Politics / Bode George Blasts Obasanjo – You’re A Serial Betrayer by Oloyenews: 8:58am On Dec 10, 2016
Bode George Blasts Obasanjo – You’re A Serial Betrayer

Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George has asked ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo to shut up and stop playing to the gallery through public criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He gave the advice in Lagos in an interview with TUNDE THOMAS. George also urged factional National Chairman of the PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff to accept reality, and stop any further act of prolonging the crisis rocking the party.

According to George, the Court of Appeal’s recognition of Eyitayo Jegede from Senator Ahmed Makarfi faction of the PDP is a tacit recognition of Makarfi’s faction as the mainstream PDP.

“Sheriff’s eyes should be open now. He has come to divine judgment. He and his followers should be remorseful and return to Makarfi’s mainstream PDP. Sheriff has been an embarrassment to PDP, he should stop further acts of rascality,” he declared. He spoke further on this and more.

What is your reaction to Eyitayo Jegede’s victory over Jimoh Ibrahim at the Court of Appeal, and the implication for the lingering PDP crisis?
The judgment has reaffirmed my confidence in the Judiciary and it will no doubt help to strengthen our democracy. It is a classic judgment. Before that judgment, the whole world was looking at us, but thank God for the judgment, which to me, represents victory of light over darkness.

Democracy is a tripod. The Executive, Judiciary and the Legislature. As an engineer, I look at democracy as a three-legged body, but the moment one leg is out of the structure becomes wobbling and it is no longer stable, and that’s why I have been deeply worried about the future of our democracy with the recent development from a section of our judiciary.

But thank God for that Court of Appeal ruling, Sanity is being restored, but we still need to be vigilant and I would recommend that the National Judicial Council, NJC should wield the big axe by sanctioning some judges whose conduct has become a big stain on the judiciary. I’m talking of somebody like Justice Abang.

See how the Court of Appeal came hard on him because of his professional misconduct for all these political masquerades purporting to be politicians that have been disrupting the peace of the PDP, all those strangers in PDP who purported to be friends of the party but actually wanted to destroy the party have now been silenced through the Appeal Court judgment.

Thank God that Chief Justice of the Federation has also expressed concerns at what is happening in the judiciary. He has also promised to restore sanity, we are happy at that.

On the implication of the judgment for both Modu Sheriff and Senator Ahmed Makarfi led factions of the PDP …?
Cuts in … I’m coming to that. The judgment has proved that all this while, Modu Sheriff has been playing a spoiler’s game in the PDP.

The Appeal Court judgment in a way, by recognizing Eyitayo Jegede from Senator Makarfi’s faction of the PDP as the party’s candidate for the recent Ondo State gubernatorial election has in a way confirmed that faction as the authentic PDP. It is time for Sheriff to quit honourably now. Not only that, he also owe us an apology for trying to destroy PDP.

You know what happened at Port Harcourt Convention when people from Sheriff’s faction tried all shenanigans to perpetuate illegality, God destroyed their evil plans. The situation was so bad that the crisis in the PDP got to a point when some people even thought that the party would never recover from the crisis, but thank God for divine intervention.

That Appeal Court judgment made my celebration to be double as I’m celebrating my 71st birthday, and this judgment also came as double celebration for me.

In politics, you know that a political party is like a police station,. The door is never locked, the door is always opened, and you have all manners of people in a political party, rapists, armed robbers, intellects, hooligans, they are all there, all manner of characters.

But what you should ensure when you are fielding candidates for political offices is that rapists are not put in charge of Women Affairs, armed robbers are not put in charge of the Treasury, but everybody should have a say in a political party to manage all kinds of characters in a political party, requires wisdom and grace from God.

If Modu Sheriff and his followers have a sense of remorse, you will pardon them, but we can’t drive them away. You don’t drive people away from playing politics. My appeal to Modu Sheriff is that he should allow peace to reign. \

He should return to the main fold PDP. The PDP umbrella is big enough for all of us. He and his followers have been playing God, but with the court judgment God has proved Himself.

He and his followers have tried their rascality, it didn’t work, they should come back to the fold. They should also be remorseful. Let us all rebuild our party. The PDP umbrella that Sheriff is trying to tear apart is too strong for him.

Are you making a personal appeal to Sheriff now that he should give peace a chance in PDP?

Crime / Core Reason Why We Ordered DSS To Raid Judges Home – AGF, Malami by Oloyenews: 10:58am On Nov 30, 2016
Core Reason Why We Ordered DSS To Raid Judges Home – AGF, Malami

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami has admitted that his office ordered the Department of State Services to carry out the recent raids on the homes of some judges.

