I recently noticed my boy complaining of itching on his back. When I checked I noticed is boil. I quickly googled it and found out is chickenpox.

I took him to a chemist and it was diagnosed as one. Please house what must have caused it?

Picture attached.

Viewer discretion

Lol. Nothing to be afraid of. It means he never had it during childhood cos you can only have it once in a lifetime.

After 2 or 3 days, he will stop itching and after a few more days, every scar will disappear completely.

Relax.

Hi Everyone, treat it as urgent!!!

Will my wife and daughter require a digital photo for the SOWP and Visit visas on Gckeys? My approved study permit, which I submitted through the New portal last year, didn't require a digital photo, and even a visit visa on the new portal didn't need to.

If YES, Pls any recommended Photo lab (Ikeja, Ikorodu axis).

OR, Can any photographer take a digital photo so far they follow the photo guideline?

I don’t know whether we submitted the application but the study visa required a disgital photo and I used my phone camera.

You can use your phone camera once it is clear and you follow the requirements. Don’t waste money on photographers.

Almiron:
Lionel Messi’s World Cup victory post is now the most-liked Instagram post by a sportsperson in history

Lionel Messi has taken to Instagram for the first time since leading Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar on Sunday.

The iconic forward finally emulated the success of Diego Maradona in 1986, by lifting football’s most coveted prize after arguably the most dramatic World Cup Final in history.

Lionel Messi’s Instagram caption.

“CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!,” posted the 35-year-old. “So many times I dreamed it, so much I wanted it that I still don’t fall, I can’t believe it…… Thank you so much to my family, to all who support me and also to all who believed in us.

“We prove once again that Argentinians when we fight together and united we are able to achieve what we aim.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CmUv48DLvxd/?hl=en

Not true. As at now. 9:15am the most liked picture remains the ‘world_record_egg’ picture.

That should change in a couple of hours though given the like rate of Messi’s post.

Seun and admins should verify information before moving to front page.

I got banned tonight and now inadmissible to Canada for the next 5 years. I am devastated. This is the saddest day of my life beside my father's death

I just got my cas for my admission in UK and at the stage to apply for study visa to UK having paid my tuition fees. I am considering requesting for refund of my fees but I see from the school site that there must be tangible reason to request for refund e. g Visa refusal, I have not been refused UK Visa yet because I have not even applied. Visa application fee is too high for an application that has very slim chances of success. It will be double pain to proceed with the Visa application and be rejected and the school seemingly not ready to make refund without a concrete reason.

I need advise please my people

Sorry about the ban. Not so good but you will get past it.

You have too little details to give quality advice.

What was the reason for the ban? Did you falsify any documentation? Why can’t you challenge it instead?

Why do you think your chances of securing UK visa is low? Is it still based on the reason why Canada rejected you?

It doesn't take forever, my friend sowp was approved in 15 days and mine 7 weeks.

We both applied when our spouse were still in Nigeria and we got approved before they travelled. Do what is best for you.
I need your advice. When do you think his the best time to apply for SOWP for my partner? Before I get to Canada or after I get to Canada?

Hello

I have a peculiar question for those with experience.

I'm about to apply for my pgwp. My dilemma is on what to apply for my husband. He is already here on work permit which is expiring same time as my study permit viz 30th September.

My dilemma is on what to apply for him. My immigration consultant from my school says he will have to apply to remain as a visitor until I get a job in NOC A B or C. In which case he can't work.
Others are saying I should simply apply for an extension of his work permit in which case he would be on implied status and could still work.

For those that have gone through this, please what did you do?

Tough one.

Typically, your study permit should expire 3 months after the anticipated end date of your program. And your hubby’s SOWP should expire the same time as your study permit.

I am guessing you had 3 months window after your study. Why did you wait this long to apply for PGWP?

Two options basically:
Apply for PGWP immediately and simultaneously start looking for a job (NOC 0, A or B) job. If you are able to get a job, he can apply for open work permit extension under spouse of skilled worker (long shot but appears to be your best bet as he can continue working once he drops an application for extension).
Secondly, if he is working in an LMIA accredited firm, he may liaise with the company and change his work permit type to job specific work permit.

Both options are a long shot as you have limited time. Consult the international affairs department of your alma mata. They may have brighter ideas.

Do you know that u need stronger home ties and more convincing sop to get a visit visa approved. The approval rate for visit compared to sowp is very low.

Okay. Thanks a lot. Never knew. Was just focused on the processing time online.

IRCC will redirect you to apply for SOWP visa which is still appropriate for you and it is still temporary.
No they won’t. I am advising on the fastest route to get SOWP. Apply for visa first to Canada. Then apply for SOWP once you get to Canada.

It takes forever to get an SOWP if you are applying from Nigeria.
Always check the visa processing time online.

