PoliticsNigerians Beware Of Calls For Interim Arrangement Meant To Scuttle 2023 General by Oleys(op): 4:00am On Jul 06, 2022
General Ibrahim Babangida (IBB), the military head of state, handed up authority to an interim government, largely composed of civilians, on August 27, 1993, after serving as Nigeria’s president and military leader for eight years. Beneficiary of this hazy government that Babangida hastily put together before he went is the late Chief Ernest Shonekan.

Elder statesman and founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Chief Afe Babalola (SAN), recently raised the possibility of an interim administration when he claimed that the 1999 Constitution puts the future of Nigeria in jeopardy. He claimed that holding another election in 2023 without a “people’s constitution” to replace the “foisted” 1999 Constitution would be perilous. Insisting that the current administration has failed in its duty to ensure that the welfare of Nigerians remains its primary purpose of existence, he called on the Muhammadu Buhari administration and the National Assembly to organize and put in place a temporary government that shall oversee the enactment of a new constitution.

He stated that the interim administration will be made up of individuals chosen by various professional associations, such as the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), emphasizing that the new system will include all currently serving previous presidents, certain governors, and ministers.

Olusegun Obasanjo’s close friend Afe Babalola backed Babangida’s transitional administration. In light of Obasanjo’s renewed criticism of his former deputy and PDP presidential contender Atiku Abubakar, he makes a dubious allegation that he chose the wrong person. Is the old fox implying that he and his associates, whom Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation, identified as the real owners of Nigeria, are uneasy about Atiku and Bola Ahmed Tinubu becoming the front-runners for the position? These assertions, in my opinion, are not made in jest; rather, they have a specific goal in mind, particularly as Nigeria gets ready for its general election in 2023. The purpose of Afe Babalola’s position is to create misunderstanding because given that IBB’s interim was supported by a military order, it is unclear under what act or legislation his advice will depend.

The interim government was intended to prevent the crisis that would have resulted from the annulment of the election, but unfortunately it only made things worse by bringing about another five years of military rule under the late Sani Abacha, who used this time to attempt to succeed himself in office before his untimely death.

Pastor Chris Okotie, the founder of the Household of God Church, also stated that he intends to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 as an Interim President, acting as though he were performing from a script. He pleaded with each and every presidential candidate to drop out of the campaign and give him the chance to succeed Buhari.

Okotie, a candidate in previous presidential elections who was unsuccessful, claimed that Nigeria’s use of the presidential system of governance was ineffective.

“There is an imbalance in the nation and we are not practicing federalism, so we must transcend tribe and religion as well. We are actually using a presidential system of government. “Since 1999, things have gotten worse since our current presidential system of administration has failed us,” As a lawyer, he did not, however, go into detail about the legal foundation that would support his recommendation. Nigeria shouldn’t disregard the part played by late Arthur Nzeribe’s Association for Better Nigeria in voiding that country’s most successful election.

Due to the country’s unresolvable security issues, many Nigerians have doubts about the general election in 2023. The general elections scheduled for next year may not take place, according to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The Shiroro tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of 42 Nigerian troops and policemen at a mining site, the continued and escalating crime rate due to kidnapping, banditry, the Boko Haram insurgency, and ISWAP are sufficient grounds to impose an interim solution on Nigerians. I’m not a gloom and doom prophet, but there are warning indicators that Nigerians should be alarmed about. Nigeria cannot afford to be plunged into yet another catastrophe, thus we must put an end to those who are behind.

Nigerians Beware!!!

Politics“IPOB Needs 50 Men & Women To Donate $10k For 6 Months To Restore Biafra By 2023 by Oleys(op): 10:18pm On Jul 04, 2022
“We need just 50men & women to restore Biafra. These 50men/women to fund the Biafra movement with 10k dollars a month for the next 5-6 month. Biafra will be restored by the end of 2023. We are stepping up the game, you do not know what IPOB have done in the past. This time around we will not pay lobbyists 80k dollars a month, nor 65k dollars a month, Like those criminals have done in the past. The fund will go directly for equipment needed to protect our land”

-Biafra spokesperson

Simon Ekpa a strong disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, the incarcerated leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), also the spokesperson of the separatist group has called on 50 men and women to donate $10,000 each for the next 5 to 6 months for the restoration of Biafra before the end of 2023.

IPOB is an organisation demanding for the restoration and creation of Biafra.

Simon Ekpa in a series of tweets from his verified Twitter, made the demand and assured his followers the organisation will no longer pay lobbyist $65000 to 80,000 per month to actualise their dream

SportsGrand Entrance Of UFC Champion Israel Adesanya Using Undertaker Themed Song by Oleys(op): 5:57am On Jul 04, 2022
It seemed like it was over the moment the bells started to ring.

