Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has revealed the reason why she parted ways with her politician husband, Falegan Opeyemi David.

On Wednesday evening, Falegan had taken to his Instagram live to reveal that he was no longer married to the actress. According to reports, the marriage crashed over infidelity allegations.

He went further to say that he didn’t want to be associated with anything that would spoil the good name he has worked for and he wants to be known as someone who has added value to people.

In reaction to the news, Nkechi also took to her Instagram live to speak on the reasons why they parted ways.

The actress debunked the rumour her estranged husband built her a bungalow. She revealed that it was the money she had gotten from her social media influencing jobs that was used to build the house.

In a series of posts via her Instagram stories, the actress stated that she could not continue in the union based on what people would say so she opted out of the marriage.

She further made several allegations against her estranged husband via her Instagram Live.

However, Nkechi, in a series of videos that have gone viral on social media, said she has a large family and can’t be using the little money she makes to feed a grown-up man.

The actress also made a mockery of her now former lover’s bedroom skills as she said he was neither giving her money nor satisfying her well in bed.

On 10 June 2021, Nkechi Blessing, confirmed her marriage between her, and the Ekiti politician, Falegan Opeyemi David after she shared photos from their wedding on his birthday via her Instagram Story.

Boko Haram terrorists have released a video of the now released Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture (BoA), Alwan Ali-Hassan, in their custody.

Ali-Hassan was abducted during the attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28. On Wednesday, he was released to members of his family.

In the now released video, the terrorists said they released by the BoA boss because he is old and also because this is the Ramadan season. The terrorists said the government knows what they want and should do their bidding otherwise they would turn their kidnap camp into an abbatoir. Over 140 passengers on the train are yet to be accounted for.

“We are the ones who abducted these people at the train. We decided to release this man because of the honour of the month of Ramadan and he is old. He has been pleading since we abducted him. The government should know that the train attack is just a little of what we can do. We would let this captive about to be released to speak, if he has something to say”

Ali-Hassan was allowed to speak and he said

“I was allowed to go because of my age. But I have left several abductees behind. The FG need to look for the leaders of this group to negotiate the release of the other captives..Their situation is bad and the are I dare need of assistance”

The terrorists then spoke saying

We don’t need your money.. you need to come and speak with us quickly, or we would turn their camp into an abattoir. Killing them is nothing to us”

There was a commotion at the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Onikoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State, when a Deacon, Francis Ogunnusi, reportedly slumped and died while preaching during the service.

Our correspondent gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday when Ogunnusi was preaching against the ‘get-rich-quick’ syndrome.

There have been worrying cases of ritual killings in Ogun State and other parts of the country. No less than three cases of killings for money rituals were recorded in different parts of the state last month.

A viral video sighted by our correspondent showed the deacon alongside an interpreter, warning against the rising cases of money rituals.

Ogunnusi was also said to be the Baale of Onikoko, a community near the Panseke area in Abeokuta metropolis.

The church was thrown into confusion when the deacon suddenly slumped with a microphone in his hand.

Delivering his sermon in Yoruba, Ogunnusi said, “The money you make through unlawful means, killing people, sucking human blood; when death comes, it will belong to another person.”

However, when the interpreter was still trying to present the words in the English language, the man slumped and threw the church into a commotion.

He was reportedly rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, where he was pronounced dead.



A congregant said, “The man was not the pastor of that church, he was just an elder. He was the Baale of Onikoko. But he was the one that delivered the sermon on Sunday.

“He was talking about death and people who make money by killing other people. All of a sudden, he collapsed. He was rushed to the FMC, but he died. We don’t know what happened. I was very scared. Everything was disrupted. We just shared the grace and went home.”

The source could not confirm whether the deceased was battling any health challenges.

It was gathered that the lifeless body of Ogunnusi had been deposited in the mortuary.

It is no longer news that Nuru Khalid, chief Imam of Apo legislative quarters Juma’at mosque, has been suspended for “anti-government” preachings.

Khalid had, in his Jummat sermon, flayed the government for its inadequacy in dealing with the country’s security situation, amid several attacks by non-state actors.

The cleric then called on the electorate not to vote for any politician who cannot guarantee the safety of lives and properties.

Nigeria fans stormed the pitch after their country’s failure to make the 2022 World Cup – tearing down dugouts and clashing with police.

Tear gas was deployed by the authorities at Abuja National Stadium on Tuesday night after the final whistle prompted an angry pitch invasion.

