This is my third pregnancy. I am 8weeks gone but my bump is showing already! Everyone knows I am pregnant!
I don't know, should it be a concern cos I haven't started antenatal yet.

Has anyone had same experience?

N.b.
My tummy is flat on a norm and my second child is 3yrs old.

This is the third time your uterus would be expanding so It shouldn't be of concern to you mama, you are nurturing God's gift to you. Who knows you could also be carrying double , please rock your bump with joy

It's a BFP for me, I got my first +ve Cd23 which is 7days before AF is due, and d lines has been getting darker ever since... AF is suppose to be due on 25th of dis month I pray d testimony will go round in Jesus name....

My hospital doesnt give cough syrup to kids below 3 yrs. They still dont give Zara at 2yrs+.

have u tried palm oil +sugar?
i think someone once mentioned ori+salt or so...I think iomoge2 or so, 'm not sure again,

I also read about putting sliced onions under ur feet and then wear socks to sleep overnight, that it works for cold, flu etc

there is another cough remedy shared on a group somewhere, using onions+garlic etc, I only tried once and she spat it out so i didnt bother, I cld share if u want t try.

Google brought me to this thread and I'm glad I found it.
I did Cs on 9th October 2020. I was advised to wait for 15 months by my doctor before taking in again. However, I got pregnant again after 14 months, I want to attempt VBAC what do you guys think?
I'm 16 weeks gone. Also for people in ph, I did the first CS at prime hospital, I want to consider save a life now. Does anyone know how good they are? I don't want to go back to prime because my first Cs was unnecessary and could have been avoided.

If you really think the first cs was unnecessary and you are ready to brace up for VBAC, why not. Just read up on VBAC and don't entertain any form of FEAR or negativity. I know an aunt who had her first via Cs and while still nursing (not up to 8 months) she got pregnant again, her older siblings were complaining cos she didn't wait for the right time to properly heal up but she cut them off only to call them when she delivered and it was VBAC, had another one again via VD. Moreover the doctor said 15 months and your blessing cam after 14 month

Story of my life... This is a typical case of I didn't know I was pregnant.
I stopped breastfeeding my 1year old son last year September... My menses was coming on and off.. so I wasn't that worried thinking it would normalize,I even had to take antibiotics incase there is any infection.
I didn't know I was pregnant until an old woman drew my attention to it...
So I went for scan this year Jan 10 nd scan said 13weeks4days... Right now I don't even know how many weeks I am and when I took in...

Download a pregnancy app on playstore, it will ask of either LMP or EDD. Since you don't know your LMP, input the EDD on the scan result you got in January, it will tell how many week2you are at present and onward

After TTC for about 18months, God did it and we were like them that dream(testimony on TTC thread).

Pregnancy journey began, morning sickness was epic, could hold anything down, had to take IV fluids. I was okay around the 4th month and I could eat well.

Fast forward to 36 weeks I started getting depressed because we were financially stranded and the thought of baby coming anytime overwhelmed me. I had thought of getting some money and going for thrift but God stepped in and gave us a jaw dropping financial surprise(not a single thrift in our shopping)
.
My feet and ankle started swelling, and gradually the whole of my legs up to my waist. Daily activities became a task, had to be scheduled for induction few days after Edd.

Induction was fast,it wasn't upto 12hrs. The doctor and the mid wives were surprised at how fast I progressed. I started having contractions like an hour after the second pill was inserted. The doctor examined me and said I was about 6cm dilated. My water broke a few minutes after and before the midwife that was with me knew it, membrane ruptured. I just felt something like a balloon come out of my vagina, I was quickly transfered to the delivery couch and was instructed not to push until I was asked to. it took a while for baby head to crown( those hours were the longest of my life).
I couldn't push after baby's head crowned, I was given drip with oxytocin to help strengthen the contractions. After a while I was given an episiotomy and my baby girl slid out.

Since your vitals are normal, you are fine. Just ensure your legs are always raised when you sit and when you sleep. Keep them on a pillow always

Mamas….I’ve been considering buying bottle sterilizer but I feel it’s a waste of money…I don’t want to buy things that are not necessary in this buhari era…abeg is the old way of boiling bottles to sterilize no longer done..:I’m asking cuz mum in law told me hope you’ve gotten sterilizers and I was like…if mumcy no consider boiling bottles why should I…either ways if it’s still doable I’m up for it….

Instead of buying the bottle steriliser, why not buy Milton Sterilising tablets or the liquid one to save cost and still serve same purpose and you may not use it always sef.

As to your question on the TTC thread, you have to take things calmly and work with you doctor cos the location of the fibroid also matters. Some degenerate in pregnancy and never surface again. Just be calm and work with your doctor

Fansidar was what I took too o and I felt exactly the way u felt.
Please o my husband just scared me about taking cold water said it will give the baby jaundice and he will start shivering when he is born. Omo fear grab me immediately,to think that uptill now I still can't take ordinary water the type of warning he gave me ehn

Lol, some women eat blocks and I've not seen or heard their babies shiver when born oo.. He probably doesn't want you to be drinking cold water and he brought up those old wives tale for you . I don't even seem to be interested in drinking cold water except its soft drink or yoghurt. Whatever works for you. You can also dilute your water a little so it's not too cold

I hate that Fansidar Like mad, it made me feel so terrible when I took it December..I'm scared to take again sef, I will tell them I can't take it if I see them write it for me. I had shortness of breath, dizziness, hallucinations and all the yamayama signs.. haba..abeg o

The drug is very strong oo, You need to see me sweat like a she goat after using the drug and the sweat was giving me this hospital vibes (terrible smell), I had to clean up and use roll on to get that smell off me before I could sleep... I won't collect again too oo, the thing showed me shege.

