ArQueBusieR: Get a life.Dude, I already have a beautiful life, don't even go there. |
Hello Fault finders, What do u have to say about this manner in the picture? It's not compulsory the president must disembark the plane first or exchange pleasantary before everyone else, The playing God attitude of most Nigerians is really becoming psycholigical paranoia. For me, the pic is just simplicity at it best, same goes to GEJ/PEJ pic too.
|
That is Turai ahead before President Yar'dua steps of the plane, what do those jobless fault finders got to say about this?
|
dirtymoney: 2 years ago! And it made frontpage again. Am beginning to believe that nairaland is gradually becoming anti-PEJ.Yes, before election in 2011, BEAF made silly of the topic by posting pic of Tutsi (Yar'dua wife) ahead of the president after the plane landed. |
This topic has been debated about 2 years ago, there is nothing abnormal in it. |
Op, Sometimes a country need to play hard politics to spice others and ignore the criticism, that's is how u proclaim your independent will, Nigeria is a sovereign country and could choose whom to allow in or not, ICC guidelines must not dictate how we run our country, if we want to stand above others as regional power then we needs to make deft moves like this that will spice other countries and the so called holy than thou organisations to ascertain our sovereignty,, afterall Mugabe was allowed into France when his issues was burning and heaven did not fall. With such your relevance is taking into consideration, They should keep shouting while we do our things, welcome to stubborn politics. |
The voice and grammar sound very much like MUSSIWA aka Becomerich. ![]() |
ebdib: Don't try it. The roads aren't even lit. Network may not be found on many roadsAre u serieus?, u want light an express/highway?, even as rich as Germany and France their highways are not lit, only exits and entrances that have lights. No wonder most people are having impossible dreams and expectation from the government. |
homesteady: LOL!! The matter tire me!! Wetin I wan go do for railway university?? LOOL chinko and their wahala!!A country as big as Nigeria needs one, railways is big business and generate different type of subsidiary companies such as construction to high tech. Electrical companies, suppliers will as gain immensely from it too, better we develop such attitude now than to hire people from abroad. |
Gbawe, The online batter wey BEAF give u long time Don turn u to something incurable , your obsessiveness don wipe your sense of logical reasoning, unless u are now under the payroll of Aregbe-rascal. ![]() |
It's difficult to avoid, u might have 1 or 2 things u want to establish back home so u cant resist sending fund to achieve it, just most people don't encourage their dependants to make use of their opportunities, I could only assist a family members financially for his or her education, sometimes u got to learn how to say NO. The general view with most Nigerians back home is a family member should take care of their general needs, for me that wont happen,it encourages false HOPE and LAZINESS, only my parent could get a financial gift from me once in while for support. |
Fhemmmy: Nigeria is a different place, i remember a generator that was bought for me when i was doing fish business last year, bought brand new and packed up few days later and yet i have to buy another one . . . LolIt's a pity 'guarantee policies' are not in place or neglected in Nigeria, if it were to be in an organized country u will get at least 2 years guarantee and if anything happens u 'll get free repair or replacement. |
Op, Stop being stvpid, passport are to be tender at control post when required and not to be flaunted or used for swag, even travelling agencies advice u to keep your passport in a secure place to avoid forgetting, damaging or carelessly losing it, even my European passport is to be tender at the appropriate post and not to flaunt for people to see. |
That Kayode is another Ahmed Musa, his leg is faster than his brain ![]() |
braveheart2012: Jonathan is just a bloody dunce. He is so daft, it's a surprise he doesn't drool when he speaks. What kind of rubbish road construction contract is this? $1 billion to re-pave existing roads and build a fly-over bridge?!!! May he never know peace forever for trying to pass this one to us as progress. May his children reap the fruits of his hands without fail. There is no need to swear,I also once criticized any high cost budgeted for project, I know Nigerian administrators are corrupt but honestly road construction gulps money, sometimes if I compare some roads budget and distance in Nigeria to some road budget and distance in europe, I submit the price is fair, but the quality is what I really can't tell. |
sheymoni: How many of those roads you mentioned have dangote trailers & fuel tanker travelling on it? They should give us the five lanes & dedicate two of it to trailers & tankers. Giving road constructions to RCC is another system of reducing population my FG, cos any road built by RCC claims more lives than HIV/AIDS. Ibadan-ife an exampleHeavy truck transportation/haulage in Europe is 1000 times more than Nigeria, u need to view truck haulage on european roads from the sky, u will think it's a long train moving, however there are laws restricting trucks from drive on the fast lane, overtaking at certain traject and driving at certain hours or days of the week. Yes qualities of roads also matters, the higher the quality the costly it is, when driving on Holland road u will notice the quality compare to when driving on German or French roads. |