Clips uploaded onto social media showed fans rushing out of the stands and pushing over dugouts and advertising boards, before being corralled away by police.

Some 20,000 tickets had been given out for free to encourage a significant home support for the play-off tie.

After a goalless first leg in Ghana, the Joloff Derby was decided by Thomas Partey’s early strike, with help from an error by Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

William Troost-Ekong’s penalty drew Nigeria level on the night but the Black Stars saw out their away-goal advantage to qualify, having missed out on the World Cup in Russia four years ago.

A suspected interstate ritualist and kidnapper has been apprehended arrested and confessed to his heinous crimes. In his confession, he said he comes from Ibadan to Lagos to steal children for money rituals

In a viral video, the suspect, (Kayode Olafisoye) said he and his accomplice who is currently on the run, have stolen so many children from the Berger, Iyana Ipaja, Ikotun, Iyana Oba areas of the state.

Dayo Israel has been declared the National Youth leader of APC in the just concluded of 2022 APC National Convention. He emerged not in a keenly contested election but in a consensus arrangement that has raised more controversy than peace the party wanted to achieve.

Abike Dada, wife of ousted Youth Leader aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Oluwasegun Dada, has alleged that Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu threatened her husband before he withdrew from the contest. Abule Dada and Dayo Israel were the two leading contestants from Lagos vying for the post.

However, Mr Dada was pressured by the powers to be to withdraw for Israel in the name of consensus arraignment. He tearfully backed down and withdrew his candidacy paving way for the consensus candidate, Dayo Israel.

A Twitter user @lollylary1 had tweeted that Mr Sanwo-Olu appealed to Mr Dada to drop out of the race but Mrs Dada quoted the tweet with “and threatened”.

How Naira rain caused fight between Ondo, Ekiti Obas
Reports have emerged that the recent visit of presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, to the National Assembly, left disappointment and sour taste in the mouths of some of the legislators.
Tinubu recently paid a ‘plea’ visit to the All Progress Congress, APC, lawmakers in support for his presidential bid.

Those who expected that the Asiwaju Tinubu’s presidential campaign would be an unrelenting distribution of raw cash along the way, may not be wrong after all. But don’t tell that to the members of the ruling APC caucus who received the former Lagos State Governor.

Two days ago, Wednesday March 16, 2022, the All Progressives Congress caucus in the House of Representatives received the former Governor but now they could be heard expressing disappointment that what they were given as “kolanut” for the meeting was disappointing.
Some members of the National Assembly who confirmed this to Quest Times said “most members expected at least $10,000 each, so there is some sense of disappointment that Reps got only $2,000 and Senators got only $3,000.”

A member who was disgusted by the whole thing said “the shameless way some of the NASS members especially Representatives were complaining that they expected more from Asiwaju is so bad, coming from elected representatives of the Nigerian people.”

Media reports had relayed that Tinubu visited the National Assembly to address the APC caucus in the Senate and House, and got a voice endorsement during the House of Representatives meeting.
The meeting with the Senators didn’t have such a ringing endorsement however, but some of the members may have been attracted to the meeting and joined the “voice endorsement” in the hope for at least $10k.

“But now, some of them are feeling short-changed, even though they collected their portions of the medium dollar rain.”

This is not the first time that a consultation meeting by Asiwaju and the attendant sharing of cash will leave behind it sour tales. It happened not too long ago when the former governor visited traditional rulers in Ekiti and Ondo states not too long ago.
How Tinubu’s Naira rain tears apart Ondo Monarchs
In Ondo State specifically, the cash left behind “a wide gulf between the minority Class A kings and the majority 130 Crowns in the Sunshine State, who belong to the B and C grades.”

According to a journalist from the state; “the Presidential aspirant and former Governor of Lagos State famous for keeping cash in bullion vans, Tinubu brought sacks of Naira as homage to the royal fathers in their domains.
His entourage’s first port of call was Ondo South Senatorial District, where they met the Obas at an Events Centre in Okitipupa.

After exchanging pleasantries and declaring his intention to contest the 2023 Presidential Election, Tinubu’s aides were said to have rolled in millions of Naira notes stacked in Ghana-Must-Go bags, for the kings to share.

N30m was allocated to each of the three senatorial political zones.

Whereas things went according to plan under the supervision of HRM Olugbo in the South, what obtained in Central and North Senatorial Districts were outright row and chaos. A cold war indeed!

