Christianity EtcRe: Winners Chapel To Build A 100,000 Capacity Stadium-like Church. (photos) by OlokoNla1(m): 3:31pm On Dec 13, 2015
sounds dense to me. why should a church support industry? do you think @ all or do u use ur brain before u spew nonsense? the great american industry was funded by Church? surely you are bereft of clear logical applicable thinking

i am also sure someone has mentioned that by using local labour and business men, they are directly or indirectly providing support you slowpoke

nextstep:
You're telling me that the steel, aluminium, plastic, and wood products have their origins in Nigeria? The banisters, chairs, lights, pianos, electronics, tiles, air conditioners, flooring, toilets, paint, etc all originated in Nigeria? That the machines to forge, bend, lift, and affix these items are made in Nigeria? Unless I'm mistaken the vast majority of inputs to this and many other projects end up feeding families not in Nigeria. Labour is bound to be made of Nigerian personel, but I'm not convinced that they constitute up to 1/20 of the budget.

In fact the only things I can think are truly Nigerian in origin are: cement, blocks, wood for roofing. The roofing sheets are either tiles likely made in Korea or sheets manufactured in China (albeit corrugated in Nigeria). They might deign to use Nigerian doors and windows, which is open to doubt.

My initial argument was that the money might have been better spent directly funding small Nigerian enterprises for production. You might be right that there's significant money given to contractors and suppliers in Nigeria, but I think you'll find that the lions share of profits leaves the country in one form or another
EducationRe: Bishop Oyedepo's Landmark University In Pictures by OlokoNla1(m): 10:17am On Nov 18, 2012
dadaic: @CyberG....Umm, a young man indeed, now, i am going to ask you 2 questions...

I do know these structures need cash to be maintained, the professors/lecturers needs to be paid, but then, a statement was made by Oyedepo saying there was a time he called out for an assembly and said how much do the student pay for their fees, he also said the cash used is what he used to take care of the flowers in his school...Now, my question is if they pay so much, their educational system should be of great standard, why do we have so many of them without jobs?

Now, if these structures can also be maintained with so much cash, why won't you also use the cash used to build such schools, and the cash used to maintain such structures, would also be used to maintain the company, the employees will in turn will provide an income where funds can be raised to build more companies, and more schools...

You mention Dangote, Adenuga, and Otedola, and i laugh at you, the system is corrupt, you don't need me to go over that again, Dangote at least has several companies and if i am wrong, at least they are paid at a rate of 90k, employing youths from several schools, schools that Oyedepo has built and the likes of others, Adenuga also employs a number of graduates and as well Otedola, and if they didn't work for their cash, i am not sure you would mention their names either, but then, they have created jobs, big boys in our country, that Oyedepo is yet to do.

You don't hear my name, i should go work for myself, i will do that, but i don't also hear your name as well, and so if i should work for myself, what then are you doing for yourself?
I think you are kind off Stupid and its a product of the weak thinking you must have been subjected to re: University Education. Were you taught that Universities produce Jobs or are a guarantee you will get jobs? some posts here are downright idiotic and shows the shallow agbero thinking that pervades most Nigerians

STARVATION POLICY

Then, but above all, the ending of the war itself that I’m accused of, accused of starving the Ibos, I did nothing of the sort. You know, shortly after the liberation of these places, Calabar, Enugu and Port Harcort, I decided to pay a visit. There are certain things which I knew which you don’t know, which I don’t want to say here now, when I write my reminisces in the future I will do so. Some of the soldiers were not truthful with us, they didn’t tell us correct stories and so on.

I wanted to be there and see things for myself, bear in mind that Gowon himself did not go there at that time, it was after the war was over that he dorn himself up in various military dresses- Air force dress, Army dress and so on, and went to the war torn areas. But I went and some people tried to frighten me out of my goal by saying that Adekunle was my enemy and he was going to see to it that I never return from the place, so I went.

But when I went what did I see? I saw the kwashiorkor victims. If you see a kwashiorkor victim you’ll never like war to be waged. Terrible sight, in Enugu, in Port Harcourt, not many in Calabar, but mainly in Enugu and Port Harcourt. Then I enquired what happened to the food we are sending to the civilians. We were sending food through the Red cross, and CARITAS to them, but what happen was that the vehicles carrying the food were always ambushed by the soldiers. That’s what I discovered, and the food would then be taken to the soldiers to feed them, and so they were able to continue to fight. And I said that was a very dangerous policy, we didn’t intend the food for soldiers. But who will go behind the line to stop the soldiers from ambushing the vehicles that were carrying the food? And as long as soldiers were fed, the war will continue, and who’ll continue to suffer? and those who didn’t go to the place to see things as I did, you remember that all the big guns, all the soldiers in the Biafran army looked all well fed after the war, its only the mass of the people that suffered kwashiorkor.

