QUESTION: Re: When Is A Woman Ready For Marriage ANSWER: When they have done a future analysis on your wealth and your potential future earnings |
One luv Peckham "bro & Sis" Am still waiting for the bobo/babe from V.I. to name something he would find in V.I. that wont be in Peckham |
I think Omar22 is seeing my id but reading Sefago's posts. Omar, u need to go to specsavers mateAlready used the 2 vouchers but nice designer frames!!! LOL only want to be sure because I spent some time in Peckham when I was young, practically my first room was on the Old Kent road before we got a council flat, Those where the days party here and there "This is how we do it" |
Cant compare that dump with V.I. Why do Nigerians like been negative? Are you calling Peckham a dump? Name 20 things you wont find in Peckham, that you would find in V.I. |
Really, u must be misunderstanding my comments. Read them again, I be correct Peckham babe o now living in Aberdeen ScotlandWell I spent 5 years living off Peckham Park Road and St Georges way, so do you prefer it in Aberdeen? |
@naijababe, You make it sound as if Peckham is a run down area that needs a Scud missile to wipe it clean, If you dont mind where do you live? |
no, i was referring to a thought experiment in which everyone left peckham- obviously the houses would be uninhabited and therefore free (property of the government) , giving a real estate company the chance to acquire it at a cheaper rate from the government as a result. The thought of everyone vacating Peckham! ha!!! it would be a gold mine for the Government, knowing that its a stone throw from Victoria, Blackfriars or London Bridge, it would almost match Canary Wharf |
invite companies to invest in this cheap area or sell it to the British class looking for an under-crowded location, b4 you know it, it would be a thriving city. But yes, i think the market clip was biased- but the video was propaganda anyways and not meant to shown anything good about peckham.Did you call Peckham a cheap area? do you know what your talking about? are you talking about when the old North Peckham Estate was available, now its being demolished, Houses in Peckham are more expensive than houses in Greenwich, Charlton, Woolwich, Lewisham, Bromley etc calling Peckham a cheap area is an over statement, |
I dont know why the hatred about Peckham, is it becaue its filled with Nigerians or West Indians? people talk as if the same as Mushin Olosho or the Old Oshodi market, People need to half a look at Southall where its 99% Bangladesh, Paki, Sri Lankan or Indian, am not bragging here but that place would make Peckham look like Dubai, its dirty, it stinks, too crowdy, Now when you are looking for a dirty residential area then think or Leeds Yorkshire or Liverpool where majority of the citizens there are on Benefits, |
The truth is Nigerians in Peckham do live like lower life forms in Peckham and south London, in fact half of them don't officially exist in London society because they're illegal. People back in the village where they have the most basic of things look 30x better than those in Peckham.SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE SECTIONED, |
Some History Lesson Post-war period 1948 Britain's first group of post-war Caribbean immigrants come to London on the SS Empire Windrush. Many of the 492 passengers settle in Brixton now a prominent black district. 1950s to 1960s Mass migration of workers from all over the English-speaking Caribbean, particularly Jamaica. They are "invited" to fill labour requirements in hospitals, transport and railways and contribute to rebuilding the post-war urban economy. 1962 Commonwealth Immigrants Act and a succession of laws in 1968, 1971, and 1981 severely restrict Black entry to Britain, and brings this period to an end. Emergent Black and Asian struggle against race prejudice and intolerance. 1975 David Pitt brings a new popular voice to the House of Lords. 1987 Black population, workers, and community activists aid election of four Black Members of Parliament. 1991-97 Black Londoners numbered half a million people in the 1991 census, of which an increasing proportion were London- or British-born. Despite modest socio-economic gains, discrimination remained a problem, even where skill deficiencies were being overcome. Black Parliamentarians increase to six in 1992 and nine in 1997 elections. "High-tech"and information revolution and a changing urban economy drive unemployment rates higher among Blacks and threatens to erode Black progress. |
That's not true at all. There were no restrictions where Blacks lived and there is no record of white people leaving their homes because a black person moved into a street. Stop spreading fallacies! In the 40s many Black people settled all over London and other cities like Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester. One of the most popular areas that Blacks settled in in London was West London, Notting Hill Gate which is how Europe's biggest street festival, the Notting Hill Carnival came to be based there.I didnt say they restricted them in south but systematically all blacks lived in the south of the river, and that doesnt mean whites dont live in the South but theirs a strong chance of them moving out as soon as possible, my ex girlfriends grand father (West Indies) mentioned that this to me and its no coincidence that in the 70 and 80s most or majority of the Afro caribbeans were living south of the river, the Nottinghill Carnival was created for the West Indies who came over in the 50s because they were feeling home sick. |
if someone is going to play big boy they need to understand that not all off us will keep quiet about it - or is it the one that told me her fathers house is on oxford street!!!!!!!!! so i shouldn't point out that this is highly unlikely. Are you saying that Nigerians dont have a house on Oxford street? |
What surburb lo paruwo gan sef ti o ni je ka simitell am Jare, people who live in face me I face you for Idumota now dey at as if they no dey shit |
peckham is a gettho - over and out.Have your ever heard of Chuck hill estate in stonebridge, If your looking for a real ghetto then theirs one |
So are you saying Asians run the shops there and not Africans? I remember reading an article that said Africans and Caribbeans were the most entrepreneurial in Britain, and I was under the impression that the majority of shops in Peckham were African or Caribbean owned. What is the situation there? All butchers, fish mongers, grocery stores etc which are essential to everyone are 99% Asian. Africans started owning their own shops in London at the begining of the 90's the Caribbeans started earlier may be 10 years earlier but the Asians hit the ground running thats why they have their own entities all over UK. But in peckham its all nations even the latino have their own shops, |
dats not true.EXACTLY, Knowing that Nigerians use the famous Brixton Recreation Center for all night party EVERY WEEK |
" but one thing i know is that Peckham is the place, you have indians shop owners who could speak yoruba"Theirs this Indian lady at the end of Rye lane that sells vegetables, onces she sees you she would say that you are from Ijebu Ijesha, The meat sellers would call Shaki, Edo, pomo etc, if you ask egusi, gari, elubo, fufu, ogbono etc they would go and bring it, |
@Blackspade in the 40's and 50's when British government invited the West Indies over to come and work due to lack of man power they made sure that every black person lived in south london, everywhere provided but it wont be at the same standard as those who live across the river but by the 60 and 70's the Africans joined the party, then if a black person move into a road, white people would start to move out one by one and since the Blacks and Asians like to live closely to their own people south london became a congregation of Afro Carribbean people, the Asian started moving West London but by the end of the 80 black people started changing location, thet started moving into what it was supposed to be a racist area and though it out with the whites, by the end of the 90s blacks started moving out of London into Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex etc in large numbers but one thing i know is that Peckham is the place, you have indians shop owners who could speak yoruba, Liverpool street is all about Nigerian cloths, |
so what are you comparing? most of everyone condemning Peckam, Old Kent among you Nigerians on here, would call for party if got UK visa. You know when Mr Solek is playing or Sonny Melody, please I call una for party in Peckham come chop and drink till un die |
Has any one bought a house in Peckham recently?Peckham is one of the most expensive part of south london to buy a property because its central and its easy to get transport to anywhere |
Count the amount of white or black people you see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvAg8PT5DwA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7oPibJ74vY You dont want to live anywhere near Southall, Peckham make Southall look like Mushin Olosha |
