Godogwu: In other words, you are extremely dumb. For starters how old is that country you went to?, were they exploited? Like! How would you compare Nigeria to some european country you visited? Nitwit!U can't compare Nigeria to any European country, they are far ahead in every spheres of development. |
Godogwu: LOL, i can only laugh.... Frankly im not your type that virtually lives on nairaland but i dont have a class now so lets have fun for a bit aii.Dude, Quit the 'I like bronze' behaviour, If u have the experience the OP have had, u can't settle for less, Nigeria is developing negatively, our leaders have no clue what development is all about. |
Na there Nsukka kidnappers association people dey operate? , that road was one of the best in the 90's. |
Spyder880, Do u also cover Delta state for work? |
Another pastor/bishop will soon ask for private jet from PDP at the expense of Nigerians, lol ![]() |
spyder880: 67%! The guy eye dey red oThe way the guy want barber my head fear me o, anyway he don miss him luck be that, na to give the next person a chance to prove himself lol, Spyder, there is one thing I have'nt read on your post or maybe I miss it, that is "legal procedure" in giving/awarding a contract to a builder, what can u advise us on that?, thanks. |
spyder880: I will open a new thread for a new contract we just landed. The project is for a parapet work on a huge bungalow in Ebonyi state. We are going to see how we can do a beautiful parapet with the best of materials at the lowest costs possible. We have started buying the materials already from today but the work proper will start as from next week.Spyder880, "Lowest cost possible" and "most cost efficient" sound great in my hearing, u just remind me of a quotation I got for labour from a builder that is 67 percent exceeds the quotation for the entire materials for the foundation lol, the naija 'make I hit' without reasoning mentality can be annoying at time. Lol. ![]() What standard rate are brick/block layers paid where u are?. Cheer. |
femionasan: Some comments here are so funny. If a woman insults me (which has happened several times) i walk away. Insults dont take anything from you, it is only a man without any pride that will be exchanging words with a woman. And for those who say a Nigerian woman will never apologize, what kind of women do u deal with? I can tell for a fact that in 5 girls that have insulted me, 4 of them have made several attempts to warm their way back into my life, we are still friends but i dont hang around women who have loose tongues. Dont need drama that aint putting money in my pocket. This is the best reply so far. |
DemDem, your aso rock refreshment budget question is being answered. lol. |
They have learned from PDP. |
99.99 percent of Nigeria pastors are 419 living on poor church members Looking for miracle that does not exist. |
spyder880: The Afikpo sand is back as the rivers are receding, this is the best quality sand around here, though very costly (N16,000 for each trip)The sand in delta rivers are white and a trip cost 17000, good to know is high quality sand. |
Atlantic ko, atlanta ni. ![]() |
Spyder, Your threads has been very educative and encouraging, and it has finally encourage me to start the project of my house, as an expert I want your idea of how much I should estimate for labour in the foundation stage?, the house is a 1 storey building with 4 flats of 3 bedroom each, length - 23700mm, width - 13100mm. what is the daily labour rate where u are?, thanks. |
Spyder, Fhemmmy beat me to the observation of using women for hard labour as such, my question is , is there no concrete/cement delivery equipment to hire in nigeria?, it a vehicle that sucked mixture of cement/granite thru pipe to any height, within an hour the decking is done. Very common thing here in europe. I pity those women but anyway they are Looking for their daily bread. |
Op, The car is already on sales here in europe and not only women but men are buying and driving it. ![]() |
thelastPope: Like I indicated in my post, not all diasporans are bad. But most of them are. I repeat, they contribute nothing. There are over 1 million Nigerians in the UK. If a tenth of them contribute meaningfully to Nigeria, believe me, you will feel the impact. These Nigerians even collect monies from many foreign donors in the name of coming to Nigeria to develope the place but end up spending the money on expensive cars. I have first hand experience so I know what I am saying. Most NGOs in Nigeria were started by Nigerians in diaspora and 90% of these NGOs are fraud! They are a nuisance here on NL.E.g Dayokanu, the Abacha 1million man march 419 ngo. Lol ![]() |
Kobojunkie: Thank you and that has been the truth since even the 1970s.Lol, u left Nigeria in the 70's that's why u are out of touch with the reality. |
spyder880: No. Granite, being mostly produced by industries crushing stones are more refined in their segmentation and seperation processes. (One day I will bring in pictures of my study in a company bases at Lokpa Ukwu.)So, as a professional, what size of granite is suitable for foundation, pillars and lintels?. |
spyder880: Yes, there is no problem with this if the gravel is of high quality.Does this also apply to granite? |