In Akure, 18 Monarchs met Tinubu in the Palace of the Deji of Akure, but only 3 of them are Grade A while 15 are in B and C categories.

Surprisingly, we learnt from insiders that only a meagre N5m was doled out to the 15 rulers to share while the chunk was kept by the few three senior monarchs.

To worsen the situation, no information on the actual largesse was given to the second class Obas.

Rage then set in and the N5m offered, by a popular politician in Ondo State, was reportedly dumped at the doorstep of the Paramount ruler of Akure land, the Deji.

The protesting royals were said to have staged a walk out without collecting the money.

A similar ugly incident transpired in the North Senatorial District meeting held in Owo, where monarchs converged on the Palace of the new Olowo of Owo.

The 7 Grade A Obas present were said to have outsmarted the 26 B and C kings, who were blocked from knowing what transpired between the August Visitor and the royals.

At the end of the day, after Team Tinubu had left, a paltry sum of N5.7m was dished out by the Coordinating Grade A Oba Olowo, to the 26 representatives of the lower cadre royals.

Having failed to disclose the total monetary gift from the Lagos frontline politician, anger got the best of the cheated Grade B and C Obas, who politely declined collecting their own ‘share’ of ‘Tinubu’s cake.’

Efforts were made to settle the matter equitably and fairly, in order to keep the issue off the public domain.

Lagos state government has closed down Eko Bridge indefinitely following a fire outbreak in Apongbon area of the state.

The fire which started around 3am on Wednesday March 23, damaged the bridge and also destroyed properties and goods worth millions of naira.

Recall that on Wednesday, a fire broke out at the Apongbon market, and it took hours to bring the situation under control.

The fire also affected a section of the bridge.

As a result of the development, the federal ministry of works had said integrity tests would be conducted by a team of engineers from the federal government and Lagos state.

The federal government has also given traders and squatters under bridges in Lagos till March 31 to vacate such areas.

The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said the fire started from the illegal structures and containers where flammable items were stored.

Osanyitolu also said a post-disaster assessment revealed the need for a thorough review of the location, including integrity tests of the bridge.

He said;

“This will be carried out with all stakeholders, including the Federal Ministry for Works, Lagos State Ministries of Works, Special Duties and the Environment; Lagos Fire Service, Federal Fire Service, National Emergency Management Agency and others.

“The occupants of the illegal structures have been issued a notice of 48 hours to remove same from the location to prevent any secondary incident.”

The Lagos government has now announced that bridge will remain closed pending the conclusion of the integrity test.

The statement read;

“TRAVEL ALERT: Eko Bridge has been shut indefinitely by the Lagos State Government due to a fire outbreak at Apongbon in the early hours of today.

“Bridge likely to remain closed until an integrity test is conducted. All are advised to factor development into their travel plans and consider security/safety in the selection of alternative routes.”

Alternative routes include the Ijora/Apapa area, the Leventis/UBA roundabout to connect Marina area, or the Ebute Ero axis to link Inner Marina and Third Mainland Bridge.

How did they construct and maintain this long-term enslavement structure?

Nigeria follows a strict democracy based on a set of laws known as the constitution. These laws and legislation are contained in a book known as the 1999 constitution, which serves as our democracy’s bible.

When General Abdulsalami Abubakar ceded control to Olusegun Obasnjo in 1999, he developed a false paper called the 1999 constitution. This forged paper has guided everyone from Obasanjo to Umaru Yar’adua, Goodluck Jonathan, and now Muhammdu Buhari. But, sadly, anything based on this paper is a forgery and will collapse. Our fourth republic was/is constructed on lies, and as a result, it can no longer survive, which is why there are crises all over the place.

The constitution was not drafted by Nigerians; rather, it was pushed down our throats by the military. Since the first coup attempt in 1966, the military has been defining our future in Nigeria. They’ve been deciding our fates for a long time. With the 1979 constitution, Olusegun Obasanjo’s military regime transferred over to Shehu Shagari, and the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari terminated the second republic on December 31st, 1983.

General Ibrahim Badamosi, who deposed Buhari in a palace military coup, then squandered billions of dollars on the third republic, which came to a sudden end with the annulment of the June 12 elections. When Abacha took power, he conceived and structured his transition plan so that he would be the single beneficiary. Abdusalami took over after he died abruptly in office.

