django1: You know sometimes barcanista patronizes the jonathanians.

Maybe just to not be seen as always criticising them sacrifices the truth sometimes.
There is absolutely no need for this. He said what he said based on updates on the news event. Most people are getting confused about this, including myself. If there was no truth to what his tweets are saying, why did PT take such a major news off their front page preferring less important news such as the Fayose's thugs issue, Synagogue issue and that of the senate's stand on soldiers that mutinied?? Something must definitely be wrong somewhere.

NgeneUkwenu: Omenka, the news is still there on their website! Do you have network problems?

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/politics/168535-breaking-defence-headquarters-says-chibok-girls-not-freed.html#sthash.Nw5NnqLb.dpbs
Ok. The link might still be there but it is not running on the front page. Guess it has been taken to the archives.
Open the site https://www.premiumtimesng.com/ and you wouldn't see any story regarding that incident. What we have as the major stories are the soldiers mutiny issue, synagogue issue, and the Ayo Fayose's thugs' invasion of the Ekiti court proceeding. Then other mundane stuffs follow.
Politics › Re: 2015: Sen David Mark's Seat Not Contestable - Suswam by omenka(m): 8:33am On Sep 24, 2014
Last time I checked they both come from different senatorial districts, hence that decision should be left for the people of the senate president's constituency to decide.

And I understand Suswam himself is gunning for the senate; how about making the position he seeks to occupy which is presently occupied by someone else uncontestable, abi d person no be human being?? Politicians and their greed!! From house of reps to state government house and now he wants the senate!!! I pity the people of that State.

Smh.

barcanista: omenka, I think Premiumtimes were too excited. There is no proof that Gen Olukolade made the "1st Statement", Premium times played a fast one on us. On this note, I sincerely apologise to Gen Olukolade, the Military and President Jonathan for my harsh words as regards this brohuaha!!

Premiumtimes should tender apology to the government, the public and the military.

God bless the Military
I guess that explains why they took down the stories from their site. The cost of such litigation could wreck a business completely. Checking to see if SR did thesame.

Politics › Re: Gen. Olukolade Denies Saying The Girls Were Released. by omenka(op): 7:24am On Sep 24, 2014
Premium times said he "called back to retract his earlier statement" which means they had spoken with him earlier and he confirmed girls had been released.

The Defence Headquarters spokesman, Gen Chris Olukolade

Now, who is to blame for the gaffe??

redsun: It is a actually the suppose lawmakers that deserves such faith. They are the core traitors and the usurpers.
The word is "fate" not faith.

I just hate the "senate". Everytime you see them in proceedings, all they do is read newspapers and gist with the other guy sitting next to them. They are just totally useless.

berem: did you have to make such statement? I was loving your posts until you flopped. If you think "the tribe" is the problem of Jonathan's administration, then tell Jonathan to stop appointing "the tribe" in his cabinet. undecided
This tribe and religion thingy is getting more and more nauseating daily. I still find it very difficult believing that supposedly educated folks tow that line of thought!!

It is so appalling.
Politics › Re: Are Jonathan's Aides Intentionally Making Him Look Clueless? by omenka(m): 7:55pm On Sep 23, 2014

No wonder we are not wining this war on terror.

Why would the International Community sell arms to a Clueless and inept Army??

Everybody is laughing at Nigeria now! Yeye people!
Now it is clear they didn't learn anything from the experience they had from the early days of the abduction saga. I pity our true heroes in the fields.
