Trust you are doing great my readers anywhere you may be.

It’s a new week as we all know, but I will like to sow a seed of encouragement into our mindset as you read along…

Do you know that sometimes ago, Dangote, Femi Otedola, Jimoh Ibrahim, Mike Adenuga… were looking at Moshood Abiola, Nwanyawu, Igbinedion, Dantata as YOU are doing now…

Do you know that sometimes ago, Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho were looking at Maradonna, Roberto Baggio, Romario, Jam Stam, Luther Mathaius.. as YOU are doing now…

Do you know that sometimes ago, Bill Gate, Warren Buffette, Carlos Helu… were looking at Rothschild, Rockefella, Henry Ford as YOU are doing now…

Do you know that sometimes ago, Goodluck Jonathan, Late M.Yar Adua were looking at Tafawa Balewa, Muritala M, Ibrahim Babangida… as YOU are doing now…

Do you know that sometimes ago, Pastor E. O. Adeboye,Bishop Oyedepo, Areogun, W. F. Kumuyi… were looking at Joseph Ayodele Babalola, Obadare, Benson Idahosa, Kc Price… as YOU are doing now…

Do you know that sometimes ago, Emeifile, Sanusi Lamido, Charles Soludo (a.k.a. Mr. Solution) were looking at Clement Isong, Vincent, O. Ahmed, M. Morno… as YOU are doing now….

Hmmm… Even sometimes ago Ibikunle Amosu was looking at Osoba, Gbenga Daniel… as you are doing now…

The only thing that speaks in the lives of these people and the only difference among them is TIME called TOMORROW. Your TOMORROW is only in the hands of God. Get ready to fill the vacuum of the Legend you are looking at as you read this message. Grace of God will eventually take you there.

Don’t stop when the road is closed. Continue even if it will take you to create another. We will all get there by special grace of God.

Every KING was once a CRYING BABY, every PRINCIPAL was once a PUPIL and every BUILDING was once a picture. The person you admire so much was once a nobody. The person you attended his or her wedding was once a chief bachelor or spinster. So why worry in life?

It’s not about where you are today but where you will reach tomorrow. Alphabet “O” which stands for OPPORTUNITY, is absent in ”YESTERDAY” but once in ”tOday” And three times in ”tOmOrrOw”. So Stay Positive Always and have hope. Your TOMORROW will surely be better than TODAY. Believe in yourself and never give up because the FUTURE is BRIGHT!

Have a blessed week.

Encourage someone today because I have done mine.

I wish to improve on this in no distance future.

Thank you.

EducationI'm Slowly Learning by oluspicy(op): 12:40pm On May 02, 2018
- I'm slowly learning that I don’t have to react to everything that bothers me...

- I’m slowly learning that I don’t have to hurt those who hurt me...

- I'm slowly learning that maybe the ultimate sign of maturity is walking away instead of getting even...

- I'm slowly learning that the energy it takes to react to every bad thing that happens to me drains me and stops me from seeing the other good things in life...

- I'm slowly learning that I’m not going to be everyone’s cup of tea and I won’t be able to get everyone to treat me the way I want to be treated and that’s okay...

- I'm slowly learning that trying so hard to ‘win’ anyone is just a waste of time and energy and it fills me with nothing but emptiness...

- I’m slowly learning that not reacting doesn’t mean I’m okay with things, it just means I’m choosing to rise above it. I’m choosing to take the lesson it has served and learn from it...

- I’m choosing to be the bigger person...

- I’m choosing my peace of mind because that’s what I truly need. I don’t need more drama. I don’t need people making me feel like I’m not good enough. I don’t need fights and arguments and fake connections...

- I'm slowly learning that sometimes not saying anything at all says everything...

- I'm slowly learning that reacting to things that upset me gives someone else power over my emotions...

I can’t control what others do but I can control how I respond, how I handle it, how I perceive it and how much of it I want to take personally...

- I'm slowly learning that most of the time, these situations say nothing about me and a lot about the other person...

- I’m slowly learning that maybe all these disappointments are just there to teach me how to love myself because that will be the armour and the shield I need against the people who try to bring me down. They will save me when people try to shake my confidence or when they try to make me feel like I'm worthless...

- I'm slowly learning that even if I react, it won’t change anything, it won’t make people suddenly love and respect me, it won’t magically change their minds...

And if one move on is only for one good without listening to what people say.