According to him, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had no exclusive rights to any investigations, including matters relating solely to financial crimes.

Malami spoke in Abuja when he appeared before an ad hoc committee of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly.
The committee, which is chaired by Mr. Garba Dhatti, is currently investigating all cases of invasion of property and arrests of persons by the DSS from May 2015 till date.

The AGF told the committee that there were reasonable grounds to justify the arrest of the judges, looking at the high number of petitions that had been received by his office, the DSS, the EFCC and other anti-graft agencies.

Citing Section 15 (5) of the 1999 Constitution, he stated that the state had a responsibility to halt all acts of corruption and could deploy any agency with the capacity to achieve that purpose.

Malami also told the session that judges had no immunity against prosecution, adding that there was no requirement of law which stipulated that only the EFCC must investigate financial crimes.

Asked whether he ordered the raids on the homes of the judges, Malami replied, “When we are talking about constitutional obligations, it goes without saying that all state instruments, Ministries, Departments and Agencies are under obligation, inclusive of the legislature and the judiciary, to take steps that will abolish all corrupt practices.

“It is in respect of that obligation that whatever issues that arose from the search and arrest of the judicial officers were carried out.

“The state was in receipt of multiple petitions of corrupt practices by the judicial officers and there was further apprehension that if immediate steps were not taken, the possibility of destroying existing evidence that were believed to have been kept within their respective domains would eventually be tampered with.

“Arising from the responsibility created and established by Section 15 of the constitution, the state had to act.

“But, the question of which agency has the responsibility of executing it, my response to that derives from the fact that multiple petitions were written to the Office of the AGF, DSS, EFCC and a lot of other agencies of government.

“To my mind, I have a discretion to look at and weigh the situation and decide which agency against the background of the petition, who will act for the purpose of ensuring that the obligation of the provisions of Section 15 (5) of the constitution are carried out.

“So, whatever evolved from the search and arrest of the judicial officers revolved around the need to comply with the responsibility and obligation vested in them by provisions of the constitution and the need to ensure that the investigation was not in any way tampered with negatively.

“These were the circumstances that led to the operations. It was a clear exercise of the constitutional mandate in respect of what is expected of the State to abolish corrupt practices.”

The AGF explained how his office felt compelled to act after it became apparent that the NJC would not act on the petitions before it.
He added, “When we got the petitions, I had cause personally to write to the NJC, requesting that they take administrative steps to investigate the allegations contained in the petitions.

“A response was made to my office that the NJC could not act unless the petitions were accompanied with affidavits. But, I felt there were no reasons why the petitions could not be looked into on their own merit by placing sanctions on the AGF, while it was a constitutional obligation.

“Incidentally, multiple petitions were also written to the DSS and I requested that they equally write to the NJC to look into the petitions, but it was the same response the DSS got from the NJC that without a supporting affidavit the petitions could not be looked into.

“So, we have a situation where there is reasonable grounds for suspicion for commission of corruption and we have a body saddled with the primary administrative responsibility of looking at such things first, but it seems not to be cooperating in that respect.

Rivers 2016: I Dare Gov. Wike To Make The Video He Said He Has Public – Rivers Police Commissioner

Rivers State Police Commissioner, Francis Mobolaji Odesanya has challenged the Governor Nyesom Wike to keep to his threat and make a video footage he claims he has public.

The Commissioner who spoke through the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Omoni Nnamdi, frowned at the sad trend by the governor who has recently taken to blackmailing personalities and institutions of government for cheap political gains.

DSP Nnamdi while reacting to the allegation said:

“It is sad that the state governor has chosen to drag the Commissioner’s name into his politics.

The Police remains true to its constitutional mandate and apolitical. Police men do not vote during election duties and they don’t also carry weapons to polling units, so I wonder which role the police will play to rig elections in Rivers State.

FRSC To Raise Driver’s Licence, Number Plate’s Fees – Oyeyemi

The Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, has cried out to the Joint Tax Board (JTB) to facilitate the payment of over N700 million owed it by various states in the country.

He also said the commission was tinkering with the idea of increasing the cost of procuring the driver’s licence and vehicle plate number, stressing that the current rate of N6,000 and N12,000 for both items respectively, was no longer sustainable judging from the hike in operational cost.

Speaking at the 136th meeting of the JTB held in Abuja yesterday, the Corps Marshall said the debt was crippling its operations nationwide, adding that its running cost keeps swelling as many states have failed to supply generators to the FRSC offices where vehicle plate number plates and drivers licence are procured.

