Cappo, I don't have strength to make hair oo, the 14 pieces of all back on my head sef is long overdue for loosing but I can't fit that's why I started wearing wig since yesterday. Infact after I got to work yesterday my head way heavy like I would faint I had to quickly remove it till when it was time to go home. It's just for cover up. I wish I can sit and make fine hair like many slay mamas but I drip from my head when I sweat

It's a bumpy Tuesday at 30+, glory be to God.

I woke up on the 14th of February with terrible stomach pains. I was rushed to d hospital and did scan . Was told d hernia in 3 places had become strangulated. That I and baby are in distress I was 34 weeks 2 days then. I planned for a C-section at 37weeks. I couldn't bear it cos d pain was not stopping. I was wheeled into the theatre ND brought out 3hrs later. A lot of repairs were made...the diasis recti, appendicitis plus patching of d ruptured uterus. I thank God for life. Baby came out 2.1kg not breathing well. We were referred to a general hospital. That's another story.. 4 cylinders of oxygen, treatment for high bilirubin. It was traumatic but I thank God I and baby are home and doing fine. It was just God all the way.. Team March..I don port oh..Edd was 26th March.. Birthday...14th February. Gender...XY

Good afternoon mamas, please where in Lagos can I get good baby overall wears not in packs preferably so I can know the actual size. Is pep store a good or cheap alternative? And for those who has used the jimpo Ori set did you go to the hospital with it or you bought another baby soap just 1 piece to avoid nurses misplacing the whole jimpo set? Where can I get nursing bra please. Which cream is best for diaper rash please? Thanks for your answers my people.

For diaper rash, I've heard people say blueseal vaseline is very good. For me personally, anything apart from sudocream as I don't like the way it smells.
You also don't have to go with the entire Jimpo set to the hospital. I plan on buying 1 piece of soap that I'll take along since the jimpo is inside container and when we get home we'll continue with jimpo or just fetch a little soap and cream and put in any tiny container you have.
From a video I saw on YouTube where a lady was packing her hospital bag, she mentioned pep store items as cheap, you may want to try it out.
Nursing bras can be gotten from anywhere baby items are being sold

Make I continue my story now wey time dey.
So the did the 9VE and discovered i was almost there. Before I knew what was happening, the strong poo urge don start to the hit me back to back,I hear am oh and I cry oh who pretense hep. Matron say oya make I do the poo wey the disturb me,na him I start to push oh,before I could say pim,baby have comot.
Got the shocker of my life,na baby girl oh. My joy knew no bounds. I was even arguing tell them I was told is a boy.
Time to deliver placenta,as soon as the placenta came out,next na blood like say na tap them open. She was wondering what was causing the bleed but couldn't place her hand on it. She called the doctor to come check,na there another wahala start. Na faint remain for me,the pain was something else. It was discovered I had cervical laceration. They were busy poking hands and instruments just to locate the source of the bleed but I was not cooperating cause the pain was out of this world. The located the source and clamped and told me it was theatre straight for repair.
Gave birth around 6pm and headed for the theatre pass 12am this morning. I sha don't know what happened oh but I woke up speaking nonsense . I was high on anesthesia.
All I can say is thank God,He who began the good work has finished it,all glory to his name.
NB: met one devil in white who had no manner but I sha give am my piece of mind. While the doctors were poking and I was screaming and crying, instead of the idiot doctor to calm me down,all he could say was 'Madam cooperate now,are you the first woman to give birth?' Those hurtful words made me cry. I sha approached him and give him a piece of my mind and he still had the mouth to talk rubbish, he said if am looking for an apology, am not getting it. Told him to shove it up his a***** .
I sha thank God for every.
Born 25 feb by 6: 15pm,and God answered my prayer and gave me my heart desire.

A repeat test in few days will show it darker than this as your HCG levels are still building up.

Good morning all. I have been a silent reader on this forum for a while but i was waiting to get to my 2nd trimester to become a vocal member but i miscarried.
Today the pregnancy app i forgot to deactivate sent me the usually weekly milestone celebratory reminder and i have fallen apart since then because this time last week we had our first scan, where my baby was active and doing fine. In fact it took the sonographer sometime to get a clear picture cause the baby was just jumping up and down.
Tuesday evening unexpectedly i started having cramps, before i knew it my water broke, followed by the blood and tissue. By the time we got to the doctor, got a pelvic scan done, i knew my baby had gone. I had to undergo and evacuation.
I had to share this here because i have been trying to find closure going over everything that happened during the days between the scan and the miscarriage. What i ate, did or didn't do, what i could have done to prevent it. This was supposed to be my first, i am at my wit ends as i dont know how to deal with this loss.

