He needs to be examined for likely substance abuse or dementia . Why would a leader be in "dreamland" for a whole week only to get up from his slumber talking gibberish? |
That is a typical African leader for you. They prefer to die in office to protect themselves from being exposed! |

Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has rejected the result of the election which saw him deposed as leader by a former Argos security guard a few weeks ago. In an announcement on state TV, he said the electoral process had suffered "unacceptable abnormalities" and he called for a fresh vote after initially accepting the result. "In the same way that I accepted the results faithfully believing that the Independent Electoral Commission was independent and honest and reliable, I hereby reject the results in totality," he said in a statement broadcast on state television. I recommend fresh and transparent elections which will be officiated by a god-fearing and independent electoral commission. President Yahya Jammeh "Let me repeat: I will not accept the results based on what has happened," he said, condemning "unacceptable errors" on the part of electoral authorities and calling for a new vote. Mr Jammeh pointed to an accounting error, identified by the IEC, which awarded victory to his opponent Adama Barrow but with a slimmer margin than initially announced. Mr Jammeh claimed "investigations" had revealed that numerous voters had not been able to cast their ballots. "This is the most dubious election we ever had in the history of this country," he said. "We will go back to the polls because I want to make sure every Gambian votes under an electoral commission that is impartial, independent, neutral and free from foreign influence," he said, adding that he would not tolerate any street protests over his decision. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/12/10/gambian-president-yahya-jammeh-rejects-election-result-saw-deposed/ |
The Lagos State Government on Thursday said it was ready to roll out Lake Rice on Dec. 15 to Lagosians at N13,000 per 50 kg towards the Yuletide celebrations. Mr Sanni Okanlawan, Special Adviser on Food Security to Gov. Akinwumi Ambode, made the disclosure in Lagos during the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) National Agriculture Stakeholders Summit. Okanlawan said that sales of the rice would be made at all the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state to ensure proper distribution. “Lake Rice is the acronym of both Lagos and Kebbi States joint product which will be out to the public on Dec. 15 at the rate of N13,000 per 50kg bag as it is already subsidised by the government. “To make it more available, the rice will be sold at the 57 LGAs and LCDAs for easy accessibility and to guard against unwanted persons diverting the product. “The state government has put in place a committee that will ensure that Lagosians have the best Christmas celebration, that is why we are offering the wholesome and well packaged rice,’’ Okanlawan said. The special adviser also said that the state had established a Department of Agribusiness, an Agriculture Trust Fund and Commodity Exchange Market to be set up soon. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the government’s efforts were in alignment with the Federal Government’s diversification drive from a mono-economy to agriculture. before you know it, there will be clashes between them and the police or even the military, harassments here and there of civilians. I'm of the opinion that there's no reason to arm them, they should only be concerned about the safety of cars and individuals on the road. not always looking out for those with or without their sit belts on |
If a whole governor couldn't care with road traffic law of using a safety helmet while riding on a motorcycle, how will you expect the citizens to be law abiding. What's more worrisome that the media didn't see anything wrong with this. The title of this piece of news should have been Governor Fayose breaks traffic law, rides without helmet. |

The wedding ceremony of Zahra, daughter of Nigeria’s president Buhari to son of billionaire businessman, Mohammed Indimi, scheduled for December 4, 2016, has been put on hold indefinitely, Daily Correspondents can authoritatively reveal. The postponement, Daily Correspondents learned, was on the insistence of President Muhammadu Buhari, who, according to a source close to the two families, was uncomfortable with the attention his daughter’s wedding has received in the media, particularly with news of customised wedding boxes as gifts to Zahra costing a whopping N44m. An introduction ceremony between both families had earlier held at the Aso Villa, Abuja on Friday, November 18, but the wedding programme itself scheduled between Wednesday 30th November and Sunday 4th December, 2016, is supposed to be on a low-key celebration as the President desires it to be a simple and an intimate ceremony to be attended by only close family and friends. “But the whole media attention has changed everything now and the President is not happy,” our source said. Aside that, it was also gathered that the President who has ordered that a security check be conducted on Ahmed and his source of stupendous wealth, is also not comfortable with the groom’s father, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi’s perceived closeness to ex-President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, IBB. Former President Ibrahim Babangida is believed to be a long time godfather of billionaire Mohammed Indimi, more so the former President was against the emergence of Buhari in 2015. Our source further said President Buhari who had such information at his disposal before consenting to the marriage may have been prevailed upon by his closest political allies to have a rethink on giving out his daughter to the Indimis. Zahra, the 21-year-old daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari has been in the news recently following circulation on the social media of images of her expensive wedding gifts. She is reported to have received about 30 customized LV (Louis Vuitton) boxes from the family of her husband-to-be, Ahmed Indimi. The LV boxes have Zahra’s name customized as ZBI (Zara Buhari Indimi). The LV bags which total about 30 and allegedly cost about £120, 000 (approximately N47,144,502, using the official rate of N392.87 to a pound) are said to have been delivered to Zahra in 30 exotic cars, according to reports. In Northern Nigeria tradition, the groom’s family is expected to buy the boxes known as “kayan lefe” for the bride. The boxes are usually loaded with diamond and gold jewelry, designer shoes, bags, super wax, laces, perfumes, designer underwear, cosmetics, jeans, tops and more. The man can do from 1 to 50 boxes as a show of how rich and capable he is. It is however “very unlikely that President Buhari may give his go ahead for the wedding in the near future,” our source concluded. http://www.dailycorrespondents.com/2016/11/exclusive-buhari-disappoints-billionaire-indimi-cancel-zahras-wedding-2/ |

The photos have been making the rounds on social media for sometime now. It’s just been revealed that the man in the photo is a politician in Kenya. According to reports, the man is Hon Kahindi Geoffrey Muhambi who is a Ward representative of Kilifi North Constituency. Facebook user, Calos Arap Sung who shared the photos wrote “As Kilifi county is grappling with the loss of county funds to a tune of 51 milions, Mnarani MCA, Hon Kahindi Geoffrey Muhambi was busy using the same money doing what he does best” While some people believe the photos were photo-shopped, others said the Honorable is very popular in the county for his randy behaviour. http://dailytimes.ng/say-kenyan-prominent-politician-pictured-grabbing-naked-woman-stream/ |
