What is left now is knowing when they shortlist those who they regard as being successful so that everyone can have peace of mind. People don't sleep well after writing those tests. |
lantessy:Baba, nor be say you talk am, but those guys questions nor be here oh. That aptitude test didn't come to chop rice and beans aswear, it came to kill. I wonder if people actually pass all the modules in their tests. your links were helpful. But I did check out diagrammatic reasoning before going so it was a lag area. |
And some BSc holders will be earning 242k as graduate Trainees in one of the first generation banks. It is well. |
Stelvin101:If all those driving by had extinguishers and made concerted efforts together to control the fire, it may not have spread badly. It would have made sense if you said that people didn't attempt to tackle the fire because they lacked the training and necessary equipment to guard them from the heat. Not that they shouldn't try because of the heat or imminent explosion. This car fire is coming from the rear, most likely the fuel tank and it takes approximately 7 minutes for a burning fuel to explode. Moreover, explosion occurs when there is a sudden exposure of the burning fuel to oxygen. From the fire above, the burning fuel is already in equilibrium with the surrounding oxygen (it had become acclimatised with the surrounding air) and if the explosion hadn't occurred after 7 minutes, may likely not occur. Hence anyone with the equipment and expertise could have moved in and attempt to extinguish the fire and salvage whatever is possible from the car. But if the fear of the heat and explosion is your reason, then when (God forbid) your house is burning, kindly remember to heed your advice, stay away and allow it burn to the ground. Don't bother calling the fire service because according to you, they shouldn't try, lest the heat or explosion kills them |
Thanks for rekindling the memories. Those were the days really. I don't know what they have today, but I'd take those days, anytime. Golden generation |
Decryptor:OK, so according to you: There was no fire incident, No priest got burnt, No priest was flown abroad, I give uppp ![]() |
There's a lodge /hostel named Allen Avenue there. The reporter/editor failed to indicate that specific detail. Decryptor: |

You should have just said 'which female lawyer'. Because as it is on the present day fictional planet, no lawyer slays like Harvey Spectre in confidence, intelligence, finesse, poise and delivery. |
People please stop flaunting ignorance like it's bragging rights. The downstream sector commonly refers to the refining of petroleum crude oil and the processing and purifying of raw natural gas, as well as the marketing and distribution of products derived from crude oil and natural gas. The downstream sector reaches consumers through products such as gasoline or petrol, kerosene, jet fuel, diesel oil, heating oil, fuel oils, lubricants, waxes, asphalt, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as well as hundreds of petrochemicals. That being said, MRS is a major player in the Nigerian downstream petroleum sector. MRS holdings{owned by Sayyu Dantata} is entirely different from Masters Energy{owned by Uche Sampson Ogah} . Please Don't make that kind of mistake on national media by assuming that Masters energy retail outlets are under MRS . They're both into similar kind of business in the downstream sector, from the importation to the marketing and retailing of petroleum products and petrochemicals. Also, as regards the activities and pranks of the petrol stations, I will have you know that majority of the stations you see could be franchise owned with just a very small percentage being owned by the company whose name they bear. It takes the stress of managing them away from the tables of top executives whose plates are full already with working decisions that spans across various operations and departments . Besides, if MRS were to fully manage the filling stations by themselves, it would require having a totally separate arm of business that's focused on the retail outlets and this means more salaries and manpower to take care of and they're not interested in adding more to their overhead costs. Remember that MRS bought over what's left of the Chevron-Texaco downstream and the new management chose to focus on the importation, storage and marketing side of the business and not having much to do with retailing. |
Isn't it surprising that just after the presidential spokesperson cautions BBOG that they're being too harsh on criticising the government, we're now hearing news that the same government just appointed the BBOG founder into a very juicy position? Never mind that nothing from her previous positions, academic and career paths indicates that she's technocratic enough to handle such a sensitive office that is one of the big income sources for the federation accounts. Just throw enough flak at the government and they throw you one juicy 'shut up' post. Reject it at your own peril. |
