Please don't give up. There is still a destiny for you to fulfill in life. Think of life that you can encourage and give hope to if you can hold on. Think of generations that are supposed to come through, if only you can be alive. I can assure you it is not over yet because there is morning after night. Jesus loves you, that is why he gave His life for you. Cast your burden unto Jesus because , He is a burden bearer and a counsellor. Just give Him a chance in your life and it shall be well with you. Cheers. Please if it is possible you can drop your no for those of us who will like to call and cheer you up. |
Family / Re: How My Husband Turned Me To A Porn Addict by olagift(f): 2:54pm On Aug 16, 2017 |
Dear Op, as some people have rightly said that you are the only one that can make yourself happy. Please stop relying on your spouse for happiness. I know it can be painful for someone trying and working hard to impress one's spouse and all what you could get from him is frustration and lack of love. But you have to brace yourself up and take the bull by the horn by shifting your focus from him to God, yourself, children, aspirations and other things of life. I tell you there are things in life that can make you happy other than your spouse. Confess positive utterances to yourself and situation like "The joy of the Lord is my strength" "It is well with me, my marriage, relationship", "I will overcome this situation in Jesus name"etc. Also there is a possibility that he is having a mistress out there that he loves so much or he does not really love you from outset, he only got married to you to fulfill all righteousness or he is tired of the marriage/ union or there is something he knows / heard about you that makes him to develop hatred for you. You can try to involve the people he respects like his parent, siblings etc. If that is not yielding any result, then go for a separation for a period of time and observe what happens. But please you don't need to kill him and you do not need to die because of him for it is not worth it. Make your children your friend, take them out and have fun with them. Let them be in your mind always. It is well with you. Shallom. 2 Likes |

You need to be positive even in face of adversity and negativity. Do not allow the situations and circumstances of this life to take away your life. There is light at the end of the tunnel. The Bible say in the book of Ecc.3:1-8 that there is time for everything under the sun. What you are facing now is a phase of life which will soon pass away. You are in a time of sadness and depression now but if you can be persistent and endure a little more with faith, courage and positive mindset, then your time of joy is around the corner. Also Jesus said come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden and i will give you rest. Come to Jesus today and be saved and He will see you through. It is well in the well, please do not commit suicide. Shallom. 2 Likes |
Health / Re: My Daughter With Cerebral Palsy Was Battered By The Therapist I Trusted by olagift(f): 7:26pm On Jun 03, 2017 |
This is wickedness. The woman shows no sign of compassion, pity or mercy. For crying out loud, this is a child with a special need. It means that if normal children requires 100% love and care, then children with special needs will require double or triple love, care, attention, understanding and lot more. Since she knows she could not cope with her condition, she should have encouraged the parent to employ another person. Infact this type of person is not suppose to study a course that will make her to be interacting with human being at all. I just wondered what will be going through the girl's mind during those period. The agony, pain, sorrow, frustration, discouragement that will fill her mind when she was being abused. Dear little angel, the Lord will visit, touch and heal you in Jesus name. It is well with you. 1 Like |

That is stupidity of the highest order by the woman, her husband and family. How can someone loss a child first time because she refused to do CS and still allowed herself to be cajoled the same way the second and third time and now you are blaming God for their stupidity and foolishness? A beg go and sit down jare. All these cases you are bringing up are as a result of people's gullibility, stupidity and foolishness shikena. CatfishBilly: 2 Likes |
Religion / Re: Medical Doctors, Atheism and Daily Evidence of Failed Prayers. by olagift(f): 1:49pm On Feb 13, 2017 |
Infact, God bless you for these response. The actual problem is that a lot of people are gullible and stupid. There is no where in the Bible where God says you should not use drug or go to the hospital for treatment. some people decide to obey their pastors because they failed to use their brain. It is not everytime that a pastor will be right because he too is a limited and imperfect being. How can somebody in pain refuses to use drug to stop or reduce the pain if not for stupidity? If you are sick and you refuse to take appropiate drug/ go to the hospital on time and the person dies that cannot be the fault of God. Everybody on earth has a life span that we don't know. So when the time elapses the person has to go and it can happen by any means. It could be through accident, sickness, disease, sleep etc. We do not all have the same life span on this earth. All has been appointed to die and it is not everybody that will live to old age. So please do not attribute people's stupidity, foolishness and gullibility( as in failure to use drug and going to the hospital on time) to God's doing. tonio2wo: 1 Like |
Family / Re: Why I Wash My Wife's Clothes - Nigerian Man by olagift(f): 10:37pm On Oct 17, 2016 |
Op, God bless you real good. The message is not just about washing of cloth but about good teamwork in marriage in which there is no segregation of responsibilities. Whosoever that has the capability of carrying a burden in a family should do so with love and joy. They should gladly complement and help each other without attaching a sense of responsibility to it. If the woman is working, she should release the money for the development of the home. The man too should assist where necessary to move the home forward. Once again,God bless you op and your family. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