He however hailed some states like Anambra and Delta for offsetting their debt, even as he urged others to toe the same path.
“FRSC is owed N700 million. I’ve written to the JTB. We need this money badly because it’s hurting our operations. Some states have credit balance of millions. We offer credit facilities but paying for service rendered is now very key.

I hope the JTB intervenes”, he said. On the plate number and driver’s licence, Oyeyemi said the FRSC was spending much more to produce the two items due to recession, a development that is forcing the commission to push for an increase in the cost of procuring them.

“N6,000 to get a driver’s licence and N12,000 for vehicle plate number is too poor. We are spending so much to produce them. I’m running over 200 in stations across the country. I shouldn’t be providing that. The states should.

“When I came in last year, the popular Mikano generator was N1.5 million, now it’s N3.8 million. Only Kwara State provided a generator. Majority of the states defaulted in providing that.

All states should have secured offices. They should own these stations and I want to relocate workstations there. I want to stamp out corruption. Enough is enough.

Ahead of the December 10, 2016, legislative rerun elections in Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike has announced that the State Commissioner of Police has withdrawn majority of policemen providing security for him.

The governor also called on youths in the state to protect their votes and the mandate of the people, despite the planned deployment of security personnel for illegal electoral purposes.

Flagging off the reconstruction of Igbo-Etche Road on Friday, Gov. Wike claimed that the security infraction is orchestrated to intimidate him and that it will not succeed.

He said: “As I speak with you, the Commissioner of Police has withdrawn the security around me. It is God that will protect me. As a governor, the Commissioner of Police has the effrontery to withdraw my security. There is no limit to this kind of intimidation and impunity.”

He said despite the assault by the Commissioner of Police and security agencies, nobody in Rivers State will be intimidated by the political antics of the police.

Politics / EXPOSED: Reps Finally Fires Back At Obasanjo – What They Revealed Will Shock You by Oloyenews: 9:37am On Nov 25, 2016
EXPOSED: Reps Finally Fires Back At Obasanjo – What They Revealed Will Shock You

The House of Representatives has replied former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s latest attack on the leadership of the National Assembly, describing the former President as the grandfather of corruption in Nigeria.

The Chairman, House Committee on Media & Publicity Abdulrazak Namdas said ;“It is unfortunate that he has started his very familiar method of bringing down governments.

He did it to Alhaji Shehu Shagari, he did it to Gen. Buhari, he did same to Gen. Babangida, he attempted to bring down Gen. Abacha before he imprisoned him for treason; he made frantic efforts to derail the government of President Ya’ardua when he couldn’t use him.

He supported President Goodluck Jonathan but when he refused to take dictation, he turned against him. He supported President Buhari, but since he has sensed that Nigeria is having economic difficulties under him, he has pounced to derail his government.

“The way Chief Obasanjo talks gives the impression that he is a lifetime opposition leader who has never held any office. What did he do about the issues he raised in his 8 years as President?

The lawmakers also accused Obasanjo of being the grand father of corruption in Nigeria

“He ventured to accuse the National Assembly of Budget padding, accused the House of criminal activities of threatening the life of a “whistleblower”, lampooned constituency projects which he approved as President, ventured to discuss the budget of National Assembly which is highly underfunded?

“The House of Representatives would ordinarily not join issues with the former President as he has held an office that deserves respect and reverence. However, because of the material misstatement of facts, outright lies and falsehoods, and mischievous innuendo introduced in his statement, we are left with no option but to correct him.

“We have repeatedly maintained that there was no “padding” of the 2016 Appropriation Act, which is a legitimate document passed by the National Assembly, authenticated by the Clerk to the National Assembly as provided in the Acts Authentication Act and assented to by Mr. President.

It is most unfortunate that a former President of Chief Obasanjo’s stature would allow himself to be hoodwinked and procured by a renegade member of the House, who embarked on massive propaganda and lies just because he was removed from office. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no crime that was committed by the National Assembly by exercising its constitutional function of appropriation.

If Chief Obasanjo has an issue with the execution of the 2016 Budget or indeed other Appropriation Acts, he should direct his anger elsewhere.
“ He claimed that the National Assembly Budget is very high, when by all standards, the National Assembly is grossly underfunded and is hampered from effectively and legitimately carrying out its Constitutionally assigned functions.

The National Assembly Budget funds a bureaucracy of about 5,000 civil servants.

It has some other agencies under its preview such as the National Assembly Service Commission with its own staff of about 500, even the Public Complaints Commission is now a parastatal of the National Assembly.

