I watch 1 Nollywood movie a day, after a long stint at work.
I deliberately changed from SKY to Virgin Media, because of Nollywood since it started to interfer with my football
TV/Movies › Re: How can We As Nigerians make Nollywood better by omar22(m): 11:54am On Nov 23, 2009
The main problem here is that, they seem to recycle themselves, nothing new, its like reading the “Mills and Boon” novels, within a period of 12 months I went through almost 80 to 100 books all ended the same way, the usual suspects dies! The same about Nollywood as an industry, no one is prepared to push the boat out, push the boundaries, new ideas. It’s bad enough them churning out hundreds and hundreds of home movies every year, what “we” the viewers are waiting for is a BLOCKBUSTER from Nollywood. The actors and actresses act the same way, speak the same way, look the same way, I can’t remember her name, actually I don’t now know her name! but she acted in 2 different movies, one as a rich mans daughter, the other as a poor mans wife! The 2 roles require 2 different characters but hey as expected she spoke the same way, with the same attitude for both roles…. And people would say we shouldn’t criticise them! Nollywood is an industry that refuses to grow in quality, why? Typical Nigerian thinking “enough is good enough”

Look at TSOTSI won an Oscar award, grossed nearly $10m, this a South African movie, well thought of the script was well written and professionally shot, it’s a movie that had everything and was I proud that it won the best foreign language film at the Oscars… Wesley Snipes and other Hollywood stars realised that theirs an untapped gold mine within Nollywood or filming in Nigeria but it seems like that boat has sailed, agree there are loads of movies to be shot in Africa but using actors / actresses from Nollywood or Gollywood seems to be a distance memory unless if they have shown in the past that they could handle such role, but looking most Nollywood stars CV, though its long but not impressive. You imagine someone asks a Nollywood actor to act in a movie and his role is to act as a Jamaican, this means you would have to enter the world of a Jamaican behave like one and speak like one? No Chance…

However, since the book is authored by an American, I'll say let honor be given to whom honor is due. If Americans like our Nollywood movies and actresses,
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,

Tell me, if the book was authored by an Iraqi or a Mongolian would you still publish it on NL? its good Oprah is pulling the plug on her show because, since the last time she mentioned Genevieve her back-side or bum should be sore now from the kissing from a certain set of Nigerians

those so called "n0lLYw0od" actors are not actors are not versatile enough!
I mention this before i got shut down by so many people ,  Nollywood would not improve if they are not willing to listen to criticism

THEY HAVE EVEN DONE BETTER THAN DROGBA'S CIV! They are not drawing with Madagascar and Botswana.
do you know how you sound? CIV qualified through their own strenght, Nigeria sneaked through the back door through the help of Mozambique, theirs a big difference,

We only got through to the WC finals by the stroke of luck. . . . .not Amodu's football know-how.

And England would have won the WC in 1986 if not for the "Hand of God".
Now I know you dont know what your talking about, did you see the match,  England had no chance, Maradona was ripping them to shreds Peter Reid, Hoddle, Butcher were all kicking the living daylight out of the player, Thanks to Shilton they would have been 4 nil down by half time, Only as a desperate measure John Barnes was sent on in the last 10 minutes whose energy and dribbling skills started to create chances for Gary Linekar who scored one and missed a sitter,

England win what, struggled against Morocco ended with 8 or 9 men and lost Portugal

Dont ever say that again

And when Man U concedes late against Arsenal and Ferguson is sitting down, is he a Magah?
Tell me any game that you have seen that when United scores Fergie is not up despite the fact that were he sits is way away from the ground?

Hiddink: You mean you want the person that could not use Russia to beat Slovenia to come and reap where another has sown.

Mourinho: That can not use Inter to beat Kudin whatever and Dynamo Kiev? So you want him to leave Inter. Go and get him now.

Trappatoni: Another failure in qualification?
But Phillipe Troussier flopped with Nigeria but got Japan to the quarter final,
Alex Ferguson has lost to Burley this season does that mean he is not good enough to manage Nigeria

Trappatoni has won a league title in 5 countries also with inter milan, AC Milan and juve

Mourinho (My main man) nigeria cant afford him,

No matter how much you try to defend Amodu, the best thing for Nigeria is to let him go,

What luck?

Some of you guys make me laugh. Grin Grin Grin Grin If person no watch match that is when you can be postulating this kin thing.

Here is highlight of the match (not ver clear). It would "mistakenly" suggest we had better chances of scoring and they only had 3 shots on goal.

