The rest no get God now, as per say we dey curse. Gtfo Beng1234: Taxify adds toll fee after the trip I buy 3k fuel and use till morning of the next day. And since I don’t work till 4pm, I don’t buy fuel daily. I make 10-11.5k /12 out of each fuel. I save 3k daily, 3k fuel, 2k-3kfor personal/car maintenance daily, less bolt commission.
3x 7 = 21k weekly savings 3x6= 18-20k fuel Weekly 2.5x7= 14k + personal/car weekly.
What I noticed: Pray Wake up very early, u can do 3-5 to trips before 10am (no lastma, council and vio wahala ) Vi is a dead zone until close of work( but I don’t wait till then) Be patient on a spot (in a street).
Nobody be professor for the game sha but if u put head well, something go comot |

Na hp pay these days for ehailng. eherbal: my kinda driver.its heart wrenching when you see some Coro driver lurch into potholes without as much as blink of an eye. I saw one golden 2005 Corolla carrying fire wood and another one on 3mb overloaded with stuffs I can't see,but the rear wheels were touching the cars body .very sad situations.their riders were female. I wonder what these ladies hypnotise these drivers with for them to agree to such recklessness? |

Go for the Kia Cerato if it is a block engine. Youngext: Good day Elders in the house, I've been a silent dedicated follower of this thread for almost a year now, I've finally decided to put my foot down and start this hustle come January. The restraint I have presently is capital to start, I can only afford a maximum of 600k as starting capital which I've saved up for sometime, and with that I have two open offers of naija used cars
1. Honda Accord (E. O. D) years: 2003 & 2004 between 450 - 600k
2. Kia Cerato 2008 between 450 - 500k
Please advice me on what step to take, as I prefer to be an owner driver or partner.
Please anyone with an offer of cars for sale falling within the price range that is also usable for the hustle, please give me heads up

Check whatever is making your Vechile consume fuel. Maybe Catalyst or anything else. V6 fuel consumption is not bad for a car that is yours Felicity001: Guy have you used a v6 engine before? And a Honda for that matter? I’ve been using this car for the past 3yrs so I know better bro. As a man you need to learn how to adjust to every situation/challenges in life. |

15k daily, Are you Joking? kodred: Not a bad analysis although there’s more to be made.
If you target 15k daily for 6 days, you should have 90k gross.
Any driver that knows what he/she is doing should have no trouble making 15k daily. |

You're a smart Person. And most of the driver over-work them till dey sleep while driving. Might lead to accident or something else. Y1nka: The car owner ideology is :big fish swallow little ones. They try to enslave fellow mainland person into picking a used car and paying high weekly for rental. Imagine a man telling someone I referred to him to pay 32k weekly on the platform. And the worse part is that he also is a driver.
Now On the driver side, most of them are naive and ignorant, they hear the “make 60k weekly on Uber” and fall for it. So after getting into an agreement , they find out how bad they f***d up. And want to f**k up their bosses back... breach of agreement .
Gbas Gbo’s every where.
Like I always say.... the highest rental should be 25k weekly.
If someone still dey give u 100k a month on the platform with your car in good shape. It’s bether than 30-35k, with car written off, and fights after.

The Reception Lady at my former office still earns 50k. From Mafoluku to VI everyday. kodred: You're just knowing that a lot people in banks or any other organisation earn 45k? Hmmmm You need to look for a way to work with the banks to enable financing for steady income earners.
Doing the same @bold would see your business soar grealty. You just have to invest in that area. |

ajoks533: Plz guys, I am sorry for interrupting the flow of discussion on the trade.
Let me start by saying good morning. I am based in Ph and want to relocate to either of Lagos or Abuja to start life afresh as things ain't going as they used to down here in PH.
A friend advised I sell off my 2002 Toyota Highlander and but a smaller car with less maintenance and fuel economy, so I can use it to go into uber in either of Lagos or Abuja.
I know I might not be able to get up to 1.5m on my Highlander, say I can be able to get like 1.2m on it and I don't have plans of where I can get more to add to it to be able to buy a car and have enough left to really hit the road in any of the cities.
Hence, I decided to come in here and seek for some advice from my brothers and possibly sisters who are already in the business. Please your kind advice and guidance is welcome. You'd def get a good Vehicle for that amount. Holla when you're ready. Thanks |