In his entrance to UFC 276, at which he’d end up defeating Jared Cannonier by an easy decision, Israel Adesanya — the reigning UFC middleweight champion — had the entire arena buzzing. Adesanya walked in to the sounds of WWE legend The Undertaker’s theme song, “Rest in Peace.” The funereal tune is instantly recognizable to any WWE fan, with its tolling bells and eerie organ theme, and it was doubly appropriate considering WWE’s “Money in the Bank” event also was staged in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

That’s not all Adesanya did, however. He completed the look by wearing a hat that called back to The Undertaker’s iconic look and carrying an urn with “Jared” written on it. The entrance itself might have been the highlight of the bout, as both Adesanya and Cannonier fought cautiously, with Adesanya’s range frustrating Cannonier’s attempts to bring the fight to the mat.

The win moves Adesanya to 23-1 and further cements his position at the top of the UFC middleweight division.

Athletes from the combat sports world and beyond reacted to Adesanya’s entrance on Twitter.

PoliticsShiroro Massacre: An Entire Battalion Wiped Out & Buhari Still Stays In Abuja by Oleys(op): 5:34am On Jul 04, 2022
On Wednesday, terrorists operating in Shiroro, Niger State, massacred numerous people, including about 42 Nigerian soldiers and policemen, and an unknown, unaccountable number of civilians at a mining site. Among those missing, according to certain media reports, are some Chinese. Just for context, the areas around the Shiroro Dam are where ISWAP fighters months ago mounted their flag, claiming them as their territory.

The story of this attack seems to have very plainly justified their assertion of sovereign control over that part of Niger State, or any other part of Nigeria, where security reports indicate, to all intents and purposes, that the Nigerian authorities seem to have lost control.

According to media reports, these attackers came heavily armed and started shooting in the Ajata-Aboki area where the mines are located. What they are mining with the Chinese, nobody knows. But the soldiers in the nearby town of Erena, not far from the scene of the massacre, were alerted, and deployed. They fell into an ambush. In the firefight, about 32 soldiers were said to have lost their lives. Wrap your heads around this figure, dear reader, and it will slowly sink in: that what was destroyed is an entire battalion!

How did this happen?

What operational faux pas could have led to the wiping out of an entire Nigerian battalion inside Nigeria in a situation which is currently not even classified as a war situation. What is the nature of this conflict?

Here is the most infuriating thing: the president of Nigeria and his aides continue to lie to Nigerians with little compunction and with little consequence. Why? Because Nigeria’s National Assembly is a toothless bulldog. Or its key members are complicit with the President in what is possibly unfolding as the largest, most complex conspiracy against the federation of Nigeria.

On Thursday, following the attack, the President’s Senior Aide on Public Affairs, Garba Shehu said the following on behalf of the president: “We honour our security forces, and particularly those brave souls who have given their lives fighting against the evil that is terrorism. They constitute the best that Nigeria has to offer and we remember each of them. Sadly, Nigeria’s fight against terrorism continues. It is a battle that is taking its toll on all of us. But we shall not relent, nor shall we surrender. We say it again that we have reduced Boko Haram to a shell of its former self. But terrorists are parasites. They thrive when the world is suffering.”

This statement from the President’s office sounds too much like tongue-in-cheek. It lacks sincerity. It is the repeat of the ineffectual hogwash which Mr. Buhari and his inner circle have been mouthing since 2015.

All that bull about reducing Boko Haram “to a shell of its former self,” is false in all its material particular. Okay, you did not “reduce” or degrade Boko Haram, Mr. Buhari. Rather, Boko Haram expanded by integrating its mission with ISWAP which is currently an alliance of the Fulani Herdsmen, Boko Haram, and the ISIS in West Africa. Boko Haram was given a new lease of life under Buhari. It became embedded inside the Nigerian military and security forces. It expanded its strategic contacts. Many of its fighters were integrated into the Armed Forces of Nigeria and circulated through the various military formations across Nigeria where they operate as sleeper cells, in some instances, and active cells, in other instances.

Our security failures cannot be without explanation. Those who doubt me should go and look at what Buhari himself said about Boko Haram and the Jonathan campaign against them prior to 2015. The plot to change Nigeria politically is an on-going game, and it is taking all kinds of shapes. There are whispers, in certain knowledgeable quarters, that insist that the current rapid degeneration of Nigeria’s security is manufactured. That the current situation is designed, and intended to secure leverage for key operators of the system.

Nothing else can explain the sudden inability of the Nigerian Armed Forces to defend Nigeria. It has been deliberately, operationally compromised from the highest quarters. Imagine therefore that at the heights of this, the institution of state is deliberately collapsed, and an extraneous force, like ISWAP takes over the country and acquires the power to govern and execute consent. This is a power game. National security is at the very heart of this power game. When a country is under external and internal attack, it is in a situation of war. Nigeria is practically in a war situation given developments that currently confront her.

