The FCMB is having issues with the iNest as many people are currently unable to withdraw their money. When you try to login, the system tells you to reset your password, but they never send you any password reset email. iNest would appear to have gone burst and FCMB staff have run out of excuses to tell customers and no longer taking calls. I suspect the FCMB will pull the service shortly or this could be the beginning of the end for the bank. |
OnlineNaira has a registered address in Nigeria and can be found on their website along with othe rcontact details - https://www.onlinenaira.com/contact.htm. If you have an issue with OnlineNaira and decides to post it here, why not do the needful and also post here any correspondence with them to be fair? Would you also be fair enough to come back here to say when or if your issue was resolved after posting this message here? Animtah: |
harry2sexy:It is sad that people will add information to nairaland and some other places they see fit without giving the person they accuse an opportunity to defend themselves. Whoever placed this notice here did not say what OnlineNaira did to them or what they did to OnlineNaira, but says people should not do business with OnlineNaira. If you are true, why not also say what OnlineNaira did that was wrong or maybe you tried to defraud them and your account was closed. It would be a good idea if you would tell other people you placed their name here in nairaland so they too could come here to add their side of the story. Well, I work for OnlineNaira and I am proud of the work we do. If you have an issue with us, we encourage you to chat with us first. If we are unable to resolve the issue, then write here with any responses from us. That would be fair. If your issue remains unresolved. Pls feel free to come and chat with us. |
If you truly have an issue with OnlineNaira, get in touch with them. OnlineNaira has a chat with 8 members of staff, did you chat with any of them? When you sent them an email, what was their response? OnlineNaira takes customer service very seriously and it is impossible for you not to get a response from chat or email. |

See this new eBook There’s this saying that “if you want to hide information from a black man, the best way is to put it in a book” from my experience so far, I’ve seen that it is largely true as a lot of people don’t like reading, if not even that reading is required for them to pass as students, they might not have read anything at all, a question you might ask yourself is that how many books have you read this year to improve yourself or to know about something you are about to start? Who knows how to get to nairaland.com's management. I paid 50k for Advertising into the designated bank account and notified whoever is meant to receive the email (evidence@nairaland. com) of the payment. 15 days later, nairaland has not acknowledged the payment nor funded my account with the money. Is this customer service? I have sent about 7 emails asking for my account to be funded or money returned, but all i get is a brick-wall. I also posted a couple of messages on nairaland's facebook page, but no one has bothered to reply. If nairaland is no longer taking ads, pls send my money back. |

fergieboy:I completely agree with you, but the problem is that the first person who complains is not always in the right. Sometimes, it may be a case of them resolving any misunderstandings they had. Above all, if this forum is going to be credible and fair, both parties need to make a comment here for all to see. Everyone must be heard, but this forum is playing Judge and Jury here without considering what the defendant has to say. Have a blessed week. |
It is wrong and unethical to list people's names or businesses here without going out of your way to inform them to let them know their name is here so they could add their responses as well. This is a one-way street and should not be done on Nairaland. |
Consider your use of PayPal. While I understand that a lot of Africans/Nigerians would like to use paypal to collect money, we think you should make plans to stop using paypal and look for alternatives. OnlineNaira was created in 2011 to be an alternative to paypal so that more people are able to reduce their reliance on paypal. Are you aware that the most fundamental reason/drive behind bitcoins is to find a way to stop the likes of paypal, banks from controlling the way we move money online? When a bank, paypal or any of the other big money players decide they no longer want you, they close your account and give you a bad name. This is the issue with Nigerians using paypal. PayPal says they are unhappy for Africans/Nigerians to use its services to collect money. It must be understood that the policy is not because they dislike Africans, but because they are not comfortable with the financial arrangements with African countries. Now they allow you to have a send-only account, but still prevent accounts opened in Nigeria from receiving money. Here are the questions i believe we need to ask ourselves - Why are we begging a seller to use their services? Why are Nigerians/Africans beging PayPal to use PayPal? If paypal says we are not welcome enough for them to resolve any financial bottlenecks, why are we still using them illegally. I have seen many Nigerians lose money when paypal finds out their accounts were fake and opened against their policy. There are many budding payment gateways in Africa/Nigeria and if we are patient enough to endure and persevere with these up and coming payment businesses such as OnlineNaira, we would find a lasting solution to payment collections online. Nigerians must learn lessons from the mistakes of the past where Nigeria neglected fake/copycat goods coming out of Aba, more than three decades ago. China was doing exactly what the Igbo people did in Aba, but China is projected to be the strongest economy in the world by 2050. Let us embrace what is ours even if its not good enough today. Tomorrow can only be better for our business if we keep using and encouraging them. As a people, we need to collectively say to merchants that we will no longer beg them to use their services. For those collecting money online through paypal, it is time we arranged alternatives with merchants sending money. Tell them not to send money to you with paypal where possible. Kayode Adesiyan is the CEO and founder of OnlineNaira. |
It is sad to note that some people complain at the slightest issue in business and in my own opinion, an indication of how they run their own lives and businesses. OnlineNaira's policy is to process paypal transactions within 60mins, but it is impossible to complete some within that time for many reasons. Online of the reasons is that we may have sent an email to get clarification to a user, the mail goes to their spam mailbox and they never reply to us. Such transactions would be delayed. There are other reasons that I may not be able to go into, but if the person complaining in this thread tells me his/her username in OnlineNaira I would be glad to look into it. However, we are not perfect at OnlineNaira and we never told anyone we were/are perfect. We have human beings (staff) processing transactions in OnlineNaira and they may make mistakes anytime and some orders may be over-looked as a result of the increasing number of transactions coming in. Does that make OnlineNaira scam? The complainant created this thread and is still claiming OnlineNaira is scam even after receiving his funds in paypal. This cannot be right. Here is my final point on this issue, we are grateful for your discussion here and it is an indication that OnlineNaira is part of the issues being discussed in Nairaland. We are working hard to make our services more secure, we've added even more features and made it faster, but we need your patience when we get it wrong. |
