I knew the Visa Officer would dare not disobey my God! I just got my Undergraduate Visa approved at the Lagos consulate office. All glory to Jesus.... Cruising home now with my brother, experience coming soon! Imperiouxx Bro, over to You!!! |
RedReact: Then I fifthonded itMake Me sef join the train jare... . Sixthed!!! ![]() |
fittty: Exactly!!!. Fidelia should blame the bank. No one sends the US embassy a bank statement if they didn't request for it. Besides the interview is just for a few minutes. Which VO has the time to check for a mailed statement of account. The applicant should have it with him during the interviewMy thoughts exactly... |
spazio: i am reading Sports ManagementOok, I personally dunno much about your course of study. Try and check through your school's website, sure you'll find tons of info there... |
obsy2020: @ olarwarlay, can I av ur pin?Send Me a pm |
spazio: Hello NailandersAbout your 1st question, the best place to get the full and correct information about the duration of your course is your school's website. You even forgot to mention your course, who knows, the house might know the duration. Your second question, though the rule says You have to show a statement covering your 1st year, the house always advices prospectives to have more than the 1st year fee on the statement of account. (Preferably money covering 2 yrs) It convinces the VO the more that You are capable... Cheers! |
theHanafis: House I'm planning to take my TOEFL test by mid August probably 10th August though I haven't register yet cos I have few questions to ask.please house do I have to get my international passport for the registration or I don't really have to get it for d registration process.am asking dis quetn because som1 told me that I don't necessarily need it for d reg. That when ever the passport is ready I can update my profile before my test date?pls need ur kind repliesYou'll need it during registration and also for admittance into the test hall. So, I think You should just get it once and for all to avoid any delay. Cheers!!! |
It was the photocopy of the original stamped and signed statement.
Ooh, You mean you gave the VO the photocopy of the original statement of account?. Your uncle's account officer didn't try for you then, the last time I printed my brother's statement of account, the bank didn't even ask Me any stupid question or tell Me any rubbish. Your uncle shouldn't have even told them what He needed it for, it's none of their business. Their own is to charge for the printing of the statement and issue it out. What's their business with sending the statement of account to the embassy?, Who send them message?. Ptcheeeeew..... Don't worry, You'll get it next time. |
Congrats @ Odowetalu & Pawn.... I knew You'd get it. |
My Visa was denied today at abuja. The interview went like this; VO: goodmorning ME: good morning sir VO: you are going to wiu for ur masters degree? ME: yes sir VO:did u write any standardize test? ME: yesI did, I did toefl and gre Vo: let me see the gre Me:I showed him. Though the result is low, I just handed it over to him. So he check and returned it bck to me Vo: so your uncle his sponsoring you? Me: yes sir Vo: what is the assurance that ur uncle can sponsor you. Me: he sponsored my undergarduate program and he has a good job now Vo: how much does ur undergraduate cost? Me: close to 2million naira Vo: what does he do Me: he is a petroleum engineer Vo: can I have his stmt of acct? Me: I gave him.( It was a scanned copy I told u abt tht I said the bank said they will send the original to the embassy Vo: he typed on his system for a very long time and said sorry bla bla.
I do not think your delay had anything to do with the statement of account. Stanbic ibtc doesn't use a coloured sheet when printing out the statement. It wasn't just your day today, pray hard and go get it next time. |
pawn89: Alright! So I got my visa approved today, I thank God almighty. I shall put details as soon as possible.Congratulations.... The Lord is good! |
I pray for y'all going for your interview today, You shall come out of the consulate office smiling in Jesus name. You have the grace and mercy of God which surpasseth all things. You are favored beyond denial in the mighty name of Jesus. If You see this before facing the VO, remember to read Isaiah 50:4-10, come back here to share your testimonies. It is well with your soul!!! |

Please how and where do I print out the Sevis fee receipt?I posted this some pages back, but here it is for your convenience.... " To print your SEVIS receipt online after payment, go to https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/dhs/loadSearchPage.do and enter some of the details You filled in your SEVIS form (i.e I-20 number {which also doubles as your SEVIS number}, Surname and date of birth)" How come you have not paid your Sevis since, when is your school resuming?. |
fnykl: Hi House. You mentioned Canada in your initial post, I remember someone answered You already but let Me do again. This is the USA student thread, We do not have or share info about Canadian universities here. Search for the Canadian student thread in the travel section, they'll be in a better position to give You every needed info. Cheers! |

risher ris: IM A LADY.....LOLMy bad.... Post's been edited! ![]() |
risher ris: NA CONCORD O......BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT SINCE YESTERDAY IN THE AFTERNOON TILL NOW.I HAVE CHECKED SEVERALLY BUT IT IS CURRENTLY DISPLAYING NO DATES FOR ABUJA.PLS HELP!The only magic as to getting a date is to keep checking, also make sure you call the embassy careline from time to time to confirm because i remember someone Check very early in the morning and later at night. Be sure to reserve at least 1 out of the 5 trials in case someone drops info about available dates on the thread. Wish you luck in your hunt... |
GboyegaD: I think you are holding information as such, I don't think you really need the help you feel you deserve. More so, I think you feel you know so much and no one can write anything except what it is you want to read. I may be biased in my thinking as this is just an opinion. risher ris: so what do you think is going to happen?but i dont think thats the point.....are you trying to tell me others that has been issued visas did not play visa lottery at all?pls help....I think Gboyega might be right to some extent... My sister , let me say this again YOU NEED TO HELP THE GURUS TO HELP YOU OUT OF YOUR DENIALS... |
risher ris: Are you talking about visa lottery?yes.but but can that be a reason?that was some year back though and for real that's my mothers oCcupation.she make diesel delivery she has so many deliv ery thanker and maintains mostly telecommunications site by spplying diesel.I'm going to be studying biology.thanksI think You are still missing out a very vital question. Your school's name. It's better You just give every detail so as to get the help needed. Mentioning your school shouldn't affect You in any way I guess. This thread is full of kind hearted gurus that could help solve your denial problems only if You help them understand the whole scenario. My 2 cents! |
