baby124:
Lol, this by force Biafra na wa o. This tells how hellish Biafra will be. Will you even let these so called minorities vote or have rights if they join Biafra? You are going online countering their positionhuh. Telling them that who are they to say no? It sounds like Biafra is looking for slaves. This is crazy, no wonder they are all running from Biafra. Biafra people have shown their hands too early.
Wise words. cool. This goes to show how repressive their country would be, with no room for accommodation of dissenting voices.

Tufiakwa.

Politics › Re: Benue Workers Sack Assembly Over Bailout Payment by omenka(m): 7:02am On Oct 29, 2015
Upon what stats did the useless state government base their application for the funds that they now want to "screen" the workers??

What I see here is a state government, in consort with a highly compromised state legislature, delaying the payments while the money yields interest in the banks for them to share OR trying to eliminate the "ghost workers" whose salaries were initially captured in the request for bailout and pocketing their salaries.

The APC government in Benue state is the worst in the country.
Politics › Re: Rivers: PDP Seeks NJC, Cjn’s Intervention by omenka(m): 6:53am On Oct 29, 2015
PassingShot:
If PDP think they csn rely on outright lies and false publications through trentonline and breaking times to wrestle power from APC, it is then save to say they actually need the free tutorials offered by Lai Muhammed.
It is indeed a big shame. That news had its source from "Premium Times" facebook page and was then propagated by trent and breakingtimes, then Wailers brought it to nairaland and splashed it all over the place. PREMIUM TIMES has long distanced themselves from the "fake facebook page" and upon investigation, they discovered the page was once a "Wike Support Group" page which was converted to what it is today to spread false propaganda. The newspaper editorial has since published an article to that effect, yet this is all the Largest Political Party in Africa hope to leverage on to change the tide of misfortune against them.

Such a shame.

Most useless tv station on the planet. That station died after Patrick Ityorher's tenure- Murray Bruce then buried it.
Politics › Re: Wike’s Loyalists Open Fake PREMIUM TIMES Facebook Page For Deception - PT by omenka(m): 6:39am On Oct 29, 2015
I have said it and would repeat it again- trent, savinggrace, breakingtimes, guardiannewsusa, and hopefornigeria are totally useless PDP propaganda sites only visited by Wailers. Now they've gone as far as duplicating PT. Just imagine the shame.

Politics › Re: Confirm Amaechi And Lose Our Support, PDP Senators Warn Saraki by omenka(m):
Three things I see here:

1. A bunch of people that never learn: Amaechi is like a submarine at high speed- his course cannot be altered by a pack of angry sharks, neither can it be stopped by a blue whale. Amaechi's destiny as a Minister of the Republic is already signed, sealed and delivered.

2. A bunch of petty losers: It is obvious PDP has but one objective in mind (even though they claim otherwise), feathering their own Nest of Killers and pursuit of interests that are at variance with that of Nigerians.

To them it doesn't matter whatsoever the competence of a man, as far as such a man's actions contributed to their loss in the presidential election, such a man cannot be given the task to rebuild this wreckage they handed to Baba. Their misplaced "vindictiveness" astonishing to say the least.

3. Bunch of confused men: If they really wanted to have Amaechi stopped what better time to start doing so than when he appeared on the floor for screening?? Rather, they kept mum like a bunch of deaf and dumb meekly puppies saying it was a "tactical move". I've never seen where "not stopping a man from achieving something STOPPED him from achieving same!" grin. And now, they are running all over the place like lost children looking to board a ship that has already sailed.

Funny people.

Where are the IPOD youths when you need them?? Instead of going to stone this man who's the cause of their plight and right now striding along the corridors of the government house in the state of their Hero Ikemba, they'd rather hide behind keyboards to throw endless feeble jabs at imaginary enemies. cheesy
Politics › Re: Opinion:femi Fani-kayode And The Laughter Of Biafra By Emmanuel Uchenna Ugwu by omenka(m): 1:38pm On Oct 28, 2015
He views history as a malleable, clayey thing, and himself, as history’s licensed potter. He could sculpt the facts of one event this way today.

Tomorrow, he takes the same lump of
facts, dash it to the ground, shape the
pieces of the damaged pottery into a
more likeable god of truth and then
beckon the whole world to worship at
that shrine.
Goddamn!! Bull's Eye!!. Is there anyone in the house who could fault these lines??
Politics › Re: Opinion:femi Fani-kayode And The Laughter Of Biafra By Emmanuel Uchenna Ugwu by omenka(m): 1:32pm On Oct 28, 2015
Fani-Kayode’s conflicted translation of this single event for the sake of his Biafran sympathy shows that what version of history he advances is a
function of his fickle mood.

He could tweak the same tale many ways to justify his immediate allegiance.

Fani-Kayode’s relationship to facts is governed by the dynamics of expediency.
This is pure gold!! No greater truth than this!

Lalasticlala, it would be nice to have this on the fp as a rejoinder to the numerous inciting tirade of FFK that have been gracing the fp lately.

In other words,
I pledge to Nigeria my country (whether you called it a zoo)

To be faithful, loyal and honest (irrespective of political or ethnic divides),

And to defend her unity (I believe in the indivisible Nigeria with true federalism and anyone with a divergent view(s) is an enemy and I'll not hesitate to smoke out his/her life when it matters),

To uphold her honour and glory (honour and glory of the most populous black nation, the largest economy in Africa, the beauty in our diversities, the sweet friendship i have kept with the yorubas, Igbos, Ijaws, Esans, Afemais, Tivs, Jukuns, Chambas, Igalas, Isokos, Ikwerres, Ibibios, Efiks, Kilbas, Michikas, Marigis etc.

So help me God. Amen!

NB : I also want to use this opportunity to convey the message of we the good people of Benue state to the biafra crusaders that no part of our land should be included in their dillusional campaign.
Be well guided!
They should very well keep their nonsense far off our fertile lands if they know what's good for them. No fraction, not even a square centimetre, would be carved off Benue to any imaginary country under any guise. angry

Lalasticlala, I think this deserves the fp to shut the mouths of ethnic and religious bigots who tend to view every single thing from a perspective of tribe and religion. Remember all they said about the Tribunal Chairman who annulled the election.