This 1999 constitution is a modified and worse version of the 1979 constitution, which handed our elected President and governors far too many powers. To summarize, this is not a text written by average Nigerians. It’s a sham paper shoved down our throats, and we’ve accepted it without question.

So the question begs to be answered: when are we going to be free of this quasi-democracy with an imbedded military command structure?

Everything in Aso Rock, Abuja, is prescribed and determined. One man controls the fate of 350 distinct languages and a population of 200 million people, and he is not serious. Many political commentators have called for the National Assembly to change the constitution.

Do you appoint a thief as a judge in his case?

Members of the National Assembly are crooks and usurpers who are the result of a forged paper. They’ll never be able to make an objective decision. They will never be able to represent us in any way.

This contraption must be overturned, and the masses must smash it. The general public must understand that this is our war. The beneficiaries of this stolen mandate will never be able to fight for us. They’ll go to any length to deceive us. They’ll tell us that corruption is our issue. But, as I usually tell people, previous and present governments have fought corruption; how come it is still a problem in our society?

Because corruption is a symptom of an illness, it will not be diminished or stopped. The sickness is based on a skewed and fictitious structure, which is fueled by a fictitious 1999 constitution. We’re fighting the wrong battle.

We’ve been focusing on the symptoms rather than the disease.

Please consider this, Nigerians, and let us come to an understanding of the major challenge we have as a country. When will we be able to topple this slave structure now that we have this background information?

You, the Nigerian masses, must stand up and help themselves. We must torpedo this table where the elites are feasting on our backs, wining, dining, consuming, and popping champagne glasses. This slave mentality must be overthrown. Politicians are already out on the campaign trail, vying for our votes in the presidential and general elections of 2023. It will pass us by, but our weight will remain.

Are we prepared to make a difference, or will we let these rogue Nigerian politicians to interfere with our minds once more?

The video of former governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano is trending online now, he’s seen in the video drinking water.

The former governor was picked on March 17th, 2022 by the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC at the Murtala Muhammed airport in Lagos as he was planning to relocate abroad after handing over to his successor, Professor Charles Soludo.

The spokesman for EFCC Wilson Uwajaren confirmed his arrest and has been cooling his heels at the EFCC office. Obiano was alleged to be involved in laundering of about N42bn of public funds. The EFCC may approach the court to detain him more than the 48 hours stipulated by theNigerian constitution

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has offered a scathing rebuttal to threats issued by the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Philip Shaibu, over the widening schism in the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, between migrants of the APC led by Governor Godwin Obaseki and foundational members of the party led by Chief Dan Orbih.

At a Thursday rally staged by Governor Obaseki to welcome newly-elected PDP National Chairman, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, to Edo State, Mr. Philip Shaibu repeated a threat he issued at an earlier caucus meeting that unless the national organ of the party facilitates a controversial ‘harmonization’ process which would see migrants from the APC, including Shaibu himself, seize control of the PDP in Edo State, the party would risk losing their membership.

Speaking in his usual boastful and rash style, Mr. Shaibu ranted on for several minutes about plans by allies of the Governor to exit the party unless the national leadership wades into the crisis and ensures a resolution in their favor.

He disputed Obaseki’s assurances that he would not leave the party, saying that his resolve is conditioned on the continued membership of his “soldiers”, with no pushback from the Governor.

Displeased by the arrogance of the Deputy Governor and his “irresponsible” conduct, Governor Nyesom Wike fired back this weekend at an event. He expressed dismay at the actions of the Governor and his Deputy barely two years after the party rescued them from a humiliating defeat.

Governor Wike took particular umbrage at Mr. Shaibu’s comments, wondering how “an ordinary Deputy Governor” who lost his local government during the election could muster the temerity to threaten a party that has his likes as sitting Governors.

He said: “This the same Deputy Governor (and his boss) that they were kneeling down for us to give them the umbrella. Today he has the effrontery to threaten PDP. Such a shame.”

“These are the same people when they were denied ticket under APC, they were running helter-skelter, begging everybody to give them umbrella and we gave them umbrella; we went and made sure that they won that election, today that Deputy Governor is ranting.”

“A Deputy Governor will come out on national television to tell PDP there are alternatives. I have written to the National Chairman of the party, if they do not constitute a disciplinary committee against the Deputy Governor, I will invoke sections of the party and ensure that they must discipline that Deputy Governor.”

“This is the same person who lost his local government during the election. A Deputy Governor wearing khaki, look at him,” Wike mocked to roaring laughter from his audience.

