Just imagine the mindset of a so called 'political leader' who expects to tell a nation of gifted people who the best person to rule them is! Education is a right and not a privilege as John Dewey once stated in “Thinking in Education”. A student willing to learn will most likely think incongruously than others who are not willing to learn. But this is the issue with being ruled by quota system products! The right of an education is often viewed as an obligation and will be frequently taken for granted. They can’t borrow to prepare the nation for a better tomorrow, but they can borrow that same amount to purchase luxury high end SUVs for another nation that did not beg them! What a generation of myopic leaders!!