Why visits i would rather advice he applys for SOWP

SOWP takes too long if applying from Nigeria. Check average processing time for work permit from Nigeria. As at this morning, it is 57 weeks. It is better to apply for a temporary visa and then when you are in Canada you apply for SOWP.

Good day all. I need guidance on my visa processing to Canada. I got admission in a college in Canada. I'm to resume in January 2023. The delay was as a result of my transcript.I have accepted the offer. Looking closely at the processing time, I do not know if I can meet up. I need guidance please. Should I go ahead with the process? I need guidance please

You might meet up if you start NOW and submit within the next 1 week. Canada is currently dealing with a lot of backlogs as we speak particularly for Fall 2022.

But then, your application needs to be tight backed up with prayer or luck.

Good evening house,

For the Canadian Express Entry visa, wanna ask if any google professional certification is recognized or equivalent to Diploma/Bsc for express entry points.

I look forward to your enlightenment in this regard,

Thank you

Summary answer is No. professional certificates are not recognized as an additional diploma or degree for use in your Express Entry application.

It has to be an academic certificate.

Hello!
I have 4 urgent questions
1. For schools that receive tuition through western Union global pay, how do I make payments?
2. If I use Form A, in the bank details, when asked for bank’s IBAN, what should input as Canada doesn’t use IBAN
3. Can I pay tuition with a domiciliary account like transfer
4. Has anyone attended university of Prince Edward Island
(1) The Western union will typically generate a payment instruction. The instruction will include Bank name, bank address, beneficiary name, etc as may be required
(2) Leave it blank. Fill as much details as required
(3) Of course

I used Mpower

I have noticed generally that people who have good proof of funds tend to have their applications processed quicker and are most likely going to get a visa approval.

I know people who applied since May but are yet to receive a decision while some applied in June/July with solid proof of funds that have received PPR.

The most important factor for getting Canadian study permit is proof of funds. Else, go really prepared with all the right documentations / back-ups as well as a solid SOP indicating why you would come back after your studies.

Visa Approved!!!!

I have been a silent reader and observer. I am dropping this to encourage others on this wonderful platform who are waiting for PPR or waiting to even start the entire process. I am 38 years old with a study gap of 13years. I completed the masters program admission and visa application process myself.

Here is my timeline:
Application Submitted: 11th July
Biometrics: 14th July (updated on 22nd August after an email and webform)
Upfront medical: 20th July (updated on 29th August after an email and webform)
Eligibility started: 10th September
BVL: 10th September
PPR: 10th September

Due to the school enrollment deadline, I have already deferred my admission to the next intake which is within the 150days timeframe.

I pray that good news will locate everyone else still waiting.

Congratulations!!

Two questions - Have you been working for the past 13 years? And is it a self sponsored study? Are you planning to sponsor your education partly with MPOWER loan?

I wrote them that I have not goten decision from the IRCC concerning my visa approval, that my student account should not be charge for insurance as I dont know my stand yet.I paid for 1 year fee including student union, insurance all feel for 1 year.So they wrote me back that i have been withdrawn.I wrote a protest letter and I was told that If I dont show up in Canada by 12 of this month, that my withdrawal still stand. My school dont have Janauary seession and I am not even allowed to deffer unless I have rejection letter from IRCC and the last date for defferement is today

This is quite strange as most canadian institutions are aware of the unusually long waiting period being experienced all across the world. SOme Canadian institutions are even assisting students by reaching out the IRCC for any form of support, while offering online classes at beginning of the semester.

Do they have an online alternative until your visa is sorted out?

The idea to increase your chances (not saying you can't switch careers and get your visa) is by applying for courses related to your previous study or work experience.

Check your self, know the documents you can provide to back your application, check your finances and go for it.

Good luck.
Very true. It is usually easier to switch courses after securing the visa and resuming in school.

Good day my people. I want to marry a girl. She respects me so much. She is very intelligent and hardworking. She is productive. She has many talents.

In fact, during rainy season, she will leave city for her village and go to farm that is where she spens her annual leave. She cooks well, she can plait hair all styles and she can plait her hair herself of all styles. She is God fearing, always from work, church, domestic chores and other things at home that earns her money.

She is beautiful but has a curved back. My challenge is curved back, how can I overcome this challenge. Matured advice please.

You just want attention. And you think you will get the answer in a public anonymous forum like this?

Can't you visit a doctor or seek help online or on google?

It's advisable you go there with your daughter, if your daughter gets to school an hour late, 8t won't hurt her as much as it would hurt you if you get back to the embassy and they tell you your appointment time is past.
They don't follow the appointment timing. It's a matter of queuing, dropping your passport and photograph and leaving.

Yes, it doesn't matter. They do not follow the timing on your appointment. Everyone queues to submit irrespective of timing (first come, first serve). My appointment was for 7:30am but got there around 8:30am.