“This is the first time I will see a Deputy Governor come out on television to threaten the party; who is his father? Now that he has started the trouble, let him wait. We will make sure he will never have rest,” he vowed.

Kemi Afolabi, a Nollywood actress, has opened up on her ‘incurable’ ailment, revealing that she was diagnosed with lupus.

In a recent interview with show host, Chude Jideonwo, published on Friday, the actress also disclosed that the doctor said she had five years to live.

According to her, she had lived just one year after the doctor’s pronouncement, as she tearfully noted that she didn’t know how much she had left.

Afolabi quoted her doctor as saying, “Make sure you are with your loved ones. At least, you still have up to five years.”

Talking about the sickness, she said, “I have lupus. It’s not curable. You just have to take medications for the rest of your life.”

She noted that she paid N1.2m on a treatment yet it did not work as she continually cried in pain.

Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, nicknamed MC Oluomo, has been rejected appointment as the Managing Director of the Lagos State Transportation Parks and Garages Management Committee by the Lagos State government.

This comes as one of the former Lagos NURTW council chairman’s kids, known on Instagram as King-westt, used the site to congratulate his father on his new position.

“Congratulations, boss, Alh. King Musillu Akinsanya Ayinde,” he wrote. The Lagos State Transportation, Parks, and Garages Management Committee is headed by the GM/MD. “Oye Amori OOOO” says the narrator.

When contacted, the Lagos State governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, he indicated the story was untrue and should be ignored.

He further stated that because MC Oluomo’s son does not work for the government, he is unable to speak on behalf of the government.

“MC Oluomo’s son does not work for the government and hence cannot be quoted as speaking for us on this topic,” Akosile added. There isn’t anything like it.”

Arrested BRT driver, Andrew Nice Omininikoron, has been filmed giving a statement that contradicts his previous statement about what happened to Oluwabamise Toyosi Ayanwole.

In a statement televised on Monday, March 7, Andrew had claimed that he picked up 22-year-old Bamise at Chevron Lekki then later picked up three other young men. He claimed the men showed him a weapon during the course of the journey and ordered him to park on Carter Bridge. They then got down, dragging Bamise with them. He said he was too afraid so couldn’t do much to help. He didn’t have a coherent answer when asked why he didn’t report the incident immediately.

Now, a video has shown the initial interview Andrew granted following his arrest. In it, he made no mention of three men with guns. He claimed in the video that Bamise threw herself out of the moving bus. He added that her actions had to do with the “dirty acts” he had done

Andrew said: “She forced herself out of the back door. “She was crying for help, and everything was recorded.

“Because of the dirty acts I’ve done… I’m afraid.”

Andrew Nice Omininikoron is the driver of the BRT bus that 22-year-old Toyosi Ayanwole boarded before she was found dead.

Bamise had sent videos and voice notes to friends to express concern about her safety while going home in the state-owned bus driven by Andrew.

The 22-year-old lady, Miss Oluwabamise Ayanwola, who was last seen inside the Lagos Bus Rapid Transit vehicle, has been found dead and identified by his relatives.

Ayanwola got missing while returning to Ota from Ajah on Saturday, February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 p.m. at Chevron Bus-Stop.

The victim is a a Fashion Designer at Chevron Estate, Ajah and spent weekends at Ota, Ogun State, with her sister.

Sensing danger as the bus did not pick any other passenger at subsequent bus stops, Oluwabamise had engaged a friend using voice notes on her phone.

The voice notes showed that the bus driver said he liked Oluwabamise and asked for her name and other details.

She told her friend to pray for her as she became suspicious of the bus driver and in response, the friend told her to alight at Oworonsoki bus stop — before Oshodi bus stop.

Oluwabamise had also sent a video to her friend showing how dark it was in the bus and said, “There are three men and one woman in the bus. The woman is sitting at the back. That’s the number of the bus in case. Please pray for me.’’

That was the last that was heard from Oluwabamise, according to her mother.

A man and his girlfriend have reportedly passed out after they locked their selves up in a car to have sex. The incident took place at NASFAR Building, Lagos-Ibadan express way.

According to an eyewitness, the lovers died while having sex in the Toyota Sienna vehicle.

From what was gathered, the alleged couple who were transporting themselves from one location to the other decided to stop by at the roadside to satisfy themselves.

In the process, they both died and passersby could not render any help because they locked the car before making out.