You're welcome. Speaking from experience. Sometimes we should overlook our desire for low cost solution and look at long term convenience. I've used all those engines, small and big. During the period with Tiger, was always a hectic time. From the moment I start running the engine till I put it off, it's always fluctuating and I'm always running to regulate it to and fro. Crazy. Since Firman 3000 and 1800 came in, I only owe them debts of oil monitoring and servicing in 2 or 3 months. They only break down due to negligence of not changing oil when due obinna2nv: |
The baby mama business didn't start today. All those who are proponents of the baby mama culture, hope you can see the negative social and demoralising effects it has on those kids growing up. |
Omolola1:would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places And kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet And I would fly on a wings of a bird I knew could take me highest Breathe in, breathe out You keep me alive You are the fire burning inside Breathe in breathe out You keep me alive You are my fire, my passions for life I would dance with the feet I knew could always follow And take the road that had the straightest line You do all of these things for me You are all, and then some Breathe in, breathe out You keep me alive You are the fire burning inside Breathe in breathe out You keep me alive You are the fire burning inside of me You are my passion for life Passions was 8pm Wednesdays, AIT. When you watch the opening and closing montages over several episodes, you can't help but learn that beautiful song |
I thought the thread was for soaps aired in the 90's. Only 2 were aired in the 90's, Secrets of the sand and Passions. The rest were post 2000. That Passions though, had us running back from midweek church service just to catch up with it on AIT. Good old days. I remember Sheridan and Timi, and yes, the final scenes of having an alive but unconscious person in a coffin ready to be buried. Whatever happened later? |
YOLO1:Learn more about identifying the original /counterfeit from this website http://en.sumecfirman.com/anti-fake They have franchise partners in Nigeria and there you can get their original products and advice on the various options available. There's one located in Alaba at Sunny busstop. Can also check out with the one called Ezechuddy Nig Ltd. |
You know the thing bibiking7: |
That small Tiger gen is always a tale of woes despite the much touted fuel efficiency it has. If you can totally service that small Tiger gen by yourself without having to call an engine mechanic for every fault then go with the small Tiger, but mind you, that Tiger has at least 3 variants in the market {main original, China original and China substandard} and you won't believe the price of the main original one if they told you. Hence they will rather keep selling the cheaper and substandard ones rather than trying to convince you that Original Tiger is 28k thereabouts. As for the Sumec firman, I'd rather advice you buy a 'firman' product. There's a difference between firman and Sumec firman, the guy that was advertising Ezechuddy can enlighten us more. But if you are going for the firman, be sure to have an above average maintenance habit towards it, that 1.8kva gen has a constant need for regular oil gauging and changing. Change the oil once every month and service it every 2 months or thereabouts and it's a darling. Talking about fuel consumption, it all depends on a combination of these factors - the ability of your mechanic to adjust your carburettor for less fuel consumption, the power output you tune on the engine {that screw you use to 'high' the engine} and the load it's carrying . When I use the small firman 1800, I put off unnecessary bulbs and those that must be on are energy saving bulbs. 1litre lasts for about 3hrs with freezer, could last longer without the freezer and any unnecessary fans. |

My brother, 2007 /2008. He was always stuck on the site anytime we're back home on holidays. I was a guest from then till 2013 when I decided to register (when I was following Mazi Omenuko stories) . Seeing how long it took me to register, I can't tell if he's registered too or remains a guest. |
charix:And I thought you would have used your Google before asking me to do same. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was born and raised in Nsukka but her family is from Abba town in Njikoka LGA which is in Anambra central. Nnewi is in Anambra South. These details are available for free on her bio, on the back cover of her books and on your dear Google {if you would care to search properly}. So much about me behaving like a 'Nairalander' |
charix:Chimamanda is not from Nnewi, where did you get that from? |
Though not specified, but Can a Chemical Engineering graduate fit in to any of their positions? I'm wondering what their engineering and manufacturing is about |
If you are around ikeja, you could Novelle center. AA plaza, 2 Akin Osiyemi Street, Allen, ikeja. They're NEBOSH and they equally offer HSE 123 general, there are discounts for kopas |
I can work in/around Ajah/ibeju /Lekki. I know someone I could squat with.
