Anyone here using Roqqu Virtual Card?

Updated. Still crazy charges. $1/740.
All of these Fintechs are just exploiting innocent hustlers, with their virtual card rate. Chipper cash is worse $1/765

Pocketapp is a little bite fair $1/698 but d downside
is,
If you spend $1-80 they charge $1, $80-$150; they charge $2 and it goes on like that.
But what do we do, when government makes physical credit cards useless......

Sav is declining pocketapp virtual card and chipper cash. I don't know why!

Hey guys, I just sold a domain via Afternic's fast transfer network but i need to ask, do I just wait around to get paid? I don't have to do anything about the transfer right? And how long does the transfer take? Domain was registered on Netsol btw.
The transfer is automatically handled by afternic, when the buyer get the domain, how long depends on buyers response, they will notify you about the payout once the transfer of ownership is completed

boss if i am not mistaken.
you placed an un-registered name on the auction marketplace?
is that possible?
Though I don't understand what u meant by un-registered name. The auction I won is a caught dropped domain by dropcatch. We were just two bidders on it.

I forwarded a domain to an enduser's website and i later deleted the forwarding but till now the domain is still forwarding to the enduser site - it has been up to 3days - please, what could have been the problem?
Are you sure you have remove the end-user URL from forwarding. Pls check very well. If that is done, remember to change the name server to your marketplace nameserver. That should resolve the issue.

Crazeworld:
It's a very good question. There are different reasons but the most important is for upgrade.

1. For upgrade.
Most start-ups are financially constrained when setting things up so they may not be able to afford the best name for their business. The next best thing to do in such cases would be to register lesser extensions or add prefixes/suffixes to find available names. They could even decide to go for a different name entirely from the keyword they would have loved to use. Facebook started as The Facebook, Nike was formerly called Blue Ribbon Sports, Xiaomi upgraded to mi.com, etc. There are many of those upgrades every month which doesn't make the news.

2. Traffic
Some domain names which has been used in the past has good traffic. If such domains are redirected to a new website, they will help the domain gain visitors especially if the contents on the referring domain is related to what the new website offers. For example, if Nairaland.com were to shut down and the domain is redirected to a blog like lindaikeji, the traffic the referring domain provides alone will make Linda Ikeji's website the most popular among Nigerians. More visitors means more money.

3. Authority
A good domain conveys authority in that industry. Amazon is a top brand already but they have some very good one-word domains redirecting to their website as well. Which would you trust more between shoes.com and WeSellShoes.com? Having shoes.com redirecting to your e-commerce store for example would make people buy more from you. Some top brands also acquire solid names which can help them diversify in the future. You can also call it brand protection. I think Amazon owns Accept, Look, Exchange, all in dot com.

That aside, having Geo domain names redirecting to your website confirms you as authority in that city who offers that service. Names like AustinPlumber, DallasRealtor, ChicagoDentist, SeattleFlorist, etc. will get snapped up by businesses if they are available even though one of them (realtor) is a trademarked word.

4. Staying ahead of competitors
As weird as this sounds, some business owners acquire domain names pitched to them not because they need it but because they would rather other businesses don't have it. This is the reason why some Geo domain names bought by end users don't redirect away from where it sold even though the person that purchased it is still in business.

I believe others will explain more.
Nice read bro, you just gave another nugget for sales email template.

In this industry we need be careful since Government has reduced online card transactions. People sometimes help me here buy domains and i transfer the naira equivalents to them. I humbly appreciate you all that help me one way or the other.

Now i belong to a domain telegram group, where once in a while i chat up people, read conversations and others.

Now someone posted we buy the lets extract software, the person may also be in this thread but i don't know his username. So i indicated my interest this was like few weeks before Sapiosexuality posted his. He chatted me up privately and i told him when we are complete and ready to make payment he should buzz me up for my own funds. When the time came he asked me to send my funds 10,070 naira since we were 10, i sent and he paid a PayPal guy to make the payment. Days turned to weeks and its going to a month, paypal guy hasn't responded according to him. I asked him how much we contributed in total that was sent to this PayPal guy, and he said 100,700naira. And from all indications he doesn't have much information about this paypal guy.

So please let's be careful of online transactions with people this period. Note PayPal was used because he said the rate was cheaper as to barter card.

Sorry for any typography or punctuation error.
@legalwealth should have been the best exchanger for this kind of transactions, tested and trusted. He even has physical office and he has a good reputation.

Great. Can you share with us where you got the name and what where the factors that u considered before registering it especially as it's a three word COM. Tnks[/quote. Drop from ED and handreg with dynadot. What makes me to reg it? Three worded domain sells when business is built around it.

Sold
Easypayfinancial.com for $950 on payment plan.
I got offer of 200 for this domain Jan, we negotiated to 950 but the buyer refused to pay. I have forgotten that I have adjusted the BIN to $950 since then, with lease to own.
Just got msg from Dan that's is being sold on payment plan to another buyer. First $106 instalment received.

Who else is finding the btc withdrawal time on Dan too long? Over 24 hours and counting. Never experienced this before.
It may be because of blockchain traffic that cause the delay or it might because of the the crash, who knows?

It's no longer news that most bank's international spending limit is now $20 including Gtbank. This shouldn't be a problem as there are some few registrars out there that supports paying with bitcoins. Simply fund your bitcoin wallet from a third party and use it to make your purchase.

Epik.com and namesilo fully supports this though it's much cheaper at Epik; $7.99 for a dotcom.

Alternatively you can open a domiciliary account and request for a dollar MasterCard. This has no spending limit so far you have the dollars
it has been a worrisome situation for me, but what am thinking is to make use of virtual card link it to PayPal may be it would work. Just thinking.
Naija has been a hell of place to do biz..... seriously