Sometimes it’s better to just let things be, let people go, don’t fight for closure, don’t ask for explanations, don’t chase answers and don’t expect people to understand where you’re coming from.

- I’m slowly learning that life is better lived when I don’t center it on what’s happening around me and center it on what’s happening inside instead...

- Work on yourself and your inner peace and you’ll come to realize that not reacting to every little thing that bothers you is the first ingredient to living a happy and healthy life.

"Learning is an everyday process, the day someone stop learning, decomposition begins."

(I hope to improve on this in no distance future)

Have a beautiful learning process.

PoliticsNigerian Youths Are Lazy - My Response by oluspicy(op): 5:43am On Apr 20, 2018
My simple response to Pa. Buhari's Commonwealth speech can be found in J. F. Odunjo's "Alawiye - Iwe Keta" (Book three) I guess.

"Bi a ko ba ri eni b'ala, bi ole laari" (A man with no helper is like a lazy man)...

"Bi a ko ba reni gbekele, a a tepa mon se eni" (If you have nobody to rely on, you have to extremely work hard)

#NigerianYouthsAreNotLazy

I've been trying not to point accusing fingers but that has not removed the fact that his generation who enjoyed free education, free meal etc failed to at least REPLICATE same for us. His generation began the clique of aristocracy with entrenched bureaucracy and extincted the middle class.

His generation made us realise that fear is synonymous to respect. They refused to repair the tyre of education let alone refurbish its old rickety wheel.

Papa Buhari, I am still waiting for the fulfillment of the heaven on earth promises you made in 2015 and as well as the NYSC Certificates of your children - Yusuf and Zahra.

Papa Buhari, maybe you are just being myopic or you used your children as variables to draw a large sampling size in the statistics you quoted in the UK, because the Nigerian youths I know are very hardworking.

I have a friend who worked in a Video Retail shop while we were preparing for our UME some years ago, he graduated with a Second Class Upper Division from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. Since he cannot create a company for himself overnight and he does not have connections to land himself CBN or DPR jobs like your cohorts, he changed from Chemical Engineering to Tailoring.

How he raised the money for the equipment is a story for another day but you were so audacious with uncouth temerity to call us lazy, o ga oo!

I have always had my reservations about your intellectual capacity, I can deduce that you goofed in a question and answer session since that part could not be written for you by your sycophantic staff.

While you are away in London on the bills footed by the supposedly lazy citizens, your cohorts in the National Assembly are making a fool of themselves, they are just not lazy in embarrassing us.

We are not lazy, we just want good opportunities for growth.

So, Pa. Buhari, next time you have the opportunity to talk about us, I will lend you a Yoruba proverb that says "Bi a ba ta ara ile eni lopo, a o le rira lowon mo" (If you sell your neighbour cheaply, you can not re-purchase the same person at an expensive price).

Remember also that a man who publicly calls his daughter harlot does not have the right to complain when she cannot find a husband.

"To whom brain is given, sense is expected."

CrimeFive SARS Officers Arrested For Robbery by oluspicy(op): 10:32am On Apr 17, 2018
The Lagos State Police Command Spokesman, SP Chike Oti, while confirming the arrest of the policemen on Tuesday said the suspects — two Inspectors and three Sergeants –were SARS operatives attached to Ipakodo.

Oti told newsmen that the men were not operatives from the Federal SARS, Ikeja Unit as reported.

He, however, said that one Insp. Jude Akhoyemta, who was earlier mentioned in the matter among suspects, was found to be innocent.

“In line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, the Command hereby informs the general public that further enquiry into the allegation of harassment of one Immanuel James Ibe-Anyanwu by SARS operatives at Ago-Palace way, Okota revealed the true identity of officers involved in the highly regrettable incident.

“Those involved are currently undergoing interrogation at the Command’s X-Squad Section and would be marched before an Adjudicating Officer at the Police Provost Department for the commencement of their orderly room trial,” Oti said.

It happened to a female family friend whom I know very well. She has been battling with that for very long time and doesn't have boyfriend whatsoever.

I know that God is now working on her situation.

Most of the causes of spiritual husband or wife thing is from either the father or mother, in seek of wealth or position, whereas putting the children (especially first born) in bondage.

MissCokie:
Men can be so egocentric and most times self centred, without considering if their body language, style and general lifestyle is affecting them.

I'm Miss Cokie , and here are Top5 characteristics of men, a woman should not consider for marriage.