I took my TT injection yesterday. Suppose to be my second TT injection but the nurses at general hospital said am starting all over again cos the last one I took was in December. They said it's supposed to be taken at 4weeks interval. So we are starting all over again.. it's just #100

Took the anti malaria drugs too yesterday and ended up feeling feverish through out yesterday, didn't feel okay till I threw up. But totally fine now

I took my second dose last month instead of December as my doc was carried away with the end of the year party they had that day(I kukuma told him the rice they want to share did not make him remember my second TT dose and he was laughing). Since its not more than 100naira you are good to go but don't forget at your next appointment.

What type of antimalaria did you take? I took the first (Amalar) and was fine, the second dose they gave me (swidar/ fansidar) I was restless until I threw up and I felt weak/sick for 2-3 days but the body is fine now.

Long story, i went for scan first week of Jan and was told i was 8weeks. 2 nights ago, i saw a dark blood like stain on my pant, so i went to the hospital to see a doc who sent me for a scan. I was attended to by another sonographer, he told me i was 17 weeks and i was shocked, cox its supposed to be around 13 weeks, i went back to the doc who told me to go for an external scan in echo lab, cox he too was surprised at the difference from my ist scan. So i went for the scan today and the scan showed 17 weeks just like the one of yesterday, infact the sonographer said the baby he is seeing can't be 13 weeks...in all I'm just grateful to God that this was sorted now... So that's how i drew my conclusion.

Another Pointer, i was supposed to renew my injection on the 16th of October last year, i didn't renew till 5th Nov, from my calculations pregnancy took place in October which made the Nov injection not to work.

Wow, the first sonographer is doing I.T ni or what, 4 weeks difference ooo. Hope the blood stain has stopped? Thank God baby is fine.

Na me be this so you should insult me very well. If you see big box wey I carried to the hospital for my two deliveries even the nurses and other pregnant moms were just laughing. I do pack hubby clothes sef join but always in hurry to leave the next day before people start opening their stalls.

Why were you in a hurry to leave, instead of you to wait and finish all the clothes you packed . I can imagine the way your hubby would be eyeing your extra large box as you fit no gree carry small bag

Let me share my BA, it might encourage some pple here.

I don't even know where exactly to start. I have been visiting the TTC thread and this thread long before I even commented.
Got married to my God's gift to me really. A perfect gentleman and God's beloved. Took in the next month and birthed our angel without stress. I didn't know trying to conceive can ever be difficult, not to talk of almost impossible!

Miscarried the first pregnancy that happened even when we weren't trying.
Then I started having chronic tummy pains. I did all the tests in this world, MRI,CT scan,all the scans u can think of,yet nothing was seen!
But I kept languishing in undescribable pains! Oh how I wept each pain episode

I started numbing the pains with an addictive drug,because normal pain killers cant do it.
I decided to try again, I stopped d drug,and conceived again. I lost this one in the most brutal way....
Was at work,and had a sharp pain that brought me down. I was carried out.
Started having rectal pulling. Was rushed to the hospital,and was told it was ectopic

I died that day. I wailed! I started bleeding.
I was scheduled for an emergency. Darling hubby rushed down becos we weren't together cos of work. I went in for the surgery,the surgery was done. Again nothing was seen!!! No baby,no issues with me, absolutely nothing! I was wheeled out

That was my second miscarriage. The baby obviously left bfor I was wheeled in because I kept expelling some things at the hospital while waiting

I started trying again like mad. If u have ever had a loss,you will know exactly how hurting it feels and the urgent need u get to try again.
Tried and tried and tried,nothing again after a year of the second miscarriage.
Pple have started making side comments; do u still have only one child? Isn't it time for ur child to have siblings,etc
If I that have one suffered like that....I don't want to imagine what those without are going through!
Hubby decided to come home and stay more with me cos of the undiagnosed pains and all.
Took in again,this time around,we decided to keep it to ourselves.We were in intense prayers. Did scan and everything was ok.started duphaston.
3 months later,went to do scan and received the most hurting news; the heart has stopped! that was the third miscarriage.

The pain I felt can't even be described at this point. We were like ghosts.hubby and I. We missed the turn to our house while going back. It was horrible. I just kept sobbing. You can't hear me cry,but tears kept pouring down. Unstoppable,heart wrenching and excruciating.
I refused to remove my baby. I wished he/she will just start the beating heart again. But nothing. God said not yet.Hadto take drugs to expel it,and bled. After the whole process. We stopped trying.we said let's rest for a while.
I even started a contraceptive immediately. Taken once monthly. Took it twice and decided to wait for my period to start bfor I will know if my cycle has returned.....my period never started. I even went to do scan,the radiographer said I had PCOS,cos he saw many eggs. He didn't know they were eggs that stopped growing cos of the contraceptive I was on. We kept waiting for the period.
After some time,we just decided to do pregnancy test just in case,came out positive!
U see,when God decides to bless you or do His thing,He definitely needs no permission and He makes it perfect!
I was placed on progesterone insert and vasoprin. It might have helped but I know God was in charge.

I started bleeding at 34weeks, because of placenta previa. Was rushed to the hospital and had emergency cs because I lost some liquor too with the blood and baby was at risk.
In few minutes,I held the most gorgeous baby u will ever see! God's perfect gift to us!

What do I want to say?
Hold on! Your miracle is on the way,whoever you are!
