Good we insisted on SE VP.
This is what happens when we stand for and protect our own interests.

Congrats to Obi.

Now we are well positioned to clinch the presidency after Atiku.

This is how politics should be.
When Obi left his comfort zone in APGA and joined PDP, only for PDP to lose the center in 2015. People laughed at him, saying he was too ambitious and myopic.

Obi story today is an inspirational One.
Never stay in your comfort zone. Always keep looking for higher grounds, the initial turbulence would be overshadowed by the future benefits.

Congrats, Okwute Igbo nine.
Ide Nnaa, I was one of the few people that kicked against his departure from APGA but I will always follow Okwute wherever he goes. People like Victor Umeh and his clique mocked Obi when Jonathan lost to Buhari, being that Obi was his campaign manager but he (Obi) will always have the last laugh. He is a forthright man and God is with him.

Favor will always follow Peter Obi for what he did for Anambra , and , in particular Anambra north. Peter Obi is not your archetypical politician but he is that guy who is always there and keep gaining momentum.

I dont think there were strong claims anywhere that Nri were smelting iron ,however, Oraeri an Nri outpost had culture of iron casting.

Nri is actually pronounced with very little bearing on the "r", the "r" is so silent you couldn't tell there was an "r."

Peter Obi was not born to a wealthy family. In Fact Peter Obi, during his childhood hawked akara (bean cakes) in onitsha, just to help his mom raise some money for the family.
Please, don't delve into what you do not know. Peter was born into old money. As soon as he graduated he was given a load of money to go into business. I know him very well.

No need replying you, ma nnigga, it wont lead us anywhere. But take this from me, Ndi Anambra are also proud Igbo just like me. Go through my post history and quote me anywhere berating fellow Igbos. You are not the only one who has accused me of such but there is no proof of that because it doesn't exist. And if I want to dress people down I will do it even in their faces ma kwelu dike!

And I really dont need to attack anybody to feel important, it comes from within. I feel privileged to be onye Anambra and if that makes me a supremacist SO BE IT. And I will not reply you again because your hate for Igbos just like your fellow tribes men will never allow you to see the light. Its takes a brave mind to see the light ,accept what they saw and face reality. Attacking people without any tangible reason is a waste of my time.

Ok what if I'm Yoruba, then whathuh
So I must be Yoruba to comment on an open forum or discuss Igbo affairs?

Being that I'm in the mood to be petty today, maybe I should give it to you smiley
Are you not the silly i.diat who only feels good when he can compare himself with other Igbos and see them as lesser than himself?
Anambra people are quite accomplished, but I don't get the fixation with making other igbos feel lesser and smaller.
Do you i.diats have a problem with letting others sing your praises and emulate your success?
I.diats like you actually have a condition called severe inferiority complex, you're basically crying for attention and validation. embarassed cry

PS: Not everyone who challenges Igbo views is a hater or Yoruba or whatever for that matter.
You didn't write anything worth reading just like you have always had. But before you call me names take a look at the mirror. Your name says Africanus but all your time on Nairaland was spent attacking and berating your fellow Africans while pushing superiority agenda. Yes, I am a proud Omanbala to the bone marrow but I never spend time running my fellow Igbos down. Inferiority complex does not run in my gene...I am a descendant of IFEUKWUANIM!

Nigeria itself has no future. It's a sinking ship.
You think Yorubas don't already know this?
Not yet, Nigeria will not disintegrate without a ferocious hostility. The north have gone too far to turn around. They depend on the oil goodies. In fact, it would be suicidal for them to agree to disintegrate. I would not If I were them, they will lose massively because middle-belt will starve them to death! And middle-belt will rather die than align with the north.

Pabloafricanus is a yoruba who is pushing a yoruboid superiority agenda. When he first started with this current moniker about three years ago he was initially solely interested in Yorubas influence in south america but he was also trying to deceive his ancestors in believing he is from South America...lol. Well, as they say , a leopard will never change its stripes. Yoruba and treachery is like chromosomes with chromatin, FFUCKING INSEPARABLE.

Once again, you delivered what should constitute State of the Union rebuttal! Aside that Igbos practice a higher version of democracy, our internal cohesion is very solid. For instance,Town unions are the major drivers of development in Igbo land.Infact, towns contend to outdo each other in internal development till date. Introduction of statehood stifled and corrupted Igbo noble values. If our town unions have a hundredth of the funds at the disposal of the states, they will do more. This method of development is not replicated in any other region.Even the vigilantes in our communities and villages provide better security.I for one cannot recall the last time i heard of theft or any criminal attempted breaking into my family country home.
Fact is there are lots revisionism, half truths, scare mongering and deliberate propaganda assaults on Igbos and some of our people caught the bug hence why we are here battling wiith our own people to declutter their mindset.
Didn't you guys say he is not Igbo ?

True. I'm from Ebonyi North. Ohaukwu in particular and some of my childhood friends answered Okeke.
90% Okekes' you will run into are from Anambra. Just like Enugu bear Ugwu, Ebonyi Onwe, Imo Duru, Abia Kalu. Just because few people you know are Okeke doesn't mean anything. There are over 20 Okeke in Umuoji alone.