The image Nigerians now see is that the Nigerian Armed Forces seem currently overwhelmed by the external aggression by an external force now called ISWAP whose strategic goal is to occupy Nigeria and overthrow its national government, and impose a strange Islamic rule called Sharia.

Let me build a scenario that is likely to occur as we move through the election year 2023. As every Nigerian knows who follows the news, Mr. Muhammadu Buhari declared about three weeks ago that he was not in the business for “a third term” – which would be an illegal extention of the tenure of the Presidency.

The interesting part of this is not what the President said, but why? Why is he suddenly saying, in spite of the clear unneccessity of it, that he is not interested in a “third term.” Who asked him? What prompted him?

As we have since come to see, everything Muhammadu Buhari says or does is coded in some layer of subterfuge. But here is the critical point: as the election season draws nearer and unfolds, we are going to see a rapid surge in these so-called terrorist attacks.

They will heighten their campaigns across Nigeria, where many are already located and embedded in the Military barracks. From now to February 2023, Nigeria is going to witness a high rate of external attacks, like what happened in Shiroro, by so called ISWAP fighters, and internal, deadly attacks – kidnappings, violent sackings of communities; city lock downs, etc., because of insecurity.

A huge event in Abuja will trigger a massive national response. Because just as conflict is manufactured, so is consent. There will be a further closure of businesses because the roads – the routes of National exchange – can no longer be travelled. Increasingly, as they cut off Nigerians; and as it becomes increasingly difficult and unsafe to fly, the prospects will be lowered for the long political campaigns.

The deliberate economic strangulation, aimed very strategically from the very beginning of Buhari’s administration to equalize poverty – that is, pauperize and reduce every Nigerian irrespective of status to the same level of desperation, and therefore weaken them, would have achieved its strategic aim. Hunger afterall is a strategic instrument of war.

You may have all the naira or dollar in your pocket, but you may not see gas, or fuel, or bread, or beans to buy, because there is no road to move them. You exist in radical confinement and fear. This is what is going on in Nigeria and it will grow worse.

Because the infrastructure of movement would have been reduced, there will be no political campaigns. The candidates will have a situation whereby their ability to travel up and down Nigeria would be reduced, lest they be kidnapped, assassinated, or disappeared on the campaign trail. Moreso because of the scarcity of Aviation fuel, that will close down many airlines, but as well for a growing uncertainty about air travel, because if these “terrorists” can hijack a train, nothing says they cannot hijack and crash a plane in Nigeria.

All these would come to a head around February 2023, I predict, when it would all become clear that the Federal Government may not be in a position to conduct elections in Nigeria as a result of insecurity.

By this point, Muhammadu Buhari would have assumed the guise of a disinterested and neutral party. Even if the parties and Nigerians manage to pressure him into conducting an election, the results will be so disputed and disreputable, that it will snowball into a national security situation which “a responsible government cannot ignore.”

It is on this basis, therefore, that Mr. Buhari and the National Assembly, under its current leadership, will trigger article 3 (Section 180) of the Constitution: “If the Federation is at war in which the territory of Nigeria is physically involved and the President considers that it is not practicable to hold elections, the National Assembly may be(sic) resolution extend the period of four years mentioned in subsection (2) of this section from time to time, but no such extension shall exceed a period of six months at any one time.”

PoliticsYou Can Get Evidence From Chicago But Not From Ibadan’, Lere Olayinka To Tinubu by Oleys(op): 4:46am On Jul 01, 2022
The controversy over falsification of academic records of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is still raging.

Tinubu in a sworn affidavit to INEC that was leaked to media could not provide certificates to back up his academic records.

To douse the scandal, Tinubu’s camp released a document from his alma mater in USA , Chicago State University that he graduated.

However media aide to former Governor Ayodele Peter Fayose of Ekiti State, Lere Olayinka has reacted to the confirmation that he attended Chicago University between 1977 and 1979.

See his reaction below:

He’s mocking Tinubu for failing to back his claim that he attended Government College, Ibadan GCI located in Nigeria for secondary education.

Tinubu has been unable to provide his primary and his secondary schools qualifications especially in the credentials sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

PoliticsFayose Set To Dump PDP & Atiku With This Cryptic Post? by Oleys(op): 4:51am On Jun 30, 2022
A former Governor Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday said considering the fact that the incumbent Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, is “a two-term northern presidency”, power must shift to the South in 2023.

Recall that in the recently concluded during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election in, Fayose did not record any vote. He was unable to secure the mandate of 16 Ekiti delegates in the exercise and was believed to have done a deal with Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State, who was a co-aspirant, as he did not campaign at all.

