The Representative from Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Namibia, Guinea Bissau, Ghana, Eq. Guinea, Angola and Kenya (I want to add Nigeria to the list) The all look like they escaped from ZOO |
With the criteria people are looking at then Victor Moses has a better chance of winning the title than Mikel because he was the player of the tournament, he scored goals he was one of Chelsea's best player in the Europa league. but in General from January to date it has to be Yaya Toure |
Yaya Toure is head and shoulders better than Mikel... Remember Toure carries his team, Mikel is just a passenger in the team |
They should the door behind them when they leave! |
WildChild00: Gentleman, nobody is disputing the fact the Lagos State Government is not working, absolutely they're working, wat really prompted this issue is the large amount that has been borrowed by the Fashola's administration, which has been used to facilaitate social development across the state, BUT some place where highly constraighted on, like I rightly made measured off, in my initial post, I meant to say Lasu Iba road, I live in Navy town and I drive pass that road on a daily basics, others are Egan, near Igando, Alimosho local government area, Ajao Estate road off MM international air port road, Berger, Iyana-Ipaja, Egbada and Ikotun, or are these people frm this region not tax payers as well as their counter-parts in Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Surulere etcLook I understand your point but in a perfect world it doesnt go like that. Look East London was a dump until they threw the Olympic money at it now its a new city, someone hands you £600m in loan for new infrastructure , you have to look at the best way to generate a return on the investment |
lanre_front: what the are you talking about? Any state on Nigeria can be crippled with a debt of over 600 million dollars. But the real question is this: what the Lagos state did with that huge amount of money? We are talking about N97 760 000 000. I don't think it's commensurate with the amount of development in the state.REALLY? |
mr-cali:I saw a similar story with the name Dana on it not Arik |
Well the only way to get a country's economy going is to encourage people to spend spend and spend. Its not like they are importing everything for the party from abroad. |
elektra80: Audi Q7 6.0 v12 TDI started production in 2008. That is a mammoth engine u got there and incredibly fast. But then a Range ROver sport 5.0 v8 engine that runs on petrol does 0-60 in 5.8 secs. Diesel cars are becoming faster with newer models with bigger engines. But then how many average Nigerians can afford that?Yes I know the R10's 5.5 litre V12 TDI that won the Le Man race is powered by a diesel engine is not any ordinary street car, but the reason for Audi to run the diesel engine in Le Man instead of the normal petrol engine car: Audi's decision to use a diesel engine emphasizes the commercial success of Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) turbodiesel engine (and its competitors) on Europe's roads. Diesels have been successfully used in other forms of racing as well, as their broad power band and fuel economy can prove advantageous, while in turn, the higher weight and lower rotational speed of the engine requiring new power transmissions are the disadvantages This wasnt in 2008 but in 2004 |

omusiliyu: Hmmm! So sad that Prof Chinua Achebe is late, she need to apologize to Prof Wole Soyinka to prepare her speech for her.I will like to be a fly on the wall of the room when that conversation takes place!!! |
Jayeris: "He is not an African person, he is a white dude, he should go back to Belgium.”I could imagine if they had said the same to Keshi in Belgium, I wonder how he would feel? when someone tells him "Go back to Africa" |
moodswing: You are a liberated mind.Dumbo Putin addresses in Russian because Russian is Russia's first Language (I hope thats not too much for you to understand) Whats Nigeria's first or official language? |
PetDancer: For those of you saying she will disgrace nigeria, don't be surprise ,when she will deliver the speech without any mistakeThe chance of that happening is very slim Slim is on the plane heading towards Kumasi Airport not the UN headquarters |
A good samaritan has just shipped a container load of Helmets just in case ?

