Alusiizizi: And if Russia does invade a NATO Finland or Sweden what do you think would happen? I think Finland and Sweden joining NATO won't cause any trouble. Russia currently can mot force the two countries not to join NATO and it does not has the capacity to wage another war against the two. But luckily for Russia, Finland has made it clear that it will not allow the US/NATO to have a permanent base or put any missile system in it's territory. Sweden is following the foot steps of Finland. She will likely make the same decision. NATO members like Norway, Hungary e.t.c don't have any US/NATO permanent military base or missile stationed on their territories. These two enjoy good relationship with Russia. NATO was created to counter the USSR. Now USSR is gone. But the unending expansion of NATO is strictly designed to counter the Russian Federation. This may eventually lead to another world war. |

@ how long it takes to master weapons.
We’re talking about handheld weapons and artillery here - not fighter jets and helis that have sophisticated electronics.
Manpads and ATGM are quite easy to learn and you can master how to use them within a few days. And you can master artillery within a month max. Portable defense systems got used up too quickly. The West can not keep up with the pace at which Ukraine is using these weapons. Mind you, some of these weapons are being used by trained civilians. |

AldrichAmes: Russia is attacking on all sides in Donbass right now - infantry push North of Popasna and inside Severodonetsk. Once they capture Severodonetsk, one of the most fortified areas in Europe - it’s smooth sailing to Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
Capturing Popasna and Lyman this week might be the biggest victory for Russia thus far in this war hence there has been unlimited propaganda everywhere, lol.
Luhansk (LPR) is almost 98% free - Donetsk (DPR) should be free soon as well. The Russians are advancing at a very rapid pace today.
To corroborate my post - this is from a Pro-Ukraine account Russia is doing well in Donbas but Ukraine has started push Russian forces out of Kharkiv, if they are successful, Russian supply line with be interopted. This will affect the performance of the Russian troops in Donbas. The supply line run from Russia to Kharkiv, and from Kharkiv to Donbas. Russia needs to secure Kharkiv for the troops in Donbas to secure victory. The supply line must be secured. |

Kingsnairaland: Russia's nuclear arsenal poses serious difficulties for America (c) says Secretary of Defense Loid Austin.
In other words
If Russia did not possess a nuclear arsenal capable of inflicting unacceptable damage on the US and NATO, they would have attacked Russia long ago, taking advantage of conventional weapons. It is built majorly for defense.
Hence the attempts to neutralize the importance of the nuclear arsenal by developing missile defense systems and developing concepts for a preventive strike on control centers and areas where launch platforms for nuclear charges are located. Only the fear of annihilation keeps them from direct war, and not diplomacy. That is a lie. Why haven't they attack Iran. Iran has no nuclear weapon? Russian military is very strong. It is not a push over. It's military is a formidable military even without Nuke. Just imagine the large number of troops the US will need to invade a country with population of more than 145 million. Infact it will be difficult for both US & NATO to conquer Russia. They may be able to reduce Russian military to nothing but at a very great cost. At the end war, i can assure you that both US & NATO military will lack the capacity to wage another war for the next 100 years if they win. The US has the capacity to invade any country in the world. But they will never dare to invade country like Iran, China and Russia, due to the cost. Especially, China and Russia. The two have capacity to attack the US homeland without Nuke. The two can destroy US satelite in the orbit without Nuke. Russia has enough conventional submarine to carry out non-nuclear strike on US and it also has the bomber fleet to bomb US. So they will not only defend themselves against US. They will also attack. |

firstone: This appears to be one of the largest single combat operation by Ukrainian ground and aviation forces against the Russians, and is one of their biggest success in the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Russian forces were expected to cross the river in Bilohorivka, to encircle Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast, eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian military engineers were able to accurately guess where the Russians would make bridgehead, with the Ukrainian Army preparing an ambush.
The Ukrainians attacked on 08 May 2022 when the bridges were almost completed, with artillery conducting the initial attack, followed by aviation units conducting sweeping operations on remaining Russian forces on both sides of the river.
These photos taken by a Ukrainian surveillance UAV on 09 May 2022, shows two Russian pontoon bridges, as well as 50+ Russian Army armored and soft-skinned vehicles destroyed. Ukrainian estimates that around 1,500 Russian troops were killed and wounded.
Closely looking at the armored vehicle wreckage show main battle tanks, many with their turrets blown off probably by explosion from within their ammunition storage, which is an inherent weakness of Russian tanks.

