If Amodu drew with Madagascar or Botswana, would you think he should be sacked or not? Or would you say "I dont know but he is doing a good job"?
Look I saw CIV game against Germany on Wednesday, they played well, everyone knew their duty and you could see their coach on the touchline giving orders, he was inspiring confidence and the players respected him, I am yet to see a game we played that we didnt look all over the place, no formation, no pattern, everyone wants to show their skills mostly in dangerous areas, some players dont want to pass the ball to some peoplehuh and Amodu was there sitting down thinking about how much he going to charge the players who wants to play in the next game, with Amoekachie given instruction on the touchline,

The reason Roman Abramovich sacked Avram Grant is because he knew that Mr Grant is using Mourinho's tactics and when it calls for a tactical decision he goes missing the same applies amodu

Spot on, we all know that this guy is about to reach his peak at 28 years he would give us energy and power, something the like of Yakubu and Co. can never give us playing big man's football, Kalou was about to play for Holland only for his nationalisation didnt come through, guess what 2 years later he was playing for Ivory Coast, Its only Nigeria or Nigerians who acting "Shaki trying to be like meat" we are not BRAZIL, if a player plays in the Indian league he should be given his chance,

We do not want to be the whipping boys of the competition

When Your Gal Compare U With Her Ex.
I WOULD SURELY DO THE SAME WHEN IT WOULD SUITE ME AND BURN HER!!!

I once dated this girl when I was only 22 years, I guess my girlfriends ex was one of those older guys but he was married but you could easily tell that this girl could see the difference in maturity in both of us, but she didnt need to rub it on my nose, but the day I got my own back my ex arrived from Nigeria and we both bumped into her at a wedding she jumped on me and was about to kissing when she noticed that I was with someone else, she was stunning and my girlfriend looked with envy,

Within 24 hrs of seeing my ex I started saying things that she used to say and it was hitting home, that somethings she would go and sit down in the toilet and start to cry,

but all in all she realised that I was doing it delibrately to hurt her feelings,  Then she knew how I was feeling

Just because you are fond of Ameobi
Am not fond of him but I dont see what the rest bring to the party,  can you imagine Naija gets paired with South Korea or one of those countries that are extremely fit, that could run for 90+ minutes! thats when you would realize how lazy our players are,

Any player that turned his back to his Fatherland during qulifiers shud be left out completely, Osaze is qualified to play for Moscow where he was born, he chose to play for Nigeria, they should be left out completely. They shud not eat where did not bestow labour. If we qualified without them, we can move ahead without them.
This is the first time I see NL promoting JUSTICE in Supereagles. Amodu shud go to 2010 WC for Justice's sake. Let him eat the fruits of his labour.OVER.
Do you honestly believe that the Russian would allow a coloured player play for themhuh? Look at Zenith St Petersburg!!! they have black players but they are not used when they play at home

I no know if na the same football me and you dey watch.

Please do not use pace and Ameobi in the same sentence.
They just do not work well.
Amoebi would make Yakubu look like he is walking, and Martins who runs and leave the football behind Only Ozaze has a voice to boast off, this is the main reason why I am praying that "coco the clown gets the bullet" a foreign coach would mean everyone has an equal chance
Sports › Re: Amodu : Can He Lead Supereagles To 2010 W/cup? by omar22(m): 1:02pm On Nov 20, 2009
Jaybee, thanks for this good record.
Do you know that this feat was possible cos' Bauckenbuer had made a team available for him to use.
Remember, he was Bauckenbuer's assistant for years.
I give it to him for the result,
But can a pass in Waec Exam be assumed to be a First Class in the University?

One Cup is not enough to declare a Coach as good.

Only consistency can makes a coach Good or Excellent.

The same way Bauckenbuer's preparation made it for Berti Vogts
So is Westerhoff's preparation gave Bonfre the break.

