mayorall: Osun state university ( uniosun ) management in talk with lecturers to resume or follow FG directives.hope they call it off. |
philfearon: My dear, which lecturers are you talking of? Those silly r.e.tarded bunch of hypocrites and mediocre's that read other peoples textbooks to their class instead of teaching? My dear, the truth is,most of this lecturers are rotten! "MOST!" in quote!u will be surprised so many lecturers will resume b4 d expiration... |
LogoDWhiz: u don't really know what you are saying.. Your mind is just biased.. Yes, the govt might have being insincere with things so far, but the president made the matter a priority and had a meeting with them to settle things. They cane out saying things are positive but the local chapters will have to vote, the vote was conducted and it was in the favour of calling off.. That should be all, suspend d strike, if govt fails to follow up what they said, then continue the strike.. Instead they came out with new negotiations in a secret location just to elongate things...they should have done this...call off d strike, continue with negotiation..but made d public aware that u are ready to go back to strike.after some time if govt didnt keep part of its bargain. |
onyibajoe: With all due respect to Mr President, he shouldn't have allowed Wike to get involved in this whole thing as the only thing he knows how to do is to heat up the polity. The President should have completed what he started. ASUU members are not foreigners. We have all seen that till now, the ASUP who were asked to go back to classroom and they did had to go back on strike due to insincerity and irresponsibilty of the FG. Let us all be mindful that the FG is yet to tell us that of all what ASUU placed as conditions to call-off the strike, this ones we can and the other(s) we can not meet. That is negotiation and I expect it to be treated as one and stop deceiving Nigerians. An effort by ASUU to solidify their achievement is not a bad one. Wike is the "wrongest" person to appear on this screen. Objectively, forcing ASUU back to the classroom is not the best because it won't bring to an end the issue of strike in our tertiary institutions. Our govt is just insensitive to the plights of our students. Who told you it's in our interest that the lecturers be forced to go back to work just like that? Who for do am? Who doesn't know the kind of leaders we have in Nigeria? In my objective view, this matter has been made simple by ASUU. The govt should stop deceiving the people and do the NEEDFUL. I still maintain that the govt is guilty in this whole palava. All those happy about this directive by the govt(Wike) should be ready to embrace the worse strike in history after this. I hope they have bought enough ropes to bundle the lecturers back to classrooms. ASUU is far from the major problems we are facing in Nigeria. Let's be sincere to ourselves. Just wishing Nigeria had an administrator as president.hopefully state universities will pull out of dis mess |
sagombugo: I thought we have travelled through this thoughtless road before with the UNILORIN expelled lecturers who were reinstated by the Supreme court and the university compelled to pay them all their arrears even after several years just because they stood firm with ASUU!after how many years?? those unilorin lecturers will till end of their life regretted their actions..,some of.them.died in the.struggle, and even though they were reinstated by court after almost a decade, the university frustated the court injuction, and till today, some of those lecturers remain in limbo.. |
ASUU strike should be rightly labelled the joke of the century!! |
eluquenson: This is military system by a civilian. So you want to force them back to the class. If not you sack them? You always sacking Sir,but remember the whole Nigeria will sack you onedey. You claimed to be an ex-lecturer. I wonder what type you were. You are finally showing your true colors and feeding us with violent fresh air. This is Tyranny.you are a fool..even a mad man should know ASUU has lost their objectives for this strike...keeping students at home in the name of fighting for them is the joke of the century! |
if they have indeed join apc, then pdp has shot themselves in the foot, thats practically the end of jonathan and pdp why?? this governors are powerful people controlling the cheif states in the north and will decamp along with their followers, including those law makers in the national assembly,if jonathan is depending on the southsouth and southeast for his election bid, then he is delusional..for a single of those states, niger state,(considering northern states are large)is bigger than all southsouth combined.. |
Richydos: M xo sory if i sound stupid wit da insult.....d whole situation is really getting up on moi,,,,i jst wish d xo called nans cne stand up 2 itx responsiblities n surely m ready 2 canvass n join em if i see any....once more i say sorryi can feel ur frustation...but we are all going through exactly d same thing. |
Emzybrown: i am boiling writing this shit, what is national youth council of Nigeria doing? where is national association of Nigerian students leaders? what is the usefulness of conference of student union presidents? dont we have radical youth movements? until anybody answer this questions, am totally fed up.....NANS as an organisation is a shame and disgrace.. |
