If the Itsekiri's say that they are not Yoruba's, then they are not Yoruba. Let us respect thier decision

Please I beg you remove Arogbo Ijaw from your equation. Apologies to Omoyele Sowere and the few noble Arogbo Ijaw guys, but majority of them are Militants. I am even of the opinion that Ese-Odo LG of Ondo be carved to Delta State.

Ajakpa, Mile II Zion, Bolowo, Akotogbo, Egede-Igbene, Zion Church etc are all den of Miitants. Those criminals will give us trouble if we include in our prospective Yoruba Country.
I don't agree with removing Ese-odo local government.. Ilaje is a yoruba sub-group. People like Seyi law (comedian) are ilajes

Don't you think a possibility of having an homogeneous yoruba nation with a well defined structure will solve your militancy fears?

O'loon loyo is just using the heads of ipob thugs to play tambourine lol grin This is the same ret.ard they used to heap praises on back then. They even gave her one potor name.

Just say the regular things potor clowns like to hear and watch a wankfest for free

Same thing Maazi Nnamiddiot, Fanny Kowerede, and Ponmodele Ponmoyose did.

For people that claim to be this and that to fall for someone as retar.ded as this shows you how fooked up their psyche is

Its really not hard to tell majority of these guys are gala and Fanyogo hawkers
She sold her podcasts to them for N5K sef... . They called her NKEM Biafra, lol
Politics › Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Omofunaab2: 4:09pm On Jul 02, 2017
I was a guest on nairaland for so many years, my abode then was the culture and politics section. But later i noticed some monikers were no more contributing.. I didn't quite understand until recently when laudate addressed the issue, he said many complained about the mods not being fair.

The thread that was deleted was so important that i had to call the attention of my friends that were not on nairaland to it... For God's sake that was a thread were people contributed intelligently without insulting minority tribes.. Infact we had meaningful contributions from people from other tribes. People like Efewestern and yungmilli contributed, and for once i was able to understand the itsekiri's angle to an oduduwa nation..

What's nairaland's priority? Do you want threads were people will contribute and parents will tell their children to visit the thread and learn more about their region, tribe? Or you want threads were we keep insulting the hell out of each other?

Today, Many people are tribalists on nairaland not because they wanted to but because the mods didn't do their job in the first place. There was no level playing ground, this disgusted me a lot, Of course many of us couldn't have sat down and allow some mor.ns insult the hell out of our tribe in which many of us hold dearly.

This is the Internet, if we keep replying hatred with love, war with peace, insults with moral talks, many years from now, our children will be left ashamed of their fathers and mothers when they later come across threads were igbos were abusing their tribes or telling lies and their fathers couldn't refute anything. . .Our fathers instilled cultural and ethnic pride in us but it's a pity that today Many yorubas don't have pride, our fathers dream was for an independent country and not the one Nigeria nonsense people like sarrki preach all about.. Our fathers wanted development and unity of the yoruba race... You are first a yoruba man before being a Nigerian.

Seun needs to redefine the vision and mission of nairaland.. if you want a nairaland where numerous threads about Nnamdi kanu forming Slay Queen upandan are gracing the front page or threads were people of thoughts discuss the future of their tribe and development.

Do you want a nairaland where we continue shouting Igbo and afonja without making meaningful contributions?

Do you want a nairaland where half of all topics on the politics section is about Biafra, igbos whereas topics that tends to form ethnic consciousness devoid of hatred are being deleted?

Do you want threads of people that ought to be in the shadows but trending on nairaland over gucci?

Politics › Re: 1966 Coup: “the Igbos Now Vindicated And Exonerated” Olusegun Obasanjo. by Omofunaab2: 2:55am On Jul 01, 2017
Paperwhite:
In so much that the January 1966 military coup was mainly spear-headed by igbo officers,it still remains a pan-Nigerian coup. The involvement of northern officers like Capt.Gibson Jalo,Capt.Swanton,Lt.Pam Madwok and 2Lt.Atom Opera among many other unnamed northern conspirators tends to balance the multi-ethnic involvement. The involvement of Yoruba officers including Maj.Adewale Ademoyega,Cap.Adeleke,Lt.Fola Oyewole(with Maj.Nzeogwu in Kaduna),as well as Lt.Olafinmihan betray the lies being peddled that it was an all igbo affair.
A coup that killed the Northern and western premier but spared their eastern counterpart is Pan-Nigerian to you. .. Lol

Yes,. Major banjo, Major adewale ademoyega, Lt oyewole also fought on the side of Biafra during the Civil War, but it doesn't change the fact it was a war for the independence of biafra.

When you look at it from the angle of the ethnicity of people that were killed in the coup and the ethnicity of those that were spared, then having two or three yorubas partake in an Ibo dominated coup should mean nothing to you..
Politics › Re: 1966 Coup: “the Igbos Now Vindicated And Exonerated” Olusegun Obasanjo. by Omofunaab2: 2:33am On Jul 01, 2017
All these lame attempts by the igbos to re write history is sickening..

One was even saying, Awolowo planned the coup from prison and that he instructed them to kill only yorubas and Northerners while igbos should be spared. .

You guys should forget about Nigerian history and focus more on how Emperor Kanu, the Supreme commander of all ipod zombies will lead you out of the zoo

Buoda mi, I resonate with your thought here but I want to take it further that Edo should be set apart from the list.

Uncle ooduapathfinder

I doubt we have any land(s) in Edo. I am starting to dislike our seeming fixation on Edo -- we have nothing in common with them other than one of our ancestors going there to help fix their inept monarchy. After he left, the monarchy was hijacked and it is now an Edo thing. Outside our influence on the monarchy/art, we are different from the Edo peoples. I feel we should let them out of this abeg, they do not belong to us and we do not belong to them. Our bond had long been cut off by them with the creation of Mid-Western Region, please let us leave it at that.
I think the Op was referring to Akoko-edo.. Even at that, they should be the one to decide where they belong

Why didn't aguiyi ironsi execute the coup plotters?

Besides that, most of the soldiers that participated in the 1966 coup later fought on the side of biafra during the Civil War . Even kaduna Nzeogwu that you guys claimed was more hausa than igbo, fought for Biafra..

You guys should quit all these attempts at trying to re-write history.. 1966 coup that killed both hausa and yoruba leaders was an igbo coup.. Period

Why should the western region before independence have an easterner as its first premier?

I'm very sure the Emeka's and uchenna's would have been mocking us here on nairaland by now