However, to prove that they are good coach, give me two more trophies they have to their name.
Keiser left in 1990

Berti Voght won Euro 96

Only Thomas Haesller and Klinsmann (if am correct) survived the 1990 squad and remember that he had to add the former East German players to the squad like Sammers

Monkey de work, baboon de chop! He can never reap where he did not sow

When we were struggling to play previous qualifiers or struggling to even qualify even in 2006, how many of these Naija Oyinbo players remembered that Nigeria was existing talkless of playing for Nigeria. I remember quite well the British Media will trump up their footballing prowress as the next John Barnes fit to play for England and when their careers begin to take a dip in form and slide continously and there is no hope for them to even make their first 11 for their respective teams , they will now remember that their Great Grand Father has Nigerian parentage in their Blood so that they can use the Super Eagles to revive their ailing Careers by Playing in the World Cup so that they can enjoy their own 15 minutes of Fame playing in the world cup but not dying for Nigeria on the field of play like Osaze will do any time any day.
He was never considered for England in 2006, he only played for the Under 21 because he wasnt invited by the NFA, Olisadebe wrote to the NFA so many times but he was ignored, but Poland who were desperate for a striker and they Qualified for the first time since 1986,  after a long season you want to rely on player who wont put their heart in it, look at how Shittu fights for every ball compare that to Yobo who looks like he is thinking about when his next wages goes into his account. Chalton Cole issue waited till he was good but I feel sorry for him and Gabby because when the time comes they would be pushed aside

How many can claim to have scored a hatrick against the mighty barca?
Another against Leverkusen, his carrier was distorted because Newcastle wanted to mould him into the next Shearer,
Sports › Re: Suddenly : Shola Ameobi Want To Play For Nigeria ! by omar22(m): 12:39pm On Nov 20, 2009
Lets put it this way,

Yakubu almost 40
Kanu almost huh well he looks like he was present during the last supper
Uche, God knows
Martins looks he has seen the last 3 eclipse of the sun and the 2nd one was in the 80's

But Amoebi is 28 years pace , heading, holds the ball, and UNSELFISH, remember that we got knocked out by Ghana at the last nations cup by Junior Agogo who is not fit to lace Amoebi's boot

You people simply wont let the facts get in the way of your lame arguments. You want to expose players like Stanley Okoro and Ramon Azeez during World Cup qualifiers?
Stanley WHO?

That should never see a Jersey again unless if play for the Nigerian defence academy's football team,
Sports › Re: Amodu : Can He Lead Supereagles To 2010 W/cup? by omar22(m): 7:49pm On Nov 18, 2009
It seems that you equate just skills on the ball to talent. Greece did not have the ball skills of Brazil but they had organisation and coordination which still translates to talent. If Greece won the competition with their goal keeper under constant bombardment and the goal posts being hit considerably without the ball crossing the line, then we can say they were lucky but we know that was not the case because they had organisation at the back and counter-attacked with precision.
Greece were disciplince, their concentration level was bang on and they had a very good coach in Otto Rehalger who the German FA still regret not given him the top job, he was tactically sound,  Amodu would be in the job only because some officials want to embezzle funds,
Sports › Re: Amodu : Can He Lead Supereagles To 2010 W/cup? by omar22(m): 4:46pm On Nov 18, 2009
One thing that cannot be gainsaid is that Coach Amodu has delivered more laurels to Nigeria than any Coach.
1. 2002 and 2010 w/cup ticket.
2. 2006 world beach soccer ticket
3. The youngest coach (29yrs)to win Mandela Cup for BCC in 1990 and got to the final the following  year with the same team.
We may label him incompetent , but he has won the w/cup tickects for  us twice, but my fear for the man, he may be replaced by an Oyinbo Coach.
Excuse me,  he struggled on both occassions, was it not the 2002 we had to bribe Ghana to "look the other way" and then we had a stronger team,  at the end he relied on the ability of the players

but when it got to the nitty gritty he failed woefully, Senegal for that matter he looked clueless

Now if he takes the Eagles to Angola (NATIONS CUP) with all eyes watching (with the world cup group s already done) if he fails, he gets the sack then we have 3 months to prepared and we dont want another Onigbinde debacle again,

Samson Siasia is the best man for the job. He has the experience, pedigree and comand respect in the game of football. His credentials best fits the coach taking us to the world cup! No Future Ambition (NFA), rule out the possibility of a foreign coach pls.
Some players wont respect him
