TEXT: ROMANS 8:28
Miracles are the babies of impossibilities. All things work together for good including this lockdown. Lots of great things will come out of this lockdown.

Examples of those who became great as a result of a lockdown:
1. David. 1 Samuel 22:1-2 -
He became great while hiding away with cast-offs from his father-in-law, King Saul. In 2 Samuel 23:8-39, these cast-offs had become David's mighty army.
They became mighty during a lockdown. (Elijah; 1 Kings 17:17-24)

The king mobilized his entire army to kill Elijah. He had to go on a lockdown for safety. But Elijah became the first person to raise the dead.

2. Joseph; Genesis 40:1-22
Joseph became an interpreter of dreams while in prison. Genesis 41:1-44; After his lockdown, he became Prime Minister to Pharaoh.

•What do you do during Lockdown to ensure it wasn’t a waste and to grow Spiritually.

1. Rejoice. Philippians 4:4. Rejoice because your tomorrow is going to alright.

2. Praise God. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. In all things (including during a lockdown) we are to praise God.

3. Pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. There has never been a greater opportunity to pray because you have more time and less things to do.

4. Study the word of God. 2. Timothy 2:15. There’s plenty of time, study the word.

5. Meditate. Joshua 1:8. If you want to prosper and have Good success, think on what you have read and studied.

6. Receive visions for your future. Joel 2:28. Just like John the beloved received Revelations during a lockdown.

7. Plan towards actualizing the Vision. Psalm 37:5. After planning, hand it over to God.

8. Clean up your house and immediate surroundings. Deuteronomy 23:14. God walks about in your camp, so you have make it clean enough for Him.

9. Lighten your House. When you clean up your house, you’ll discover things you don’t need anymore please give them out.

10. Pray for the General Overseer and your pastors. 1 Thessalonians 5:25. The Bible tells us to pray for our leaders.

All things work together for good only for those who love God.

Why? God loves those who love Him. Proverbs 8:17.

This lockdown is a time to seek God.

Proverbs 8:35-36

When you find God, you find life; when you sin against God, you hate your own soul. It's at your own detriment.

In the name that is above every other name, when this lockdown is over, your promotion will be accelerated.

This is especially to those who think they're big and mighty, what's the essence of your money now? I'm appealing to you who's yet to have Jesus in your life as Lord and Saviour, love God! If you haven't given your life to Jesus, bow your head and cry out to God to save your soul. Ask Him to save your soul and forgive your sins. Ask Him to give you a new beginning and accept you.

Now cry out to the Almighty God and ask Him to draw you closer unto Him. Talk to Him with all your heart.

For those of you who have given your life to Jesus, please, contact me.

Father, let this lockdown work out for my good, let it work out for me spiritually and in all wise in Jesus’ name.

BREAKING NEWS!!!
The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared the Nigerian popular musician known widely as Lagbaja wanted.

The National Security Adviser sent a report to the President this morning in which Lagbaja was accused of hiding very vital life saving information from both the Government and the public.

It was revealed that Lagbaja for many years has been keeping information about safety measures against Covid-19 to himself thereby becoming the only one wearing the appropriate mask against covid-19 for many years.

The Federal Government has therefore given an order that he should explain why he has been wearing a mask before the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic!

Egbon Lagbaja, it's a joke in case you're reading this ooo. Am one of your fan ooo.

PoliticsRe: Sanwo-olu Commissions 264 Units Of Flats In Lekki by oluspicy: 10:25pm On May 28, 2020
Nice development.

Am very familiar with Lekki. There so many properties that are locked up due to high cost of rent or sale. And the only occupants are the abokis and their yarinyas.

Imagine for someone paying as high as 700,000p/a for boys quarter (cubicle size).

There are vast acres of land around Ibeju or Eleko where the government can build affordable houses for the people and the mortgage can be spread over years. But they won't do the needful instead doing otherwise.

How many average Lagosian can afford a property in Lekki where these houses were built? But the elites will be beneficial to these houses whereas commanding an expensive price that is not based on intrinsic worth or that is beyond a prospective average buyer's means.

