PoliticsRe: Osun Sponsors 20 Youths To Germany For Agricultural Training by olaezebala: 1:51pm On Aug 27, 2013
Heard in the NEWS this morning that the training will last for a month. Meaning more than 3Milla on a youth for a month's training (Sounds more like holiday trip to me).
Why are they nt specific on the amount to be spent. What is over 64million suppose to mean? 1 billion is also satisfy the "over 64million" condition too.

If by any attempt or attempted attempt U quote me, use my username in ur post in a bit to defend Ogbeni's sponsored jamboree trip to Germany, may God work in ur life the way Aregbe is working in Osun

Gbawe: My friend, nobody owes you any pictures and no one is your Nairaland information minister to pander to your laziness. This is the information age so find the information you need yourself otherwise feel free to think the worst if you will because you are of the mindset to do that anyway.
My enemy, I paid u to be my information minister, so do ur work.

Can we have picture of this so called "largest garment factory in west Africa"? Sorry but I just don't trust CAN with there lies. After all the Noise on OPON IMO, they are yet to be distributed to the students.
EducationRe: Policeman Fires At University Of Ibadan Student On Campus by olaezebala: 8:57pm On Jun 24, 2013
Policewoman: People just open their mouths and talk thrash. What if the guy was in posession of some weed, arms or was DUI? My question remains, "Why run when you got nothing to hide?" OYA, OVER TO UNA.
aunty I beg park well o. Whenever I'm in Ibadan, I don't wait for ur fellows to extort me again. They tot me serious sense during my undergraduate days. Those moroons parked close to GTB at Awolowo, I came out of the bank with the 3k which was my pocket money. I walked away from the bank to get a bike back to ui and ur people came down from their van, bundled me into their van in the name of "u are a yahoo boy" and their first point of search was my wallet.ey were shocked to see only 3k in my wallet which they took anyway then they let me off very close to bodija market. Since then, if I see police van in Ib, I gots switch to the faith of my legs cause I know it's another fire on the mountain
EducationRe: Policeman Fires At University Of Ibadan Student On Campus by olaezebala: 8:05pm On Jun 24, 2013
This story get "y" leg oooo. There's no way any car can speed into ui no matter the direction the car is coming from. From ojoo end, u have to wait for those cabs to park well else na serious gobe. From sango end means u have to wait for the traffic police to stop vehicles on the other side before u can join the constant queue at ui gate. Besides, ui gate is always half opened with bump right at the entrance, so there's no way a car can speed into such area.

EducationRe: Opon Imo Will Save Osun N8.4Billion Of Textbook Procurement Costs by olaezebala: 5:25pm On Jun 04, 2013
I know some people already tagged me as Anti-Aregbesola but I commend him for this great initiative of Opon-Imo.
State will be saving 8.4 billion and students will be exposed to use of pad early. Great work there by Ogbeni. come to think of it, noone seems to be concern with the negative effect of using these pads by the students.
The disadvantages of reading on a screen is far more than the little advantages that ogbeni is achieving.
Reading print out has more advantage that reading on screen in the following areas;

1. Speed
2. Accuracy
3. Fatigue
4. Navigation
5. Comprehension.
e.t.chttps://www.ischool.utexas.edu/~adillon/Journals/Reading.htm.

Also, is ogbeni ready to pay the medical bill of the students when the health implications of reading for long on screen start? We all know that long exposure to screen affects the eyes and here we are celebrating an initiative that want to expose little one to long hours of reading on screen.

Must all Osun Students use glasses before graduating form Secondary sch?

Good initiative with too many bad turnaround.

Mogidi: Please leave Aregbe alone he's doing a nice job. Though he refuses to pay the #18,0000 minimum wage, he at least employs people for #10000. For those of you who have never been to Osun state let me tell you that #10000 is a lot of money in that state. Even teachers who are on strike can join this initiative and get #10000 big ones every month.

Aregbe for president jor.
Is this suppose to be funny?