1. Over Sabi : This kind of guys won't give you a breathing space, because they will presume that you're dull and unintelligent, even when you're way brilliant and smarter than him.

2. Over Protective Men : This kind of guys can kill for your sake, in the name of protecting my baby. shocked . The most annoying part is that, you don't have any privacy, because they will go through your mail, chats and text messages while you're sleeping.. That's a female thing sad

3. Over Jealous Men : Have you ever heard of the word, Nah jealousy go later kill you? , YES!, That was created because of them. This set of men, can get jealous over a 5years old baby smiling at you. They can easily get really angry and do nasty things.

4. No Future Ambission Men : Baby please give me little time, we will scale through!, after 15years of dating and endless abortions lipsrsealed .. Procrastination is very bad, especially when a man is showing you signs of a chronic procrastinator...

5. A Man Who Does Not Support You & Your Career : This set of men, will criticise your work, your skills, your life, your social life, your parents and even your next life. They don't want you to be ahead of them socially, financially, academically and mentally, so they rather device various strategies to keep you down and locked up.

Here you have it grin . please let us learn to value each other, in respective of our gender, tribe, and religious differences... Happy Esther! , although it came in late. kiss
I would have agreed with you but you didn't do proper proof reading or ask someone to check for you before posting these lists.

My memory bank doesn't have anything like "Ambission" (I wonder where you coined that from)

Besides, I'm sure you're trying to say 'Happy Easter", unlike "Happy Esther" (Maybe your other name is Esther that you're happy to copy and paste these list from somewhere)

RIP English!

Yoclan:
Story: WHAT YOU SOW IS WHAT YOU REAP.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

A couple had only one son. And the son worked really had and got a scholarship, he traveled; studied, became prosperous and acquired wealth.

He has been away for 10years. So one day, he decides to come home to pay a 'surprise' visit to his parents. He informed nobody that he was coming home.

So that day, he arrived the village at night, and went to their door. It was a bit dark; he knocked, Dady and Mummy opened the door. He has disguised his voice, his face and everything so that they won't recognise him (He wanted to surprise them).

He said, *"You see, em em.... I am just coming to town, but its late now, is dark, just give me a place to sleep , by tomorrow morning I will go to where am going, I want to go......"* When they [the parents] looked at him and saw what he was carrying, it enters into their eyes and heart. They said *"OK!! You are leaving tomorrow morning....come in "*.
With their candle light, they lead him in and he slept

The couple planned, at night saying one to another *" Is this not the end of our poverty? Somebody has brought wealth here. Do we allow this boy [the stranger] to go away like that?....."*

They took a decision to kill him, so Daddy held the knife while Mummy held the hands and they trust (kill) him through with the knife; he died. They quickly parked him and threw him into the forest at the back.

In the morning, fellow villagers were coming to their house, each one saying *"Welcome, we greet you, congratulations!!! We saw your son yesterday , he has finally come back home, we came to welcome him."*

==> These conversation took pace:

Daddy: *"Son? My son? You mean my son came back ?"*

Villager1: *"Yes.., your son was here yesterday, we saw him going to your house "*
Villager 2 : *"Of course , we saw him yesterday night"*

They [Daddy and Mummy] now went back to the bush to look properly , then, they found out that they had killed their only son.

*Lesson:* Whenever Sin is on The Driving Sit, Shame is Sitting at the Back. So your worst enemy is not really witches and wizards. Your worst enemy is your sinful heart .

Do you like stories?? Let me know, I will surely Post more....

A Story Extracted From Sermon by *DK Olukoya.*
Thanks for the info Op, but that story was an old fairytale that was aired in the 90s on the popular TV Series 'Tales By Moonlight' every Sunday evening by 6pm.

Besides, a popular Gospel singer, Evangelist Niyi Adedokun, used such story to sing in one of his album...

"Ore mi mase kanju, kanju jo' luwa re lo, tori pe t'oba kanju o, ohun to lewu nii..."

(My friend don't be hasty than God, if you do, it's a dangerous thing...)

I still remember that song since the year twas released up till today.

The didactic attributes we learnt in that song was to be patient in everything in life and also with God, and also be contented and have Faith in God, because God's time is the best.

BusinessRe: My Sales Boys/girls Steal From Me. by oluspicy:
naijacutee:
This is actually a very interesting topic because I’m currently reading a book about psychology and business at the moment that addresses this issue.