You wont hear of a single lawyer, a single doctor, a single architect, who suffered from kwashiorkor? None of their children either, so they waylaid the foods, they ambush the vehicles and took the foods to their friends and to their collaborators and to their children and the masses were suffering. So I decided to stop sending the food there. In the process the civilians would suffer, but the soldiers will suffer most.

Ojukwu was a lying motherfucking asswipe! he starved his own people, and Igbos being so gullible, stupid and easily decieved just fall for every shit told them! apodas

The bolded actually cracked me up. Your brain must be a cagey macabar dance to think that the east is less than other nooks of Nigeria in any area of human endeavour. I will leave you to wallow in the kind of ignorance that your kind are known for. Air head.
Mo'fucker! sounds like u either trying with Google translate or u got one of Achebe's books open beside you. speak simple English, if you studied your geography enough, you will also realize the east has the worst geographic landscape in Nigeria, nothing can sustainably grow on it

Marrying a white woman is totally yuck! cry

i mean, have you ever thought of the folllowing

1) they age FASTER than dates left in the sun to dry out. White women are only in 2 categories. Ages 12-30 and 30-90. they start to really wrinkle, stink and age from age 30, why do you think the anti-age segment of the cosmetics industry has suddenly boomed?

2) Have you considered that they really require a lot of care once they start to age and wrinkle. They bend over and loose shape and look like Golum in LOTR, they need walking sticks, poo in bed and loose their minds really early

3) mid life crisis which usually hits them at around 35 makes your marriage potentially unstable after they hit that age

this really is good! will a man down with cancer and receiving chemotherapy in saudi arabia, china and india be able to do these? his traducers had better be sober, repent of the evil they did to osun state and generations yet unborn while they held power for about 71/2 years. shortly they will be face to face with god at the judgment seat where mercy will be absent! honestly i'll be happy to see them change so we can have healthy politics cause the electorate will have more good options to choose from. for now it is acn,acn and acn when you talk of good governance. i'd like to see a mix of acn, pdp et al parading good governance.
are you smart @ all? are you educated for real? i mean, do you understand what focus or governance is all about? who gives a flying rats arse if he is dying of AIDS? the point is he should flipping perform. he will spend 4years containing and proving detractors wrong while running every week to Olashore's Iloko to play football

RomanceRe: New Relationship! Inter- Racial! Want To Make It Work: by OlokoNla1(m): 5:11am On Sep 02, 2011
Yes! Nigerian in Mexico, moved there several months ago with close friend of 9 years, is an Engineer and works in Mexico!

kistehsia,

Sorry, my advice will sound almost verging on paranoia:

1. Not many Nigerians go to work in Mexico
2. If a Nigerian could come as far as Mexico, he would have found his way to the US a long time ago. Even if it means going with coyotes.
3. Why Engineer? Emphasizing certain occupations seems like trying to throw a bait out.
4. If people in Nigeria could impersonate Ministers, the Nigerian President and even sell the house of an Australian couple behind their backs, then, appearing to be like some engineer in "Mexico" isn't that hard.
5. Why is the guy still not married? Any given reasons. Many Nigerians will regard a Nigerian woman who is single and 30 years old too old already. Why has he made exceptions to want to have a relationship with you?

Ok, there are more harder questions, but lest you end up regret and end up thinking ALL Nigerians are BAAAAD, I wanted you to take EXTREME precautions here. Not all Nigerians are bad. But many are capable of the most detestable things. Be careful!
Joskid, dont be a mumu please. I have friends who have moved to Mexico in the past 6-9years directly from Nigeria and are Engineers working for Schlumberger. Having said that, some of the assertions you make indeed are true, U never know, this doode may be some stray winchi trying to get into either teh states or Canada. anyhow, this white girl is just your typical bored Hot 47yr old Mumu, Hiss!

This is the most stupid assertion I've heard from this Fazaira A-hole. I mean, is she nuts? does she mean to tell us she is not aware of where corruption comes from? inflated contracts, kickback in government circles, inneficient contract tendering processes. is she so stupid to ask that churches set up audit firms to investigate tithes and offerings?

worse still, there are very dull people on Nairaland who delight in just posting comments equivalent of a dead roaches IQ. How does what you drop in church link to corruption? Is there not corruption in other parts of the world? Is the focus on how much gold, money etch being dropped in temples, mosques and churches the  focus?

nairaland has become a bedlam of fools eager to pander their roach fart opinion

BLOODY IBOS! at the forefront of everything that gives Nigeria a bad name. all oer SA,South East Asia, its the Ibos who have terribly diminished our reputation. in the past, you could fly to Singapore as a Nigerian and receive your visa on arrival, thanks to these Ibo scum, now that's cancelled.

Take a tour of SE asia and you will hear tales of woe perpetrated by these group of backward barbarians called Igbo and they have the guile and temerity to refer to themselves as humans.
