Good evening mamas, please I'm here again with my Questions.

I did scan today and I was told I'm 35weeks plus one day as against 38weeks plus one day by Lmp. The doctor that attended to me last time also said something about what she measured using tape rule is different from calculated.

Please mamas, is it something to be worried about? Though I have an appointment tomorrow but I want to be sure of what I'm dealing with.

It’s called Vaginal flatulence. It happens when there is air trapped in your vagina maybe after kpekus or during pregnancy in some women.
Don’t worry, it’ll stop.

Me and DH ke? We dinnor do anything oo. He said sex will worsen the vagina ache that I'm having, someone that dinnor want to do before.

I feel like bubbles are coming out of my vagina, like someone wants to fart through the vagina, please this has been happening for like 3days, though it's once in a while. Abeg what is happening to my private part, we are 38weeks today.

Birth story


I started having strong pubis pain on Tuesday, so I decided to go to clinic on Wed since it was ANC day. I was checked that morning and was told I was 5cm gone only for another nurse to check and said 2cm so I was asked to go back and come back when am having stronger contractions. When I got home, I prepared soup, make food, do necessary house cleaning, even made yoghurt that I sell and slept around 2am on Thurs. I went back to d clinic on Thurs morning to get my wallet that I forgot and d nurse insist on checking me and it was 3cm she still asked me to go back and come when d contractions is stronger. I came back, cooked, bath my toddler and wash all dirty plates and pots. I ate and bath too, the contractions is now stronger and 10mins apart, I took hot tea and when after d next contractions, I vomited all d food and slept for 20mins, I was woken up by another strong contraction which is now 3mins apart, while I was contracting, I was shouting a hubby not leave Mr alone. Her was helping to rub my back and I was just holding his legs, raising my bumbum like person wey wan do doggy Style. By 12pm, I told hubby that we should start going that I don't want to born at home. We got to d clinic, I just run like person wey mad man dey pursue, I was checked and 4cm since morning. A bed was prepared for me and d contractions become stronger and was trying to endure but when I cannot I shout. My aunt came and immediately d contraction came, I just hold and bite her shoulder and d nurse just sent her away that I was enduring before she came. Around 1:20, my water broke and I told d nurse but she said it is ok, I called d midwife dt is my friend and she said I should come in and I was checked. I was fully dilated and d nurses started running about to get my things. I was just shouting I want to pee, I want to poo, d matron said let us see it. While they were getting set, I asked if I can push and yes I pushed and baby was out at exactly 1:30pm. Then dis bleeding started as part of d cord or placenta had detached but Glory be to God, everything was perfected, I was cleaned and moved to d ward by 2:10.pm

Labour can come as stomach ache but the ache will begin from the under of your belly and drinking water won't make it subside.
It can also come as back ache. A persistent ache that comes and goes.
Also as leg pain especially knees.
So you never know which one is yours. Some are even lucky to have all 3

Mine is usually back ache. So I can't really describe the pain any other way. But you know braxton hicks? Its exactly like that but painful. Your tummy tightens and relaxes at intervals

I've never tasted amala and ewedu so I don't know what they use in cooking.
You can time the contractions or speak with your doctor.

The day before yesterday, I visited the toilet up to 7times, dunno what upset my stomach but I suspect the spicy concoction rice I ate at my bestie's place.

Yesterday was another drama, I went to a cafeteria to eat, after demolishing Amala, ewedu and gbegiri with orisirisi meat, something just hooked me by my left side. I managed back to the office and the pain got worse, somewhere above my waist in-between my back and tommy(my side sha) was aching seriously, I can't explain but the pain comes and go.

I couldn't go home cos I would be alone at home so I kept enduring it, my colleague suggested he takes me to the hospital but I declined. I got home and took hot tea, I felt relieved and I slept off.

Mamas Abeg how do I know if I'm already having contractions? someone said it'd like menstrual cramps but I have not experienced menstrual cramps before only sore nipples and tender breasts during menstrual period.

I thank God for his mercies, this pregnancy has being filled with drama.
My edd was 5 and 7 july according to scan n lmp.
Spent 2/3 of my first trimester hospitalized due to severe ms.
Half of my 2nd trimester on intermittent bed rest due to cramps
My 3rd I was already waddling by 7months.baby's head dropped early.i couldnt bend and I was as lazy as slob eh.
I was having frequent BH contractions. It became normal sef to me.
I stopped driving.uber and taxify finish my money eh!. chai!.

Fast forward to 20 june.after my ANC. I decided to finally shop and pack hospital bag incase of emergency as if I knew.
On sunday 24th june.i was on call..so I prepared went to work by 8am, while at work I was having my usual false contractions or so I thought.
So inbetween attending to my patients I will jus lie down when I could to get a little relief. I was jokingly telling my colleague 'this kain busy duty I go soon born for una for hia'. We all laughed about it.i now said I was going to as my ogas for the day off on monday cos that sunday had being stressful so I dont deliver before my time.

I closed by 830pm.hubby came to pick me.when we got home.i prepared dinner, we ate, the contractions came back.i just took a bath and told oga am going to bed early, that probably due to the stress, the BH contraction is back.

Went to bed by 10pm couldn't sleep, every 45mins this contractions will come. Ahhah! Which kain false contractions get time like this, went to the bathroom checked. No show, no mucus plug, no water.God help me oo. Went back to bed. 12am contractions every 20mins.chineke! This can't be false again na, went to the bathroom, still no show, no mucus plug, no water. I started praying 'God please I don't understand anymore, am sorry i wanted to skip work ooo, pls just let this contractions stop oo, I will go to work tomorrow' for where.i woke hubby please gimme paracetamol. He asked are u in labor I said I dont know ooooo, should we go to the hospital? I said I no.
1245am contraction becaming longer and every 5mins. I told hubby hospital ooooooo.i had pulled my pyjamas n thrown oneside I was walking to n fro the parlor praying. Oga jus grabbed one free gown threw over my head I just put one hand in , open the door started walking down stairs barefoot.Dh was lke wait ur slippers.i didnt even ans.when the contractions come.i jus pause n grab the railings.my sister carried my box.thank God I packed.

Got downstairs opened the door I climbed in, dh realise I forgot my hospital card, he asked my sister to close the car door wen I go in since i was now moving in slow motion, the contraction was every 1min n lasted 10secs longer.and den ran in to get my handbag

As I jus put on leg in, another contraction came with the urge to poo.as I pushed baby head came out.i just shouted my baby is coming oooo, next 30secs senod contraction baby body slipped out.i jus held my baby crying my baby is here ooo.my sister almosted fainted .she screamed out my whole neighbourhood out from their sleep.hubby ran down stairs carefully moved the other leg in the car closed the door and drove james bond to the hospital.
As God will have it all the estate security was still at their duty post by 1am.the opened the gate fast.we went to the nearest hospital.wen the gate man saw how hubby dove he ran away from the gate probably tinking it was robbers. I just told hubby lets go to my hospital pls.we raced down there.got the nurses.they came to the car cut the cord.took baby for suctioning n cleaning.
Then helped me to the labour room where I delivered the placenta and was stitched.

Tank God for his mercies.he is really a faithful God.
