wittywriter: I can link you up to a Fund raiser expert that can help you raise the amount for the minibus but you'll need provide him with what he'll require of you ...I linked someone on here that was helped to raise funds for a car he now use for Uber...though I'm not in the country for now but he'll sure attend to you if I request of him...let me know your stance or if you are open to such process to get the minibus.
Wittyness.
I sent you a mail as regards this. I'm looking forward to your reply. Thanks.
FRANCISTOWN: I remember when I was an undergraduate. There was this vigil I used to attend every friday.
It was a RCCG branch. That was how one girl started shouting, next thing, she fell on the floor and started rolling, then the ushers came around to cover her up with one big wrapper like that. She started prophesying and said "one particular girl was going to graduate with a very good result". Anyways, the girl she prophesied about had an extra year and that's not the the gist. While she was rolling on the floor, she slept off and bet-wetted on the rug before she woke the following morning.
You see, these guys are not just funny. They are undoing their own self.
And you witnessed all this? You saw her when she slept off, on the floor I guess? You were still there beside her to see that she bed wetted the following morning?
oglalasioux: You are right. But making that money was easier back then. Even local farmers and primary school teachers could afford a lot of luxuries then. 404 Peugeot pick ups were so affordable (I didn’t say cheap) that it was very common to see a local farmer buy one after a single harvest.
It's indeed true the saying," to hide a thing from Africans, write it" . It's disheartening to note that almost all the comment stink of ignorance! Isn't the obvious glaring?
Offpointng: DomPerignon if you're this sensible, I'm sure your life will be more better than it is. mumu
That's true tho. I just remembered the making of a 4runner is in such that it got a rare foldable sit. but if it was the Rx 350, I'd have doubted it to accomodate 7 people.
But on the other hand, why go in that much number and in those typa vehicles for Kidnapping ops?
Firstly,I don't know you so I can't determine how better you have made your life.
Now to enlighten you, if you drive you'd know the benefits of using SUVs for such operation. It's basically because it's either all wheel or 4 wheel.
noobody: Not a totally bad thing to have my brain in my pants, At least I you confirmed I have a brain.
But you are totally brainless, stupeed, and a big phooool.
I wonder when my opinion about a topic on nairaland became your problem.
Ediot
You can't express ignorance on public forum without being corrected. I'm sorry you are pained! If you can't bear being corrected you can as well keep your opinion to yourself.
noobody: I would have believed this story, but the pictures of the guns just discredited the whole story, Especially the ak-47 live cartridges taped in red. I have seen SARS and IRT officers tape there ak-47 in red Does that mean they are displaying guns from police armory as part of evidence? Or kidnappers and police tape guns the same way?
I'm sorry to say this, but I have to. Your brain is definitely in your pants. So it's only the police that have the monopoly to tape their ammunition
KHAYGOLD: Something is not clear. Hundeyin said 9 were neutralized while 2 escaped. My point here is if truly they were kidnappers, how come they only went with two cars in such a number? Even the 2 vehicles can't contain 11 adults. Information also didn't say they wanted to kidnap one person (but some high net worth individuals). Assuming they kidnap 3-4 high net worth persons, can the boot contain them all without dying especially when we know that most of these rich men are suffering from one ailments to another like hypertension, internal diseases and so on.
I don't know how knowledgeable you are but you ooze off ignorance. An SUV can carry 7 people including the driver.
ShinnBet: China can afford to walk away from it. Remember , they are the ones who actually make shit the world needs .
As for Saudis, their cash reserves in the US has since been liquidated and converted to bullion bars that are securely stored in a Siberian vault.
No one even trusts the US in holding their gold.
Germany demanded some years back to recoup back some of their gold stored in Fort Knox but all their attempts were waived aside. When they even demanded to see their gold in the vaults , they were still denied.
It's believed that there is no gold left in Fort Knox and that all or most of it has found its way to Israel were it was supposed to be stored in the future Third Temple.
There is a reason Lord Rothschild faked his death as now chilling in an underground mountain bunker in New Zealand.
Of all you typed, what caught my attention is Lord Rothschild! Which of the Rothschild faked his death?
Bardo: Igbo politicians don’t understand that most Nigerians are low vibrational people. The national average iq is almost mental retardation. Using stats and numbers wouldn’t move people. You have to use the tribal card and other low level/emotional things that majority of Nigerians understand. This is what APC uses and it has worked.