Spyder880, Can u use the same gravel for the foundation for the pillars and lintel structures? |
The op is stewwwpid, it's blond hair dye and curling, not indomie. Oloooodoo. |
BizBooks: As others have noted, you can ask for Coke anywhere at least in the US and everybody willIf u say 'coke' in Europe everyone will think u mean cocaine, rather say 'cola'. |
Kobojunkie: How so? So the lies told by mostly UN-ELECTED individuals are worse than the LIES told by ELECTED Government Officials, in charge of the Security, and wellbeing of Nigerian people? 44my school is better than yours, no doubt. |
Kobojunkie: This from a president who has tried on countless occasions to spin the situation in Nigeria to his favor, not realizing that the truth, no matter how hard you try to cover it up, has a way of revealing itself at the end of the day.the spins of the oppositions are worst lol. |
This is so true, that is why they spin every story to suit their sponsors and the hope to use the common man for their personal agenda's i.e the fuel subsidy withdrawal protest, facrook report. Na only Seun never buy im private jet ooo. |
ABUJA—President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday emphasised that the Performance Contract Agreement he signed with his cabinet ministers was not to witch-hunt any of them, but to set targets and measure performances. According to the President, government could no longer rely on the performance assessments of its activities by the media because according to him, the media has been politicised. To improve performance and service quality According to the president, the Performance Contracting System was geared towards improving performance and delivering quality and timely services to the citizens, adding that the agreement would also improve productivity and instill a greater sense of accountability for effective service delivery. He stated: “I read all kinds of things in the media that the President wants to assess the ministers, so that he would know who should go and who would stay. That is not the purpose of this. President Goodluck Jonathan (r) counter-signing the Performance Agreement and Contracting System document for the Ministry of Labour and Productivity as the Minister, Chief Emeka Wogu watched during the signing ceremony of the document with Cabinet Ministers as the President Chaired the Federal Executive Council Meeting at the State House, Abuja. Photo by Abayomi Adeshida “We would have done it probably the first week when we came on board but the key thing is that we have given ourselves points that we think we will get at. We believe that if we get at those points or even if we achieve 70 per cent of that, at least it will be better off for our own country. I am quite pleased that all the Ministers have completed the forms. Not to witch-hunt anybody “I want to assure every one of you who has taken part in the exercise that this is not meant to witch-hunt anybody. “It is to remind all of us, from President to Directors General, to Advisers and other aides, that we are representatives of the Nigerian people, and we are accountable to them at all times. “I had stated clearly during the inauguration of the Federal Executive Council that Ministers are expected to be accountable, productive, transparent and focused.” Speaking on the role of the media, the president said: “Before, the media used to be the voice of the ordinary people but now, the media is the voice of those who own the media houses and those who own the media houses have private jets and those who own private jets are not ordinary people. Lampoons media owners “So the media is now the voice of the powerful people. So, we have to have a way of assessing ourselves.” President Jonathan emphasised that his office and that of the Vice President should also captured the assessment processes, adding that there should be parameters to be used in measuring performances. He enjoined ministers and ministers of state to be conversant with activities of their ministries to reduce areas of friction. ‘The Minister must know everything happening in the ministry, just like the Permanent Secretary, will know everything happening in the ministry. ‘If Minister A does not now what Minister B is doing and Minister B does not know what Minister Ais doing, but the PermanentSecretary knows everything that all of you are doing, the Permanent Secretary becomes a boss of the two ministers and the Permanent Secretary can use your heads to hit yourselves and just laugh at you. ‘I expect that if the main minister travels and I need information, I should call the Minister of State and that Minister of State must give the information about that ministry. “If the Minister of State cannot give the information about that ministry, then something is fundamentally wrong either from two of them or from one of them. “If the minister of state travels in a ministry where we have clear responsibilities, I called the main minister, to give me information, I expect the minister to give me information on that ministry,” he said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/08/media-cannot-assess-my-govt-objectively-jonathan/ |
