forgiveness: The reason people gave here to justify Aina drop from the world cup was that he conceded a penalty and he plays in a lower league but Tyrone did the same but was exonerated.
Now, he moved to Seria A and still played consistently in a more technical and tactical league yet he is not focused, he is not good enough defensively blah blah blah blah.
Who will take a Nigerian opinion seriously?
Now, we are hearing Rewatch that game and you'll see that Omeruo was at fault for the penalty and not tyronne |

I actually think this Mali team is better than Senegal. The Senegal we played yesterday looked very ordinary in my opinion. We just weren't clinical enough but then I don't blame the team but the coach who kept that Log of Wood upfront till the end of the game |

I didn't watch the game because the Hospital's management made it as a policy not to switch to football games due to their hypertensive patients. I never knew until 5 minutes before the game when I requested for super sport . Get well soon sir. |

But i can become very fanatic with Nigerian teams
I can go to any length to watch Nigeria play
Its just unfortunate to be tortured by the very thing you love so much.
Nigerian football is my only source of joy and happiness But it can be painful . I for example have had to choose patriotism over reading for my exams only to suffer torment in the hands of this team |

Oasis007:

Let call a Spade a Spade. He has failed us as a Country already. Nigeria may miss out on so many talented Lads, thanks to his Cluelessness. Many talented Lads were at the Camp in Germany, they were well prepared and ready to rep, yet he shunned them for "his" Boys.
What's killing us mostly in Nigeria is; Dream without proper Action Plans. Exactly that's why i won't blame only scouts, I blame the coaches more. To think that more than 12 Foreign Born came to camp with the flying eagles and he picked only 3 and he has only started one of them in the competition is just so annoying. Instead he has decided to use Grandpa Offia and Great grandpa Effiong. If the other guys he shunned go on to have good careers for thier adopted country we start regretting and wishing "Had we known". The only players I'm looking forward to in this competition are Dele, Ofoborh, Makanjuola and Zacalla because those are mainly the position we need bodies in the super Eagles and they look like they could have a long career because they r still young. the rest will probably just fizzle out in no time |

"The idea of playing for Nigeria is one I dream about daily. I follow the national team of Nigeria very well and a call up to any of the teams will be a dream come true for me and my family as well. Hopefully, some day my hard work would pay off"
To think that such player was overlooked for those brick layers we took to the world cup as wingers makes me wanna root out my Beretta against Aigbogun's jugulars but I read somewhere that they were considering him for under 23 |

Without prejudice Chukwueze does not fit the bill so I doubt your assertion. Unless he wants to grow stale in the Liverpool U23's.
Harry Wilson, Ryan Kent and Seyi Ojo cannot get into the team and you think Chukwueze will? Look at the players he's mentioning sef.☹️☹️. When was any of this player on Samuel Chukwueze's level |

TheGoodJoe: Leave that thing.
We are yet to see a quote from Alaba. I want the quoted words of Alaba first. I am not defending any body.
This Dickson Nwakeme guy should chill abeg.
Only a bribe would have gotten him into the squad ahead of the likes of Obasi, Nsofor, Osaze, Solomon Okoronkwo, Victor Anichebe, coupled with the fact he only plays as a center forward. Thank u very much. We are yet to see a single quote from David Alaba to prove this. It was on this same nairaland we saw a quote where David Alaba said there was never a formal approach for him. And as for the Dickson guy funny part is this is the first Time I'm even hearing that there's a player called Dickson Nwakeme abeg the guy wasn't good enough. Guy is trying to gain attention abeg |

This Nwakaeme that nobody has ever heard of as a footballer could not have been able to make a team that had the likes Osaze, Anichebe, etc playing in top leagues qq Exactly my point. Just because David Alaba said it every unknown Tom, Dick and Harry will start using that as an excuse why they had very poor football career. Imagine someone playing in Malaysia for dat matter. just looking for unnecessary attention. mttcheew |

bingbagbo: Maybe you don't know Richard Kingston. Search on him more. I won't talk much.hope you know Asamoah Gyan is Africa's record scorer at the world cup? Do u know big European clubs that wanted Cyan's signature? You are comparing a sick KANU nwankwo to Africa's world cup legend?FYI, nqankwo KANU failed to score a single goal at the AFCON in all his numerous AFCON outings. You are a joke.
And which name did I see? Victor ikpeba? Is that also a footballer? If you don't know, Atsu was the best player of the 2015 AFCON, and his best years are ahead
For Mikel obi I wont address it again because its only a novice who Will compare that boy to Michael essien .
Nigeria sucks. Lol I should search on him more. Even you yourself can't give me a mind blowing stat about him. Just a below average goalie who was lucky to be in a solid Ghanaian team. mtcheew "Is Victor Ikpeba a player" I laugh in Korea the same Victor Ikpeba that won African footballer of the year that 70% of the players you listen have not one. You are the real joke here. And by the way I'm just saw Stephen appiah's name there and all I could do was to laugh. nonsense and spices |

bingbagbo: You make me laugh in Igbo wouf wouf wouf
FYI Ghana was at the grand finale of the under 20 world cup in 1993 and 2001 maybe you don't know before winning it in 2009 beating Brazil
What is a national team? Is under 20 a continental team? Reaching the world cup quarter finals is one million times better than winning AFCON and you know that.
Ghana wants to win the world cup, not mere AFCON, maybe you don't know.
I am embarrassed for you to compare those mediocre football ERS to the Ghana talents I listed. Don't you have shame?comparing john obi to Michael essien?
Its obvious you don't know football The same way winning a gold medal at the Olympic games is bigger than reaching the quarter finals of the world cup |
