleful..... 10kg of rice no Br small hunger He go cure...... Outcome of Stomach infrastructure. I pity the fools fighting..... May God punish you for propagating falsehood. Why do you still continue in this careless talk when even Fayemi has come out to tell Nigerians that he was not voted out because of any stomach infrastructure? You are surely living by mischief just like your father Lai Mohammed. |
cypha101: The people of Ekiti voted for trouble and they are getting it in full, mind you its just getting started. "I'm now a changed person" #fayose. Obviously! You must be a slowpoke. So you expect Fayose to fold his arms and allow Fayemi and his APC to stop him from taking over governance through blackmarket judicial pronouncement? You must be out of your mind. |
Blaqsmith: Can't Fayemi maintain his gentlemanly and sportsmanship attitude till the end of his shambolic tenure? ??For your information, Fayemi has never been a gentleman, it's just mere public perception. Which gentleman goes on air to accept defeat in an election only to change his tune less than 2 weeks thereafter? Which gentleman will disregard police advise not to visit a crisis riddled area only to accuse the same police of attacking him with tear gas? Which gentleman goes on a live TV interview to callously support his members for killing g an innocent passerby, cover his dead body with APC's vest(just to paint the picture of been an APC member) and also blaming the police for the killing? Which gentleman-governor will embark on creation of local government councils after his rejection at the poll knowing the financial burden such portends for the incoming government? One can go on and on but the bottom line is; Fayemi is just a subtle, arrogant and mischievous personality. |
fowowe411: When I was saying that the re-election of Fayose would cause more harm to Ekiti people ,some party goons were bashing me.I'm no supporter of any party but a supporter of good governance.Anybody who's conversant with Fayose's reign between 2003-2006 shouldn't be surprise by this latest uprsising, first it was a court proceeding that was disturbed now this...hmmm you have not seen anything!.*Runs out of the thread bfor the arrival of Fayose's goons* Stop been foolish my friend. Are you more intelligent than thousands of people that voted for Fayose against a much more lettered Fayemi? Didn't they see any violence trace in him before choosing him as their governor for the next 4 years. You are one of the people that derives so much joy in bringing others down. The state is engulfed in fracas today simply because of Fayemi and APC's penchant for arm twisting the law to hijacjy power. Fayemi is afraid of Fayose's incoming government and will do anything to truncate his inauguration. Obviously there are shady deals and corrupt acts he is trying to protect but it's just a matter of time. |
campustv: The Report coming in From the Ekiti State Capital Ado Ekiti confirmed that the NURTW members has taking over the state distrupting activities causing crisis this morning, this is as a result of the dead of a prominent NURTW member who was alleged shot at a range over nite.....This is what we get when a party will always go through the backdoor to stay in power. If Fayemi had not intended to stop Fayose's inauguration through judicial manipulations, maybe this would not have happened. That was the same antic they deployed when Salami was used to obtain questionable judgements that ushered in Aregbesola and even Fayemi himself. May God save the nation from APC and their desire to rule by all means. |
Aigbofa: APC leaders did not invade a court premises and beat up judges. Fayose first coming was characterized by violence and assassinations as well. You are very very amusing. Were you not in the country when the late legal luminary, Gani Fawehinmi was bullied, harased and assaulted by Tinubu's thugs right in the premises of Lagos high Court when he instituted a case of certificate forgery and "Toronto University "saga against the Bourdillion politician? Were you not around when Aregbesola asked people to arm themselves with charms against the law enforcement agents? My friend, let's us be realistic and eschew sentiments. APC is synonymous with violent statements and antics. |
Aigbofa: APC leaders did not invade a court premises and beat up judges. Fayose first coming was characterized by violence and assassinations as well. |
Johnnyessence: Lagos has been no man's land even if Igbo field Igbo candidate in lag APC will win cos fashola has done great things in Lagos even if he want to contest third term he will win but it's not possible.Ambode was born and bread in epe-lagos so at least he's a Lagos man he's a grassroot man in Lagos.koro will be disappointed again Cos' people are tired of rice and kerosene bribery just wait and see Gej will be disappointed in lagos.people are not bullied with I av no cloth and shoes again. You are completely wrong. On the contrary, Lagosians are fed up of APC's oppressive rule. Go and ask okada riders, people whose houses were destroyed without adequate compensation, people living in Epe axis who are compelled to part with their hard earned money on tolls despite fulfilling their obligations as taxpayers...If APC does not field a very strong candidate in Lagos next year, they will surely loose to PDP. |
ideology: Was there any violence after the elections? who won the elections? Obasanjo did not make the statement for people to be killed as we had in 2011 and now in Ekiti. APC leaders are fond of making provocative and violence breeding statements that results in death, destruction and breakdown of law and order. That's is the difference. |
shegsky: PDP will forever remains a formidable party in Nigeria. PDP ain't good playing the opposition game at all. APC can play opposition game like die. And that is why i love naija politics. When APC was in power in EKITI ,PDP never played the DEVIL INCARNATE GAME with them , now that PDP has taken control, What we now see APC and FAYEMI playing is that same BITTER GAME we know them for. Spoils, Destroy, maim and do all sorts just because we rejected them in EKITI . and that is why they can never grab the FEDERAL SEAT at all. I love them APC to be at the opposition. They are good at it . FAYOSE, CARRY GO , NO SHAKING. Good and sensible talk. |
ideology: If APC wins there is peace May your days be long in peace and may truth continue to guide you in your daily live. What can we add here? You have just hit the nail on the head. What amuses me the most is the extent at which our youths and elders have allowed sentiment to propel them keying into lies, deceits and violence the opposition party is known for. Looking at the the political antecedents of APC as a party and juxtaposing it with the spate of violence that characterised and engulfed the nation any time they lost elections, it does not need any crystal ball to conjure how violent and intolerant they are. One thing that comes to mind in APC and its leaders' escapades is that Nigeria will be in serious danger if they take over governance at the centre. |
Gbawe: Confused man, when will you face Chadian politics and leave Nigerians alone? It is clear from the garbage you utter that you have not got the slightest clue regarding what you are talking about. Why compare any Nigerian State with another when their realities and political dynamics are very different? It's obvious you are the one more confused. In the first instance, it's erroneous to embark on wild goose disparaging of PDP for the slow pace of developmental strides that took place in the state administered by them post military era. While many of those states witnessed neglect during the military era, the same did not play out in a state like Lagos, for instance, which had always enjoyed better adminstration even when the military was in government-the case of Marwa's feats coming in handy. Even at that,it's incontestible that the best performing governor in terms of infrastructural development is Akpabio of Akwa Ibom and he's a PDP governor. Don't get it twisted with the cosmetic and media development that permeate most APC controlled states today. Second, with regards to violence, associating it with PDP is another error of judgement. When wanton destruction took place in the famous wild wild west in the past, was it PDP that was ruling? Electoral violence cut across party lines in Nigeria and not peculiar to any party. And in fact, for more clarity, successive governments in Lagos under Tinubu's influence had always been riddled with thuggery and political misdemeanors. |