Sad that poor countries like Nigeria will only get poorer because good isn’t rewarded
I'm certain when you typed this you were convinced you are versed in politics but I can assure you, your post oozed off, ignorance on Nigeria political schemes. I'd like you to study the political climate of Nigeria to understand the power of alliance.
budaatum: In order to subsidise to feed you, government will buy cheap from farmers, who will then find it unprofitable to plant food so food gets imported at inflated prices.
Trust me. You are worth far more than 30k a month or you at least ought to be.
I beg to differ, government does not necessarily need to buy at cheap rate from farmers except if government had made available subsidized fertilizer, agro chemical and seeds that will enhance productivity. On the long run both the farmers and government gains.
Chimarto: You're stopping foreign missions from transacting in dollar and ordered your own foreign mission abroad to transact in naira violating the host country's policy? Our leaders have sense but they don't have wisdom.
Did you read to understand the context? Because it's clearly stated, "The EFCC has also mandated Nigerian foreign missions domiciled abroad to accept Naira in their financial businesses" . To accept Naira does not necessarily mean the legal tender of the home countries will be rejected but to accept Naira if it is presented which will most likely be from Nigerians.
AlphaNugget: The 6 month notice is what one will tag as "over wiseness".
The 6 months' notice actually covers his rent period which is only accepted by people that doesn't know their rights, the notice should start from the expiration of his rent and not in between his rent.
I believe you are the one who doesn't have an understanding of the law especially if it's within the jurisdiction of Lagos State Tenancy Law. You may read the section over again. Better still, you may get a lawyer to interpret the section to you.
Almost all the comment on this topic reveal how ignorant most are on issues pertaining to law. A defamation of character case necessarily may not lead to jail term but fine.
You can see the smoke and screen?
Did you read what you wrote? I'm certain you have no knowledge of Economics! Why don't you do research than display ignorance?
[i]Misplaced priority . Did Israel stop anyone from existing.
I send a warning and admonishment to Nigerian leadership to desist from entangling themselves in the matter of division of GOD'S Land. You will Collaspe the already collapsing Nation
If you are indeed righteous as your name suggest, you wouldn't call Nigeria, "already collapsing nation". I can sense your double standard! Didn't the Bible say, pray for the peace of Jerusalem? Where is your Jerusalem?
slaawomirr: Damnnn niggar Quick recovery to them He dey match the benz Road clear after enough shayoo and alcohol 🍸 for club He begin match the benz with He baby girl dey come house around 5am And girls na them like front of benz
Speed can sweet sometimes..na that aduwawa road me for dey practice my own fast and Furious all the time with my lesux es 350
Ogbeni shut up and we should talk intelligently most times not like one archaic and primitive beings. I won't be surprise that you are even a graduate look at what you believe and even broadcasting it Just make your research on top ten countries that are spiritual and prayerful
Then also do a research on top ten countries that doesn't pray, they don't give a fuckkk about God and are not into spiritual
You will be shocked that those countries that pray are backwards and not progressing
Everyone should please do this research...what is wrong with Africans You guys are becoming disgusting
Your last three paragraphs show how biased you are. While the one you were trying to correct may hold an erroneous opinion, you're not any better! Which countries were you referring to? The US? Whose motto is in God we trust? Great Britain, whose slogan is, God save the king? Mention the state in the world that is not religious.
victooman: Since l was born, since l got to know my father it has been one complain to the other.. There was never anytime he have money or have the financial strength to Carry out any family responsibility . After struggling to finish University with no any job l started Pos business were l am managing myself,, the constant demand is killing my business .. Today my mother called me that my sister is about to be enrolled into secondary school and the total amount for registration is 25k, l called my dad and told him that l will try raising 15k and they should complete the remaining 10k, he started complaining on how he doesn't have money and haven't eaten since yesterday,, in fact l am tired dear Nairalanders,
While I think I understand your plight, I think you have erred in referring to your father as irresponsible. From your write up, you have an idea of what life entails. He may be lacking in his responsibility or may not measure up to what you believe a father should be, yet it's not in your place to label him such. The elders have a saying, "a child who says his father isn't successful, he is also on the path of fatherhood". My advice to you would be to do the best you can when you can.
You omitted a vital point: always drive at a safe speed. Using the hand brake and taking off your feet in an automatic will only be helpful if you were traveling at a safe speed.