HNosegbe: "There's more to free flow of traffic than just numbers of lane"... Agreed. If Nigeria have good roads plan and traffic law well police, we won't be talking of numbers of lanes, in Europe where I live if I drive into a pothole that damage my car all I need to do is stop and call the police, with 15 minutes they are there they verify, fill the papers, take pictures and send it to the government to repair my car, so simple is it, that is why u cant find potholes except during the winter that damages most roads, again our drivers are not helping matters, don't be surprise they account for 85% of the problems. |
trainingict: Which advanced country or developed country have you visited in the world that in 2000 century will leave the busiest expressway from Sagamu to Ibadan connecting the North to Lagos with a dual carriage way. I would have been mentioning countries here, but I don't need that on this forum. Somebody even mentioned that rail line is part of the road. It is then I know that Nigerians can be fooled.First off I live in Western Europe, and once lived in Lagos and use to ply that road, dual carriage ways is a standard norms in highway contruction, at incline plains , busy intersections and ring roads round a city or town the lane extends to 3 or 4, all international, inter- regions/ state roads from Spain - Norway - Bulgaria are dual carriage either side but with very effective road management regimes for effective control of traffic. |
HNosegbe: Is Nigeria an "advanced" country? And u believe 10 lane will solve the problems?, there are more to free flow of traffic than just numbers of lane and to the best of my knowledge only Akwa-Ibom that is trying to develope that principles. |
TheRealYemi: Make him build am first make we see, award for the construction of the East-West road was first announced in 2006, 2013 and the project is not yet half way through! That is not an excuse to doubt, I know some roads in Almighty Germany that is not up to 20 km are being worked on for over 10 year and still not finish. Would u say they are incapable? |
HNosegbe: Lagos-Ibadan expressway is the busiest in this country. That road deserves to be AT LEAST TEN LANES, FIVE ON EACH SIDE.Dude, 3 lane each side is enough, the problem with Nigeria is roads and highway management, and most importantly are lack of bypass roads to ease congestion, the driver who don't obey traffic regulations are worst, most advanced countries I have been to don't have so much lanes but put excellent road management regimes in place e.g digital info and speed limit boards, speedy removal of accidents or broken down vehicle, efficient traffic laws and good streaming of traffic. Every traffic boards and marking are law itself. Even if the road is made 10 lane each side, it will still be congested and hectic in absence of strict traffic law adherence, period. |

Uyi Iredia: LIARHe is correct idiaat, the statistics is on BBC too. |
Dr Muzungu: Even in well developed Europe, potable water is not free. But, it is cheap and available to everyone. For instance, 1000 litres (one cubic meter) costs me just over 100 naira (equivalent) back at home.Depends where u are in europe, some places are costlier. |
bamosagie: I miss OsazeOsaze was on BBC sport as analyst for the match, and he spoke in support of the team, one thing I noticed he always use 'we' when making reference to Nigeria. |
Lakayanah: The governors were simply trying to make the wedded ceremony ungovernable for the "CHAIRMAN"Best answer lol ![]() |
There is no need to bash GEJ, atleast he has accepted that the Nigerian police and other security organs are in abysmal state and most of the staffs and heads are incompetent, this is New in Nigeria, where the president/government are known for defending the abysmal state of security agency and its staff incompetence. For him to publicly accept the short comings and putting effort to correct it should be commended, the reverse was the case with other governments. It's unfortunate that GEJ style and approach to governance is new and only suitable for advanced minds, the military and gra gra ways of approaches to issues have eroded our willingness to rediscover ourselves. ![]() |
ahamdiheme: The point is that he has singled out the black race to be a list of horrible things. He would have said this about Asians and it would be as bad. That he said negro or black people is just so close to home otherwise I would not even post it here on NLErdogan has been spilling irritating statements that works on everyones nerves far and wide since the protest started, but on a general note Turkish are very nice, friendly and accommodating people, I go to Turkey yearly on holiday and they have tremendous respect for Nigerians, I have visited remote places and all I get is welcome and respect from the indigenes, and being a Nigerian Blackman/woman they want to take pictures and make friend with u and are always friendly, so from experience I take it that Erdogan has become confused in his own deluded world of trying to equate himself to the great Ataturk. An average turkish seperate politics and social norms from religion as laid down long ago by Ataturk but Erdogan is trying to force his citizens the other way by banning sales of beer near mosques and kissing in the public, hoping he wouldn't get resistance. ![]() |
mikelreal: it is not working jor ahan. u pple shud stop postin fake links. non of ur links works! smhThat is where I am watching it now, it's viewable on pc and phone. |
@Op are u that timid to see that pic was taken aboard an airplane?, did MKO died on on a plane? |
What I don't understand is the rational behind the higher pass mark for 3 eastern states?. I think this exposure that we can easily access is good, the new age of social media has been exposing the inequalities in Nigeria's policies, sparking serious debate that could force a change. |