Sorry for the loss sis, very soon you'll smile again. As someone who once had a near experience to yours, one thing I didn't do after evacuation was to dwell on what happened. I took it off my mind as if it never happened because if I didn't I would not be able to prep my body for another. I know people have different pain threshold but I'm here to let you know that you need to put that in the past so you can move on. Just so you know that God is faithful and he'll come through for you, I evacuated 2nd of June, can't remember how many days bleeding lasted, had a cycle that month which I started tracking though nothing happened but God showed up with my July cycle.

Don't be downcast, you'll get pregnant again by the grace of God and this time you need to take out time to treat yourself like a newborn, go to the hospital early as you might need progesterone support, while waiting, make sure you treat malaria and typhoid as they can be deadly in pregnancy, start using folic acid as it'll go a long way, include vegetables and fruits in your diet and we'll be here waiting for your BFP

Good morning my good people of nairaland. As I type these now, my wife is in FMC asaba she was admitted since yesterday. Her BP is 140/100 and the doctors carried a urine test on her, they saw protein in the urine. According to her, the doctor told her the protein is 1 percent. Now the doctor is talking about terminating the baby which we refuse. I dont base in Nigeria, because of this baby, I have to spend 5 months in Nigeria just to make sure everything is fine. Please guys is terminating the baby the only options for us. I need this baby so badly. Help me and my wife.

While she is still there, I'll suggest you get another doctor's (a senior gynaecologist) opinion in same hospital or another to know if she can be managed and do that ASAP. HBP is a bad thing in pregnancy and her life is very important right now

Are you sure it's menstruation and not bleeding? A colleague of mine had such and thought it was menstruation but the quantity of pads she was using gave her a second thought and she went to the hospital where she was Checked. Please check with your hospital to be safe..

Good evening mamas. Please I need your help. I did IVF last month and was confirmed positive two weeks ago (February after 5 years TTC. Using the pregnancy app, it showed I am 7 weeks pregnant today. I went for scan today and the comment was that no gestational sac seen in the uterus at the moment. The doctor who did the scan said I should do a beta HCG and the result showed 2432.09mlU/ml. He said with that high HCG, a sac should be visible already. He redid another scan to check for ectopic pregnancy and checked everywhere but nothing was seen. Though he asked I repeat the scan in two weeks time. Please has anyone experienced this before or know anyone and everything turned out great? I have been so worried since I got back

Don't be worried, commit LO Into God's hands, pray, pray and pray. You shouldn't get a BFP after 5 years only for this, I pray at your next appointment you will smile.

So gynea said the result doesn't mean anything, in my mind I was like are you kidding me, he later said 2 other people had that comment when they use the hospital scan so he wants to have a second opinion, he wrote a scan for me and ask me to go somewhere, it's a white man scan center and they have very good machines, did my anomally scan there too.

Whichever way, he said I will be booked because by 38 weeks my baby will be 3.5 or more and he wouldn't want me to risk pushing because of my pelvic. looking at next week for baby's arrival

God will perfect His work in you. Next week is march so you are marching forward just commit everything to God in prayer

this is d reason y i said she shld speak to her doc... Grade 4 placenta means d placenta is mature, n wen placenta is too mature it rip out of d uterus wall causin complications.. Pls do not wait 4 EDD Date... Speak to ur doctor abt early inductn... Take d baby out to avoid story dt touch o... Ani ri aburu... Ameen.

Enjoy yourself sis.. If I see now sef I will eat even though I didn't like it as much when I wasn't pregnant cos it itches my throat but now I must not see it without tasting it. There's virtually no fruit I've not eaten to satisfaction in this journey except the much dreaded pineapple.

Doesn't mean baby is small oo.. With the way my tommy is despite me saying I'm carrying large, my stomach is not big ooo.. Small bump doesn't necessarily mean small baby though there's an estimated weight baby ought to attain at each weekly milestone, body size sometimes matter and the elasticity of the womb (donno if my choice of word is correct). I know a family of grown up women where when they are pregnant, the tommy firsts shoots out and at 4 /5 months you will think they will soon deliver until you catch them carrying on in the next 4/5 months before delivery, that did not make the babies come out as multiple or even measuring 4kg(lol) and the tommy stays pointed no matter what they drink or tie