National Assembly Budget also funds the National Institute for Legislative Studies, which is a legislative think-tank and highly rated academic institution that serves both National and State Houses of Assembly and even international legislators.

All these agencies also have their capital budget including development of their headquarters, procurement of office equipment, procurement of regular items for running their offices; the National Assembly maintain legislative aides of about 3,000 in number, that aid the work of the Assembly; it also conducts regular public hearings involving the media and stakeholders and oversight activities, involving huge sums of money.
The cost implications of running the National Assembly is high because of the nature of our Presidential democracy.

Then of course, there are 109 Senators and 360 members of the House of Representatives, that require proper equipment to function effectively. They require adequate travel and transport support to carry out legislative functions.

The National Assembly also has buildings and offices to build and maintain. National Assembly staff and members attend conferences, trainings, seminars to keep abreast of legislative developments worldwide. The activities are very encompassing and expensive.
“ It is also unbecoming of a former President to quote figures of sums of money that are factually incorrect.

No member of the House of Representatives receives N10m every month. The salaries and allowances of members of the House are as determined by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

Of course further sums of money are spent as running costs, that is, the cost of running the office of a member. If a Minister, Chief Executive or Director in a Ministry travels on official duties, for instance, do you include the cost of his ticket and accommodation as part of his salary or allowances?

Does the cost of stationeries and maintenance of equipment like computers used in their offices, form part of their salaries and allowances? These are some of the costs that must be taken care of by the National Assembly and the media calls these costs “jumbo pay”. For goodness sake, the National Assembly is an arm of government, not just an ordinary agency of government.

“The Budget of many agencies in the Executive Branch are indeed higher than the current Budget of the National Assembly that is an arm of government. Examples abound, CBN, NNPC, NCC etc. Allowances paid to even junior staff of some of these government agencies cannot be compared to what members of National Assembly enjoy.

“Undoubtedly, the former President Obasanjo is understandably angry with the National Assembly as an institution having foiled his ambition for a third-term in office even after trying to corrupt the members with a bribe of at least N50m each.

The kidnappers, who reportedly confessed to have come from Delta and Enugu States, said kidnap ‘business’ was easier for them in Calabar, hence, the need for their relocation into the state.

Luck, however, ran out on them when they had snatched a car belonging to one Mrs Joyce.

They were said to have pushed her and her baby out of the car. The woman raised the alarm and residents gave them a hot chase.

UNBELIEVABLE: 24-Year-Old Man To Face Possible Jail Time Over Alleged Threats To Assassinate Donald Trump

A 24-year-old man from Ohio was arrested and faces possible jail time after posting that he’d like to see Donald Trump dead, along with a vague plot to blow up the entire United States.

Zachary Benson says he was watching the election results on television when he “went too far” and posted a pair of inflammatory threats on Twitter.

The tweets, posted just after 1 a.m. on November 9th, are exactly as pointless as you’d expect:
It’s not entirely clear why Benson — who goes by ZeeAyeKeyKay on Twitter — started his tweet with “Diplomacy” when he clearly meant “Democracy,” or how broad “general areas” really is, but suffice it to say that the man is not of sound mind. His second tweet, which arrived about 15 minutes after the first, is equally misguided:

“Diplomacy. Fucking Fools. I hate you all. I want to bomb everyone of your voting booths and your general areas.

“My life goal is to assassinate Trump.

Don’t care if I serve infinite sentences. That man deserves to decease existing.”

It seems that Mr. Benson could use an English lesson and a grammar course before posting his next assassination threat. Basic communication skills aside, bomb threats and assassination vows aren’t taken lightly these days, and Benson rapidly found himself in police custody.

ABUJA: AEPB Seizes 31 Cows And 53 Sheep

The Abuja Environmental Protection Board has seized 31 cows and 53 sheep and their owners were charged to court for illegal grazing in the Federal Capital Territory.

The owners were fined various amounts of money by the environmental sanitation mobile court.

The AEPB Information and Outreach Officer, Samuel Musa, told Northern City News in a telephone interview on Thursday that cattle grazing had reduced in the FCT following the new approach adopted by the board.

He explained that the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association had partnered with the AEPB to enlighten its members about the illegality of cattle grazing in the FCT.

Musa said, “So far, we have arrested over 31 cows and 53 sheep for illegal grazing in the FCT. Our tough approach is paying off, as we now have fewer incidents of cattle grazing in the city.

“The cattle breeders association is also working with us to arrest errant herdsmen. Many of them were arrested with their cattle and arraigned in court and fined.”

