DanasabeZaki:Thanks for this input and that's exactly my point. You have to understand the whole idea of the work before you can know which one you can focus on to get the results you desire. But someone who doesn't understand how to use the resources is already thinking about working smart* Now that's wrong |
There's this advice that.. "Work smart and not hard". That is very misleading....especially when you're just starting out in learning a business or skill. Why's that? Because you're just starting out. There's so much you don't know and if you don't want to be blown away by the top guns... You should work hard to learn what you need to know. After you've understand those.. you can now 'WORK SMART' by outsourcing some activities. That's how you become a TOP GUN in your field. What are your thoughts on this too? I'd love to hear from you #learningtips #onlinebusiness |
Wow! Just look at the replies and you'd see bad this country has gotten. I've worked in two factories...both by foreign People (Lebanese and Indian) The Indian was a fish farm. But you know the shocking part about these factory works... Most times...it's not the foreigners that are the harsh ones.. It's the Nigerian supervisors that overdo these things. Imagine a Nigerian supervisor telling us to enter the fish pond during harmattan despite us begging for a hot water or tea. He insisted we enter the water. We made the complaints to the manager of the farm (Indian) and he immediately ordered for hot tea to be prepared. He was even commending us working during the harmattan. My advice is... Just focus on your goal there..and make sure you do necessary calculations before you apply for the job. Like transport fare...food...and most importantly... The amount you'll be left with after paying your bills. Because that's the whole point of working...right?? |
DevilsEqual:Lol... Nigerians like you ![]() |

shilenji:Lol... You'll be surprised ![]() Thanks for contributing. I really appreciate it |
When presented with a new business opportunity...which do you prefer and why? 1. Learn how to Do It Yourself ( DIY) ...or 2. Done for you already (DFY).... I'll be waiting for your opinions |
Both of you are actually right... The right preparation + the right opportunity = Success. But here's the thing. The actual journey to Success starts from believing you can achieve success and start taking actions towards it no matter where you current situation is. The opportunities are massive and plenty these days.... especially with the intervention of the internet. So believing and taking actions is the first...then maintaining self discipline to stay on track and not give up until you achieve your goal. As Napoleon Hill said.. "The keys to Success is Belief and a burning Desire". The opportunities are already available..even though I'm different forms but the basic remains the same. I don't know if this has been helpful to you |

Have you ever been in doubt of yourself? Thinking you're not good enough? I've got good news for you.. You only need to be ONE step AHEAD for you to share your ideas. Let me tell you a story... Once upon a time... There was a man - a con artist - who has assumed the identities of different people in different occupations to scam people. He has gone from being a doctor...to an airplane attendant...and so many things... ..and lastly.. until he was finally caught...a Professor. You're probably like "hahaaa....this same man?" lol Yes.... that's how good he was in the game. In his last stunt...he was a Professor of Advanced Psychology and taught a whole semester without being caught and no complaints whatsoever from the students. Sounds crazy right...? Yes...it is. When the authorities finally caught him as they've been after him for his previous stunts...they asked: "How did you teach a WHOLE semester of Advanced Psychology without knowing anything about the subject before?" The same question is probably on your mind too. Guess what his answer was... it's not what you're thinking....I can tell you that. He simply replied: "Oh! it was easy. I just had to read ONE CHAPTER ahead of the students". Shocking....right? And that is the secret to personal and business growth. Most times....we often feel the need to be perfect before we start going public about ourselves and our business...or to teach people what we know. I used to think like that also but that changed when I heard this story from Russel Brunson. YOU ONLY NEED TO BE ONE STEP AHEAD for you to share your ideas. Whatever you know....there is someone who doesn't know it and needs it so badly. ..and is just waiting for you to say it for his/her life to change. So start NOW! Start imperfect and find your VOICE. The world is waiting for you. Hope this has been helpful? let me know in the comments. #selfdevelopment #growth |
This is no doubt the best article I've come across on this platform. Thank youuuuuuuuuu so much for this. All are practicable applications. Thanks again. |

Isokoboy:Loooll... Be calming down. |
Hattbricker:Lol... because they will milk you like hell and still pay you crumbles. Working 9-5 in Nigeria is one of the biggest scams in the working sector. |
Bluezy13:Awesome. I can guide you through in any of them. Let's connect. You can reach me via email |
Mizahn:I know right....?? I don't know why most people are attacking it. It's a really nice suggestion |
First of all... I must admit...this is a really creditable post. Thanks for sharing. 2nd... To those who are saying 'its for those earning 500k and above per month band not for 20k People'... This is where the 'planning and budgeting' he's suggesting comes in place. Plan your expenses within the 20k...and try as much to save even if it's just 2k per month. If you set your mind to it...you will see that it's actually achievable. Of course it's hard to save with the current hike in prices of goods... And this is where your savings comes to help you. Even you've been saving 2k per month already...it will definitely come in handy. But if you're someone who spends all the 20k...you see say that one na double wahala. And also...the best advice there is to invest your savings or part of your salary into something that can bring you extra income. Relying only on your salary as a source of income is not the way. This is coming from a Nigerian to Nigerian.. It's not. Look for Businesses you can do as a side hustle while still doing your Normal day to day job. And with the aid of the internet...there are plenty one can do. Affiliate Marketing Freelancing Information Publishing Amazon KDP - Publishing books on Amazon to sell. I'm into Affiliate Marketing and I started with a month's salary. It's gone one to provide me a really good source of income alongside my salary job. It's just an advice tho... No need to attack it. Take it or leave it. But I'm sure investing part of your money into something Profitable and reliable is something everyone should do. ..and of course... Self Investment is the best kind of investment. Not oil or agro investment...you're more likely to fall for scammers there. But invest in yourself to learn a business or a skill is one thing you can never regret as long as you commit to Learning it. Peace....!! |
The opportunities to make a good living Online these days are just endless and open to anyone.. I mean... anyone. Affiliate Marketing Copywriting Freelancing Amazon KDP Information Publishing ...and so on. Just pick one..master it.. monetize it by selling your services or skills. It's a clean way to make money while still in school or to go along with your daily jobs. |

Being born into this world as a human...it's struggle everyday. Now as a Nigerian..the struggle is x50. In fact...it's x100 self. You see these our so called government and people in high places and positions of power ehnn... They don't care about us. They'll keep juicing out the poor and try collecting the little things we're still managing. ASUU keep going on strikes... No jobs for graduates.. Polytechnics are increasing their school fees. The Education system of Nigeria isn't just what it should be. If it's not wickedness.. How can you increase the school fees by about 40%?? In this current economic situation of Nigeria. I thought I had seen it all until I heard a lady talking about being asked to pay 250k as school fees I was shocked. From an average Nigerian ooo.. She said she doesn't even know how to tell her parents because they're already struggling to cope with her bills before the increment. And the thing is... They don't care. It's either you pay or you drop out. Want to know the truth...? NO ONE IS COMING TO HELP YOU UNLESS YOU HELP YOURSELF. The sooner you get and make peace with this...the better. Doesn't matter whether you're a student or you already have a job. You need to figure out a way to increase your source of income. Whether Online or Offline... As long as it's guaranteed to pay good returns and it's a legit opportunity.. You should grab on to it. If you keep waiting for the government or some rich man to come to your aid.. Na you dey whine yourself pass ooo. You have access to informations and opportunities your parents..my parents never had. Don't you think you should make the most of it?? |