The story of the man born blind in John 9. I love the way he handled those Pharisees and his boldness. Also I liked the dramas that normally happens between Jesus and the Pharisees and the wisdom Christ used to displayed which makes them look and feel stupid. 3 Likes |
Family / Re: Is Your Wife's Money 'her' Money And Yours 'our' Money?. by olagift(f): 11:03am On Oct 16, 2016 |
Money is meant for spending. So if it is the husband that has the money, it belongs to the two of them, both of them should spend it. If it is the wife that has the money, it still belong to the two of them, therefore they should both spend it. If the two of them have the money, it still belongs to the two of them. Wife should not be keeping her own money or be spending it only on things she want only. No matter how big or small it is, it should be joined to the one of the husband to move the family forward. This is called team work and it is the best for marriage. In conclusion her money equals to our money, his money equals to our money. 3 Likes |

Family / Re: Why Are Nigerian Mother In-laws Too Mean Towards Their Daughter In-laws?. by olagift(f): 12:58pm On Oct 06, 2016 |
In my own opinion, i think it is all encompassing ie as we have mean MIL, we also have mean DIL, SIL and FIL. There are some factors that can make a woman to be mean MIL. 1) Personality issue ie she is mean irrespective of whether she is a MIL or not. There is nothing you can do with them other than to accept and love them the way they are because it is only God that can change them. They will even frustrate your goodwill and good character towards them. 2) Some women that are either single parent or widows, that have struggle to raise their children up singlehandedly and also have a strong bond for them. This does not apply to all of them, but you know it is not easy for one to labour and another person reaping the fruit alone or sharing with them. For this set of people, what you need to do is to show them love and be good and kind to them. Also prove to them that you married their son in order to add value to them and not to be a burden. That you did not come to take away the fruit of their labour, but rather you came to sustain it. 3) Some women have a very close relationship with their children, infact they love them more than their husbands, so this one can make them to see their DIL as a rival. 4) Some women are completely dependent all their days in life, so this type will be afraid that they won't be able to get the 100% care again. They became insecured and ended up being unnecessarily mean. 5) Some became mean as a result of their mean and wicked DIL, as a result of law of action and reaction. This type will bring out the terror in them just to show their mean DIL that she does not have the monopoly of wickedness. Above all no one is perfect. Tolerance is the solution here for both sides. Nevertheless, we have a lot of sweet, wonderful and friendly MIL out there. The question is will you be the sweet or the mean MIL during your own time? |
Family / Re: Will I Ever Get Married? by olagift(f): 11:47am On Sep 28, 2016 |
Dear op,please don't be discouraged because there is nothing abnormal about what you are passing through. It is a normal phase of life that you will overcome with time, talking from experience. All what you need is a little patient and prayer. Somehow and anyhow you and your right man will locate yourselves. Never you bothered yourself with what is happening in the life of your counterparts because we have different life to live. Please, marriage is not the ultimate and all in all achievement in life. Dedicate your time to God,yourself, help and impact others. Enjoy the freedom of singlehood because life won't be the same after marriage. And don't get married to someone you don't have feeling for and the one you cannot cope or bear with his weaknesses. There is a special man out there that is meant for you. Once again use prayer and patience to wait for him. 4 Likes |
Religion / Re: Why Are Pastors And Their Wives Called Daddy And Mummy? by olagift(f): 10:30am On Sep 11, 2016 |
No man or woman of God actually ask their members to be calling them daddies and mummies. You know Nigerians and their way of doing things. They are actually doing it on their own accord. I can assure you that some pastors are not comfortable with it. It is just that people are so used to it that even if you attempt to stop them, they would still not stop. |
Career / Re: 9 Things Successful Women Never Do by olagift(f): 1:52pm On Sep 10, 2016 |
komododragons:I am not talking about bragging here. When we talk about about bragging we all know the sets of people that brag most. Aside this, you asked of how many successful women we have, as if they are not in existence at all or that all women are useless and unsuccessful. If someone is not allowed to talk or show something, then how will people know about the existence of that thing? It is as good as if it is not there. I still stand on my point that there are a lot of successful women in our society. Mind you success is not just limited to men only. As we have successful men, we also have successful women everywhere. So it is only men's success that should be talked about while women should keep quiet about their own success story, I must say this is interesting and ridiculous. |
Career / Re: 9 Things Successful Women Never Do by olagift(f): 10:34am On Sep 10, 2016 |
komododragons:Please we have a lot of successful women in Nigeria. It is just that most times their success is being attributed to their husbands by the people e.g when you see a woman driving a car, the first thing that comes to the mind of those that see her is that it is a man or the husband that owns or buy it. That is just one out of uncountable examples. On the other hand some husband does not want their woman talking about her success because it makes him feel inferior. Moreso some women doesn't like talking about it because it makes their husbands look inferior to them. Talking from experience. |
