Mehn, I prefer not remembering that wedding. Most horrific scenes I've seen in a movie that really moved me.

Did he fast through the period?

Damn, it is so hard to use any unsavory words to qualify GEJ again. Walahi, he is a perfect example of "one good deed cleansing all bad deeds".

Since he congratulated GMB, he has been looking handsome. He must be sleeping better now... smiley
You spoke my mind to a T.

Diya. This name brings back memories. Was still a boy then but can remember a lot about that era.

I wonder why he never strayed into politics.

Fine gentleman.

Wish him as many years as he desires. smiley

I pray d greedy nature of a yorubaman(tinubu) won't affect d "change"
Only time will tell!
This "cum" you use all the time is becoming too repetitive and irritating. Did you just discover the word exists?? Even if you just did, you don't have to use it as though the world would be barred from using it anytime soon.

Oh well, I can see our Minister of Culture and Tourism. smiley

Politics › Re: Yoruba And Hausa Wicked To Igbos by omenka(m): 8:49am On Apr 03, 2015
honourhim:
I dont know why my people keep repeating this nonsense and irritating lines. What wrong did the yoruba do to us? Obviously GEJ was performing below average and they decided to pull out their support for him, pls what is the wickedness there? For me the best thing that has happened to Nigeria is this change. This change will put fear in the mind of our leaders that the power to be romoved from office lies in the masses. This change will move this country forward because Buhari has zero tolerance for corruption and cannot work with corrupt men.

Not only the yorubas were wicked to u but we the igbos who supported Buhari were also wicked to u. Una dey try.

The insult and abuse we received from u people because of. Buhari was good, right?
The massive rigging that you people did in the east to the extent that a whole Chris Ngige of APC got only twenty thousand votes in his senatorial zone is not wickedness.?,
The one u did in Enugu and Imo and pdp cleared all the senatorial and house of rep seats is not wuckedness? The one u did in Rivers State thru Wike is not wickedness? All these blame game unu na eme is not necessaru pls. Lets support this change and see how far we can go bikonu. I know some of u will abuse me now as u have always done here but am not bothered.
A crate of Orijin for you Op.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Stops PDP’s Bid To Contest Buhari’s Victory by omenka(m): 7:36am On Apr 03, 2015
He knows what a futile exercise it would be. The court would simply adjourn the case till September. Then we'd see how a court can sack a sitting president.

Jonathan has really played his card well on this one. He's finally bowing out a hero and not the villain I'd always seen him to be.

ALOT OF BLA BLA BLA HAS BEEN MAKING ROUND ABOUT THE POST OF SENATE PRESIDENT THEY SAID WE LOST BY VOTING OUT NGIGE,I ONLY BUT LAUGH WHEN I HEAR SUCH NONSENSE,SEE WE DONT NEED IT.WE VOTED OUT NGIGE,WE KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS IF APC WINS THE PRESIDENCY,WE DID THE CALCULATION WELL BEFORE TAKING THE ACTION,GOD WILLING OUR NEXT TARGET WILL BE TO VOTE OUT ROCHAS .AS FOR BUHARI OUR WISHES FOR HIM IS FOR HIM TO LEAD WELL AND PERFORM THAT WONDER HE BELIEVE GEJ NEVER PERFORM.

THE PRESIDENT,VICE,SENATE PRESIDENT,SPEAKER AND ALL THAT YOU CAN KEEP ALL,WE DONT NEED THEM.
DONT RUB YOUR VICTORY IN OUR FACE YOU DIDNT ACHIEVE THE UNACHIEVABLE,YOU KEEPING IT DEPEND ON HOW WELL YOU PERFORMED SO GET BUSY

This is the reason why woman hardly make good politicians.

Jonathan promised to rout the group in two months. It appears he has succeeded in doing so. Wouldn't you rather commend him than doing otherwise??

Would you have been happier had the blood-letting continued??
Politics › Re: Ijaw Youths To Meet On Outcome Of Presidential Poll by omenka(m): 6:49am On Apr 03, 2015
Body don dey sweet these people small small.

Something about threats to blow up oil installations in the region that get me laughing: when you blow up a pipeline in your backyard, who's gonna be hardest hit with the environmental pollution that would ensue?? Your mothers and fathers can't fish or farm because the water bodies and farmlands would be devastated. Do the Asaris of this world understand this at all??

Neutralising threats from the ND requires placing more emphases on agriculture. That is the direction of the Buhari administration.

Politics › Re: Buhari And The Nigerian Army: What Would The Relationship Be Like Now? by omenka(m):
It would definitely be frosty right now and both parties would hit a few bumps trying to smoothen things out, but it cannot deteriorate to a point he goes into DHQ guns blazing and sacking everything that breathes.

Buhari must understand the sentiments of Nigerians. Jonathan effectively disarmed him by quickly conceding defeat in the election, it was what no one expected. Regardless of all the sins he has committed in the past, he now projects this image of a hero of democracy and indeed a good man. You simply can't imagine the number of lives he musta saved by that singular move.

Now, he has somewhat succeeded in nudging public sentiment in his direction and any action taken against his men would be seen as a veiled attack on him and judged unfair, portraying the General in very bad light. Such words as ungrateful, petty, and vindictive would then be used to describe his persona, and that is what he (Buhari) doesn't need at the moment.

Heads must roll at the top echelon of the military, deservedly so, we understand that, but they must not roll too quickly. Nigerians are too emotional and sentimental. They cannot handle justice being dispensed in such quick succession. And this is why the Ekiti case must be handled with caution else the general gets his hands fried. Let the HoA handle that.
Politics › Re: Osun 2014 Gov Election: Appeal Court Throws Out Omisore’s Appeal by omenka(m): 6:28am On Apr 03, 2015
Omisore can now go and lick a bag of salt, and after he's done, assemble a gang of astute lawyers to defend him in court over Ekitigate.