BritishNaija: The F117 Shealth shut down was detect by luck and some faulty issue with that particular shealth, it was Well documented and again following their flying partern and radio leak, that is by the way. Apart from that, the radar cross sectioms of current Shealth are way smaller than the F117.
You are talking about US Tanks Being destroyed in Yemen, A tank is As good its operators, and the tanks being supplied to Saudi Is not the latest and upgraded that US have refused to sell to anyone.
Do you also know that the version of F-35 Being sold to US allies are not Same with that of US? This is ridiculous. How can you say, It was detected by luck. If it was detected by luck, was it also tracked by luck and a missile was guided to hit it by luck? Radar detect an object in the sky, tracked it and guided a missile to hit, that is mot luck my dear. The F-117 project was scrapped after the incidence. |

If they have develop anyone to lunch from other craft, that i have not seen. There is Stealth technology, you can believe What you chose to, US, Russia,China and the rest know this.
And the aim of Shealth is to get close to you, the current sets of Shealth now, once they open their bays, you are dead already, because they are too close and too late for you to react already. Khinzal is a hypersonic ballistic missile designed to be launched from the air. It is an air to surface/naval missile. The missile is operational. Zircon is an hypersonic cruise missile designed to be launched from the sea. It is a sea to sea/surface missile. It lauch platform is Frigate and Submarine. The missile is operational. Vympei R-37 is a air to air hypersonic missile. The launch platform is SU-57. It is not operational. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: USA F35 Stealth Fighter Practices In The UK Lake District Ready For Russia by olugabbie(m): 12:27pm On May 12, 2022 |
BritishNaija: Firtst if all, If Any Country that has Shealth Aircraft wants to attack you, They will not be announcing it, Secondary, Fine tunning of Any radar if need be is done automatically.
Another thing is, you can never Fine tune a radar wave to the point of seeing things the size of bird, otherwise you will have your radar screen full of the images of anyflying birds and that will create a confusion.
Again, if you lets assume you are able to set your radar to detect bird, it will not still be able to detect F-35 As It's cross section is same as golfball. Then lets also assume you were able to reduce the wave to detect golfball size objects, not only you will have you screen full of clusters of unidentifiable objects, you can never ever tell which one is shealth. Then lets assume you were lucky to identify the F-35, Radar is not design to paint such size of object. That is just my point. Radar system do two things. They are detection and tracking of flying object. There are some Russian radar that can detect stealthy fighter jets but the most challenging thing is tracking them. No one knows if the Russians can track them or not. But remember the first stealthy fighter jet (F-117-Black Jack) made by the US was detected and shot down by Russian Defense System (S-125) in Yugoslavia. They did it then. They can do it now. A major conflict will expose some of these machines. The US Abraham Tank used by the Saudis performed woefully in Yemen. Likewise the Russian tanks in Ukraine. The US Patriot Defense System failed to shot down Houthi Rebel drone in Saudi Arabia. The S-300 is having a hard time against the Turkish drone in Ukraine. Likewise in Nagorno-Karabakh. Although the Pantsir defense system has shot down several Turkish drones. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: USA F35 Stealth Fighter Practices In The UK Lake District Ready For Russia by olugabbie(m): 12:10pm On May 12, 2022 |
BritishNaija: I do not know Why you are bitter over US Air superiority matters, you also messed your writeup by saying Shealth is obsolete, Chai.
To start with, you do not even know how radar works, you exposed yourself about that by saying Fine tunning An engagement radar to detect a shealth Aircraft as if you are tunning radio band. Damn! This shows you do not know how Shealth Aircraft works. The US Shealth Aircraft like F-35 radar cross section is 0.0015 sqm, I Hope you know how small that is, Radar can not detect it, and even if you can detect it, there is no way way you can paint and engage what is as small as golf ball with missiles through radar.
Example is Israel Airforce flying sorties during raids Inside Syria and Russia S-400 failed to detect hem, talkless of engaging.
You went ahead again to say the Era of dog Fight is over, and no need for manned jets. Another place you are dead wrong. Manned fighter planes are still and will remain the best for accuracy and effectiveness.
The Reason Russia failed woefully in Ukraine and are still battling to seize Ukraine is lack of Air power superiority, assuming Russia have vast number of Shealth Aircraft like F-35 ( Let me not bring in the more deadly F-22raptor and B-2spirit) comparison, all Ukraine S-300 and Fighter jets would have been wiped out by now and Kyiv crumbled from precision bombing from Russia.
Again you went ahead to mention Hypersonic missiles, Hypersonic missiles first of all have range, Maybe like 1200miles, and only Good for fix targets and not moving targets. And again It's not cheap for Russia to produce. And again, hypersonic missles are Useless without a lunch platform,(Specific Jet fighters). Reason Russia have not used more hypersonic messiles, not only that It's expensive to use, and not all target you do use it on, the plaftform( Aircraft) to lunch it from are restricted to fly freely due to Ukraine S-300 and Airforce are still active, and you don't use such weapons against Tanks.
Forget about the self hype deceit from Russia, the only leverage Russia have is Nuclear weapons, when it comes to conventional war, They are zero with a Modern Army. Russia has the air platform to launch its hypersonic ballistic missile (Khinzal). There are two aircrafts dedicated for this role. The mig-31K interceptor & the TU-22M bomber. The Khinzal Hypersonic missile (Kh-47M2) range is 2,000 km (1,200 mi; 1,100 nmi) when carried by the MiG-31K and 3,000 km (1,900 mi; 1,600 nmi) when carried by the Tu-22M3. The aircrafts don't need to enter enemy airspace to hit target. The missile has been tested in Ukraine. The Pentagon has confirmed that it was used effectively. There are two Sea platforms for the sea based Russian Hypersonic Cruise Missile (Zircon). It can be launched from Submarine and Warship. The Zircon is a top secret weapon. Unlike the Khinzal Hypersonic Missile. The world knows it existence but no one knows what it looks like.

