Argentina is even deadlier with 3ptr compared to the Russians ... So you can see we are in for some harsh realities.

If we end in 3rd place, what will happen to us?
We play for classification

Scrap Puel. Unfortunately, Nacho has not had long time of a year or two under the tutelage of an offensive manager to assimilate the philosophy. It takes time. If he moves, I hope he works under someone brilliant, inventive and dynamic for a good time.

This is 2019/2020 season list. It was just updated recently.

The EPL is arguably the hardest league to score goals in with some of the best defenders in the world.

Lacazette for almost 3/4 seasons scoring double digits in the French league has not been able to replicate that on the EPL getting only half of his normal goal tally in the EPL.

You call Rashford Average and Wilson.
Yes I repeat again they are average.
The world class/above average forwards in the PL are/were Mane, Lacazette, Aubameyang, Salah, Vardy, Lukaku, Kun Aguero. Rashford plays for my club so I'm not doing it based on Sentiment, he is very average

Bruv when u make this kind of statement I simply am bewildered.

Rashford is AVERAGE and Wilson Average ke then someone will then say Chukwueze and Osimhen are world class.
They are all average players. Rashford who's yet to do more than 13 goals a season

just read somewhere that Chuba Akpom will likely make the super eagles roaster
and that NFF have started his paper work..

I am not happy with that at all.... if we really wanna steal from England we should go for a quality forward and not a player that is on same par with many of ours.

we just wasted this process...
I think they are trying to cap tie as many players as possible because according to what pinnick said

“We have secured a Grade A international friendly match for the Super Eagles against ukraine in Kyiv, on the 10th of September,” Pinnick said on Twitter.
“It is part of our on-going drive to expose as many players as we can to global football, so this should be another springboard for our young stars.”

so maybe we should expect a lot of new faces

England Move To Stop Ademola Lookman From Switching Allegiance To Nigeria

England have taken a bold step to stop Nigeria from having a free run at convincing Ademola Lookman to switch allegiance to the Super Eagles following his £22.5m move from Everton to RB Leipzig.

The English FA are aware of efforts by Nigeria to have the 21 year old switch allegiance like the duo of Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina who were also youth internationals for England before making the switch to Nigeria at senior level.

Lookman asked for time when he was contacted by the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) in a meeting which had the head coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr in attendance and their are fears in the camp of England that he could make the switch following his transfer to Germany.

That fear has made them to conclude plans of checking on him in Germany and also reassure him that he is in the plans of manager Gareth Southgate who coached him at youth level for England before making the step up to the role of head coach of the senior team.

Ebuehi is going to be loaned out by benfica. Because of his long layoff, Benfica have decided to loan out Ebuehi so that he can get used to playing regularly again. Hopefully, he is loaned to a decent level.
He's a very talented player. I think he'll come good though wherever he goes, tho I want him to remain at Benfica cos of UCL football

Dele Bashiru and Ofoborh not in the match day squad.

Balogun too..

Balogun needs a loan move from Brighton o.. From being first choice back up CB to not making the bench..
abi is he injured?
They are both listed as members of the senior Squad. it's still early to jugde as the season just started let's see what happen as the season progresses.

As for Balogun probably he's yet to resume with his club

And u are gonna compare the Gabonese stars of 2010-2013 to these craps that make up the Taifa stars?

Fabrice Do marcolino 20goals for Angers ligue1

Moise Apanga ligue1

Andre Poko - Bordeaux ligue1

Levy Madinda - Celta Vigo laliga

Junior Ndong - Auxerre ligue1

Eric Mouloungui - Nice ligue1

Daniel Cousin who once scored 26 goals for Lens in the ligue1

Aubemyang the best striker in the ligue1 - Ettienne

Lyod Palun - Nice ligue1

Stephane Nguema who was a forward for PSG a season before that tourney, he also was a former Rennes striker

Ecuele Manga one of the best Centre Backs in the ligue1 from 2010-14

Ekwa Ebanega - Auxerre ligue1

In Didier Ovono, they had one of the best goalkeepers in Africa then and also like many of his teams mates was plying his trade in the ligue1

So bro what took Gabon that far was individual brilliance and sheer luck bkus the squad oozed class (experienced quality players) playing at the highest level, it has little or nothing to do with Rohr's tactical prowess. In fact it was Rohr's tactical ineptitude that denied them a place in the Semis. Compare this squad to Tanzania who can only boast of Sammata in the Belgian league, then u will understand Rohr didnt do anything remarkable. In 19 games with these names in the team, Rohr could only win a paltry 8

And to that guy shouting that they beat Morroco, it was Chamakk's Morroco not Ziyech's. That Morrocan side was so poor, and player for player, they were no match for Gabon bkus Gabon paraded far better players individually. And they were not the Madagasis of 2012 thats so wrong bkus they had players, Madagascar doesn't. In fact some of our starters this year couldn't have started for that Gabonese side, at least I know that no reasonable coach would bench Auba for Ighalo or Manga of 2012 for Ekong of today grin
the Moroccan team had Chamakk, adel Taarbat, and much younger Nordin Amrabat, Benatia, Belhanda, Boussofa and El Amadi who are all still very much part of Morocco's team.