According to this book, when it comes to honesty and human psychology, it is easier to prevent people from stealing at the beginning than fix the problem later. He conducted experiments on groups of people and found that when people were asked reminded of their moral obligation by reading the 10 commandments before the temptations, they stole less.

Also, if you prep the psychology so that they know that they have the feeling being watched and you tell them the consequences of stealing before they start, they will perform better.

Here are my suggestions:

1. Sack all the stealing cashiers. They are already corrupt and it is easier to start afresh than to fix a corrupt mind (don’t ask me what this means for our country.)

2. Rehire on a good salary that they can live on

3. Install CCTV cameras or dummy cameras, including ones facing the till. Tell staff that the camera images are backed to the cloud and that images are stored elsewhere and can be accessed by you in teatime on the internet even if you are abroad.

4. Sounds crazy but put a poster of Jesus face or the 10 commandments behind the till or cash register where only the cashiers can see.

5. Accept payments primarily by card and have 2 - 3 backup card machines. Ask your bank for Global Accelerex card machines because their engineers come out to fix them in 24 hours if faulty. There’s post here that covers getting a POS terminal in Nigeria: http://www.mrpepe.com/banking/how-to-get-a-pos-terminal-for-your-business-in-nigeria/

6. Employ someone to reconcile account each day and query staff on the day if any fraud is detected.

Please let us know how you get on!
Thanks. You have already spoken what's on my mind.

And let me add this:

Employed a good accountant with sound audit experience.

PoliticsSome Of Us Work With Facts And Not Emotions by oluspicy(op):
Trailing Nigeria fight against corruption, between Obasanjo, Yar Adua and Buhari, record has it that president Obasanjo sacked his IGP Tafa Balogun for corruption. He sacked the then Senate President Adolfus Wabara for corruption. He also sacked his own ministers, Fabian Osuji, S.M Afolabi, Hussein Akwanga, Tim Menakaya, etc for corruption.

He also sacked Mrs Mobolaji Osomo for administrative infraction. The same way late president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua sacked Mrs Adenike Grange as Minister of Health for administrative infraction. It's on records that president Jonathan also sacked Stella Odua for corruption. Stella Odua was one of the most powerful ministers in president Jonathan's administration. But when she erred, President Jonathan sacked her. President Jonathan also sacked Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina as the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform for corruption.

Now, tell me who president Buhari has sacked for the reported cases of corruption in his government? Mind you, If you tell me that president Buhari sacked Babachir, I will happily remind you that the same president Buhari wrote the Senate, defended and exonerated Babachir of all wrong doings leveled against him. It was the cry of people like you and me and some other good Nigerians that forced him to sack Babachir and have him replaced with his own brother, Boss Mustapha. In other words, Mr. Babachir brought his own replacement.

Yet, some hero worshipping this historical error will still want me to believe that president Buhari is Mr. Integrity and that he is fighting corruption. Let me also remind you that president Buhari also reappointed the following guys who were all sacked for corruption and violation of their oaths of offices: Abdulrasheed Maina: Maina was the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform. He was secretly recalled and reinstated by president Buhari. He was even promoted to the position of director in charge of human resources in the ministry of interior. Maina was dismissed by president Jonathan in 2013 following recommendations by the Office of the Head of Service.

He was said to have stolen about 100billion naira from the pension fund. CP Zakari Biu: CP Biu was dismissed following his complicity in the escape from police detention of notorious Boko Haram suspect, Kabiru Sokoto.

He was reinstated and promoted to the rank of AIG by president Buhari before he was gloriously retired from active service. NHIS Boss, Prof Usman Yusuf: Prof Yusuf was said to have squandered over 997 million naira from the schemes intervention fund. Investigation was carried out and he was dully sacked by the minister of health.

But because he is president Buhari's brother, he was recently reinstated. Mallam Ahmed Saleh. Saleh was the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court. He connived with two others (Mohammed Abdulrahaman Sharif and Rilwanu Lawal) and stole 2.2 billion naira belonging to the apex court.

They were also said to have received gratifications totaling 74.4 million naira from private contractors who were providing services to the apex court. Mallam Saleh was sacked but president Buhari reinstated him and promoted him as the Secretary of Legal Council of Nigeria.

Don't ever tell me that president Buhari is fighting corruption.

Facts on ground are showing otherwise.

Some of us work with facts not emotions.

Thank you.