EFCC Hunts For Fayose’s Sister Mrs. Moji Ladeji Over N200m Abuja Mansion

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is looking for Mrs. Moji Ladeji, the sister of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, over a N200m house located at 44 Osun Crescent, Maitama, Abuja, a highbrow area in the nation’s capital.

According to court documents, the building which has since been sealed off by EFCC was allegedly bought by Fayose from proceeds of corrupt practices but the title documents of the house bear the name of Fayose’s sister, a move the commission claimed was to cover the governor’s track.

Detectives told our correspondent that Ladeji, who is based in the United Kingdom, would need to explain her role in the alleged scam.

A source in EFCC told Punch that, “We have been able to establish that the house was bought from the proceeds of corrupt practices. The house was, however, bought in the name of Fayose’s sister. We need to question her to determine her level of involvement.

“We know that she is based in the UK but she comes to Nigeria quite often. We want her to come and tell us her side of the story.”

Fayose had sued EFCC for freezing his account following an allegation that he got N1.219bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser through a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, as well as kickbacks from state contractors.

However, in a counter-affidavit, deposed to by Mr. Tosin Owobo on behalf of the EFCC, the agency said Fayose used N1.219bn as well as alleged kickbacks received from the Ekiti State Government contractors to buy houses in Abuja and Lagos.

The governor allegedly got kickbacks from about four Ekiti Government contractors – Samchese Nig Ltd, Tender Branch Concept Nig Ltd, Hoff Concept Ltd and Calibre Consulting Ltd.

However, instead of receiving cash, the governor allegedly instructed the companies to buy houses for him in Lagos and Abuja.

The houses located on Tiamiyu Savage Street, VI, Lagos, are said to be worth about N1.1bn.

According to the EFCC, the houses were bought in the name of J. J. Technical, a company owned by Fayose and his wife, Feyisetan.

According to the EFCC, the houses in Abuja were bought with different names.

Rahim, who is the investigating police officer in charge of the case, also told the court that in the course of his investigation, he discovered that the Security guard at ‎the Palace one Sunday Okanlawon was shot in the head, but that he could ascertain how the Motorcycle rider Joseph Okeke died.

The defendants in the case: Duba Furejo, Ododomo Isaiah, Reuben Anthony and Yerin Fresh were arraigned by the state government on an eight count charge of conspiracy, murder, attempted murder, robbery, armed robbery , felony and kidnapping.

The defendants, who allegedly carried out the crime on July 16, 2016 at the palace of the monarch, were said to have attempted to kill the monarch’s wife, Olori Abosede Oseni while making efforts to dispossess her of her property at gun point.

TRAGIC: 82-Year-Old Mother Of Ifueko Okauru, Ex-FIRS Boss, Dies From Gunshot Wounds

82-year-old Mrs. Grace Onaiwu Omogui, mother of former Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mrs. Ifueko Okauru, died yesterday in a Lagos hospital, following multiple gunshots wounds she sustained from an armed robbery attack in Benin City, Edo State.

A statement released by her family, said the armed robbery attack took place in Edo State capital, on her way from the Sapele Road branch of the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB).

However, the exact date of the robbery attack was not disclosed in the family’s statement issued by her eldest son, Nowamagbe. Efforts by THISDAY to confirm the actual date of the attack from the family were unsuccessful.

Extolling her virtues, the statement by the family noted that, “Even in the face of unprovoked attack, she did what she does best: rightly questioned the indefensible actions of the armed robbers as she felt it was wrong.”

According to the family statement, the late Madam Omoigui, born on December 28, 1933, had an illustrious professional career, first as an educationist and former Vice Principal of Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Benin City, before she later became a lawyer, and eventually retired as a magistrate in the Lagos State Judiciary. She also represented the Federal Ministry of Education on the Nigerian delegation to India in 1988.

The statement reads: “Mama G, as she loved to be called, fought a gallant fight to live but the Lord decided that her time on this earth was done. She leaves behind a legacy of love to one’s neighbour regardless of cost and personal sacrifice. Even in the face of unprovoked attack, she did what she does best: rightly questioned the indefensible actions of the armed robbers as she felt it was wrong.

“Mum lived a transparent life through and through. She was the pillar behind the family and would do anything to preserve its good name and defend integrity. She positively touched many lives at home and at work and we believe her legacy of sacrifice, loyalty, hard work, fairness, love, integrity, the importance of family and God’s love will live on through everybody she touched.”

