I signed out of Antenatal last Thursday, my hospital has a separate building for Antenatal so we don’t use the main clinic, when the nurse saw my file she said Mrs O. Is leaving us ooo we will miss you, chai my head con Dey swell like garri Ijebu but then Every beginning must have ending.

Stop giving us goosebumps ojare, even if you sign out, we will drag you back under 6 months.
The thing con dey look like graduation when you will start missing your friends, lectures and even the school premises

Im finally pregnant after TTC for 11 months i will need lot of help in the house as nairaland as been a place where i come to for help.
presently no symptom.
i have been having a serious tooth ache due to my upper wisdom tooth with no matching tooth down causing me to chew my gum, the dentist said the only solution is to remove it. i dont know if it is safe during early pergnancy since i will be giving injection and drugs for it thou the dentist said it is safe but i will like to know from the house if it is safe. Thanks.

BA #team March....baby arrived yesterday. Birth weight 3.2 kg .. I opted for Cs at almost close to being fully dilated.... I dunno what it was but I kept shouting C's...mum and mum in law are still mad at me for it . In fact I started feeling bad about it especially with the harder recovery process . Full bs to come later. Baby swallowed meconium and didn't cry after he came out till doctor removed it Asides the guilt im feeling for opting for Cs when there was no need for it, we r fine

Nothing can stress me oo my sister, thank God i have seen all my siblings have children so i learnt from them what is essential and not essential

You see that baby bath is my biggest issue, there never seem to be good storage for it as in my sisters own just look like it litters their house and i don't like plenty buckets around the house which i already have but at the same time, i won't want to take anew born into adult bathroom just yet, wo the dilemma is real jare but i'll figure it out.

I know a woman that uses her normal big bowl oo, puts her legs in it and bathes her baby since all the bathing thing is done in her room and not in public. Just get the cheap one

This is the pic of what I got, contains potty, bucket, bowl bailer etc. I'm not in Lagos ma but you can get them in regular markets there

One month kee , that is against Nigerian Labour law, no matter what, standard maternity leave is 3 months (6 weeks before delivery and 6 weeks after delivery) and some org allows you to take the 12 weeks stretch from delivery. Lagos state even give 6 months maternity leave with full pay

Why are some employers like this? how will you not care about the welfare of your staff? by that 1 month sef you have not had your 6 weeks postnatal appointment to get an all clear from your Dr, what about CS mothers? they won't have fully healed/recovered by that 1 month

If you have HR pls refer them to the Nigerian Labour Law, on this topic, i am happy to help on this matter

Naso we see am oo. As it is sef, I have colleagues that have had 3 kids or more under this same one month something ooo.

U dt u ve just one month maternity leave, let ur baby to be full time abeg... Cs baby born earlier dan their estimated date of delivery need lots of breastmilk to stay strong and healthy cs the digestive system is d late organ that developed in babies n its only breastmilk that it can digest with no issues.... No porting 4 u ooo... Let baby cook very well inside u... Pls 4 d sake of ur baby, dont pray 4 porting, its d least dt u cn do biko.... We all gaz to sacrifice one thing 4 d oda 4 our babies.... N 4 d groin pains n pelvic pains... I think dey go hands in hands ooo... N dt pain gt worst as ur belly grows (story of my life) (ㄒoㄒ)

Also pls I have a question, they asked us to do scan. My Edd from my LMP is 31st of May and m currently 27weeks. The new scan I did on Wednesday is saying 15th of May(29weeks). I don't understand which one is the accurate one to give birth. DH is even happy the thing is shifting cos his birthday is 21st of May and he wants a birthday mate.
What m I missing pls cos I don't understand

Scan dates are mostly based on baby size/weight. I once had a 2weeks earlier course like that but your best bet is your LMP +/- 2 weeks

On Diapers, just beside the size you'll see it Indicating weight in kg. Some diapers have their size 2 ranging from 3-6kg, size 3, 4-9kg. Don't be confused
