I was charged CAD 150 just for study permit only, instead of CAD 235.. Has the person gotten a solution?

Gud evening house... I still havent gotten a biometrics letter yet.. Called vfs lagos today the lady said their have been similar reported cases... I asked her why these was so, she cudnt give a detailed explanation she asked me to send a mail to Accra office which I did, I only got a automated message saying they will attend to d issue in 3 working days.

***seriously what the next tin to do? I dnt undastand why these is so... The lady jst mentioned somtin abt forex but didnt go into details... Me nd the other person on nairaland with similar issue has contacted each other but we still need more enlightment on how to go about these... Tnx aous

Gm house, upon submission I was charged CAD 150 which have paid nd submitted. I was hoping to be charged cad235.. Which includes the biometrics fees. Or is it When biometrics is needed I will be charged cad85..have still not gotten a request letter for biometrics in mycic account.... Is this normal? I submitted on sep16th...pls enlighten

****Thanks bro finally submitted gtbank rate was #309 to CAD... Will I have to go nd do biometrics immediately? The message in my account keep saying biometrics not needed at these time, i taught I will do biometrics immediately after submission! Will I be contacted When ready to do or should I just go to vfs?

There are two ways by which you can do that;

1. Merge all the documents then compress

2. Compress individually then merge

You should google pdf file compressor or merger

thanks bro, but I think u mean pictures... Mine is pdf... I need to make all documents one file for upload nd reduce size to 4mb... I was initially making a mistake of uploading one after the other but after reading d instruction I noticed it should be just a file showing all the documents... Thats d issue

2)how best can I reduce a pdf MG since a document type should not be more than 4MB... For example i have documents that are meant to be uploaded to show proof of finance but are multiple pdf but how make them one? And not more than 4mb...

Use per transfer. Com, d school that accept this channel of payment are stated on d site.

Have used them once nd it worked.. But you can still Mail ur school if the medium is applicable to them.

Please house, about the letter of introduction from the company, the company has to use their letter head paper not A4 paper right... Enlighten pls...

But I hope the study leave letter can be written on A4??

Last year I applied via on line, will u suggest I try paper dis time?

One advice, get your gcms, if you wait for anyone to start telling you what to do, it will all be guesses, just get the gcms file

I notice that your admission was for a Computer Systems Technician – Networking Diploma program.

Unfortunately, a Diploma is wayyy lower than the BSc you already have therefore most VOs would tick a "Purpose of Visit" denial reason nine out of ten times. I see that you applied for the Fast Track option of the course, but this doesn't change much. A Diploma is lower than an Advanced Diploma which is lower than a BSc. This would infer to the VO that your primary intent is to immigrate to Canada and possibly not to even study when you get there (at least this is what most "Purpose of Visit" GCMS notes state).

Your agent really messed up by not advising you on the proper program level to apply to.

your employment letter,pay slips*I surpose u are a staff dre?ur leave letter and a letter to show that the company would be sponsoring and stating how much available for ur study and upkeep....

My application is about 9 weeks old now and my school has already resumed. Heard with one ear that if the Visa Officer is going to favourably consider my application @ this point, s/he will request me to defer my admission and submit another another letter of acceptance. Can someone with experience please corroborate this info?
I have this very strong believe that I won't have to go through this TRV application process yet again though.

yes that's very TRUE,I already informed my school of my current situation, and they said a new offer letter for the next intake will be issued once I get my study permit....has skull don resume nd haven't heard anything yet frm CIC....but I knw I will soonest kos the sep rush was damn too much nd I submitted late tough,so fingers crossed

Try making enquiry for the latest date for resumption in your school ....most schools give two weeks grace if things can work out within that time frame u can still give it a shot....mail ur school international student dpt to let dem know of ur situation they will be the best to advice u
