Russia risks being isolation economical if she looses the war and it will take her time to rebuild her military. There is possibility that the two countries will regret allow the war to occur. Zelenszky made a great mistake by allowing the West to push him into war with Russia and Russia should not have invaded if she knew that the West will interfer to this degree. Puttin made a very silly mistake. It's troops should not have abandoned Kyiv. When the Russian troops were in Kyiv, Zelensky was ready to negotiate. But immediately they left, he abandon the.negotiation.

Another mistake Putin made was it's inability to force countries border Ukraine (especially Poland) not to allow it's territory to be used to ship in weapon yo Ukraine. Russia didn't threatening Poland enough.

Russia's assault on Donbas has "sort of fizzled" and the battle for the region will be over in two to four weeks, says military expert Dr Mike Martin.

It also means Nato and the US have decided Vladimir Putin is bluffing about using nuclear weapons if Nato up the ante, he adds.

Lol! Ukraine is not a weak country militarily. It is the second most developed country and after Russia that broke out of USSR. Ukraine is one of the countries that export arms in europe. It exports fighter jet engines. This may not be significant to you. But do you know that China has not successfully built reliable engines for it's military aircrafts? Most of it's locally Made military planes including the J-20 still use Russian engines. Although they are getting closer, the WS-15 engine for the J-20 & WS-10 jet engine are still work in progress. So Ukraine is not a small country. Ukraine navy, air force and air defence forces were/are far better than the Iraqis & Afghans put together. Before 2014, the Ukrainian military was far stronger than Iraq and Afghanistan put together. Not to talk of their military capability at the moment.

The West started arming them from 2014 till this day. They have access to the US intelligence, more than 20 countries are providing them with weapon.

Infact i respect Russia. They are fighting a country with population of 40m with less than 300k troops. Wemblin stadium can accommodate Russian entire troops in Ukraine.

I don't know where the OP got this news from. But the fact is that Russia never demand for crude oil payment in Ruble. It is only GASSSSSSSSS. This is targeted at US & it's allies (unfriendly nations). So countries like India and China are using the opportunity to trade in their local currencies like Rupee-Rubble & Yuan-Ruble and abandon dollar.

The West are making more noise than Russia. Imagine a government official of the United Kingdom saying that they have given Ukraine offensive weapon which they can use to strike Russia territory.

I still blame the West for the war. There is no super power on earth that will sit and watch it's enemy surround it's territory with military bases. It is a threat to the security of the country. The US & UK will never accept it. So why are you telling Russia to accept such. Europe was peaceful untill they start the expansion towards the east. The economic relationship between the Western europe and Russia brought prosperity to both. Germany strong economic is being powered by Russian cheap energy. Crimea, the break away region in Maldovia, Donbas, break away region in Georgia were all as a result of NATO expansion.

The West talked about harsh sanctions that they were ready to impose on Russia and how they were ready to support Ukraine militarily. Biden said he is ready to fight Russia to the last Ukranian. He was not bluffing when he said that and Putin is aware. They started sending weapon to Ukraine before the war to backup the threats. Every single threat made by the West are being executed. Do you want to tell me that a man who is aware of what such support did to the Soviet Union in Afghanistan and the US in Vietnam was looking for a quick victory. The Soviet Union left Afganistan mainly because they could not deal with the way the Mujiadeen fighters were destroying their tanks with anti-tank weapon and their aircrafts with anti-aircraft weapon.

Russia never said anything about the time it will take to achieve their goal. It was the West that said Russia could defeat UKRAINE within 5 days and they made sure it did not happen. It is quite unfortunate that people don't know how powerful the US is. The US is not even doing this alone, NATO members are also involve. Ukraine is being flooded with weapon from more than 20 countries. Intelligence is being provided by the US.

Now the second phase of the war is on going. The West said Russia is looking for victory before May 9 (Victory day). The Kremelin never said anything about this. All Putin has been saying is that Russia will achieve it's aim in Ukraine.

Taiwan is not an independent state yet (officially). It's official name is still Chinese Taipei. The day Taiwan declare itself as an independent state, that will the day China will declare war on Taiwan.

Taiwan is in a difficult situation. Although they have been preparing for invasion for years. The US has been arming them. But Chinese military is growing at an unimaginable rate. It is will difficult even for the US to stop China from having a successful invasion of Taiwan.

Russia is not doing badly in Ukraine. Fighting a war when you are being heavily sanctioned with a country that is getting intelligence and arms from the most powerful country (& other NATO members) in the world is not child's play. There is no country in the West that will dare to fight a war in this kind of situation.

Before US go to war with any country. The first thing they do is to strangle the country's ability to fund the war through economic sanctions. Then they place arms embargo on the country to kill it's ability to import arms during the war. When all these are achieved, then they send in their troops. Despite all the measures they still loose fighters jets, helicopters, other military equipments and soldiers to the enemy. But Russia is facing the opposite.

Western propaganda says this is Putin war. But having your country surrounded by the military of your adversary/adversaries is unacceptable to any leader in the world. Putin can not loose in Ukraine. If he loses, Russia wil lack the ability to stop NATO expansion. This will be disater for Russia. Russia is not going to loose. Russia must win at all cost.