One thing you have to give to Onitsha people is there cultural steadfastness, unmatched! And you wonder why they are proud ? Culture elevates sense of self. You can never see an Onicha person saying were, chere, ihula, ugbua, otu ,abuo and whatever word not Anambraic..Woe unto thee that has abandoned his culture and may your bloodline become eternal slaves to my children!!!! Nna, thanks for the constant updates about our great state but I have a question, what is the State government doing about the expansion of that Nkisi-Nkwelle road that cuts through 3-3 in Onitsha?
From college road, Omeife, housing gate and down to magazine junction GRA is always heavy with traffic especially during rush hours.
People living around that area leave their homes as early as 5:30-6:00 am in order to beat traffic and I've seen and heard of people leaving that area for other parts of the city because of this. When is the expansion as promised commencing before the 3-3 area of this city empties out?
Nnaa, let me be honest with you. I like Obiano and I did campaigned for him because I thought he had that magic touch to turn things around very quickly using Anambra mountain of human resources but he has failed in that regard. I know Anambra has alot of pressing issues in all regions but we have what it takes to achieve whatever goal we set for ourselves. I really dont think Obiano has that X Factor in him. Maybe Soludo, Mark Okoye or Chidoka but Obiano haw nothing more to offer and he has qbout three years left, and what can you achieve in three years. I expected him to be more aggressive and intuitive. I expected him to intimidate Anambra billionaires into working together to achieve at least steady power supply. Ifeanyi Uba, Emeka Offor, Godwin Maduka,Coscharis, Ernest Azudialu and co can pull their resources to achieve greatness.

Governor Obiano inaugurates reconstituted 11-member State Oil and Gas Committee

Kenechukwu Ofomah

An 11-member Anambra State Oil and Gas Committee was today inaugurated by Governor Willie Obiano.
The reconstituted committee was inaugurated at the country home of Governor Obiano, Aguleri.
Among the members are Engr. Frank Edozie Chairman, Commissioner for Tertiary and Technical Education, Professor Theresa Obiekezie, the Managing Director, Orient Petroleum Ltd, Engr. Sunny Okoye, Commissioner for Works, Engr Marcel Ifejiofor, Barr Patrick Igwebuike, Professor Charles Ofoegbu, Dr Arinze Agbim, Engr. Gibson Okeke, Dr Ike Nwobodo, Engr. Aloy Attah and Engr Emma Offor
Inauguration after inauguration yet not a ffucking change. Well, his time is almost over with nothing to show for it. No airport, no drainage system, no convention center, no completion of abandoned Onicha hotel, no trees , no running water, no jack, no pin ,no drop. I had confidence in Obiano but he is fast becoming a pathetic failure. All these education achievements he is always celebrating was Obi's work. Sad!

Pazienza is a walking encyclopedia! Nairaland have lost its bit and grit, when intelligent conversations were still holding here, this is around 2008 to 2014 I have watched Pazienza take on some of the most intelligent Yorubas and reduced them to rubble, singlehandedly. Dude is an intellectual giant, full stop. Ide Nnaa, Onlytruth, Odumchi, Obiagu, Ezeagu , and Chinenye are some of my mentors when I joined Nairaland in 2009. From Ide Nnaa writings I learned a big chunk of Igbo history and culture even about myself, hitherto I was just a man wandering man without a knowledge of my identity.

Somebody was accusing me of planting disunity among Igbo, well, I dont hate anybody including Igbo persons from Rivers, Enugu, Delta ,Imo, Ebonyi, and Abia but abum Nwa Omanbala firstly and I will enrich the mind and pocket of an Anambra person before anybody else and I think you should do the same for your people. In Idenmili our mothers used to sing a certain song and it goes like this " esi n'unor di, esi n'unor di, okwa esi n'unor di mma adilu puta ilo." However, I will not like to you guys, I believe we can develop a political agenda that will benefit all Igbo states like a business idea. We dont necessarily have to romance each other because I felt my culture is being tampered with. For instance, Igbo Izugbe is affecting the way we Anambra people speak and I am enraged about this. You kill Anambra culture you kill our spirit and pride and we will be reduced to the level of everybody else.

One thing as Ndigbo we can do to preserve our culture and identity is to trash the Igbo Izugbe and replace it with multiple regional dialects. Igbo Izugbe is a ffucking problem!!

Pazienza, you ignore the derogatory remarks the OFEKE by the name ChimaAdeoye keep making about our Igala brothers. You didn't rebuke him but you are constantly admonishing the efforts of those who are trying to put ignorant folks like odogwu to sword. We have Igala in Anambra and any person that ignores attack on them, well, are you one of us.

You are so sucked into Igbo agenda you almost forgot where you hail from. You dont contribute to the consciousness of the Anambra people. Maybe you need to revisit your priority. As for me I am Anambra firstly and I cant build Igbo land if Anambra if not great!

The latter is southern central Igbo dialect.

Nobody have conversation in that stupidd Igbo Izugbe manufactured from Imo and Abia Igbo. The Only time its used is during Igbo news segment, no more.