Now, the PDP chieftain’s social media post suggests he will not be supporting Atiku Abubakar, the presidential flag bearer of the PDP. Atiku is a northerner, from Adamawa State.

EducationI Got Pregnant With My Student & I’m Keeping The Baby, Teacher Reveals by Oleys(op): 4:37am On Jun 30, 2022
A former teacher-turned-OnlyFans model is expecting her third child, following a drunken night with an ex-student.

Amy Kupps, 33, from North Carolina, US, has previously made headlines thanks to her rather controversial extra-curricular activities as a “proud mistress”.

Struggling to land herself a boyfriend, the self-titled “home-wrecker” now has affairs with married men and women but she’s not opposed to hooking up with single men – as she’s proven with her latest shocking revelation.

Six months ago, Amy, who has 87,000 followers on Instagram, was out with friends at a nightclub when she noticed a younger man giving her the eye.

The pair went home together but it wasn’t until the next morning, when the man referred to her as Miss Kupps, that she realised they had met before years earlier – in her classroom.

“My whole world has been turned upside down, I can’t quite believe it,” Amy said

“I was chuffed going home with a younger man but the next morning he asked, ‘Do you remember me Miss Kupps?’,” she said.

“That’s when he told me he was a former student of mine and even pulled out his yearbook to prove it.

“I was shocked.

“Let me be clear; I had no idea he was a former student and if I had known, I wouldn’t have gone home with him.

“I was his teacher in 2016 when he was 16, he’s now 22 years old.”

Embarrassed by the encounter, Amy left his house and intended to cut ties – but her plan went out the window when, just a few weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant.

Amy said: “I thought he was sexy so I went in like the mistress I am, and we had a wild drunken night.

Amy said: “I thought he was sexy so I went in like the mistress I am, and we had a wild drunken night.

“When the pregnancy test showed up as positive, I was speechless.

“I’m a devout Catholic so abortion isn’t an option for me – though I support other women’s right to do as they please with their bodies.

“After I told him, he was scared. I mean he’s only 22 and is still in college, I get that.

“But I’ve told him he doesn’t have to worry because I’m financially stable and I don’t want a relationship with him.”

She said she is happy to raise the child on her own, adding the pair have gone their separate ways.

PoliticsThe Moment Sanwoolu Arrested Okada Man Suspected To Be A Military Man In Lagos by Oleys(op): 9:16am On Jun 29, 2022
A viral video shows Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, ordering the arrest of a man riding a motorcycle against traffic along Ozumba Mbadiwe road, Victoria Island, has surfaced on social media.

We gathered that Sanwo-Olu, while on his way to an event, coincidentally came across the motorcyclist riding through one-way traffic along Ozumba Mbadiwe road and he ordered the security personnel in his convoy to arrest the rider.

The state had also warned private motorcycle owners against flouting traffic rules.

A witness revealed that while the security operatives attached to the governor were trying to effect the arrest of the rider, he resisted and tried to gain access to a military facility along Ozumba Mbadiwe road.

During the scuffle between the security personnel and the rider, some military officers who came to the scene, insisted that the motorcyclist was a colleague.

Sanwo-Olu was said to have insisted that the rider should be arrested for breaching the state traffic law — a development that led to heated argument at the scene.

In the video that surfaced on the social media, the unidentified military officer was seen carried by security operatives into a van.

PoliticsSomething Is Obviously Wrong With Your Credentials, Jagaban Speak Up’ by Oleys(op): 5:59am On Jun 27, 2022
It won’t be right to suggest that Tinubu has no primary or secondary education. He surely does, at least, judging by his ability to talk and engage in a largely cerebral manner. The real issue is around his inability/failure to reveal the names of his past schools. Why is it difficult to tell the world where he had his primary and secondary education? Something is obviously not right and we don’t need anyone to tell us otherwise.

When an individual begins prevarication on an otherwise easy task, just know that something is fishy. Information around educational background is usually one of the easiest tasks that individuals can engage in. An acclaimed First class graduate from a prestigious institution like the Chicago University, is perhaps the last person who should struggle to provide basic information on his past academic journey. No one has asked necessarily asked that certificates relating to each of the levels of education be submitted.

The ONLY ASK are the names of the primary and secondary schools attended by this acclaimed First class university graduate (by his supporters) but it appears difficult to supply. It is even more intriguing when one realises that this so called First class graduate did not study beyond his first degree, meaning that he does not have to travel further backwards (just two steps backwards actually) to give the names of his past schools but it is difficult to do.

