It's advisable you go there with your daughter, if your daughter gets to school an hour late, 8t won't hurt her as much as it would hurt you if you get back to the embassy and they tell you your appointment time is past.
They don't follow the appointment timing. It's a matter of queuing, dropping your passport and photograph and leaving.

Please how can I get the Application ID or Case Number? Is it the same thing as the confirmation number on the DS 160 form submitted?
Yes, it is the same as DS 160 number.

You can use the application tracker to check if your visa was issued

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=NIV

Thank you. It was issued.

I just got an email “Your document(s) have been collected from the US Embassy/Consulate”

Is this the pickup email? Or do I have to wait for another?
That is the pick-up email.

Submitted my passport using IW on 9th March.

Got an email today that my passport is ready for pick-up. My status on ustraveldocs also reflected that.

Good afternoon guys,

Please I have an IW appointment for 630am. I also usually drop my daughter off in school at 7. Can I drop my docs at a later time than is scheduled for me on the same day?

Thanks.
Yes, it doesn't matter. They do not follow the timing on your appointment. Everyone queues to submit irrespective of timing (first come, first serve). My appointment was for 7:30am but got there around 8:30am.

I give up. You don't know anything. Last year, Buhari had security meetings with service Chiefs. Chief of Army staff was invited. But Irabor, who is the Chief of Defense staff and supervises all the arms of the Armed forces was left out. Tongues were wagging. Angst in the Land. Some suggested he pulled out than facing disgrace and embarrassment. Where were you then?
Needless glorifying you with further response. You are not informed. You know next to nothing.
Kai! Olodo.
This is a lie.

Please those that just got dates for their Dropbox should note that the documents are to be submitted at the Consulate (Walter Carrington Crescent) and not the DHL office. DHL office is for passport pick up/collection only.

Documents to take along are: DS160 confirmation page, interview appointment letter, passport, GTBANK visa fee receipt and 1 or 2 passport photos…

I notice one requires two cm by 5cm passports. Kindly confirm that there are photographers at the embassy area.
Also, how long did the process take? A few mins to drop off?
My appointment is for 7:30am

@justwise @ everyone please.

After submitting application online, is there a follow-up interview?
Is medical report required as part of the documents to be submitted online? I don't see it listed as a document here but It is on the immigration website.

I don't understand.
Good question. Work is remote. But preference is to have someone that can meet physically from time to time, maybe on a monthly basis.

Attahiru the real Chief of army staff would not be going for these meetings just like he didn't go to zamfara.

But he can send the only handpicked Southerner in their midst just for publicity like eneche while they would be wrecking their jihad fulani controls from behind scene

Your sheer ignorance is alarming...blinded by ethnicity and hate.

Sports / Re: Lionel Messi: Does Man City Really Need The Barcelona Star? by olowoba2: 7:33am On Feb 24, 2021
mansakhalifa:
I said it here:

He is going to come the EPL thinking that it is anything like what obtains over in Spain. But then, at some point, he is definitely going to realise that the EPL, on its own, is a different beast entirely. Untamable.

To be honest, considering his age and other factors, I do not see him doing any sort of magic in the Premier League.

The only advantage that can come out of such a transaction is purely of the financial kind. City will definitely make loads of bucks from signing that guy for sure. Think about all the branding, sponsorships and merchandising that could possibly follow a player of that calibre to the Etihad to start with. They won't even have to stress themselves.

But on the field of play... sorry, I don't see him doing anything special cos the factors in the EPL will curb quite a number of his excesses.

Just my stray thoughts.

You need to focus on profit and not revenue.
It will cost a load of money to sign and pay Messi. Man City may have to break the bank to get Messi signed. Did you see the recent revelation of contract with Barcelona? Why do you think clubs tend to offload players to be able to balance the books?

Yes, he might see some increase in revenue due to additional merchandise, branding and publicity but then these might not be able to cover for the cost of having Messi in Barcelona.

Man City will most likely gain in publicity branding and social media influence while hoping to win additional trophies. But money wise, I doubt sincerely.
