I read somewhere here that some babies react that way to Rota. Some mamas complained of such, although my son didn't react to it at all.

Please I want to know. My first blood group test years ago was AB-, I did again some months ago at same lab and it came out A-, I had to do another at one hospital and it came out as A+... During ante natal they now said it is A-. Meanwhile the height of my confusion is the fact that my mum is A+, dad B+, and my two siblings B+, where is my negative coming from? ...DH is O+... What if I'm actually + but still receive the rhogam injection, will it have any effect on me? I'm so confused. Please Repeat the blood group test to be sure of what you are, That's how I was told at antenatal that I'm Bpositive, thank God I was sure of my Rhesus factor I told them to do a rerun cos I'm sure it's Bnegative. They repeated the test and I came out negative. It's only negative mothers that take Rhogam.

Modified: After you are confirmed to be negative, Indirect coomb test will be done if you've been pregnant before for a positive partner cos exchange of blood might have happened during abortion miscarriage or childbirth.
I hope I've not got you confused.What I'm saying in essence is: Indirect coomb test is done if it's not a first pregnancy . The test is done to check if the antibodies have built up.

Rhogam injection is meant for negative mothers from what I know.
positive mothers don't need Rhogam.

After my delivery right in the labour room, the nurse that took my delivery told me she does home service circumcision for 5k (the same charged at the general hospital.) Another nurse also came to advertise her services to us that had boys later on.

We had already been told at anchor that the circumcision clinic at the hospital only takes 20 slots per day or whatever. The hospital is quite far from home and we don't have a car. So my first thought is to go with the nurse that handled my delivery for comfort sakes.

Hubby thinks we should visit the health center near our home but i don't think, those ones will do such cos doctors aren't attached there, all they basically attend to there is headaches and the likes.

The issue now is my MIL out of the blues is insisting we go to the general hospital to do it. That it's only doctors (surgeons) that do it.

My questions are
Is it compulsory we go to the hospital.
Is it only doctors that do it
What are the pros and cons of having the nurse come over to the house.
I don't want to be jumping around the street with a wailing baby. I'll waiting for your responses.

We did ours at home, a family friend who is a nurse did it for my son.

I couldn't go to the health center today cos of rain, it started drizzling since midnight till this afternoon. Hubby also said I should watch it till weekend. since yesterday there has been no mucus... He still sneezes and once in a while his nose makes noise when breathing and we didn't see any mucus when checked.

Claseek cook without the spice. It's not ideal but it's not bad. Consider making pasta too, since she likes noodles, that's a better alternative

Adayoung 5 days is still too early to worry about your tummy. Take hot food and drinks (water, tea, pap, oats) to help your tummy and BM. As for pumps various types depending on your budget, I'm familiar with and trust Medela and Lansinoh double electric. Manual pumps didn't work for me

Bibitee patience. Ebf babies don't usually take to other foods easily. Also get another person to feed him. How do you dress your baby? Hope you're not overlayering him?

I do use red oil # I also rub lil on my son's frontalle and it works for me#

The supposed AF could be stress induced so pls try n observe good rest
For the catarrh fill a hot water bottle up with warm water, cover tightly and wrap well with wrapper. Place beside your Ds. The little heat from the bottle will warm up the bed and loosen up the catarrh.
It works for my dd myself included.

Good afternoon mamas, please I'm here again with questions, make una pardon me.

1. I saw blood discharge last week Thursday, normally before pregnancy AF lasts for 5 or 6 days , it's 9days today and the supposed AF hasn't stopped. Could it be that Lochia came back? or is it AF?

2. My DS has catarrh and it's been 6days now, it's still there and I've been giving him 1ml of vitC 3times daily with mopping with warm water and applying Shea butter and mentholatum. Please what else should I do?

Just check to be sure he's sleeping comfortably and no mosquito is disturbing him
When my ds was much younger and behaved in a similar manner, I whisper a word of prayer into his ears. This also helped me erase any kind of fear that may want to creep into my heart.
Remain courageous..God guide you and protect your dear son.

Nothing is wrong with him in my opinion. My son did same and i was told it's because he wasn't thrown up during bath time that my mum should have thrown him up or held him upside down for few minutes to remove fear from him. He stopped sha as he grew older. Even whilst awake he would just jump at the slightest noise. Lolz

My ds used to be startled from sleep when he was much younger cause of noise
So I try to be as quiet as possible when he sleeps
And again he started sleeping longer and stopped getting startled when he gained head control and started sleeping on his stomach

It's not noisy here, I noticed he doesn't when he's in his cot or our bed so he doesn't sleep for long. he sleeps longer when backed, when I carry him and when I place him on my chest

Good morning mamas, please my almost 7 weeks son cries out from sleep and he doesn't sleep calmly like he startles when he sleeps, I mean like someone that is scared.

Please is there anything wrong, help a FTM.

Ma soleil arrived yesterday 28th via emergency C-section @36 weeks 1 day and weighing 2kg

I'm alive to testify of God's goodness, my princess is hale and hearty too, daddy is overjoyed it ended in praise and by his grace plenty money to take good care of her
