Education / My Brief Success Story At The University by olafunny(m): 8:15am On Feb 20, 2017
It's never too late to celebrate the glory of God in my life. So i decided to share my success story with my fellow Nairalanders. Through the ups and downs and times when there was nothing to eat, times of mixing noodles with garri grin , times of kulikuli and bread, times i had to lie to get money from home, times i had to do my own budget padling cus my own recession started since 2011 when i started my diploma at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (Naturally Ahead). It wasn't an easy journey and i never had the zeal to finish with good grades. All i had in my head was the 'freedom'. I thought I could do anything cus my parents weren't there anymore to monitor my movements. Yes i did. I went astray. My year 1 mid-sessional results was nothing to write home about, but the funniest part is that my so called friends had better results sad . So i thought of who i wanted to be. As the first child of the family, i needed to set a pace.

My story changed that year when realised what i was in school for. I increased my reading habit. I did TDB once and i collapse the following day grin that was when i realised TDB no be for everybody cheesy grin cheesy

In short, the zeal came fully and i graduated with 'DISTINCTION'.

Waited for a year at home and got DE in 200level into the same institution. This time i had the motivation already, all that was lacking was money for food cheesy. The hustle continued and with God's glory, i came out as one of the best.

NAIRALAND contributed immersely to my success story cus i cant even list the things i learnt so far from this wonderful platform. GOD BLESS NAIRALAND.

And to all my fellow Nairalanders, God bless you too.

As naija dey so, result no be sure work ooo, but i pray these won't just be the papers to exchange for akara, but source of joy and happiness.

Dedicated to momma.

My nameis Akosile Olayinka, and i am proud of myself cool
cool

NB: graduated last year, still waiting for NYSC. Should in case, you know wink

"Can you imagine
I used N4,000 to buy fuel for my car, so I decided to use the remaining N1,000 I had left in my pocket to get some food in a restaurant before I face the traffic.
As I ordered the food and sat down to eat, a well-dressed man in a suit sitting beside me said, "I love the way you eat, try their snail, I will pay." I hastily added four pieces of snail at a cost of N2,000 and continued eating. He said again, "You eat so well, please get a bottle of wine so that you can drink after eating." I hastily made the order and was having fun.
My total bill came up to about N10,000. I thanked him for accepting to pay. As I stood to leave, my car key fell down and I bent to pick it. I discovered that the man was
bare-footed! I thought the man was attending a certain church but 3 hefty guys immediately busted in and grabbed him by the arm. One of them said to me, "I'm sorry if this man has been disturbing you, he just escape
from our psychiatric hospital this morning...
I fainted!
Who go pay 4 me, abeg...."

People bashing the writer are sick in the head! When MMM finally crashes and people start committing suicides, shouldn't we feel guilty as a society that we didn't do all our best to warn against their risky behavior? Be your neighbor's keeper, SAVE A LIFE!!!

How many people committed suicide when savanah bank crashed with billions?

What has the government done about it?

Yes! I am a participant of MMM, and i know the risks involved. I read and understood that before i ventured into it and also before i refer people to do it.

When i joined MMM few months ago, i was also the doubting Thomas, but i started with my 'spare money' anyway. I have always taken critisms on nairaland very serious because i always believed before you criticize, you must have had some facts to back it up. So whenever anyone posted anything against MMM, i would read and take it into consideration before my next move.

But lately i realized that all these anti-mmm really have no more points to prove, but are only finding excuses to prove that they will be right someday. Last year, all they wrote about was how it would crash. It went on 'break' and they were really really happy, hmmm 'sadists' i would call them. During the break, they started analysing how MMM would never come back. Even the dumbhead turns to overnight writer cheesy . 10 posts about MMM not coming back could hit the front page in a day. Everyone of them wanted to be noticed, but actually, we saw you. Some even turned sudden researchers, surfing the net just to copy and past unconfirmed news about MMM. Like someone posted that Mavrodi made away with certain billion dollars, like he helped him to pack the money cheesy . I was so disappointed in nairaland for even moving such unconfirmed news to front page.

I read 10 reasons MMM would never come back. I also read some statistical evidence done by a nairalander on how MMM would never come back. Ehn ehn, so you sabi this na hm you no do statistics on how naija go comot for recession smh. They almost made me believe that MMM was not coming back. But atlast i noticed they were just trying to prove no point.

Your neighbor, whom you never cared about, now is the person you suddenly care for because you don't want him to lose money? What some of these anti-MMMers do is worse that being armed robbers. MMM is illegal, but betting should be yet it's legalized.

Because you are opportuned to live a life you want doesn't mean every other person is. At work, you reduce your balance sheet figures so as to pay less tax to the government, what are you doing? Your company has more, the government has less to develop the economy, isnt that worst? Before you criticize MMMers, please check yourself.

MMM came back earlier than promised, started matching the following day and those same people who wrote long articles about MMM never coming back now change titles to 'MMM is not fully back' 'Why MMM will crash again' 10 reasons why MMM is dying and will soon be dead' 'Pls don't pay into MMM' 'MMM won't last long' chaiii people, why all these. Ignorance is a disease, a very critical one for that matter.

To me if you really care about these people like you claim, then leave them. Your fake articles contribute immersely to the panic in the minds of the participants. MMM came in 2015 and almost spent a year without problem. But ever since yiu started writing these articles, panic started. What have you contributed, fear! In the hearts on those who you claim you care for.

Anyways, since i realized most of the writers are jealous about their neighbors and friends, who they thoughts were nothing, but are doing great things through MMM, i gave up. I don't care about what you write anymore. Savanah bank crashed years back, the customers are not paid, but they moved on with their lives.

Lastly, before you fight for MMM participants in the hands of Mavrodi, fight for the old pensioners in the hands of the government. Fight for kwara state workers in the hands of the government. Fight for the economy in the hands of the government. Then i'll know you really care about us.

LONG LIVE MMM