My father would be 89 year in about 3 months and he will give you a graphic description of his educational journey from his primary school at St. Stephen’s primary school, up until he bagged his PhD at the University of Exeter in 1977 at the age of 44. (Whenever he shares his experience at the primary school, you would think the events happened only a few years back). He will also gladly list all the short courses he attended and where. And he wasn’t even a first class student!

How come our Chicago trained, first class accountant cannot give the names of his primary and secondary schools? The answer is simple: there is something shady about that past. Don’t blame me, don’t blame anyone, for reaching this conclusion. Anyone that stands for public office, especially the highest possible in the country, should know he would be scrutinised and his first line of defence is never to give his interrogators any lead to pursue. Sadly, this is not the case in this situation. Something is obviously not right and I shudder at the thoughts that it may just well be another baggage Nigeria must contend with for another set of 4 to 8 years. Why is this country just damn unlucky?!

Understandbly, several supporters of our dear presidential candidate are already up in arm, blowing hot and cold, attacking and cursing anyone who dares to make issues out of the situation. Let us not mind them. Many of them have become like programmed robots who can no longer engage with reality in an intelligent way. They will defend any nonsense for as long as it their candidate. They will tell accuse you of hatred and envy without pausing for a second to think about the concerns their candidate may be raising. To them, the definition of a patriotic Nigerian is to be stupeeed and never question anything about this “God-given”, “God-sent” messiah who has the midas touch to change nigeria within a short time. Anything outside that understanding and acceptance to them, is an anathema.

Well, this is another round of emerging affliction that we must learn to contend with as a nation. We will surely survive it

CrimeIke Ekweremandu: My Brother Is 25 Not 15, Junior Brother Contradicts UK Police by Oleys(op): 4:32pm On Jun 26, 2022
The younger brother of David Ukpo Nwanmini, an alleged victim of organ trafficking involving Senator Ike Ekwerrmadu and his wife in the United Kingdom, Jonathan Ukpo Nwanmini, yesterday, said his sibling is 25 years old as against 15 claimed by the British Police.

The brother, who claimed to be 22 years old, told Sunday Vanguard that the victim is his elder brother.

He said:”David is my elder brother because we are both of the same father with different mothers and we hail from Ebonyi State. I will be 22 years old by next month and David is 25 years old. I am aware that he travelled because he told me. He did not disclose the country he was travelling to. He simply told me he was going to school abroad.

“After some months of not hearing from him, I got his number from his girlfriend and called him. I asked about his studies and work.

He said it was fine but that he was not working yet as he needed to go to school first before he could be given a working paper. I told him about our dad who was not feeling fine.

This was the conversation we had this month since January when he travelled. He was staying with us here in Ikotun before he left. We both sell phone accessories. We spoke last week. We even spoke again this week.”

Another businessman in Ikotun who pleaded anonymity also told Sunday Vanguard that: “David left Nigeria in January. He told us that someone promised to sponsor his education in the UK. He never mentioned the name of the person, but from what I have read online, it might be that the person was an intermediary between David and the former Deputy Speaker.”
Last Thursday, the Metropolitan Police announced that Ekweremadu and his wife were charged to court over the allegation of bringing a child with the name David to the UK for organ harvesting.

The police added that an investigation was launched after detectives were alerted to potential offences under modern slavery legislation in May 2022.

Organ harvesting involves removing parts of the body, often for commercial gain and against the will of the victim. The former Deputy Senate President was said to have needed a kidney donor for his daughter, Sonia, who is down with renal failure.

Ekweremadu and his wife appeared at the Uxbridge Magistrates Court in West London last Thursday and were asked by the clerk for their address, they both replied: “Nigeria”.
While the court denied them bail, it ordered that they be remanded in Police custody till July 7.

PoliticsTinubu, Atiku, Fulanisation Agenda & The Coming Of Nigerian Youth Revolution by Oleys(op):
Yes, the presidential primaries of the political parties, especially PDP and APC, have come and gone but not with the hidden messages that only the great thinkers can unravel and reveal!

What really played out is a crafted and schemed plot of a prepared and determined tribe, the Fulani tribe. It’s all about strengthening their hold on power and deepening their roots on the soil of Nigeria to emasculate and strangulate other tribes.

Make no mistake about this, the emergence of Atiku for PDP and Tinubu for APC was neither accidental nor coincidental. No, it was a well calculated and schemed plot by a people who have intentionally and consciously become masters of the game of survival.

APC, with the help of INEC, knowingly or unknowing, had to wait for the outcome of PDP primaries to be sure they got their man, Atiku, as the Flag Bearer, before they had their own. Once the PDP ticket had been secured by their own, having outsmarted the Southern candidates, they knew they were not going to take any chance with the marriage of the Igbos and the Yorubas. Alliance which would have been necessitated and triggered by a common feeling of injustice and the Northern (Fulani) show of domination and lordship.