PoliticsRe: Osun Emerges With Lowest Unemployment Rate In Nigeria – NBS by olaezebala: 10:54am On May 18, 2013
Finally, those staying in Osun are voicing out. Boda Gbawe should pls stop posting news from osun defender. This is a news agency owned and financed by the governor. Oh, broda Gbawe, do u know the debt profile of osun state? A state with a budget of #183 billion with annual revenue of #80 billion? @ the rate ogbeni is borrowing, an average of #100 billion per year (house just approved another #10billion) future gov of the state will smell pepper.
PoliticsRe: Osun Emerges With Lowest Unemployment Rate In Nigeria – NBS by olaezebala: 10:15am On May 18, 2013
I remembered begging those outside osun state to stop posting about osun if they don't confirm the news physically (personally). So many people talked about the first of o'yes being disloved which is actually true but some people outside osun state also claimed that he absorbed some to the civil service of the state and that they rest were given special training. I don't wanna talk much about the so called employement scam that took place so lemme talk about the training. For those that don't know much about the silly o'yes tech (training) u can read more from here http://oyes-tech.com/training.php . O'yes cadet were paid 10,000 naira according to the state govt and the registration fee for o'yes tech was 10,000 with the tution fee being 40,000 meaning 50k had being dicducted from the supposed 240K overall salary that the victims of circumstance (o'yes) will be paid in their 2years selfless service to the state.
Now that's the thing about governor Aregbesola that I seems not to like, he came on air talking as if the training was free where as the guys were forcefully made to part with 50k (from 10k salary) for the training.
The state's polytechnics and college of educations are on strike presently for over 3months and all ogbeni can say in one of his overtalked show was "strike ni mo-ma n gbo yo" meaning "I'm always happy hearing about strike". I was shocked hearing a state governor talked like that. He's good deeds are there for us to see so are his bad deeds. So pls, don't just come here and paint him as someone who is flawless.
EducationRe: 2013 JAMB Poor Result: What Caused It? by olaezebala: 1:52pm On May 06, 2013
Blame the candidates for the mass failure. I have two case studies that made me conclude as such. My older brother, who finished his first degree more than ten years ago but wanna do law and my young cousin (first timer). My brother is always reading @ every available time and space (jamb past questions and answer is always in his car), he checked his result and he had a 253. My sure cousin tried also has he claimed there is a study group they formed on BBM and also on whatsapp, always with his phone, reading textbooks with his BB at hand to respond to every message that dropped in. He checked his result and there is it, 167. Thou some will cheat and pass very well too oooooo. So blame the candidates that failed for not preparing well enough to pass jamb and since they know they didn't prepare, they didn't cheat as well.

Tks for all the abuse cause that shows the level of ur upbringing. To all the sane minds following this thread, here are pictures of Alekuwodo road that those Aregbesola's paid agent claimed to have been expannded and that there is underground drainage.

PoliticsRe: Osun Names Airport After Abiola by olaezebala: 11:28pm On May 04, 2013
mapet: @Olaezebala,

1. Please save me all your negative sentiments.
2. So Aregbesola "dismissed" the first set of OYEShuh tell me something.
3. Wrt to the waste trucks, whether he gave the trucks at twice or four times the amount....the issue is have we seen the impact of the cleanliness of Osun lately?. The answer is a resounding YES. From Ikire right to Osogbo, shows that there is a clear arrangement of waste management, collection, cleanliness of the streets etc
4. You must be a semi-illiterate. If 500k is spent by the local government (according to your spurious and unverified claims) so? 500k of what? compared to what? would you rather have a filth littered Osun state?
5. Are Mega schools being built or not? So it is a sin that the schools are yet to be completed? honestly the way some of us process things are jaw dropping
6. If I didn't pass through Alekuwodo on my last visit to Osogbo, I would have had the tendency of being misled by the cheap trick to paint the picture as you put it. In Alekuwodo, the road was expanded, hence some section of house had to go, there were median kerbs, side walks, underground drainages and street lights. A new dimension was to demarcate the boundary of the road with a perimeter fencing........is that a sinhuh For the first time, I am seeing a pretty standard road built in Osun, yet to someone like you........

Well it is glaring, someone related to you had probably lost out with the previous government and you cannot see the changes going on even when shoved down your throat
Oga Ade please don't take it personal and thanks for confirming my statement that u didn't stay in osun state.

Yes he dismissed the first of oyes and the new set are not sure of payment even after passing thru training unless their names make it at the final computed list.

Waste truck issues? I need not write anywhere before I get info about osun cause I have the info right @ hand (even classified ones). Yes he gave out some of those trucks out at twice their prizes and the remaining ones were the ones purchased by the local governments (under oyinlola's administration) which he(aregbesola) forcefully take over.

500k weekly on sanitation? U don't stay in osun state so u might not know that for a very long time, most if not all local government do come with vehicles to pack dirt without budgeting such amount. Osun state has never been dirty or littlered with dirt. Try and search to see how many times osogbo was named the neatest state capital.

Mega school issue? U claimed that he has built mega schools but now u are asking me if he is not building them. Built and building aint the same Sir.Yes he's building one at Alekuwodu and pls show me where the remaining ones are and what percentage are they to nearing completion.

Baba God please purnish online liars ooo. Road expansion in Alekuwodo? Underground drainage? Haaaaaaaa, Daddy Kafaya fear God now. The fenced started right where the old alekuwodo road stopped so where on earth is the expansion u talked about? Underground drainage for ur mind abi? Nairalander gots see how osun state underground drainage look like very soon. I'll get pictures of Alekuwodo road and upload them here so others can see how underground drainage look like in osun state.

Someone close to me lost out in the past government? Damn you. I hate politics but hate politicians the more. I careless about anyone close to me that feeds from the tears and suffering of fellow Nigerians. Akande had his flaws and that's why Oyinlola was voted in. Oyinlola fumbled and Aregbesola came in. People are already seeing his flaws to and if he didn't work on them quick, trust osun people, he will be voted out to. That's the truth.