But we had no pattern naw! And also take not of the motion at 2.51 minutes. You know Amodu is a fool that is always sitting down? At this minute (2.51) you will see Capello directing and inspiring the boys. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
I believe Mozambique scored a goal (2 actually) that was unfairly ruled out

What did Angelina Jolie did in Mr and Mrs Smith that Genievie could not do in 30Days? I believe they are different roles and settings but same great acting so do not give us that hoodwinked HollyWood fantasy jsut because they (HollyWood) has resources and Nigeria does not.

not once but twice has he qualified us for the world cup, why didn't we bring the coach before the qualifiers?

The coach can only do so much on the sidelines , it is left for the players to stick to instructions.
The reason why every coach gets up after their team scores because they are vulnerable to an equalizer he quickly gives instruction to regroup the team, with Nigeria we score,  most especially when we have sent on so many attacking players because we where looking for a goal, but Amodu did nothing whereas we had to defend, agree some players dont stick to instructions, so what do you do? (not looking like a cow that just saw the knife) things change during a game you need to be able to change the game or respond to when your opposition manager drops a new tactics on your team, but no no no no Amodu is there looking like DUNDEE UNITED,

J-Lo was a whack singer and actress. I didn't like her dance moves that much except a couple of steps. But we talked about her big ass.

Gene is a phenomenon.
Am not saying she was the best but within a spell of 5 years from the P-Diddy era to to the Ben Affleck (1998 - 2003)era, JLO was raking in $$$$ on everything she touched Music, movie to Cosmetic, she was the most talked about entertainer then, she charges £1m to sing on shows, the Hilton Hotel at Marble Arch in London she hires the last 3 floors, Atleast she has the talent,

So what did he do against Tunisia when we needed to score a second goal?

What did he do against Mozambique when we scored a goal in the dying minutes?

What did he do against Kenya when they went one goal up?

Laughable.
Wow he threw on another players to go for it, Knowing that Niger conceeded 2 goals after we scored against Tunisia and another 2 against Kenya when we are chasing the game shows his tactical nounce,

When a team scores they are more vulnerable to conceed immediately but what did Coco the clown do? he sat down looking like MAGAH!!! Nigeria scored with less than 5 minutes to go against Tunisia, its not rocket science to know that Tunisia would go for it because they have nothing to loose, Amodu could have kept it tight for the remainder of the game, but what happened

I guess you did not see the game against France then?
The French dont have a team to write home about, they had to cheat to get pass Ireland

In Mozambique we were lucky to leave with one point

Against Kenya at Abuja, if Kenya had half a striker we would have been 2 goals down before we scored one,

In Tunis we were all over the place, we had chances but could take them

against Tunisia at Abuja, we all know the story

Mozambique in Abuja PURE LUCK in the 92nd minute when most of the team has given up

in Kenyan we looked like Pub team, Even my school team would never look that bad, we couldnt defend the ball coming in from the right, (where was Shittu)

nd I bet you, if Nigeria plays Germany in a friendly and win. Some people will still talk about no pattern, Amodu is a fool sitting on the bench, it was player power, we need a foreign coach (we are not saying he should be white but he should be from a proven coach from Europe or Brazil/Argentina where there are no black coaches).
Am not saying we should go for a white coach, if Siasia or Keshi is not the answer then am sorry its foreign it could be an African but not Amodu
Romance › Re: I Would Like To Know Why White Ladies Love Black Men! by omar22(m): 4:38pm On Nov 20, 2009
I live in germany and have asked over 50 white ladies the very question.
First and foremost, the illusions and myths about the size are balderdash: the biggest equipment I ever saw was owned by a white guy.

My findings are;
1. Black guys have time.
2. Black guys have something to prove
3. White guys are choosy
4. Many white ladies have no choice
5. Many white ladies want to payback their ex or dad by choosing what might score pts. (Heidi klum, Mrs effenberg etc)
6. White men are dominant and arrogant
7. Blackmen need legalized documents.
8. Most black men don't say no.
9. The hiphop culture sells the black man.
10. The blackmen don't need any or long pre-intimacy.
I live in London and I have dated a few (not date but had a great time)
I do agree about the myth about how a Blackman is well endowed or equipped down below but my findings are

1. Black guys (Mostly Nigerians) are fun to be around
2. Most white girls would like to @#£$ a Blackman at least once.
3. a Blackman sees a white lady easy to capture in a public place
4. They are some white ladies (Greeks, Turkish or the eastern blocks) that have the shape of a black lady.
5. They are more likely to be loyal to you during difficulty than a black girl
6. they are better in bed than the Nubian girls