The Fulanis have always known that the very day this wedding takes place, that same day, their dominance will come to an end. So while they try to emasculate the Igbos, they allow the Yorubas to have a feel of the booty and a piece of the cake. The cake, their wise Elders, like Pa Adebanjo, have repeatedly told them, would be bigger, richer, sweeter and more lasting, if they join hands with their Igbo brothers to bake!

So to widen this gap and strengthen this wall of division, between the Igbos and Yorubas, Tinubu, a Yoruba man, who they will NEVER give the presidency, has to be given the ticket to assuage the South West, for now, against the Igbos who are rightfully entitled to the ticket. Buhari was ready for a North- North tickets. He didn’t care. But the wise men led by El Rufai talked him out of it, having known the immediate implication of that.

Don’t forget, it was just few days to the Primaries that Tinubu bust out on Buhari and APC leadership. An action the APC chairman said would not go unpunished. And that punishment was to make him the party’s Flagbearer! What a punishment!

The question then is, why the preference of Tinubu to Osinbanjo? Remember, El Rufai did not allow Tinubu to see the Kaduna Delegates which he promised he would give to Amaechi. El Rufai is the head of the Fulani Agenda.

It was Atiku that brought him to limelight and gave him political relevance when he made him the FCT minister in OBJ’s government. So for their continuity in power and survival as a people, Atiku, one of their own, must be there. Buhari and co never wanted to give power to either Osinbajo or Tinubu.

They chose Tinubu over Osinbanjo to avoid the kind of crisis Tinubu, with his resources, would have caused them even before the election. And as a master strategist himself, who probably knows what they know, except what they will do to him during this election, they figured out that appeasing him for now is a lesser evil. The fear of Tinubu/Wike galvanizing the South for a show down with them was the beginning of wisdom.

For the Fulanis, they don’t have any business with party but position. Where their man is, that’s the party for them. Do not be deceived, choosing APC or PDP is like choosing between six and half a dozen or as was trending in the social media, choosing between Sniper and Otapiapia.

Why didn’t they allow the South to chair the parties into their primaries.
Is it any coincidence that they both zoned the chairmanship of their parties to the North and still nursed the ambition of producing the presidential candidates. No, I don’t think so! It’s not coincidence but confidence!

Any day, any time, this Atiku we know, will beat this Tinubu we know, hands down. Not because there is any difference in their character or agenda for the nation, but because the APC heavy weighs in the North will obviously tambualize Tinubu, after draining him dry and rally round their man, Atiku, to strengthen the Fulani dynasty.

Now the big question is this, at what point did the 13 Northern APC Governors know that it was the turn of the South to produce the next president? Why didn’t they support the Southern Governors when they made the same call last year? If they did, would Atiku and other Northerners have come out? Or was it only for those in APC? If Atiku wins, which is their game plan, would power have returned to the South? The contemplation of a muslim-muslim ticket for APC, by El Rufia on Channels TV, was it in the interest of Atiku or Tinubu? Will Tinubu commit this political suicide of choosing a Muslim as a Vice, to please these hawks, knowing the implications? It’s just a matter of days!

Yes, while it’s wisdom to plan, it’s senseless planning on what you cannot control. You can control your actions but you can’t control the consequences. While the Fulanis may think that they have emasculated and castrated the leadership of these ethnic groups, (who have sworn allegiance to serve them and others outside the government, whom they gave money for contracts and asked not to execute them, so as to pin EFCC on them, once they open their mouths), they did not factor in, the revolution that the youths of these ethnic groups are coming up with. Revolution that will bring a serious shake up in our political system.

A revolution, activated, precipitated and triggered by the force of hope and assurance which Peter Obi, the Flag Bearer of The Labour Party, has come to personify and epitomize

Peter Obi has begun a Movement that has even gone beyond him. In him, the people are seeing hope, honesty, integrity, prudence, accountability, intelligence and human feelings! In him, they genuinely believe Nigeria will rise again.

They believe supporting Peter Obi is not helping him but helping themselves and taking back their country, their only country. Never in the history of Nigerian politics has a presidential candidate been this accepted to the point that the electorates are spending their own resources for him rather than the candidate giving them money for their votes!
They’re convinced that they are investing for themselves not for Peter Obi. That if he becomes President, they are sure of returns on their investments.
That Peter Obi could go to a virgin party and turn it into a Movement and a force in the political arena, shows truly that he makes things happen! That he can build from nothing to something truly confirms that he will indeed turn Nigeria from consumption to production.

Here are my critical questions:

Why would Tinubu who knows and has publicly said that he brought Buhari, the most nepotic, tribalized, clueless and worst president Nigeria has ever and will ever have, still have the guts to come out for President instead of hiding his head in shame and apologizing to the nation if he cares a hoot about this country?