The statement said she was survived by her husband of 58 years, Surveyor Daniel Aiyanyo Omoigui, her children – Dr. Nowamagbe and Moira Omoigui; Dr. Sota and Helen Omoigui; Ifueko M Omoigui and Asishana Okauru; Eghosa and Eunice Omoigui; and Nosakhare Omoigui; and grandchildren, Ikponmwosa Omoigui, Ighiwiyisi Omoigui, Ayrton Omoigui, Iyegbekosa Omoigui, Izevbokun Omoigui, Grace Omoigui, Isiuwa Omoigui, Iyare Omoigui, Noe Ter Avest Omoigui, Iriagbonse Omoigui, Anni-Arie Omoigui, and Nete Okauru.

“We are heartbroken by this untimely loss but comforted by the understanding that this is the Lord’s way and our mum is resting peacefully in His bosom,” the statement added.

BIAFRA: Cleanse White House Before Moving In, Probe Obama – IPOB Tells Donald Trump

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) has advised the American President- elect, Donald Trump to “assemble prayer warriors and anointed men of God for spiritual cleansing of the oval office at the White House before moving into it after his swearing in on January 20, 2017”.

IPOB said purification of the White House had become necessary because of the favorable disposition of the current occupant of the American seat of power to same s*x marriage which is abhorred by God.

In a press statement issued by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPOB expressed displeasure that Obama chose to depart from the core values of America, “a country founded on God to pursue an unholy agenda against Christian communities and against the wish of Americans.‎

“It is very disappointing that Obama is busy exporting g@y marriage to the world instead of seeking justice for the oppressed”.‎
The statement declared that “we, the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra want to advise America President-elect, Donald Trump to first bring powerful men of God to cleanse the White House before packing in if he wants to succeed and bring back the face of God to America.

“God is unhappy with America because Obama has forsaken the godly principles of the founding fathers of America to preach homos*xuality”.
IPOB argued that Obama’s advocacy for homos*xuality drove away God’s presence from the White House, and “this is why God rejected him and his preferred candidate Hillary Clinton because God wants to restore the lost glory of America.”

IPOB also demanded the prosecution of Obama at the International Criminal Court at the Hague (ICC) for keeping silent over the indiscriminate killings of innocent and unarmed freedom fighters in different parts of the world “particularly the peaceful Biafran agitators.”

IPOB maintained that “America has a divine mandate of being the police of the whole world but Obama abandoned this and pursued an unholy agenda like same s*x marriage”.

“For this negligence of duty and conspiracy of silence Obama should be made to answer for his inactions”, IPOB insisted.

Nigerian Air Force Tasks Personnel On Flight Safety

In a bid to ensure flight safety, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has charged its personnel to be safety conscious and avoid habits that could impede operations for aircraft.

This charge was given by the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Logistics Command, Air Vice Marshal Sani Ahmed, at the weekend at the launch of NAF’s Flight Line Safety Campaign.

The campaign saw air personnel picking foreign object debris across the flight line at 401 Aircraft Maintenance Depot, Lagos.

After that, they were taken through some first aid drills by an official of the Nigerian Red Cross, Bright Charles.

Personnel were also lectured on safety in hangar and flight line environment, as well as engineering practices and procedures in the Air Force.

According to Ahmed, the two-day safety campaign was aimed at reawakening safety habits on the flight line.

FINALLY: Prophet TB Joshua Of Scoan Clears The Air On His False U.S. Election Prophesy – What He Said This Time Will Surprise You

The founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Temitope Joshua, on Sunday said his earlier prophecy on the U.S. presidential election was given different interpretation by people “on a different level” with him.

In his Sunday sermon, Mr. Joshua (popularly known as TB Joshua) said people would need the spirit of a prophet to be able to recognize one.
“We have seen the outcome of the election in America,” Mr. Joshua said in a message later posted on the church’s official website and Facebook page.

He also hinted that his reference to Hilary Clinton as eventual winner was reflected in her winning more popular votes than Donald Trump.
“Having read, you will notice that it is all about the popular vote, the vote of the majority of Americans. In this case, we need the Spirit of a Prophet to recognize a Prophet. Our levels are different. We are not on the same level.

“We might have great cathedrals, huge bells, and all kinds of activities that are good by human standards but human point of view is limited.
“1 Corinthians 1:25. The foolishness of God is wiser than that of men and the weakness of God is stronger than that of men. There is no shortcut to spiritual maturity unless earthly understanding gives way to spiritual enlightenment.”

Last Sunday, with two days to the US Presidential election, Mr. Joshua had predicted a “narrow” victory for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party presidential candidate.

SHOCKER: Why I Left My Lecturer Husband, Got Pregnant For A Bricklayer – Housewife

A university lecturer in Nigeria is facing a humiliating dilemma in his marriage.