The light will soon shine.

RomanceLong Distance Relationship: How To Make It Work by oluspicy(op): 6:59pm On May 25, 2020
Are you in a long distance relationship (LDR), or considering entering one? I really want you to evaluate it carefully, whereas it was once argued that the vast majority of people in long distance relationship are statistically doomed to fail and eventually break up.

There are many of possible reasons to consider in a long distance relationship’s failure which are:
• Lies;
• Lack of love;
• Bitterness;
• Detachment;
• Silence;
• Jealousy;
• Deception;
• Lack of listening;
• Inexperience;
• Idealization;
• Loneliness;
• Lack of Vision;
• Monotony;
• Sadness;
• Criticism and so on.

This might be a bitter truth, but I have a feeling a lot of people out there needs to read this;
It takes a strong person to keep a long distance relationship, a strong, disciplined and sold out to person, because this ministry is not for juvenile’s mindset at all, there are just too many selfless sacrifices to be made. But before I go further I want you to know that distance isn’t a big factor in a relationship, communication is. But most of all, commitment is the most paramount one.

Let’s take a look at the following criteria of long distant relationship:

1. COMMUNICATION
For instance, you cannot be in a long distance relationship and lack the spirit of communication, unless you just want to waste your time and the precious time of your partner, valuable time that you both would have used to learn entrepreneurship skills.
Communication is essential and everything over the miles. It is the real definition of love in a long distance relationship. You must love talking by force. You must love calling. You must love sending texts.

Simply put, you’ve got to be baptized in the art of calling, texting and chatting, else the relationship cannot be sustained.

2. LISTENING
Right next to this is also the spirit of listening. And this is even the difficult part. Since you cannot see each other face to face in order to read body language and observe each other expressions, you have to be gifted in reading between the lines of every word, carefully paying rapt attention to the full stops and commas, pauses and breaks, including the ability to discern when something is bothering he or she and when in need of each other attention.

My brothers and sisters it’s a difficult job, to fully understand and relate with another person through the thin threads of a telephone.

3. PATIENT AND DISCIPLINE
More importantly, you need the anointing of patience and discipline in other for you two to pull it through.
Some nights you are going to need trust to love your partner the next day.
Some nights you are going to need self-discipline to stay faithful the next day.
Some nights you are going to need a whole lot of patience to keep starving yourself in other to stay committed the next day. I know here you understand what I mean. A whole lot of patience to say no to a harmless happy hour.

4. FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
Then, the boss of them all, you are going to need to make a lot of financial commitments. It is not a choice, this one is compulsory. Whoever said that love don’t cost a thing have no idea of what he or she is was talking about.
You have to really be a giver of these whether you like it or not;
• Your time;
• Energy;
• Mental resource;
• Prayers;
• Money, money, money, more money… And again I say, money!

The calls and text messages are not going to take care of itself, would it? You’ve got to buy airtime, and stay talking on the phone for long.
Normally you will feel no pressure when your data subscription expires, but when you have a baby (as you normally call each other), you cannot be comfortable without data for a day, because you know how much different social media platforms helps you two stay in touch. The sacrifices required in a distance relationship are not for the juveniles, you just know you cannot invest this much on something you are not ready to see through to marriage.

How about gifting? Father Christmas will not send him or her gifts for you. You have to save up to put up love surprises for your partner. Depriving yourself of your pleasures, to make sure you do what you have to do.

5. BEING CREATIVELY ROMANTIC
Did I mention how extremely creative you have to be with your romance? You know you cannot say “I love you” the same way you said it last month? In fact, you can both be calling each other and talking on the phone every day for hours and still not be communicating anything. I know you understand more of this aspect.

6. EMOTIONAL MATURITY
This is another critical aspect to consider in LDR. This is when there is an argument or a fight, and reach a lasting compromise and/or make up from both side. Is a must for partners to take responsibility for themselves and their actions in order to subsequently recognize the other person’s point of view. Remember each other individual differences in order to understand each other perfectly.
I want you to know that it is not distance that break relationship, or not distance that make partners cheat, but it is the lack of emotional maturity, commitment and discipline.

