The closer this draws, the more urgent the need for us to diversify our economy, and the more we diversify, the better for us all.

This might just be the encouragement we need to get it right as a nation.

You are correct. One of the executive directors of the Centre is now a beneficiary of recent change in NNPC/AMCON. They might want to use this as "thank you sir" gift. grin
The centre is owned by Madam Minister General. The way their polls sent Jonathan regime to its early grave, devil sef go fear.
Apparently you are a Wailer. That poll was set up for one reason alone, to prop up Jonathan's image. It was always replete with lies and half-truths, always favoured Jonathan even when the evidence on ground told a completely contrasting story.

We don't need them to validate Baba's performance- we have eyes.

News: (2013). Nigerian troops committing war crimes in the NE- US government.

Wailers: US is the biggest problem the world faces today. They are sponsors of terrorist organisations including Boko Haram.

News: (2013). Boko Haram makes enormous gains against Nigerian troops, dozens of soldiers killed- US.

Wailers: They sit in Washington and know what's happening in Nigeria. God punish America!!

News: (2014). Boko Haram captures more towns in the North East- CIA.

Wailers: Why can't these people mind their own business?? What's their interest in our business?? US is Nigeria's number one enemy as they don't desire to see an end to Boko Haram crises thereby refusing to sell arms to us.

News: ( september 2015). US diplomat cautions against high optimism over reports from the battle front in the north east stating that it is difficult to verify claims made since the areas remain largely inaccessible.

Wailers: APC propaganda has blown in their faces!! Breeze don blow fowl nyash don open!! APC and lies, bread and butter. God bless US for always telling the truth no matter what.

ver since former President Goodluck Jonathan lost the presidential election on March 28, 2015 which some of us knew he would never win based on the facts that we all knew and the statistics available, a majority of the Igbo have
been unhappy and angry.

They have been cursing and abusing the President and the All Progressives Congress leaders wishing that President Buhari never existed and the APC never formed.

Many of them have been so frustrated after the election that they are now looking for a way to get back to
the APC-controlled Federal Government.

Politics › Re: GEJ, Madueke, Ayeni, Named In Fraudulent Oil contract That Cost Nigeria Billions by omenka(m): 10:40pm On Sep 16, 2015
Mr. Ayeni, a lawyer, gained notoriety following the corruption trial that brought down Mr. Alamieyeseigha as
Bayelsa governor. He was mentioned
in court documents as admitting
helping Mr. Alamieyeseigha to
execute some deals.

Mr. Ayeni was never convicted and
has since then remained one of
Nigeria’s most ambitious
businessmen, investing heavily in
almost all key sectors of the Nigerian
economy – oil and gas, telecoms and
power. He’s currently the chairman of
Skye Bank and was awarded
Commander of the Order of Niger
(CON) – a national recognition – by
the Jonathan administration.
Under Jonathan, your status in the society depends on how big a thief you are- the more crooked you are, the bigger your presidential reward/recognition.

The man was just a "thief" and wasn't "corrupt", hence in the then president's books, he is a saint.

That man Jonathan deserves the gallows indeed.
Politics › Re: GEJ, Madueke, Ayeni, Named In Fraudulent Oil contract That Cost Nigeria Billions by omenka(m):
In at least three months of 2014, the Warri Refinery did not receive a drop
of crude supply. The Warri refinery
received an average of 1.2 million
barrels of crude oil monthly in those
four years.

Port Harcourt refinery never received
crude supply up to the full amount
expected of the illegal contract while
it lasted. In fact, NNPC data did not
show any significant leap in supply
after the transportation contract was
initiated in 2013.

Within the period, the Port Harcourt
refinery did not receive a drop of
crude oil in three months. It received
an average of 536 thousand barrels
of crude monthly, at least 2 million
barrels less than the contract was
expected to deliver.
Jonathan is nothing but a pathological criminal.

Tufiakwa!!

Cc: Lalasticlala. I really don't know why this detailed investigative report is still languishing in the backstage.
Politics › Re: GEJ, Madueke, Ayeni, Named In Fraudulent Oil contract That Cost Nigeria Billions by omenka(m): 10:16pm On Sep 16, 2015
Thus, at the times the price of crude oil hovered around $50 per barrel, the NNPC paid these firms about a third of the cost of each barrel
($15.04) as shipment cost – in
addition to all other cost of handling
crude that existed before the
contract.

These sums were paid despite the oil
corporation reporting that it kept
pumping crude oil from Escravos to
Warri refinery through the pipeline,
concurrently with the shipping deal
.
Nigeria.... How did we get herehuh This is so depressing....

agabusta:
Typical PDP supporter, putting a little bit of ethnic sentiments in your response to garner support from the tribalists.

Typical Barcanista, already making wild allegations in write-up, but now trying to somewhat portray a balanced opinion in the closing to fool superficial readers.

I have been wondering if it was actually you that was back, but your pathetic writing patterns of mixing half truths, making wild baseless allegations and then asking rhetorical question to seem unpartisan has convinced me you are one.

In some instances to justify your highly biased opinion, u put some references containing only part of the entire picture. Chai, keep wallowing in the exhortation of 'only' your gullible party members.

Your writings show u intend to do only one thing, sway opinions in any way possible. You already have the xters of the Nigerian politicians our generation will do away with. A typical political jobber. If you have a political ambition which I guess is your ultimate aim, you have to stick to justice and equity and mother nature will favour u at the right time.

But trying to play on the intelligence of people will not get u anywhere.

Back to d matter, it is a silent truth that the bridge is too expensive and skewed to the detriment of the Country in the way the contract and concession was packaged. Any patriotic citizen will support the review being carried out by PMB on the concession.

And why should it be the second major bridge that connects the SE to the rest of the country that should be tolled??

Is any other major highway tolled in the country??

Are we saying given the strategic and economic potential of the SE, the FGN under Jona cannot afford to build d bridge for the total amount of 117 billion??

Have u even tried to think it out, that the excess money on the subsidy fraud of 2012 can easily pay off this bridge??

I'm sure if it is PMB that plans to build an entry bridge into the SE with the mindset of tolling it, the whole news media will be bubbling with criticisms upon criticisms on why PMB is doing that out of hatred and wanting to hold d SE region down, and that this is non-existent in any other part of the country.

But what do we have from u guys as regards this project, silence, silence and even unreasonable support for it.

May God open your eyes.
Absolutely true.