Suraju Oyekunle, said to be a teacher at the Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos, is fighting hard to save his 13 years old marriage to Kafayat who has not only been unfaithful to him, but is pregnant for another man, according to a news report published by P.M.Express newspaper.

The real complication, however, is that Mrs. Oyekunle has openly confessed to being in love with the intruder, whom she said she prefers to spend the rest of her life with, the report says.

Interestingly, the intruder, Fatai Alimi, is a bricklayer.

The paper reported that Mrs. Oyekunle, 36, packed out from her matrimonial home in October when her husband travelled out of the town, and then moved in with Mr. Alimi, her new lover, who was living in the same Igando community where she and her husband were living in Lagos.

She preferred the bricklayer’s smaller apartment to her husband’s house, and she took along with her, a 12-year-old son she had for her husband.

Mr. Alimi, 34, was said to have been arrested by the police, and arraigned in court on Thursday for conduct likely to cause breach of peace, after the woman’s husband lodged a complaint against him.

FINALLY: FG Releases Details Of Money Released For 2016 Budget – MUST READ

The Federal Government has released the sectoral performance details of capital allocations in the 2016 Appropriation Act for the different ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) as at the end of October.

The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udoma, said on Friday last week that government had spent about N3.577 trillion, or 58.7 per cent of the N6.06 trillion 2016 budget.

The amount included a total of N2.44 trillion for capital, non-debt recurrent and service-wide vote expenditures, in addition to about N1.14 trillion, or 46.7 per cent paid out to service domestic and foreign debts.

The total expenditure also included about N44billion transferred to the Sinking Fund to retire maturing obligations on bonds issued to contractors handling various projects across the country.

He said all the releases had been cash-backed. In terms of performance, the minister said this translated to 79 per cent, in terms of the pro-rated budget allocation for the three quarters up to September 30, 2016.

Mr. Udoma described a total of N753.6 billion already released for capital expenditure in 2016 out of a total allocation of N1.8 trillion allocation approved for capital expenditure as the highest in the nation’s recent history, even in the era of low oil prices.

UNBELIEVABLE: Man Tears Neighbour’s Manhood Over Potty – What Happened Next Will Shock You

It was a simple household scuffle, which degenerated into fisticuffs. But when 24-year-old Okechukwu Chiagba woke up that day, he did not imagine that he would nearly lose his manhood over something as mundane as a potty.

But that was exactly what happened when he engaged in a scuffle with his neighbour, 41-year-old Michael Essien, a Calabar, Cross River State indigene, over accusation of using a potty without permission.

But by the time the dust settled, Chiagba had sustained a gory tear in his manhood that put him in the hospital for more than one week.

He explained to Saturday PUNCH that the incident that led to his injury began at 6am that day in the apartment building in which he lived with his wife (what is called face-me-I-face-you) in Shasha, Egbeda Lagos.

Chiagba said, “That night, my wife went out to use the toilet. We normally use potties. But when she got to where she put her potty, she could not find it.

“She came back to ask me but I told him I had not seen it. She went outside to look for it and that was when she saw our neighbour (Essien) coming out of the toilet with it.

“My wife came back to report to me. I was preparing to go out and challenge the man for using my wife’s potty when my wife cautioned me not to go. She said she would prefer to go and meet the man’s wife and talk to her. I agreed and let the matter go.”

According to him, later that morning, he went to work but when he came back in the night, he saw the potty at their entrance, even though they usually kept it out of sight in a corner of the house.

Chiagba said when he asked his wife about it, she said she did not know who put it there.

He said, “I picked the potty and put it under the staircase where we usually kept it. When I was returning it, Essien blocked my way and said I should not put it there again, I asked why and he said because my wife was accusing him of using the plastic.

“I told him that if my wife really accused him, all he needed was to deny or ignore her that he really did not use it. I tried to go past him and put the potty there but he pushed me to the ground. We were about to fight when neighbours separated us.

“I went inside and sat down. Later, I went to put on a boxer and sat outside to take fresh air. I was receiving a call when I heard ‘I will surprise you today. I will show you today.’ I turned around just in time to catch him as he rushed at me.

“We were fighting when he grabbed my manhood and held on to it so tightly that I fell down and fainted. I think he did not know that I had actually fainted because I was told he still held on to it even when I had passed out. I learnt that it took three men in the compound to force him to let go.”

Politics / $29.96 Billion Loan: Fayose Warns Buhari Not To Borrow – See Reason by Oloyenews: 6:38am On Nov 12, 2016
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has warned President Muhammadu Buhari’s government against borrowing $29.96 billion to finance the 2016 budget.