Osgilliat: To the students that want to take action rather than shouting ASUU ASUU...let us show these bastards son of a thousand fathers what we are capable of...whenever,wherever you sighted ASUU bus or any inscription of ASUU on anything just pick up a stone and cast the first stone on those heartless organisation because you earned it and work away and you will be surprised after some minutes.let the rage of student complete what you have started.I think when faggae sees some headlines like ENRAGED STUDENTS DESRTOYED ASUU VEHICLE IN ABUJA YESTERDAY.that might trigger his sense of reasoning that ASUU strike has lost its cause, when lecturers at unilag can protest the opting out of the strike then how much more of we.love this..but we nigeria students are too soft hearted and naive to do this.. |
Pat £inst£in:thanks for the correction...nobody is above mistake though. |
holarmideh: Yur just a senseless human being mann, you think ev1 is like you.abi na bro, that guy @thisisayus is as senseless as anything u will ever see..he is such a bollocks |
thisisayus: It doesn't have to make sense, all we knw is 'Ts so funny' *saddist*my opinion does not make me a saddist...and search the word "saddist" again in ur dictionary,to see the right meaning |
Richydos: Brethen of our bloved universities,,,it baffles me that d nigerian studs will b xo mute with d ongoing strike knowing fully well dat we are d ones actually suffering from it.....but come 2 look @ both parties FG n ASUU,,,xme wks back they both had a crucial meeting of which d resolution was taken 2 various congresses whether 2 call off d strike or not!!! Dear brethen behold most skuls voted for a call off on a 60-40 range n if that b the case won't it b constitutional wise 4 ASUU 2 av called off d strike but bhold dey came up with fresh demands terming it conditions 2 call off d strike n seeking 2 see d presd again!!! All m asking ASUU is of wat use is d nec meeting wher votes were collated n majority agreed 2 call off d strikekeep on preaching!!!, wat u advocate for is d truth, but men,na nigeria u dey, people would not even blink an eye |
ASUU wack organisation |
anyaekekehinde: read your statement again, what federal government wil all the billions of oil money cant afford, is it the poor and improvished ebonyi state that wil be able to afford it. What is even the IGR of ebonyi state. Now i know you have a logically dull mind. I was following you initially, but i hav to unfollow you now... Take it or leave 9O% of state universities are trash.education in nigeria is the most farcial, federal universities are as trash as state unis... but still to say 90% percent of state are trash is a huge understatement |
Dannyxy: Latest on ASUU: BREAKING NEWS!!.. Wahala dey oh, my five month old nephew just spoke his first words... The mum was changing his pampers when the boy in his tiny baby voice shouted "ASUU, ASUU"make no sense whatsover |
Fabulousmark: A beautiful 3rd year female student friend of mine just told me this true story of hers in university yesterday.you are a good fiction writer, keep it up...even a mad man should know ur story is unreal...threat made three weeks b4 ASUU strike, yet since then the person has failed her exams three times |
sambas: @Op girl fríend, l m on my knees begging just like the guy you contacted to wríte yöur exam for you. There is nothíng you can do since th€ main man has got you on this, the lecturer may be a guest on naìraland or his friends members ör guests too. Í know what i`m talking cos all most all the lecturers @ my location are guests here, you may suceed ín settin up the lecturer but the guy that wrote the exam for you may beat craze man out öf you cos u wil suceed in ending hís care€r. so my own token is.............. To dö what the lecturer wants, since you are not marri€d it wont hurt anybody..... you wil b happy, the lecturer wil be happy...... just 1hr wíl save her all the stress. schöol may resume mönday, so let her start practising all th€ styl€ before monday.. thís may make the lecturer forget the #50k....u are a fool....rubbish....can u sanely advice ur own child to do this?? |
wokasor: There is reasonably no need for EBSU to run out of patience. 4 months plus is not a period to toy with. It appears that this school is ready to operate in isolation; nonethelless, the school shall still meet with their branch of ASSU "on the way to calvary".u aren't a student?,are u? ,otherwise u did know the meaning of frustation... secondly, haven't you noticed that this strike has turned to a complete joke??,after taking months to reach an agreement with d fg?,whom even make concessions, they suddenly started making fresh demands again....the strike may as well go on till next year with d new developments.. and for those saying their resumption can't worked out..well many people said that during the unilorin saga...they must be biting their lips now.. u don't have the interests of your students at heart and keep them at home for 5 months or so,especially after the governments has also make concessions..and ASUU are really hypocrites ,for the revitalisation of our university system must start within ASUU if they are really keen in adressing the dross,ASUU as an organisation is probably as corrupt as the govt itself incase u don't know, more unis are ready to jettinson ASUU and called off this stupid and faceless strike why some people still supported ASUU,while continuing to hold all nigerians to ransom,i will never know |
lastpage: "SOUND EDUCATION" does not start and end by a "Lecturer" standing in front of the students! KPA! KPA! KPA!u are just an attention seeking fool.. |