How will any man with conscience, if not for the exhibition of selfishness of the highest order, come out for president?

Why is Atiku, who has run for this office for the fifth or more time, (The only tribe whose candidates keep resurfacing in every election), still coming out this time around?
1. Knowing the damage a Northern Fulani man has done and is still doing in this country;

2. Knowing that he, too, is a Northern Fulani man

3. Knowing that it’s constitutional for PDP to rotate power between North and South;

4. Knowing that it’s the turn of South East, the region that gave him almost 100% of their votes;

5. Knowing that this region and her people are being punished today because of the votes they gave him and he never uttered a word against it nor stood up to defend them; 6. And knowing that this region has been the bedrock of PDP since 1999.

If it’s just politics and not the pursuit of an ethnic agenda, how would any man, with conscience, come out at this sensitive and fragile time, when Nigerian existence has a question mark? A man who has never condemned anything the Fulanis have done. A man who has never called Buhari by name in condemnation rather APC government!

My submission:
It has taken the Fulanis almost 60 years to scheme themselves to where they are now. Controlling economic, military and political powers in Nigeria. So they want Atiku there, for at least, the next four years to perfect what they have begun. Tinubu victory is not an option, they will not allow it except for a Muslim- Muslim (Fulani) ticket, so that they would do to the South what they thought OBJ did to the North, taking Tinubu out, considering his health condition and having the Fulani VP, ascend the presidency. Never you under rate or estimate what these people can do!

In the light of the above, like Pa Adebanjo advised too, I will want every Nigerian, who truly loves this nation, to brace up for tough and rough times ahead! These people are ready and would not, having come this far, willingly relinquish power to any other tribe. They are ready even for war. The import of the Fulanis from all over the world into Nigeria is not to rear cattle but to use the weapons that they have long amassed for war, having successfully, disarmed most Nigerians of their weapons for defense.

The good news now is the readiness of the youths too, from every region, to take back their country, with the mantra,”Behold, old things are past away, and all things have become new”!
The emergence of these youths at this point in time, has altered their equation because they were not factored in, in their calculation! The survival of this nation, Nigeria, truly lies in the hands of these YOUTHS and now is the time!!!!

PoliticsNigerians, Collapsed Power Projects & Peter Obi by Oleys(op): 9:27am On Jun 17, 2022
I have always been saying an average Nigerian or the masses don’t really know what they want despite the myriads of problems facing us as a nation.

Currently our national grid has collapsed and going by the records, it has collapsed more than six times this year.

However on social media, Nigerians are busy tearing themselves apart to defend their candidates in the upcoming general election in 2023

Ooh my candidate is better than yours, he’s a master political strategist. Na my brother, Na my brother in faith

Your candidate is a thief, mine is a saint

Yeye

We bave forgotten that we are using generators to charge our gadgets like mobile phones, iPad or laptops

Nigeria should applaud someone like Peter Obi that is thinking outside the box looking for lasting solutions to our perennial and intractable power supply.

He’s currently in Egypt to learn from the North African nation that is embarking on an ambitious power project

Fellow Nigerians it’s about time we put on our thinking caps

When are we going to focus on things that affect us directly, put our leaders on their toes to do the needful rather engaging in useless arguements.

Politics“I See Danger, Your Kingdom Has Been Badly Balkanised”, Fayose Writes Tinubu by Oleys(op): 3:55am On Jun 07, 2022
The Letter in Full:

OPEN LETTER TO ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU

My Dear Asiwaju,

Let me start this letter to your good-self whom I considered as one of the leading lights of the Yoruba nation; as a letter that may not be patronizing, especially for the content based on the subjective views I will express here as a Yoruba man and not as a politician.

I equally wish to state that I am not an APC man and will never be.

I am writing based on my observed views and the attached possible dangers about your good-self against tomorrow.

One of the undeniable facts is your outburst in Abeokuta, which is a clear indication that you clearly saw a political danger to which you reacted. This informed the basis of my writing to you now.

I equally read the reactions of your political allies both in the North and in the South. The reactions gave me great cause of concern for you and your life. Again, I see danger!

As a knowledgeable student of history whom you are; our great late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and the celebrated winner of the June 12, 1993 general election; Alhaji Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, were led to the Golgotha by self acclaimed “champions of democracy.” I am sure the same people may advise you to ignore my advise.

Going by the handwritings that are now clearly on the wall, if I may comment sir, I see you as one that may be swimming against the political tide of the cabal in your party. They are equally preparing for your actions and reactions and are fully set to contain same as they did to both Awolowo and Abiola.

Unfortunately, your kingdom has been badly balkanized if what happened in Abeokuta is anything to go by.

