Religion / Re: How Much Do You Give As Offering In Church? by OLANIYIPETER: 5:08pm On Jan 15, 2023
Kobojunkie:
Did Jesus Christ ask you to give offering in your church? Recall He warned His followers not to give their treasures to the pigs, and your churches amount to pigs given that they are businesses of this world. Jesus Christ instead said you should give to the poor and your neighbor, so why do you disobey Him in giving to a business? undecided

So this your disease have resurface again! Sorry for your pain.

So Thisday newspaper is this worthless and biased!? See as they are struggling hard to force Atiku down our throats.
70% to Obi in SE but 40% to Tinubu in SW!? And 60% to Atiku in the north.
Nothing is more stupid than this.

GOTVee:
sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I think we Christians should be ashamed of ourselves for heating up the polity unnecessarily. We Christians and Muslims should understand that Nigeria do not revolve around our both faiths. We have traditionalist and nonbelievers who have been politically marginalized all this years without been given any sort of consideration. There is nothing bad in having a Muslim/Muslim ticket if we truly care about the development of our country. We have had a Christian VP In Osinbajo for almost 8 years, how has it helped we Christians?

Let's stop condemning our Muslim brothers and sisters for political gains. We Christians and Muslims are one. I urge everyone one of us to support the Muslim/Muslim ticket for the prosperity of our nation. We Christians should learn from the tolerance of our Muslim brothers so we can have a peaceful nation sad

You need to found out the rudiments before criticising anything. HAVE YOU ALSO WONDER WHY THE ISLAMIC LEADER HAVE ALWAYS BE FROM THE NORTH? Not only that is from there but it will never leave the north.
The reason is quite simple, the South is dently populated by Christians while the north is muslims.

A BIG kudos to the real Democrats and strong people of Christian faith from the S/East. Anything that's not worthy living for is not worthy dying for. NO TO MUSLIM-MUSLIM ticket.
We also appreciate the Muslims who stand for justice according to the tenets of Islam. No Muslim will ever vote for Christian-Christian ticket.
Shame on few backsliders and lukewarm ones that follow those who will enslave them for life.

PresidObi:

One peculiar thing about the top three guys battling it out for the 001 seat, is that neither of them is there for the money.

One has milked Nigeria well enough systematically, and just wants to answer President by all means. He lives in Dubai full-time and only comes around every 4 years to contest for the Presidency.

He doesn't understand the struggle of the average Nigerian. He doesn't care so much. If he loses this one, he will go back to Dubai and wait out the next 4 years before coming out again.

Besides the fact that his ambition is scary, we can't afford to have a Paul Biya of Cameroun as President.

Another has been controlling Lagos treasury since 2003. He just wants to fulfill his lifetime political ambition of answering President, even if he dies the next day after swearing-in.

He would properly share Nigeria like cake to his boys....just like he did in Lagos. At the end of the day, he would teach us what being "fantastically corrupt" actually means.

The other was already a billionaire before 2003, and quite content with himself. He doesn't need your money for anything. He wants to be President to reset things and lay the foundation for systemic governance in future.

He relates with the struggles of the average Nigerian, understands what Nigeria needs, and has volunteered himself to save us from impending catastrophe. Win or lose, he would most likely not contest again.

It is up to us to choose wisely.

What a good rhetorics in support of your preferred candidate, but the FACT still remains the same OBI WILL LOSE THE ELECTION.

I don't understand because the normal procedure in military which i believe is also applicable to Police and other para-military agencies is that the accused person will first face orderly room trial or panel and if found guilty will be dismissed and handed over for prosecution.

In the case of Abakyari nothing like such took place except written suspension from Police high command instead of PSC.
Does it mean they can come come back to the police after less than 3 years in prison?
You didn't read the post. He has not been sentenced.

The main election is few months away and Tinubu life long ambition will not be achieved because of the northern factor and south east and south south factor which ofcourse will not favour Tinubu, so all this cheap bought over victory is not worth celebrating till you win the major in 2023 which I dont see happening

During the last gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Godwin Maduka, an Harvard Trained Medical Doctor , businessman and philanthropist, the founder of Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medical Center , an Accord Party (AP) candidate was projected to win the election, Vanguard newspaper of October 31st, 2021 named him peoples choice, on social media he has already won.

When actual result came out Godwin Maduka (AP) scored 2054 votes , 0.85% of 241,523, placed 7th.

Come 2023, it is either Atiku Abubakar or Ahmed Bola Tinubu will be our next president, whilst I appreciate that Peter Obi has what it takes to move Nigeria forward, but he like Godwin Maduka of Accord Party, Obi's LP has no structure to guaranteed success.

It is high time Nigerians engaged Atiku or Tinubu to extract commitments on their plans for the nation rather chasing unrealistic venture of Obi winning next year presidential election.

That is the reality we find ourselves, or join Charly Boy to queue up for Ghana visa.

How I wish this dumb and deaf ones will listen to this wisdom and reality! But just like if they are cursed, they won't listen. It is after general election next February that their eyes will oened.