He said such debt will finally depress the country’s economy, calling on Nigerians to reject the decision.

Fayose, who accused the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki of giving tacit support to the Buhari’s move, warned that any attempt to subvert the wishes of Nigeria, whom he said had vehemently rejected the proposition will be tantamount to betrayal of trust.

The governor also predicted that a great implosion will soon rock the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) that would sign a death knell for the party before the 2019 general elections.

Fayose spoke in Ado Ekiti yesterday while delivering a lecture entitled: ‘Journalism: Antidote to Economic Recession’ to mark the 2016 Press Week of the Ekiti Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

Fayose, who criticised Buhari for blaming the past governments for the economic woes despite that he has spent one and half years in the saddle, said borrowing of such huge amount of loan from the international market would push the economy from the present recession to depression level.

Politics / NAS To Buhari, ‘stop Granting Amnesty To Militants’ by Oloyenews: 6:03am On Nov 12, 2016

The National Association of Seadogs, NAS, otherwise known as Pyrates Confraternity has told the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to stop granting amnesty to the Niger Delta militants, saying that the amnesty was encouraging criminality in the region.

National President of the group, Mr. Arthur Boje who gave the admonition in an interview yesterday, advised President Buhari to channel his energy on how to address the infrastructure deficit in the Niger Delta.

He argued that the agitators will have no reason to be rebellious if the basic infrastructures were made available, adding that the ongoing anti-corruption crusade in the country would help cleanse the ‘dented’ image of the country in the developed world.

According to Boje, the bulk of those agitating in the region were mainly doing that for their selfish reasons, not for the benefits of the communities. He said, “The Niger Delta Avengers believe that they have some form of control over oil pipelines that passes through their communities- that is why they are fighting. “At the end of the day they are actually looking for amnesty and compensations, they are not really fighting for the interest of the communities but their pockets.

Politics / SHOCKER: Niger Delta Elders, Leaders Pursuing Selfish Desire – MASSOB by Oloyenews: 5:28am On Nov 12, 2016
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra has carpeted leaders and elders of the Niger Delta region, alleging that they are working in concert with some Northerners to further impoverish the people of the region for their own selfish interest.

The leader of the group, Solomon Chukwu, who spoke to journalists in Owerri through the group’s Director of Information, Sunday Okereafor, also chided the leaders of the region “for sabotaging their people through their recent visit to Abuja for a 16-point agenda, including the granting of oil blocks.”

He argued that agitation for oil blocks in place of freedom and fundamental human rights of the people was nothing but misplacement of priority.

He urged the youth in the region to rise up in defence of their rights and freedom from “the suffocating claws of the Northern caliphate,” whilst dismissing the Federal Government’s recent promise to clean up Ogoniland and reconstruct the devastated Niger Delta region as a wild goose chase.

The Niger Delta Avengers have slammed President Buhari over what they have described as his demeaning treatment of people from the oil rich region.

The militants also accused the President of treating members of the Boko Haram sect like kings and queens.

They also warned Buhari not to enter into any deal with sycophants who only want to propagate their interests.

The militants’spokesman, Mudoch Agbimbo said “You cannot treat the Niger Delta region with disdain while you treat your brothers that are terrorists and kidnappers (Boko Haram) like kings and queens by committing the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement from Geneva to witness your transaction with them before they released their hostages to you.

BREAKING: AMERICA 2016, Republican Candidate, Donald Trump, Has Won The United States Presidential Election.

FINALLY Donald Trump defeats Hillary Clinton to emerge 45th US president

Republican Party candidate Donald Trump scored a stunning upset in today’s presidential election in the US, claiming some key battleground states and winning the state of Pennsylvania to beat Democratic Party rival Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton.

Had Mrs. Clinton won, she would have made history by becoming the first woman to be elected president in the United States. Mrs. Clinton would also have become the first spouse of a former US president to win the country’s top political post. Her husband, former President William (Bill) Jefferson Clinton, served two terms as president from 1993 to 2001.

Results of nationwide polling in today’s election show that Mr. Trump has secured more than the 270 electoral college votes to claim victory in a bruising election that some analysts regard as one of the most divisive in the history of the US. Most presidential polls over the last few weeks had suggested that Mr. Trump would lose to Mrs. Clinton, his Democratic Party challenger.

Controversies dogged Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign. He showcased an unorthodox political style and often denigrated his main opponent as well as TV hosts, disabled people, Mexicans, Muslims, and immigrants.
