Don't compare the fee like an exchange. Nigeria money is devalued hope you know that. If you must know now Nigeria money is lesser than Ghanaian Cedi=66.81 naira(I ghana cedi) while the Rand is just 22.76 naira. So don't say that fees must be Increased. How much does Esut, COOU,AAU,ABSU etc. Quite high you must know.
Don't defend Nigerian govt and education board Instead ask for more checks and prosecutions. There you are talking about 50000 fees. In millions you are talking about in Naira but in Cedis 7000-10000. So be factual

The roads, yes. The traffic infrastructure, no. Living there for three years felt like I traveled out of Naija based on transport and the non-gra gra nature of the residents. If you travel on a standard road in developed nations you will discover Nigeria is twenty-five years behind when it comes to road networks, maintenance and traffic control.

i can see mediocrity and say it is progress. With the amount of igr lagos gets we are being scammed and shortchanged. I once woke up to see my car submerged in water on the island in 2016. Island has no drainage all the join join canal and gutters lead no where. In uk some of the buses being used are over 10 years old and still in good condition because the roads are good. Here we have shitty road that in 2 years the buses have become an eyesore. Stop celebrating mediocrity

Luanda is a beautiful capital city but definitely not in the league of Lagos. Lagos has passed that level. See we talk fact here and not pulling any country down because of frustration or whatever. If you talk about other cities that are regional powers which we have even mentioned above then we will take you serious. But coming out to compare Lagos with Luanda does not follow.

Lagos should have done well but we are too corrupt.


A city with poor power infrastructures (you need to see Lagos from an Airplane at night), no portable water in most homes slums every where to mention but a few is nothing to boast about.

Maybe Atlantic City will change the narratives but Banana Island, Parkview and other rich neighbourhoods of Ikoyi are yet to do so.

The question is where are all d engineers being produced by Nigerian universities? Though some are doing well in their field, unfortunately a lot of them are jobless, some making photo copy after grad.
We need tangible product not ranking ranking all d time. The internet we use today is a product of research in a University. All d researches we have been doing in Nigeria what are the products?