They have less than 100 T-14 armata tanks in their inventory. Russia has the military technology but she is not as rich as the US and China. Mig-35 is one of the best 4+++ fighter jets in the world. It is equipped with AESA radar & top notch avionics compare to the SU-27,30 & 35 that are equipped with PESA radar. But Russia has less than 30 Mig-35 jets. The T-90M Proryv-3 tank were deployed to Ukraine only starting late last month, with this example destroyed in Kharkiv oblast where Ukraine is conducting counteroffensive to liberate the region from Russian control.
The Russian Army only started The T-90M Proryv-3 in 2020, with the 2nd Guards Kalinin Taman Motor Rifle Division of the 1st Guards Tank Army being the first recipient. It is believed that the entire Russian Army only have around 100 of these tanks in service.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Chechen Leader’s Brutal Fighters Are Getting Killed In Ukraine ‘every Day’ by olugabbie(m): 6:17pm On May 05, 2022 |
Igbofam: Chechen troops in Ukraine loyal to Ramzan Kadyrov have claimed a reputation for being the most brutal in Putin’s war, but a new report says they’re actually suffering major losses and going to great lengths to cover them up.
According to an investigation by Russia’s independent news outlet IStories, the official figure of 13 Chechen soldiers killed in Ukraine is a major undercount; a source in the Chechen Health Ministry tells the outlet the true death toll of the so-called Kadyrovtsy at least matches that of the Dagestani troops killed in Ukraine, which totals 123.
A source involved in sending the bodies of Chechen fighters back home told IStories the Chechen battalions are incurring injuries and deaths every single day.
One would never know that from looking at the social media chronicles of Kadyrov, who has sought to cultivate an image of Chechen troops as both fearsome fighters and compassionate rescuers, with images and videos shared to Telegram and the social networking site VK that often seem blatantly staged, showing troops being greeted with open arms by elderly villagers and firing weapons at invisible targets.
Kadyrov’s troops have also been accused of some of the most heinous war crimes in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with many survivors of the Bucha massacre identifying the soldiers who indiscriminately murdered and tortured civilians as members of Chechen battalions.
But the PR campaign by Kadyrov has at times backfired in spectacular fashion, such as when the strongman leader appeared in a video in mid-March purportedly being briefed by his men in a basement in the Kyiv region, only for Ukrainian journalists to use phone data to prove that he was actually in Belarus, followed by even the Kremlin and a source in the Chechen government confirming he was not, in fact, in Kyiv. Or the now notorious photo of Kadyrov supposedly on his knees praying in Ukraine—in front of a gas station owned by a company with no presence in the country.
Ukraine’s Security Service said at the time that the “clown and coward” Kadyrov was just trying to scare Ukrainian troops by suggesting he had come to join the war.
Behind the scenes, Kadyrov’s image campaign is said to have masked his own dysfunction, such as when he reportedly threw a hissyfit over Russia’s decision to retreat from Kyiv. When Russia’s Defense Ministry decided mid-March to pull troops back from the region after an unsuccessful bid to seize the capital, Kadyrov lashed out, fuming that his men were too prestigious to be moved to Mariupol, according to IStories. He is said to have butted heads with both the leadership of Russia’s Defense Ministry and the National Guard, getting back at them by ordering his men return to Chechnya to get some “rest,” sources told the news outlet.
And in his latest attempt to flaunt Chechen military prowess on social media, Kadyrov proudly declared Thursday that his men had “liberated” the village of Svetlichnoye in the Luhansk region—a village that had already been under the control of Russian proxies in the Luhansk People’s Republic since 2014.
https://news.yahoo.com/chechen-leader-brutal-fighters-getting-152246620.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=tw&tsrc=twtr There is no such thing as invincible army. It does not exist. As long as the war is still on, soldiers will continue to die on both sides, even if they are using knives. |