I think it's unfair and unprofessional to interpret a statement out of context. I was privy to hear Pastor E. A. Adeboye and it was definitely not a prediction.
wittywriter: The coups reflects the leadership mess in such countries where democracy is no longer by the people & for the people.
Did my post state so....?
Wittyness
While your submission is premised on fact, the truth is, the military heads of those countries are as power drunk as the political leaders they usurped. Is there any nation in the world where there is no leadership mess?
I’m gonna wait to confirm that this is not fake news.
But in the meantime, if it’s true, then congratulations to Tinubu, ECOWAS and their brainless warmongers. They now have more countries to invade.
After invading Niger, they will invade Gabon. Or are they going to invade Niger without invading Gabon? They have to mad not to.
I’m so happy right now, if this news is true. Because I’m sure ECOWAS was already waiting to congratulate President Bongo for winning Third Time in a “free and fair” election even though the report of the Gabonese Electoral Umpire shutting down their Electronic Infrastructure, like INEC did, and even removing names of opponents from ballot papers has been everywhere.
Another reason I like this is that the PEPT will see what is happening in other countries because of disputed election. People are waiting on them to do justice, failure of which no one knows what the outcome will be.
Democracy is fast becoming unpopular in Africa and it’s because of poor Electoral management. The situation where votes no longer reflect the wishes of the majority of the voters, their will be disenchantment with the people seeking alternative way out.
If a coup happens in Nigeria today, Nigerians will celebrate it because we didn’t vote for the idiot in power.
If the PEPT likes, let it insult Nigerians like INEC did, let’s see what the outcome will be.
I'm appalled at your understanding of international politics. Firstly, it's within the charter of ECOWAS to ensure peace at all cost within her region. Secondly, even if most of the political administration of the nations within the region are toppled, it will have no ripple effect on the outcome of the tribunal. Thirdly, to anticipate coup in Nigeria is beyond comprehension! Conclusively, regardless of anyone's alignment when it comes to who gets what in Nigeria politics, Nigeria remain our nation and it's on us to project her image positively.
How will this influence the judgement? The judiciary relies on evidence and not all evidence have effect on any matter of contest. Prove your case beyond reasonable doubt and the judgement is in your favour! In my opinion, anyone expecting the judiciary to rule against a sitting president is like someone hoping a cow will pass through the eye of a needle.
Most Nigerians don't understand the politics behind the removal of subsidy on PMS. Some even said it was Peter Obi's idea! Isn't that hilarious? Technically, it wasn't even President Tinubu who removed it. The budgetary allocation for subsidy ended in June 2023. Be that as it may, I would only give this administration commendation if they are able to reposition at least two of the nation's refineries to optimal performance. Temporal subsidizing to ease the current hardship would only make sense if the refineries are worked on.
001Lagos: The economy is trapped and you want to use the money realised from subsidy removal to fund senseless and most stupid war
Are you not mad?
You seem not to understand how international relations work, do you? Nigeria at independence adopted Africa as the center piece of her foreign policy, this explains Nigeria's in Apartheid South Africa, the civil war in Sierra Leone. More also, Niger is within the regional bloc headed by Nigeria. Though I do not subscribe to the idea of military intervention in Niger due to several reasons, if it becomes necessary, it will be gross ignorant for anyone to conclude that Nigeria is at war with Niger. And do not forget that though Nigeria is the biggest country among the members of the regional bloc, ECOWAS has a purse which all members contribute to and will most likely get support from the West.
Ikaeniyan0: Shettima is right. Cars on the street of Lagos have reduce. You can drive from ipaja to Oshodi, oshodi to Victoria island, in less than 50 minute since the subsidy removal. It was not possible before the removal of subsidy.
That's not exactly the point. Subsidy removal will reduce carbon dioxide emissions because more eco friendly vehicles will be introduced in considerable period of time. Some states have taken the initiative to introduce electric vehicles, more will introduce vehicles that operate through CNG and LNG.
I think President Tinubu would be one of the best Nigeria has ever had. Though the previous administration failed to put measures in place to cushion the effects of the eventual removal of fuel subsidy, he quickly rose up to the challenge by dialoguing with Labour leaders not setting up one unnecessary committee, for that he deserves commendation.
Time shall however tell if he will prove right or wrong the first sentence in this submission.
