Noiler is a dual purpose breed of chicken developed for small holder farmers to address the challenges of food insecurity
and financial dependency among rural populace, especially women.

Unique Features
Noiler is bred to survive in free range and on kitchen waste and farm by-products
to produce good quality meat and egg, hence dual purpose bird with following
characteristics:

- Hardiness
- High resistance to common diseases
- Heat tolerance
- Low input- feed cost, shelter, labour
- Tougher meat than broiler
- Nutritional security
The Noiler chick is a potential bio-converter of no cost agricultural, household and natural waste abundant in villages — into human protein food and substantial incomes for rural households.it eats whatever the local fowl eats yet grows as big as broiler.isn't this awesome?

To order for your 4weeks Noiler chicken call or WhatsApp 08060115253

that means for someone who is in kwara it may not be advisable to do pepper nursery in December if one is to depend on rain as the only means of irrigation. Here rain does not start early as you have in the south

if u want to make money with pepper and less stress of irrigation this is what you will do,do nursery by December 15-25, transplant it into nylon grow bags or used pure water satchet by 10-15 January, then field transplant ending of February, harvest will start from 2nd week of April and continue till the rain stops, this strategy will serve two purpose, you will have pepper when the price is costilest april-september,and you will do minimal irrigation, the only setback will be the management ,that rainy season is when disease is much, but with good spacing and Good agricultural practice it will work.
for someone who is staying in North Central Kwara precisely can this also work if the pepper is to be rain fed after been transplanted. The problem is the pepper staying too long in the nursery bag before rain become stable here

Feed back from people about Avenir F1 pepper is very bad nowadays, the germination rate is very poor. The one did last is just like 30% germination, maybe the seed as stayed long on the shelf,i don't know. I have decided not to help anyone purchase the seed again, the seed can spoil someone integrity. Technisem company should work on the seed germination, its not easy to pay 30k for nothing biko
any alternative one can use

My brother, I always tell people that excellent interpretation is the KEY. And the way you showed this picture, hmmm. There are potentials in you.

I know your mathematical skill is not bad, but you made a simple mistake. And that rubbished your work. And this has happened to me too, especially at the beginning of my style.

The document is correct, but you are the one who missed it. 50*100 is what you said. And in Nigeria, it is measured in ft. 50ft*100ft which is less than 1 plot. But, you used 50m*100m which is more than 1 acre. That was your error.

5000 sqft is 464.5 sqm. Now u see this figure again and you will get the right population for your plot of land. You can even see that 50ft *100ft is not a farm standard plot of land. Standard plot is 667sqm. If you multiple it by 6, you will get close to 4,000sqm which is an acre. Lol. These are fundamentals necessary in crop farming. It is why I always say that mathematical skill is needed. Just imagine how you missed it. And you might start blaming the writer that internet is filled with errors, not knowing that it was a slight error on your part which messed everything, and made you look funny to farmers who do not even understand what you are trying to do. Lol.
I have seen my mistake. Thanks a lot for the response. Really open my mind

30cm is for cucumbers too close for pepper, pepper will be 40 or even 50cm,that 30cm will need to jump 1 or 2 emitters when transplanting
I came across this online...does that mean a plot measuring 50* 100 will take up to 13000 plants

my brother I think whiteflies are the most stubborn insects to eradicate,I have seen a whole farm wiped out by excessive chemicals sprayed for whiteflies,if you have used dimethon I guessed you have used magicforce and action 40 ,if the fly still persists look for an acephate based insecticide like acetaforce and use,but if the flies are not there yet I think a weekly spray of action 40 will be a good preventive measure, some areas are prone to heavy whitefly infestation.
in my pepper pilot I planted okro as a companion crop. What I discovered was that immediately the okro started coming out the pest divert from the pepper to the okro. So I think a good way to handle pest in pepper farm is to plant okro as a trap crop

I think pepper and tomatoes are the same family,it will work but you have to be on your toes on management, tomatoes are a little bit tricky to manage but if you know the rules it must work, just get original knapsack for spraying,if your land is big get motorised sprayer or convert car wash engine for spraying .
again, won't the pepper root outgrows the grow bag or pure water nylon during this period

Wonderful thread. I've been following this for a long time, I'm just setting up my farm and i am about to do 10ha of hot pepper (rodo).

I planted a test acre of Avenir F1, the yield was over superb. However I noticed the following

1. The taste of the pepper is slightly different to that I buy from the open market in Lagos. How did not you now dispose off your test acre if the size is a problem

2. The sizes are very big, they are not like the hot pepper (rodo) I get in the lagos market.

The gurus with vast experience, please I have this question, as i intend supplying markets in south west, oyo, ogun and lagos state.

1. Are Avenir F1 accepted in these markets based on your experience?

2. What are the hot pepper (rodo) species that are well accepted in these markets.

Thank you all.

There are too many items you can pick from. Organic or inorganic. Do-it-yourself or you buy? Cheap or expensive? And many other decisions to make. You have to sit down and find the materials convenient for you. What I use may be expensive for you, and it's why most people attack me. We all have our styles of doing things. The end is what matters more.

What I can give you is what I have given you. I don't go about sourcing for nutrition for farmers. If you get some items and you need help, then, I may be of help. But for me to start teaching you to buy this here and there, I don't do it initially. But if I see the person is doing it, and needs further direction, I help. And I don't do such publicly. Not here to promote any seller.
alright sir