A good concept of an informed few in a critical mass, can be hijacked by an ill informed many, flipping common sense on its head. The acoustic shadow and emotional mirage, may distort the obvious scribblings on tthe wall. - Stand up and fight for the emancipation of the oppressed peoples of an endangered nation. |
More like bribing the FG with 30 Innoson Buses to ban foreign Import. |
ichidodo: It is yoruba airport leave Nigeria out of it.Dumbo was the airport built by Lagos State Government or FG? What was the purpose of building MMA? |
Naijamericana: Instead of focusing on improving electrical supply they want to manufacture cars. Even American models face steep competition from German and Japanese cars.Spot on misplaced priority |
okpara ugo: You are a never-do-well. Jonathan is better than OBJ, Abacha and IBB.And them the Alarm bell rang? People tend not to realise that China bought some failing Car Industries around the world just to fast track themselves into a Car making industry, the same with India! BMW had to buy Rover Group PLC just to be able develop the 4x4 and front-wheel drive cars! You cant just up and develop your own car and expect people to put their hard earn cash towards what they dont know how good the car will be. Just like PAN (Peugeot Automobile of Nigeria) were bribing the FG to ban Tokunbo cars, I guess something similar is happening here again |
GEJ is working More like riding his Shippo to Timbuktu |
Felipe Massa has ensured that he will receive a warm farewell from his current Ferrari team-mate, after rating him higher than seven-time world champion – and former partner at the Scuderia – Michael Schumacher. The Brazilian will see his partnership with Fernando Alonso end after this year's season finale at Interlagos, but three-and-a-half years alongside the Spaniard has been enough for Massa to suggest that the two-time world champion is 'more perfect' than the man he shared the Scuderia's garage with in 2006. Schumacher was already a seven-time champion by the time that Massa was installed at Maranello, and would retire at the end of their first year together, but the Brazilian – who was also team-mate to Kimi Raikkonen when the Finn took the 2007 title for Ferrari – reckons that Alonso may be the 'most complete' driver that he has seen in the top flight. "I've always had very strong team-mates,” he told Sky Sports' Martin Brundle, “I always learnt that you need to be perfect because, if you're not perfect, they will be in front of you.” Although he challenged for the 2008 world title – and thought he had won it for ten seconds before it emerged that Lewis Hamilton had snatched the fifth place he needed for the crown on the very last corner – Massa has generally been seen as Ferrari's 'second' driver, and his partnership with Alonso has been punctuated by several incidents of team orders. As well as the now infamous 'Fernando is faster than you' moment that denied him an emotional victory on the anniversary of the 2009 Hungaroring accident that nearly claimed his life, Massa notably took a grid penalty after out-qualifying the Spaniard in last year's USGP and has seldom made it difficult for the two-time champion to pass him in track if it was advantageous to his championship position. "For sure, I've had some tough times as well with strong team-mates [and] the one I was suffering more [against] was Alonso,” he admitted, “I think maybe he's more complete. "Schumacher was very, very good. He was amazing and a very complete driver as well. But I think maybe Alonso is even more perfect." Ironically, with seven races remaining in his Ferrari career, Massa has the same number of wins for the Scuderia as Alonso does, but once again trails the Spaniard by some way in the title race. After Brazil, he will make way for Raikkonen, who returns to the Prancing Horse after impressing for Lotus in the two years since his return from a sabbatical in the World Rally Championship. The Finn partnered Massa at Maranello between 2007-09, before making way for Alonso. Despite earlier suggestions that he could not bear to drop down the grid after eight years with Ferrari, Massa now appears more willing to consider a midfield seat if it keeps him in the top flight. The best option currently open to the Brazilian would be a direct swap with Raikkonen, but the second seat at Lotus is expected to be hotly contested, with erstwhile Ferrari candidate Nico Hulkenberg also thought to be in the running. "I want more,” Massa insisted, “I want to win more races; I want to make more pole positions. When you're not happy, you need to try and carry on and try to do more, so I'm not happy.” |
ballabriggs: You renovate a stadium which is meant to be routine and we should start jumping? What do you expect from these a$$-kissing looney's I guess election is coming they are now trying to get some people's juices flowing "Give them little and they will shut up" Something white people use to do to black people, now black people are now doing it to black people. A stadium they should either sell off or demolish and rebuild a new, Knowing that another stadium is across the road. |
That car does not cost £100k Not even close |
These are the looney decision some of our authorities make! another flight would have prevented that lady getting onboard due to situations that just happened. Arik will definitely be paying a hefty fine for allowing her unboard. |
Poster: Look if you had omitted Genevieve's name from the list, posters or people would have taken this topic very serious, but naming Genevieve means you are flirting with a different set of angry people from the Genevieve fan club. |
3ace: Keshi's comments were not racist. I see this coach as an immature coach who is not tolerant with civility or just using Keshi's remarks to distract him and his team from the impending defeat that awaited him in Calabar. I'm not exonerating Keshi for calling a fellow coach crazy but he could have just demanded that Keshi apologised for disrespecting him or report the case to FIFA like he has done for "disrespectfulness"and not racism. The use of the word racism is harsh, unfair and wicked. He's just making a mountain of out of a molehill. What could be more belittling, degrading, embarrassing and despicable than them throwing bananas at us calling us animals. I hope the person in charge of the case is sensible enough to treat this matter with wisdom and not allowing sentiments to override his sense of judgement. So when Keshi was playing in Belgium and he was told by one of his colleagues that "Black man go back to your country" how would he feel? |
Getting those players to pay egunje will be like squeezing blood out of a stone |
Nuzo':Thank you my brother!!!! |
Which part of my comment did you miss? Point to FIFA in my comment... Next time follow the process Eyes => Brain => Mouth |
If The head coach for the English national team had said the same to a black coach he will be SACKED ON THE SPOT Keshi should have engaged his brain before he opened his mouth. Can you imagine someone who had a chunk of career in Belgium been told to go back to Africa by his colleagues at Andelect how would he feel! |
