August mamas, how una dey? Serious Backache is dealing with me oo, especially when I wake up to pee at night but it gets better in the morning.

I'm seriously confused at the moment, DH and I agreed that I will be at my sister's place till I put to bed cos it's close to my parents house for proper care when baby is ready to come.

Now I've been posted to somewhere close to my Husband's house at work, I have to resume there tomorrow and I've got ANC on Tuesday.

I just pray this new boss will free me, I kukuma plan submitting my leave letter before the end of this month.
I'm sorry for bringing this here, I just had to let it off my chest as it's really bothering me.

I was naked and was given those hospital cloth to wear. You don't have to lay down. I was standing all through the process and was given a metal wrapped with tissue paper to put in between my thigh abi v agina . Except if the have different ways of doing it. It didn't last up to 5mins.

To my greatest surprise it was only paramount diagnostic (festac) that collected 5k every other place I inquired was 15k. I quickly went there before they change the price and tell me it's a mistake.

I was asked to do it when I was pregnant. the one i did was an X-ray kind of. The essence is to measure the diameters of the pelvis and the baby's head. To know if the baby's head can pass tru the pelvis. Not painful at all. You will be given a metal to place in between your thighs while they do it

Good evening mamas, doctor told me in my last appointment that I will go for CT pelvimetry test at 36weeks. please who has done it before, how's it done and why do I need it?

Also I feel aches in my vagina when I want to pee and I the right part of my bum aches too when I walk, it gets bad at times that I have to stop and I limp afterwards.

I strived but submit to God's will, for He knows all. When it was just few weeks left to August 25th. I fell to labour and before I could say Jack, the water gushed out on first Sunday. I was rushed to nearby hospital where I gave birth to my Angel but she only survived few minutes. Everything happened suddenly but thank God I'm alive because the delivery was serious as the baby was brought buttocks first. I lost lot of blood but I survived it all though my baby girl is no more.

I don't know how to handle the loss especially when my b..bs full and no baby to feed. Pray for me pls

Reading? For a 2 year old might be quite too early.
Try to get picture books and make a story out of the.. It could be your regular coloring book.
For example if on one page there is a picture of an elephant, you could make a sentence like
Mom: what do you see?
Child: I see an elephant. ( or just say elephant)
Mom: wow! The elephant is sooooooo big! It walks like this (imitate a big elephant with big loud steps).
And look at its trunk go (use your arms as your trunks and blow loudly like a trumpet). The sounds you make will make him smile and that's how the love of books begins.
Mom: would you like to color the elephant?
Child: okay.. (Child gets to choose color cos your activity is child centred; no matter how ridiculous the colour seems for the image: that is how favorite colors are known)
Mom: what color is that?
Child: color red!
Mom: that's right! Its color red (Or) oh no! That's color purple and not red. What color is this? (Point to the same crayon.
Child: color purple.
Mom: great now we get to color the elephant purple. ( if the book is big, you can color together but if it isn't you just observe that he is holding the crayon the right way)

For his age, fat crayons are advised so he can practice his pincer grips or you get palmer grasp crayons. These crayons are quite large and the child grasps with the whole hand but I think he should be older than that.

Now coming back to his pencil grip, get fat tripod pencils for him. I've posted a pix here before, kindly go through the last few pages.
Other activities to help with tripod grip are pegging, lacing, sorting rice and brands, tearing paper.
You may need to download Pinterest. You'll see a lot of activities that you can easily modify from your end.
Also visit you tube to watch videos of how the activities are best carried out.

The thumb, fore and middle fingers are the tripod grip.
In the images below, note the age of the child so no pressures, this is a the teaching phase, he will gradually learn to hold the pencil right. The fat tripod pencil will help a great deal. Some of the kids in my class 26m have mastered the grip while some are still struggling with it, last last everybody go hold pencil.

I have my secret ingredient though . Its just to start eating our native soup made with potash. It made me to start dilating in 24hours with my first pregnancy. I pray it works again this time around. I top it with long walks

In other news, there's a way I feel and I find it difficult to explain it. I feel pressured on my bladder and the inner part of my vagina(dunno if I'm making sense). It relieves me after like 30secs.

sorry didn't give you feedback last two weeks. The Dr connected me to the person that do supply to them and he said is 25k .

OK ma, I asked my doctor how to go about it and he said I should talk to one of the nurses that they know how to get it.
I will ask the nurses in my next appointment.

You are free to ask as many questions as you want. My baby came out B+ while I'm O- hence the injection which must be administered within the first 72hours after delivery else, your next pregnancy will not stay as you will be having subsequent miscarriages.(God forbid)

The injection was administered on my right butt by a nurse with a Doctors guidance though.

The injection is not something you just buy cos it came with something like ice dunno the medical name its for preservation and if not well handled, can contaminate or render the injection that is 30k useless so you have to be very careful. I will advice the money should be given to a Doctor to get it for you when its time. Cheers

Lord we Pray for everyone that has put to bed; that you continue to strengthen them and keep watch over them and their LO; that there would be no evil report in Jesus name.

Lord we pray for everyone that is due to deliver; that the delivery shall be like that of the Hebrew women with no complication in Jesus name.

Lord we pray for us still on the journey, that you continue to sustain us and that our babies form in the right way with no defect and we enjoy the rest of our pregnancy in Jesus name.

Lord we pray for the mamas that are expectant and looking up to you to enjoy this journey of motherhood, that you answer their prayers and give them double as a testimony;
that they become a joyful mother of children in Jesus name.

Lord we decree that there shall be no loss on this thread in Jesus name; no loss of Baby, of Mother, of Father in Jesus name.

We decree that it shall be Supernatural Delivery for us all in Jesus name.


Lord we sanctify this new week with the Precious blood of Jesus and we draw the blood line as a defence over us and our families. It shall be a week of great report in Jesus name.