PoliticsWhy Buhari Travelled To Spain With Tinubu’s Political Foot Soldiers by Oleys(op): 4:47am On Jun 04, 2022
President Muhammadu Buhari deliberately dropped the idea of “consensus candidate” when he met with the APC governors in Abuja before jetting out to Spain.

This action is deleberate and a political masterstroke.

It is meant to set confusion among the party members especially the 23 Presidential aspirants. Among the leading contenders are the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, the Senate President Ahmad Lawan and the national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Tinubu is believed to be the most popular and colourful leading contender among the pack. The body language of Buhari shows he’s not favourably disposed to Tinubu’s ambition.

To add more to Tinubu’s worries, Buhari travelled to Spain with some of federal ministers that are close associates and foot soldiers of Tinubu.

On his entourage are seven ministers and three other top officials of the Federal Government.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, and the Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora.

Others are the National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno, Director-General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufa’i Abubakar, and Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Apart from the fact that they are Yoruba and from southwest like Tinubu, Adebayo, Mohammed, Aregbesola, Sunday Dare, Mamora and Dabiri are products of Tinubu’s political family.

Incidentally, Tinubu’s faction of APC are at loggerheads with Lai Mohammed and Aregbesola.

Tinubu’s nephew and Governor of Osun state, Gboyega Oyetola and Rauf Aregbesola are locked in a deep bitter political feud over the former’s reelection bid.

Lai Mohammed’s group decamped from APC in Kwara state over the potracted political contest with Governor of Kwara state, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq

Adeniyi Adebayo, Abike Dabiri Sunday Dare staunch supporters of Tinubu have maintained studied silence, not publicly identifying with Tinubu’s Presidential ambition.

Unfortunately for Tinubu, he rocked the boat with his public utterances when his campaign team moved to Ogun state. He took swipes at President Buhari and Governor Dapo Abiodun, the dust generated has been causing ripple effect among the political circles.

President Buhari is deliberately deepening the wide gulf between Tinubu and his foot soldiers to gain upper hand in the superiority contest.

These are troubling periods for Tinubu as the party moved to choose the flag bearer for the 2023 Presidential election this weekend.

PoliticsTinubu: Gov Dapo Abiodun Wouldn't Have Been Governor Without Me by Oleys(op): 6:01am On Jun 03, 2022
Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos and presidential hopeful, has taken a swipe at Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state.

Speaking on Thursday at a meeting with delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta, the Ogun capital, Tinubu said the APC did not want to give the governorship ticket to Abiodun in the build-up to the 2019 polls.

There was crisis in the APC prior to the 2019 elections over the refusal of Ibikunle Amosun, who was completing his second term as governor of Ogun at the time, to support Abiodun as his successor.

Amosun, who had supported another aspirant, was later suspended by the party.

Speaking on the circumstances surrounding the issue at the time, Tinubu said he did much to ensure the success of Abiodun at the polls.

“That one (referring to Abiodun) that is sitting down here, could he have become governor without me? We were all in the stadium where they tore all the posters. Even the candidacy of the party, they didn’t want to give it to him,” the APC chieftain said in Yoruba.

“It’s been over 25 years that I have been serving them. This one sitting at my back, Dapo, could he have become a governor if not for me?

“If he wants to hear, his life will be long. If he wants to meet God in his position, he would admit that he wouldn’t have become governor if not for God and I.”

Bola Tinubu has lamented how he has been let down by Muhammadu Buhari after helping him to realise his life-long ambition in 2015, rallying the Yoruba people not to allow the Nigerian president succeed in making him an inconsequential page in history books.

“He tried first time and failed. He tried second time and failed. He tried third time and failed. He even cried on television that he will never run for president again,” Mr Tinubu said in Abeokuta while meeting APC delegates on Thursday afternoon. “I went to meet him and told him this is not a crying matter: ‘we will support you and you will be president’.”

Mr Tinubu, who addressed the audience in Yoruba for the most part of the event, said Mr Buhari was made president on the condition that he will never mess with Yoruba interests.

“I didn’t beg him for contracts, I never begged him for garri, I never begged him for fura and I never borrowed money from him,” Mr Tinubu said of Mr Buhari’s administration. “But I insisted it is Yoruba’s turn and when it comes to Yoruba it is my turn.”

“I don’t want them to just mention me in history books for nothing,” Mr Tinubu said.

Ahead of the ruling party’s convention on June 6, Mr Tinubu has made headlines for being the least likely to clinch the presidential ticket despite being the most prolific politician amongst the aspirants.

Mr Buhari has insisted on a consensus candidate for the party, a move Mr Tinubu has long opposed. The former Lagos governor has also reportedly learnt that he won’t be Mr Buhari’s favourite, prompting him to embark on an open confrontation ahead of the primary.