Every relationship between the opposite sex is a risk, no one knows the one that will be successful but two committed partners can share one umbrella and weather the storm together.

I want you to remember this: “Distance will always mean so little when someone mean so much.”

This is my take, you can add yours.

Christianity Etc7 Ways To Overcome A Mountain by oluspicy(op): 11:37am On May 24, 2020
RCCG SPECIAL SUNDAY SERVICE (24/05/2020)

TOPIC: 7 WAYS TO OVERCOME A MOUNTAIN

TEXT: EXODUS 14:13-18

MINISTERING: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE
A mountain is an obstacle blocking your way; an unexpected problem or unfamiliar crisis.

Ways to Deal with a Mountain:
1. Turn back. Numbers 14:1-4. The Israelites wanted to appoint a captain so they could go back to Egypt.

2. To go round it; to look for a way around it. The problem with going round a mountain is that you don't know how far it stretches. Numbers 32:13.

3. Climbing the mountain. Exodus 17:8-13.

4. Bore a hole/tunnel through the mountain: Exodus 14:21-28. The Red Sea parted and the children of Israel passed through.

5. Dynamite the mountain: Get some huge explosives and blow the mountain. Joshua 6:1-20.

6. You can turn the mountain to a habitation; you can sit on the mountain or build a house on it. 2 Kings 4:18-37

7. Fly over the mountain: Isaiah 40:31. This is the greatest option of all. The mountain will be there but you'll be flying above it.

There are certain situations you must pass through; certain mountains you must bore your way through. Isaiah 43:2

What you must do to bore your way through:
1. Trust God the Father knowing that nothing takes God by surprise. Psalm 90:2. Trust God the Son because He said He is the Way. John 14:6, Acts 2:1-4.

2. Remember God's mercies and His faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. God has brought you thus far; He's not going to disappoint you now. 1 Samuel 17:34-37, Hebrews 13:8.

3. Believe God's prophets. 2 Chronicles 20:20; the children of Israel didn't hear from God; they only heard from Moses.

4. You must take a step of faith. The just shall live by faith; which God said 4 times in the Bible. Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38.

Relax, live by faith; God cannot fail you.

Remember God's faithfulness and mercies and then move forward. 1 Peter 5:7.

Whatever problem you're facing, roll it unto the Almighty God and leave it there. He's more than enough to handle them.

If you haven't surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, cross over to the right side. He's the One who can make a way where there's no way. He is the Way.

Christianity EtcHumility by oluspicy(op): 10:57pm On May 16, 2020
Humility is a conscious acknowledgement of our inadequacies, whereas compelling us to lean entirely on God. It takes a measure of humility to acknowledge that we lacked the capacity to save our own souls thereby positioning ourselves to receive God’s grace for salvation.

It also takes humility to receive God’s grace for every other area of our life. The truth is, we do not have the capacity, within ourselves, to actualize God’s plan for our lives, besides, we need the grace of God.

Humility is not and can never be embarrassed by its own limitations and has no difficulty ascribing glory to God for feats accomplished. Also in my own view, humility has no airs and holds no sense of superiority over its fellows, because it knows that all that it has comes from God.

The Bible says of Jesus, “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place” (Philippians 2:7-9).

Therefore, it is of good to cloak ourselves in humility as we proceed in our day-to-day activities. Let us, acknowledging our inadequacies, lean entirely on God for grace. The Lord will multiply grace to you today, in Jesus’ name.

Countless time.

I remember when I had one when I was 10.

I was sent an errand to a shop opposite our house and I mis-calculated the busy road, before I could say jack, a water tanker hit me badly that I passed out immediately. But later woke up on the hospital bed.

This one occurred last year on a trip from Lagos to Niger State... We left Lagos as at 5am, whereas it was still dark, and was having a smooth ride on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway when a truck with full load of plastic products suddenly stopped to pick some fallen 50kg jerrycans. We were so lucky that our driver was able to manuvered the car smartly and timely to avoid collision with the truck cos our car was at close range. In fact this occured within 2-3mins.

God has really saved me from so many road accidents and near deaths.
