Politics › PDP Bigwigs And Their Current/immediate Past Pitiable Conditions. by omenka(op):
Afternoon all.

I believe this thread is necessary given the recent events in our polity especially as regards the anti-graft crusade.

I found it very hilarious and at the same time offensive when pictures of the former NIMASSA DG surfaced on the web with him walking with a crotch to the courthouse.

It is obvious that pretending to be sick (even though some might genuinely be), thereby appealing our emotions/public sympathy, have become a tool of choice for PDP bigwigs to escape prosecution. Some of them did this backing them up with pictures while others simply made "emotional" statements in this regard.

Once a hint is given that EFCC is on their trail, the internet immediately becomes flooded with images of them either undergoing operation or having one medical condition or another.

Here is a compilation of those we've seen so far and I believe a lot more is yet to come when the dragnet spreads further into some uncharted territories.

Enjoy.

These guys are just making a fool of themselves.

Since Baba was sworn in:

Nemadi Sambo underwent a knee surgery.

Alison Maduake has been undergoing chemotherapy.

Former Amnesty boss had a hamstring and even broke a leg.

Obanikoro has been taking GST classes in a university in the US and can't miss a lecture for the whole world.

Former PDP leader appeared in court a cripple.

Ananih has been in the operating room for surgeries we know nothing about.

Former Nimasa boss appears in court half crippled.

I wonder what pictures we'd be seeing next.

Smh.

I suspect Metuh has told him he's not getting "chekum" for the aproko work he's doing, hence his withdrawal.

The joker should go look for someone else to swindle. All Metuh has belongs to the FGN.

Princess Uduah would soon develop a knee condition that requires medical attention abroad.

Watch out.

Omenka what do you think?
I don't know if EFCC has the manpower and other resources to pursue these major cases simultaneously. My hope is that they don't end up having their effectiveness compromised taking on too may big fished at the same time.

Nevertheless, these are cases with profound merit, and most of us keen observers knew it was just a matter of time before their dossiers, which have been gathering nothing but dust in some shelf, are dusted and re-opened.

The outcome of this would, just like the others soon to come, would have far reaching consequences on how we conduct business with foreign investors and the boundaries to which our public office holders could exert their influence to fleece the nation especially knowing the consequences of their indiscretion.

Now I see the reason why Baba allocated huge amount of money to the various anti-graft agencies in the 2016 appropriation bill- they really have their work cut out for them indeed.

Obama? Has he now become the President of the International Court of Justice, or has America become our new colonial masters?
The petition is as misdirected & attention-seeking as it is frivolous. For example, what is derogatorary about the name 'Biafra', a name even the bearers prefer to be called?
Anytime I need a good laugh I just read stuffs relating to Biafra.

Father Mbaka: Some agents of darkness plan to assassinate Buhari.

Reverend Mathew Kuka: Buhari is a failure. The country is more divided than ever.

DIKEnaWAR:
Sorry I mentioned you. I only thought you were seeking a genuine answer to a question.

He didn't ask them not to try for corruption. He asked that they should stop trying for offences that carry the capital punishment I.e armed robbery and murder .

He also asked them to stop giving remand orders cos the law stipulates that an Accused should be tried within 24hrs or 48hrs if there is no court within a 20km radius of where the suspect is detained. He is the Chief Judge of the FCT and will not sit down while his subordinates flout the law they swore to protect.

On a final. Note, don't let your support of a government turn you to a fo.ol. I support PMB in his corruption war but it must be within the armbit of the law.
Let me also use this opportunity to say this. I understand that EFCC has been bringing some cases to you and you have been granting them remand orders. You must no longer do this from today.
That is the order I'm talking about.

You lot just jump into stuffs without first knowing what one is talking about.

On a final note, don't let your hatred for a government turn you and your family into fo.ols.

Thank you.

He has. It is called Rules of Administrative Procedure and Practice.

Besides, Magistrate's Courts do not have the Jurisdiction to try or punish for capital offences.
I have tried to ignore most of these comments but you guys would simply keep hovering around me.

Does corruption carry a capital punishment??

Make una leave me alone abeg. I have said what I've said. If you people don't like it, then ignore it, state yours, and move on. Is that too difficult a thing to do??
