In the year 2020 alone, Malaysia earned 36.87 billion Malaysian ringgit from palm produce. Which converted to Naira is about N3 trillion! Is that not enough to put a dent in our national debts?? The palm tree is so under appreciated in this country, especially when u realize that that plant was introduced to Malaysia by the British with only Nigerian palm trees! Most people don’t even know that their vegetable oil used in cooking is made from palm oil, same as chocolates. Nice one from Okowa, I hope whoever comes next does not abandon this project. Continuity is always a big issue in dis our nation.

I don’t see what is unjust about his incarceration. Any lawyer can be remanded for contempt and continue with his/her case whenever they finish their time. The judge is in charge of the court & not the lawyer. She sent a journalist out of her courtroom and he decided to make a scene out of it, how else would it have played out? The lawyer does not determine which part of the court proceedings will be open to the public or not. I doubt even the late revered Gani Fawehinmi would see the sense in what he did in that courthouse.
